A
A
A
A
So
before
we
get
to
our
special
guest,
I
also
want
to
honor
and
thank
several
other
people
that
were
instrumental
in
the
journey
for
Reebok
to
Boston.
So
please
join
me
in
thanking
the
following,
and
we
want
to
welcome
the
team
from
Jayla.
Jll
was
crucial
in
managing
our
process
from
A
to
Z
to
come
to
Boston
Thank
You
Jo.
A
A
A
A
So
these
people
that
have
joined
us
today
and
many
many
many
of
you
played
a
huge
role
in
the
journey
to
Boston,
but
this
also
could
not
have
been
done
without
the
leadership
of
Mayor
Mary
Walsh
and
the
extremely
talented
team
at
City
Hall,
as
well
as
the
counselors
that
helped
us
along
the
way.
You
know
oftentimes,
there's
a
perception,
there's
a
perception
that
you
know.
Government
is
bureaucracy
and
it's
difficult
and
all
that
and
it
can
be
hard
when
you
have
to
work
with
various
agencies
and
boards
and
elected
officials.
A
You
know
we
have
to
secure
permits
and
we
had
to
get
permission
for
things
like
the
sign
upstairs
or
parking,
but
the
government
in
Boston,
like
us,
are
focused
on
speed.
They
don't
always
give
us
everything
exactly
you
know.
If
we
wanted
I
wanted
a
sign
that
went
across
the
entire
building,
so
they
could.
They
have
to
balance
the
needs
of
the
constituency,
the
people
of
the
city,
but
they
always
work
with
great
dignity,
great
speed,
their
solutions
oriented
and
they
found
ways
to
make
things
work.
A
So
I
think
it's
a
great
example
how
we
want
to
work
with
speed.
You
know
the
timeline
from
when
we
started
this
to
today
is
truly
remarkable.
Yesterday
we
were
with
a
real
estate,
editor
from
Boston
Business
Journal,
and
she
basically
said
that
we
did
this
in
the
third
of
the
time.
That
is
typical
and
we
won
an
award.
A
A
Already
do
drink
works
with
with
with
box,
and
that
has
a
specific
focus
on
Boston
with
now
60
schools
that
will
only
grow
further
in
the
coming
years
and
last
year,
400
of
you
volunteered
3,200
hours
in
the
local
organizations.
So
in
2018
we
have
even
more
exciting
initiatives
with
our
new
social
purpose
strategy.
A
In
the
end,
Reebok
is
going
to
have
an
amazing
impact
from
an
economic
point
of
view,
we're
going
to
create
new
jobs
and
we're
going
to
be
part
of
the
innovation
community
here,
but
just
as
importantly,
just
as
importantly,
we're
going
to
impact
the
lives
of
those
that
live
in
the
city.
Our
community
just
remember
it's
through
sport
and
in
particular
our
case
through
Fitness,
that
we
have
the
power
to
change,
lives.
B
Thank
you,
the
Dropkick
Murphys
I
want
to
thank
I
want
to
thank
you.
John
I,
want
to
thank
everyone
here
at
Reebok
talked
about
you
in
a
second
I
just
want
to
give
a
couple
Charlotte's
as
well.
I
want
to
thank
C
consul,
Michael
Flaherty,
who,
in
this
process
as
well,
was,
was
very
active
in
making
sure
s
Reebok
made
the
decision
to
move
to
Boston
working
to
get
you
here.
So
we're
excited
to
have
you
here.
B
Eddy
Flynn
is
is
new
to
the
City
Council,
but
he's
hit
the
ground
running
and
we're
upstairs
and
going
through
the
gym
tour
and
the
gym
he's
asking
questions
about
what
kind
of
veteran
programs
are
here
so
I
want
to.
Thank
both
of
you
feel
great
work.
I
want
to
thank
Jamestown
clearly
in
Gilbane
construction,
I
think
Peter
Gerry
is
here.
He
was
a
project
manager
on
this
project
that
did
an
incredible
job
and
I
want
to
thank
all
the
folks
that
are
part
of
this.
B
I
want
to
welcome
you
to
Boston
we're
excited
to
have
you.
