A
A
We're
going
to
do
these
awards
here
in
a
second.
I
just
want
to
thank
the
man
for
coming
out
tonight
in
being
a
part
of
our
community,
our
elected
officials,
our
command
staff.
I
want
to
thank
everyone
for
coming
out
and
being
a
part
of
this
wonderful
event.
Mostly,
I
want
to
thank
all
of
you
for
coming
here
and
being
a
part
of
your
community
police
department
here
at
district
11..
A
So
I
applaud
all
of
you
for
being
here
and
being
a
part
of
this,
and
thank
you
you
know
to
me
when
national
night
out
means
it's
a
celebration
of
what
I
see
our
officers
out
there
doing
every
day
you
know
it's
a
celebration
of
our
offices
being
out
there
working
with
the
community,
collaborating
with
the
community
and
being
a
part
of
the
community
and
tonight's,
a
celebration
of
that.
So
I
I
want
to
honor
it
and
thank
our
officers
here
at
district
11
as
well.
A
So
so
thank
you
so
before
we
have
our
official
speak,
we're
going
to
do
a
couple
of.
C
A
I
want
to
thank
my
community
service
sergeant,
timmy
golden
and
his
staff
for
putting
this
together.
So
if
we
can
have
up
here,
first
brother,
marcus
lewis,.
A
So
brother,
marcus
lewis
is
being
presented.
The
neighborhood
watch
unit
award
for
national
night
out
for
2022.
This
is
community
service
award.
A
So
I'm
going
to
read
this
c11
brother,
marcus
lewis,
the
vip
initiative
from
the
bowdoin
street
health
center.
Marcus
lewis
has
partnered
with
area
c11
in
every
way
possible.
He
is
a
friend
to
everyone,
a
crime
fighter,
a
peacemaker,
a
community
activist,
a
food
source,
a
party
planner,
a
popcorn
maker
and
a
music
entertainer.
A
Marcus
first
came
to
work
with
the
area
c11
from
his
role
in
the
vip
initiative
run
out
of
the
bowdoin
street
health
center.
Marcus
took
this
program
to
another
level
partnering
with
area
c11,
to
throw
block
block
parties
on
every
street
corner.
He
could
he
brings
his
dj
equipment.
He
gets
everybody
out
on
the
dance
floor.
Not
me.
A
His
boater
street
11,
I'm
sorry
his
body
street
striders
group,
consisting
of
all
the
people
from
the
neighborhood,
an
area
c-11
community
service
officers
walking
throughout
the
neighborhood.
Every
thursday
night
has
open
lines
of
communication
between
these
groups
where
neighborhood
walkers
report
issues
to
the
offices
as
they
walk
throughout
our
neighborhood
marcus
is
a
true
believer
that
there
should
be
peace
in
the
bowdoin
street
neighborhood.
But
when
tragedy
strikes,
he
is
the
first
to
reach
out
to
us
in
the
boston
police
department
and
that's
where
he
can
find
the
people
that
need
trauma.
A
Support
one
of
marcus's
proudest
accomplishments
is
the
peace
garden.
He
created
with
the
neighborhood
in
bpd
at
stonehurst
and
norton
street
marcus
has
turned
the
trouble
spot
into
a
positive
place,
for
our
residents
to
reflect
marcus
is
instrumental
in
making
sure
families
in
the
neighborhood
get
food,
health
care
and
so
much
more
by
tapping
into
any
other
resource
he
can
marcus
is
a
fixture
in
the
bowdoin
geneva
neighborhood
he's
assisted
area
c11
in
reducing
crime
in
this
neighborhood
and
making
it
a
safer
place
to
live
through
all
he
does
for
our
community
area.
A
A
Can
I
have
up
next
candace
garland,
her
group
from
the
all
door,
chester,
sports.
B
A
B
A
We
have
another
presentation,
we'd
like
to
hand
out
to
candice
gartley
and
her
team
from
the
old
dorchester
sports
and
leadership
team.
A
A
The
park
is
surrounded
by
businesses
in
mostly
residential
apartments,
apartments
and
homes
that
are
teaming
with
little
people
and
families
itching
to
go
outside
and
enjoy
them
and
play
and
have
fun
in
this
beautiful
park.
Townfield
hosts
all
the
many
people,
cultures,
races,
ethnicities,
ages
and
different
experiences
of
life
lived
in
this
amazingly
culture.
A
A
We
have
to
be
the
answers
our
community
needs
by
thinking
out
of
the
box
and
finding
and
meeting
people
where
they
are
the
adsl
team
doesn't
stop
there.
The
camp
ends
each
day
around
4
pm
the
little
kids
head
home
with
their
families
after
enjoying
a
fun
day
at
camp
and
the
park
is
immediately
put
back
into
action.
A
Adsl
is
teamed
up
with
basketball,
coach
legends,
nugget,
founder
of
the
beantown
slam
and
the
super
legend
al
skye,
mclean
founder
of
battle
new
england
basketball
there
he
is
with
evening
basketball
practices,
games,
tournaments
and
crowds
of
community
spec
tables.
All
you
do
at
the
do
is
see
during
a
game.
It
is
packed
up
there.
These
efforts
in
the
evening
and
weekends
alone
help
to
prevent
incidents
of
violence,
create
environments
for
the
mentoring
of
life.
A
A
These
organizations,
district,
c11
and
adsl.
All
working
together
each
day
and
evening
have
undoubtedly
helped
promote
violence,
prevention,
community
relations,
building
health
as
well.
Fitness
instruction
family
and
youth
support
and
has
become
a
general
training
ground
for
mentoring,
kids
into
future
leaders
with
loving
community.
A
B
D
Good
evening,
everyone
thank
you
so
much
to
all
of
our
community
members
and
thank
you
especially
to
our
honorees
tonight,
for
all
that
you
do
for
the
community.
We're
proud
to
be
back
we're
proud
to
show
you
a
little
bit
of
all
of
the
incredible
teamwork
and
hard
work
that
goes
into
keeping
our
neighborhood
safe
and
healthy
and
supported.
So
I'm
honored
to
work
with
all
of
these
folks
up
here
from
our
boston
police
department
and
the
command
staff
and
district
officers
and
captain
to
fire
ems
community
engagement.
All
of
our
city
team
members.

in
god's
country
back
home
in
dorchester
great
way
to
end
two
wonderful
nights
in
the

I
do
want
to
shadow
candace
adsl,
the
fields
quarter,

little
saigon,

doing
a

your

with
this
taekwondo
group.
