A
B
I'm
Whitney
Celestin-
and
this
is
your
Matapan
report-
Mattapan-
is
having
a
housing
boom
right
now
and
we
like
it
for
years.
The
Cody
Ford
lot
on
Cummings
Highway
was
an
eyesore
after
years
of
work
with
the
community,
a
vigilant
impact
advisory
group
chosen
by
Mayor
Walsh,
the
Boston
Planning
and
Development
Agency,
the
development
team
from
Caribbean
integration,
development,
community
and
many
others.
We
finally
are
expecting
this
exciting
1.3
billion
project
called
Cody
village.
It's
a
break
ground
and
give
Matapan
76
units,
including
units
for
affordable
housing
and
one
skip
away
at
the
matter.
B
Penn
Station.
The
parking
lot
is
being
developed
into
a
135
unit
project
with
68
units
set
to
be
at
affordable
rate.
Nuestra
comunidad
is
committed
to
having
this
building
be
LEED
certified,
making
it
that
much
more
valuable
to
our
community.
There's
no
better
way
to
resolve
the
housing
crisis
in
Boston,
then
thoughtful
design
such
as
these
two
projects
coming
up
another
exciting
feature
of
the
matter:
Penn
Station
development
is
the
commercial
space.
B
The
bus
public
schools,
FY
19
budget
was
just
released
and
we
are
thankful
for
allocation
to
better
pay
and
schools,
such
as
a
1.3
million
for
the
Ellison
parks
and
a
6.9
million
to
the
Young
Achievers
Academy
mayor
Walsh
puts
a
very
high
value
in
education
and
investing
in
our
schools
is
key,
come
to
Mattapan
and
enjoy
a
Greenway
along
with
the
Neponset
River
that
connects
multiple
towns,
including
Hyde,
Park
and
Milton.
Fresh
air
is
good
for
us,
so
come
and
enjoy.
Something
that
have
been
Matapan
is
bursting
with
culture.
B
We
have
a
huge
Caribbean
population
and,
while
I
serve
as
the
Haitian
liaison
I
get
to
connect
with
these
different
cultures,
I'm
from
Haiti,
we
have
great
food.
Have
you
ever
had
roti
or
jerk
chicken
or
flaky
Haitian
patty
come
visit,
Matapan
I
promise
you'll
find
something
you
love
here.
I'm
Whitney,
Celestin
and
I'll
see
you
in
the
neighborhood.