Boston
is
becoming
the
the
sneaker
capital
in
the
world.
It
really
is
I'm
not
going
to
mention
the
competitors
because
at
Chickamauga
my
remarks,
but
when
you
think
about
what's
happening
in
our
city,
it
is
incredible
so
I
want
to.
Thank
you
very
much
for
for
all
being
here.
I
want
to
thank
this
is
exciting
to
see
what's
happening
in
this
amazing
building
in
the
diversity
of
the
different
businesses.
B
In
this
building
a
few
years
ago,
I
had
a
chance
to
get
on
New
York
City
Jamestown
owns
some
property
down
in
Brooklyn
and
I
went
through
the
Brooklyn
shipyard,
and
we
saw
a
lot
of
great
businesses
make
up
our
friends
of
being
one
of
them
being
there
and
thinking
of
creative
ideas.
When
you
come
here
now,
you
walk
come
to
the
sub
Boston
waterfront,
whether
it's
in
this
building,
we'll
walk
around.
B
There's
all
kinds
of
innovation
going
on,
there's
all
kinds
of
talented
people
coming
to
be
able
to
express
themselves,
and
it's
so
exciting
for
us
in
the
city
of
Boston,
and
it's
so
exciting,
to
see
Reebok
here
actually
doing
that.
What's
so
so
important
that
we're
not
just
talking
about
it,
but
we're
actually
acting
on
it
manufacturing.
In
this
company
manufacturing
design,
technology
and
retail,
you
don't
see
that
often
across
the
board,
this
company
for
the
press,
people
that
are
here,
this
company
has
home
to
750
new
employees.
As
you
walk
around
you
can
see.
B
This
is
a
very
creative
place
to
work.
The
flagship
store
on
the
first
floor,
which
is
incredible,
is
this
two-story
gym
on
the
first
and
second
floor
and
when
you
walk
around,
you
can
really
see
a
lot
of
innovation
and
feel
it
as
you
walk
around
the
room.
What
I
love
the
most
is:
there's
normal,
there's
really
not
many
walls
here,
it's
all,
there's
no
privacy,
it's
all
about
open
conversations,
open
meetings
and
how
do
you
collaborate
or
collectively
together?
B
That
really
is
about
the
future
and
that's
what
that's
what
we
have
to
do
more
often
I
want
to
congratulate
all
of
you
for
the
incredible
work
and
this
incredible
headquarters.
You
know
John
talked
about
the
bar
program
in
people.
Mcclure's
live
our
program.
The
broad
program
is
a
physical
fitness
program
that
we
have
in
60
of
our
Boston
Public
Schools
with
rebar
and
what
it
does.
It
gets
young
people
and
they
come
in
early.
They
come
in
school
before
it
actually
starts,
and
they
have
them
running
around
and
getting
into
shape
and
doing
exercise.
B
B
I,
look
forward
to
I
look
forward
to
continuing
this
great
partnership
with
the
City
of
Boston
in
this
great
company.
I
want
to
congratulate
any
anyone
and
everyone
who
made
this
building
possible.
All
the
architects,
construction,
America's
employees,
everyone
else
I
want
to
thank
the
people
that
work
here,
for
your
innovation
and
for
your
thoughtfulness.
I
want
to
thank
you
for
understanding
the
importance
of
what
you
do
every
single
day.
Thank
you
for
being
here
now
before
I
end
on
the
end.
In
a
second
there's,
a
young
man.
Here
we
get
caught
up
in
life.
B
Sometimes
we
let
the
small
stuff
bother.
So
we
let
other
things
bother
us.
It
really
shouldn't
and
there's
a
young
man
here
today:
Gavin
McCarthy
who's
on
his
own
little
battle
and
he's
fighting
for
the
last
few
years,
with
he's
beaten
up
the
demons
of
cancer
and
he's
with
us
today,
and
now
he
came
in
with
all
different
gear
on.
So
let's
not
take
a
picture
of
the
stuff
he
is
on,
but
I
know
when
he
leave,
there's
gonna
be
all
Reebok
here,
so
I
want
to
just
give
over
the
special
round
of
applause.
