In the South End, Mayor Wu joined Governor Baker, Governor-elect Maura Healey and friends of The Greater Boston Food Bank for their annual Chain of Giving Event. This holiday kickoff aims to bring partners and volunteers together to combat food insecurity in Eastern Massachusetts.

Mayor Wu attends the Dorchester Winter Farmers Market, a market dedicated to good health and good eating habits with locally produced agricultural products such as fruit, eggs, meat, vegetables, and many more.

Mayor Wu will shop at Daily Table in Roxbury, followed by an announcement regarding food access. She will be joined by Daily Table’s Chief Operating Officer Michael Malmberg and Store Manager Rose Marsan.
