A
B
C
C
C
C
B
B
A
D
Online
so.
D
We
need
to
have
volume
on
this
table
as
well,
so
starting
with
our
fy
23
budget,
since
our
we're
got
to
turn
it
down
on
that
end
since
our
last
crb.
This
is
our
last
meeting
mayor
wu
and
the
city
council
have
officially
passed
our
fy
23
budget
and
we've
talked
about
this
in
the
past,
but
it's
now
official.
We
have
three
investments
that
we
want
to
highlight
and
talk
about
that
I'm
very
proud
of
here.
D
So
the
first
one
is
that
we
have
two
this
year,
we'll
have
two
high
school
students
and
college
students
that
are
paid
internships.
We've
heard
people
talk
about
having
internships
in
their
office.
We
will
actually
have
two
paid
internships
that
are
year
round
in
our
office.
Our
high
school
students
will
get
paid
18
an
hour
and
our
college
students
will
get
paid
22
an
hour.
D
I
think
it's
very
important
that
we
continue
the
work
of
having
youth
voices
in
our
office,
and
you
will
hear
shortly
for
some
of
our
youth
participants
from
the
summer,
but
the
work
that
they
do
here
is
really
important,
and
it's
not
just
filing
and
answering
phones.
They
do
learn
what
it's
like
to
be
in
this
office
through
civic
engagement,
also
what
the
investigators
do.
They
do
not
get
access
to
files,
but
we
do.
D
The
investigative
team
has
done
great
work
of
doing
mock
investigation,
so
they
know
what
that
looks
like
learning
the
different
levels
of
government,
as
well
as
the
branches
of
government
and
so
really
just
making
sure
that
they're
fully
invested
in
social
justice
work.
In
addition,
we
did
get
funding
to
have
a
consultant
come
on
board
come
on
in
no
problem.
We
have
funding
for
a
consultant.
D
Part
of
our
work
is
a
semi-annual
report
that
we
have
to
submit
every
year
to
report
out
the
bypark,
hiring
promotion,
termination
and
retention
of
bpd
officers
and
doing
that
work
last
december.
What
we
determined
is
that
it's
great
to
have
numbers,
but
it's
better
if
we
know
how
this
works
and
how
we
can
improve
upon
that.
D
So
we
are
looking
forward
to
having
a
consultant
working
with
the
office
of
equity,
human
rights,
commission
and
bpd
to
really
evaluate
how
we
can
improve
byproduct
numbers
in
all
aspects
of
bpd,
not
just
in
offices
but
the
entire
workforce
at
bpd
for
the
high
in
retention
and
promotion.
D
So
we're
doing
a
lot
of
internal
work
and
we'll
talk
about
that
as
we
get
more
into
it.
So
we're
hoping
to
have
that
in
place,
and
then
we
have
a
new
position
that
we
are
going
to
be
hiring
for
here.
D
If
you
know
anyone
for
a
community
mediator
for
the
community
mediator,
one
of
the
things
that
we
could
do
in
the
ordinance-
and
I'm
not
just
going
to
the
slovenia
review
board
or
t
to
ayah-
is
having
someone
who
may
come
in
for
a
complaint
that
doesn't
fully
meet
going
to
the
crb
or
may
meet.
But
they
it's
really.
D
They
just
need
to
have
a
conversation
with
a
police
officer
again
so
moving
towards
the
whole
trust
and
getting
to
know
our
community
police
getting
to
have
better
relationships
with
our
community
having
a
community
leader
is
going
to
be
paramount
to
that
relationship
building.
So
we
are
going
to
have
that
position
come
in.
So
what
happens
hoping
to
have
all
of
these
things
implemented
starting
next
month?
D
As
you
know,
we
have
a
new
police
commissioner,
michael
cox,
who
was
sworn
in
a
couple
of
days
ago.
My
deputy
commissioner
and
I
definitely
commissioned.
I
can
definitely
director
and
I
were
proud
to
witness
that
on
monday,
there's
been
a
lot
of
talks
about
having
a
commissioner
since
I
started
last
year.
