Walsh-
has
proposed
the
largest
Boston
public
schools
budget
in
the
city's
history
at
one
point:
1
billion
dollars.
This
is
a
48
million
dollar
increase
over
last
year.
It
includes
continued
investment
in
early
childhood
education,
extended
learning
time
and
placing
high
quality
teachers
in
every
classroom.
One
point:
eight
million
dollars
will
go
towards
helping
students
that
are
homeless.
The
proposed
budget
also
includes
a
new
program
dedicated
to
helping
boys
of
color
succeed
for
more
information.

affordable
