A
Over
a
year
ago,
mayor
Walsh
created
the
cabinet
position,
the
office
of
civic
engagement
and
charged
us
with
crying
to
find
creative
new
ways
to
provide
just
basic
city
services
of
facing
interaction
of
residents.
And
so
we
wanted
to
figure
out
how
to
expand
just
the
truck
that
just
shows
off
on
a
street
randomly
for
you
to
compare
parking
tix,
and
so
we
started
think
about
having
more
of
a
secured
base.
And
what
is
the
more
of
secure
base
in
any
community
than
our
community
centers.
Just.
B
Because
it's
a
simple
fact
that
I
think
that
we
have
to
do
always
do
a
little
bit
more
for
our
constituents
to
make
sure
that
they
know
that
all
our
facilities
are
here
to
help
them,
not
only
in
just
doing
the
physicality
pieces
or
the
youth
program
pieces,
but
at
the
same
time
to
get
them.
Look
to
be
a
little
bit
much
closer
to
City
Hall,
but
within
their
own
neighborhood.
B
C
Center
view,
their
families
is
an
opportunity
for
us.
I
think,
to
make
sure
when
people
talk
about
the
city
of
austin,
one
of
the
first
apartments,
they
should
talk
about,
not
the
VRA,
not
public
works
on
transportation.
You
should
be
talking
about
boston
center
of
youth
and
families,
for
the
impact
that
you
have
in
people's
lives.