So
now
we
have
a
commissioner
who's
in
place.
D
So
michael
cox,
for
those
who
don't
know,
he's
served
on
the
boston
police
force
for
30
years
and
in
the
last
three
years
has
been
the
chief
of
police
in
ann
arbor
in
michigan
and
when
he
was
here,
he
served
as
the
bureau
chief
and
a
superintendent
for
the
bureau
of
professional
development.
Just
some
of
the
things
that
he's
done
when
he
was.
E
D
So
we're
looking
forward
to
working
with
commissioner
cox,
as
we
really
start
trying
to
get
a
lot
of
the
work
that
we
need
to
get
done
as
the
boards
have
now
been
put
together,
we're
having
these
board
meetings,
we
really
need
to
start
getting
the
show
going
on
some
of
the
ordinance
work
and
the
task
force
recommendations
that,
even
though
they
are
not
on
this,
they
are
still
things
that
we
are
all
committed
to
for
our
community
and
for
our
city
to
move
us
forward,
including
the
discipline
matrix
and
some
of
the
reforms,
as
I
talked
about
so
as
you
all
may
have
seen
if
you've
been
in
our
office
before
today,
or
for
this
summer,
we
this
summer
have
been
participating
in
the
youth
engagement,
employment
summer
youth
program.
D
So
we
have
two
youths
that
are
here
so
starting
in
june.
We
welcome
two
of
our
youth.
They
can
start
coming
on
up
and
so
they've
been
helping
to
really
build
some
foundational
work
for
us,
as
we
start
to
lay
down
the
foundation
for
our
youth
advisory
council,
something
I've
been
talking
about
for
a
long
time.
We
really
want
to
keep
the
engagement
of
our
youth.
We
had
the
marches
in
2020
and
trying
to
come
up
with.
How
do
we
say
this?
D
You
know
we're
not
in
the
streets
anymore,
but
our
feet
are
still
moving.
The
work
that
you
all
are
doing
is
really
keeping
our
feet
moving.
So,
throughout
the
summer
we've
had
people
come
in
to
talk
to
a
lot
of
our
youth.
So
they've
been
doing
a
lot
of
work
here
so
working
on
the
broad
structures
that
give
a
bit
investigative
procedures
working
with
our
regulatory
team.
A
D
On
the
civic
world
and
really
just
engage
in
them
and
welcome
them
and
part
of
our
world,
so
I
wanted
to
introduce
both
of
them
to
you
and
let
them
tell
you
a
little
bit
about
what
they're
learning
is
good
for
adults
to
talk.
But,
as
I
said,
I
want
them
to
have
the
table
themselves.
D
D
E
B
B
F
D
D
That's
our
future
and
they've
been
really
really
good,
so
we
also
have
so
we
should
have
the
yak
program
up
this.
This
fall
as
well
the
youth
advisory
council
and
our
mission
statement.
So
next
week,
next
friday,
I
don't
know
if
we
finalize
everything
yet,
but
if
you
haven't
yet
you
should
receive
an
email
just
inviting
you
to
come
in
because
it's
their
last
week
they
throw
this
so
long,
but
they're
they're
leaving
us
to
go
back
to
school.
D
I
guess
we
have
to
give
them
back
the
bps,
but
we're
gonna
just
do
a
send
off
and
they'll
give
you
a
draft
of
what
the
mission
statement
will
be
so
it'd
be
great
for
you
all
to
hear
what
your
younger
counterparts
will
be
working
on
as
this
the
fall
begins.
D
So
moving
on
to
our
annual
report
to
do
semi-annual
report
now
on
annual
report,
we
submitted
that
on
august
4th
it's
inside
of
your
package.
Please
take
that
with
you
today
from
some
of
the
highlights
that
we
have
to
do.
We
want
to
talk
about
so
the
report
has
to
go
to
the
mayor,
the
boston
police
department
and
the
city
council,
so
that
was
submitted
on
august
4th.
It's
also
available
for
public
viewing
on
our
website,
and
so
we
really
wanted
to
focus
on
what
we've
done
in
the
last
year.
