The EPA has just allocated $500 million in rebate funds to help school districts nationwide with the transition from diesel to electric schools buses. The Boston Public Schools plan to have fully converted to zero-emmission electric buses by 2030. Mayor Wu is joined with EPA Deputy Administrator Janet McCade, elected officials, and BPS students and staff at New Mission High School in Hyde Park for this announcement.

With Mayor Walsh, Boston Public Schools Superintendent Chang, and Principal Davis in attendance, the school debuted its green infrastructure project.
