From YouTube: "e" inc. Environmental Museum Ribbon Cutting
Description
Students can now engage in the wonders of the earth and the science that drives the planet through hands-on experiences at the new "e" inc. Environmental Museum. Mayor Walsh joins Chief of Environment, Energy & Open Space Austin Blackmon, the Charlestown Chamber of Commerce, students and "e" inc. board members, to cut the ribbon on the new space located in the Charlestown Navy Yard.
A
A
A
We
serve
over
7,000
kids
across
the
Greater
Boston
area
and
to
see
more
new
people
join
us
with
these
different
events
gives
us
great
confidence
in
the
work
that
we're
doing
not
only
in
the
classroom
but
outside
the
classrooms.
This
isn't
a
celebration
Bri.
This
is
a
celebration
for
most
of
the
people
in
this
room
would
be
most
of
you
that
I
see
here
either
donated
whether
the
test,
donation
or
in-kind
donation.
A
There
were
a
lot
of
moving
products
to
transform
this
space
into
what
you're,
seeing
here
most
of
the
people
that
are
new
to
the
event
tonight,
their
first
time
in
this
space
I
hear
this
was
very
cool.
This
is
awesome
this
inside.
It's
very
hands-on
learning
experience
at
one
point
a
year
ago.
It
wasn't
like
that
this
was
where
they
used
to
build
Dory
boats,
and
this
was
an
industrial
space.
We
had.
B
A
Tall
task,
a
very
tall,
fundraising
goal
of
transforming
this
space
into
something
you
could
actually
learn
from,
and
it
wasn't
the
compost
I
was
from
the
staff.
It
was
not
become,
as
I
was
from
the
board
from
Brittany,
it
was
the
donations.
It
was
trusting
the
community
support
from
not
only
chopped
down
but
outside
of
the
neighborhood.
It
was
the
donations
from
district
council
35,
the
painted
union
came
in
and
they
completely
paint
this
whole
whole
space.
A
B
A
Exhibit
this
exhibit
is
on
display,
typically
in
Chicago
as
a
thing
to
know
about
hey
Suzanne,
so
we
have
to
go
through
something
obviously
exercise
renovations
to
do
that.
Next
talk
money.
We
went
into
this
with
$100,000
budget.
We
were
able
to
lower
that
cost
by
twenty-five
percent
through
in-kind
donations
and
make
up
the
difference
through
donations
from
a
lot
of
people
that
I
actually
see
in
this
room.
So
don't
give
up
the
round
of
applause.
Please
do
yourselves
a
round
of
applause
for
everything
you
guys
can
put
into
this.
A
I'm
going
to
end
the
end
over
and
just
one
second
to
someone
who
this
is
his
third
time
visiting
the
face,
and
if
you
put
every
time
it
was
Elia,
something
happens
the
night
before
national
level.
That
throws
you
for
a
loop,
so
I'm
hoping
this
is
the
last
time
water
and
you
get
here
here.
We
can't
afford
many
more
changes,
so
I
want
to
invite
up
Austin
Blackmun
Austin.
It's
been
a
great
supporter
of
this
being
of
the
space.
You
know,
thank
you
for
what
you
do.
B
B
B
C
Earlier
today,
we
held
a
press
conference
talked
and
directed
some
comments
to
the
administration,
urging
them
not
to
spoil
the
Paris
agreement,
but
with
no
further
ado.
I
want
to
make
sure
that
I
give
the
stage
to
my
boss,
mayor
Walsh,
because
he
is
such
a
leader.
He
is
such
so
passionate
about
what
you
hate
and
Ricky,
and
the
board
are
doing
here.
There
is
no
better
way
to
make
sure
that
we,
the
future
of
our
requirements
by
teaching
our
children,
how
to
care
for
it,
and
that's
really.
C
B
The
last
time
Austin
is
coming
here
can
take
it
anymore,
three
and
a
half
years.
You
come
back.
Let
me
just
get
a
few
things
out
of
the
way
James
from
the
board.
Thank
you
very
much.
This
is
incredible
and
what
you've
been
able
to
do
without
the
building
trades
from
the
other
people.
So
congratulations
to
all
the
board
members
here
Ricky.
Thank
you
as
well
for
the
tool
I
want
to
thank
that
Deanie
Ryan.
They
represent
a
team
Ryan
who
had
on
a
state
level
before
you
just
a
representative.
B
He
worked
with
Congress
on
Capuano
and
it
certainly
they've
done
a
lot
of
traveling
on
his
office
with
meetings
there.
They
were
doing
a
lot.
They
were
ahead
of
the
curve
when
it
came
to
climate
change
of
global
unemployment,
warming
and
certainly
in
the
state
where
representative,
the
real
partners
well
so
Thank
You
Danny,
for
your
partnership,
friendship
to
the
all
the
neighborhood
activists
and
else
we'll
make
one
other
folks
here.
Thank
you
for
being
here
today.
Really,
you
know
two
schools,
one
Prescott,
the
cat.
B
Okay,
so
two
great
schools
here
in
Charlestown
I
want
to
thank
you
for
being
here
today.
You
know
it's
kind
of
not
ironic
that
I'm
in
today,
but
it
is
just
going
to
be,
and
today,
because
of
what
could
be
coming
out
of
Washington,
it's
all
right
here,
it's
already--as!
You
know
what
this
building
is
all
about.
B
Doctors
did
a
future
people
work
in
the
world,
they're
the
ones
that
we
try
to
reverse
some
of
the
image
that
was
done
to
the
air
upon
now,
for
them
to
the
future
of.
What's
going
to
happen
here.
So
it's
important
also
in
an
area
that
in
a
magic
box
of
2030
plan,
child
sound
practice,
child
sound
is
actually
would
see
the
level
rises
under
one,
and
we
have
I
know
Rebecca's
here
from
Spalding
and
when
Spaulding
was
built,
they
built
it
with
the
understanding
of
protecting
it
with
the
environment.
B
They
build
it
on
still
so
Tornai,
really
the
first
true
green
buildings
that
we
have
built
in
the
city
of
Boston,
that's
actually
on
the
waterfront
that
will
actually
rising
and
the
way
they
designed
it
and
they
have
to
get
more
towards
that
and
spoiling
to
that
for
a
lot
of
reasons,
and
we
should
part
of
the
fact
that
there
in
Charlestown
and
that
the
building
is
like
literally
right
across
the
street.
Probably
one
of
one
of
the
most
prepared
buildings
for
climate
change
in
the
world
is
probably
great
outside
the
door
here.
B
So
again,
I
think
it's
important
for
the
young
people
to
understand
that.
So
we
have
to
continue
to
work
in
fight
for
the
future.
For
our
kids
today
we
can
all
the
press
conference
Austin's
doing
some
incredible
work
in
in
City
Hall
with
climate
change,
the
city
of
Boston
for
three
years
in
a
row
has
been
ranked
the
number
one
climate
friendly
city
we're
going
to
continue
to
sort
of
shoot
for
that
we
put
a
plan
out
there
to
be
carbon
neutral
by
2050.
We're
way
aggressive
in
the
last
plant.