D
So
focusing
on
the
growth
of
our
staff,
you
all
the
nomination
of
the
boards
and
the
recent
impacts
of
bpd's
policies
and
provide
a
grant,
as
we
look
ahead
on
what
we're
looking
at
to
do
in
the
work
as
a
whole
at
opec
and
again
really
just
what
does
it
look
like
to
keep
our
feet
moving
and
having
the
work
go
on,
and
so
a
lot
of
that
is
bringing
the
community
back
into
the
fold.
So
I
think
a
lot
of
the
time.
D
What
we
found
is
that
the
matches
are
over
and
people
are
like
what
are
you
all
doing
now
and
we
need
people
to
know
that
we
exist
and
where
we
exist
and
what
we
can
do
and
what
we
need
from
them.
So
we
are
doing
a
lot
of
work
to
try
to
get
to
get
to
know.
D
Opat
work,
we'll
figure
out
we're
going
to
do
some
listening
sessions
with
some
other
departments,
so
they
know
who
we
are
and
how
we
can
be
of
service
not
just
for
police
misconduct,
misconduct,
but
also
what
policies
and
procedures
that
are
currently
impacting
them
that
they
can
have
a
voice
in
and
so
that
we
can
just
do
better
as
a
whole
of
bridging
the
gaps
between
the
police
and
our
community
to
really
work
on
strengthening
that
relationship
and
building
that
relationship.
D
And
so,
although
not
mandated
by
all
this
or
pat,
knows
that
we
have
an
obligation
to.
You
know
really
impact
our
community
in
other
ways
and
that's
again
how
we
have
the
youth
coming
in.
Nothing
in
our
ordinance
says
that
we
have
to
do
anything
with
youth,
but
we
know
that
we
need
to
do
it.
That's
why
we
have
the
year-long
internship
and
we're
paying
them,
because
we
want
to
make
sure
that
we
touch
on
areas
that
we
can
so
dealing
with
a
dollar
wealth,
gas
and
20
to
247.
D
That's
how
we
deal
with
it
by
making
sure
that
we
give
real
life
skills
when
people
leave
here
that
they
have.
The
skill
sets
to
move
on
and
have
a
good
resume,
and
so
we
will
be
asking
for
our
board
members
to
help
us
identify
those
who
should
be
a
part
of
our
youth
advisory
council,
those
who
should
be
working
with
us
as
high
school
or
college
students.
D
So
please
help
us
do
that
and
we're
still
hiring,
but
we
do
have
some
new
members
of
our
staff
that
I
want
to
introduce
you
to
so
last
month
we
welcomed
two
new
members,
mariah
and
india.
Mariah
is
our
new
key
part
of
our
exact
team
she's,
also
our
new
policy
and
data
analyst,
which
was
something
big
that
we
needed
to
have.
We
have
a
lot
of
policy
work
and
data
that
we're
working
on.
D
So
you
may
hear
from
mariah
moore
when
she
starts
pulling
things
together,
we're
currently
working
on
cadet,
stuff
too,
and
then
india,
india,
is
our
newest
intake,
specialist,
so
part
of
john's
team
with
the
investigators
and
intake
workers
where
we're
really
doing
a
lot
more
work
and
she's
been.
You
know
such
a
great
health
and
joy
to
have
so.
D
We
again
are
going
to
have
a
community
mediator
and
some
more
interns,
hopefully
starting
this
fall,
and
because
we
believe
in
being
good
community
partners,
if
you,
when
you
walked
in
you
saw
that
we
are
also
giving
out
covet
home
test
kits
now,
so
we're
a
distributor
of
that
since
we're
right
in
the
center
of
the
city
and
nubian
square.
C
Okay,
I
want
to
welcome
jesse
fema.
E
C
Fenwa,
would
you
introduce
yourself
what's
your
name
and
what
kind
of
work
you
do.
E
A
Okay,
so
for
an
executive
question,
because
you
will
be
discussing.
A
C
Okay,
in
that
case,
I
would
at
this
point,
close
the
public
meeting
and
take
a
vote
on
going
into
executive
meetings.
