D
D
You're,
not
I'm,
happy
and
all
of
us
in
this
field
know
somebody
that's
struggling
with
addiction
to
thank.
You
represent
oh
and
I'd
like
to
thank
Jeffrey
it
Israel
as
chairman
to
raise.
It
means
we
should
one
of
the
things
that
we
with
shortchange.
The
last
four
years
of
the
city
was
was
a
charter.
D
School
funding
and
Jeffrey's
leadership
was
able
to
get
us
additional
nine
million
dollars
so
that
money
is
already
able
to
reinvest
back
in
our
schools
and
I
want
to
thank
the
chairman
for
that
support,
because
that's
something
we
were
talking
about
a
long
time.
So
thank
you
to
that
represent
us.
You
all
great
work
and
I
also
want
to
pay
Monsignor
Kelly.
To
do
that
today
we
won't
see
you
play
for
us.
D
Where's
Monsignor,
Kelly's
around
somewhere
Thank
You
Marcia
yep
tonight
is
national
night
out
tonight
is
all
about
a
celebration,
a
celebration
of
community
service,
a
celebration
of
our
police
and
our
Public
Safety,
and
the
celebration
of
the
community
and
working
together
and
this
year
in
area
D
fire
I
just
want
to
read
some
crime
stats
so
far
this
year,
and
this
is
really
when
you
think
about
the
what's
happened
in
this
area.
It
takes.
It
takes
a
village.
Quite
honestly,
it
takes
a
community,
it
takes
civic
associations,
it
takes
organizations
top
1
crimes.
D
We
5
a
down
20%,
residential
and
Bert
burglary
is
about
34%.
Auto
thefts
are
down
to
83
percent
and
homicides
with
zero.
So
how
about
you
in
this
neighborhood
around
an
icon
for
the
great
work
at
your
garden?
I
want
to
thank
you
for
that.
I
also
want
to
just
give
you
a
couple
updates
are
coming
on
this
year.
This
lists
in
the
next
two
weeks,
ie
five
Cs,
seven
council
e
house
had
an
annual
softball
game
with
your
honor
burger.
D
As
you
know,
the
library
received
their
funding
with
the
help
of
the
Friends
of
Rossi
library.
Take
your
friends.
Allow
the
library
wave
ever
get
the
money
in
there
with
the
help
of
director
officials
working
together.
We
also
want
out.
We
continue.
I
want
to
thank
you
for
the
continued
successful
rather
than
bustling
before
ourselves.
I
know
that
we
that's
ongoing
in
the
traffic
concerns
an
intersection
American
Legion
Cummings
highway.
D
We
had
a
lot
of
action,
see
a
gene
offender,
a
Transportation
Commission,
to
see
we're
going
to
work
to
make
sure
that
we
continue
to
stay
on
top
of
those
issues
to
make
sure
we
reduce
some
of
the
impacts
and
I
want
to
thank
the
community
for
all
your
involvement.
Today,
I
have
the
grade
on
and
out
of
introducing
our
new
Police
Commission
the
42nd
place
to
make
sure
in
the
history
of
Boston
and
before
I.
D
Do
that
I
just
want
to
take
one
minute
to
thank
Commissioner,
Billy
Evans,
who
did
an
amazing
job
in
the
city
of
Boston
him
achieve
class
at
the
time.
Yes,
to
make
sure
that
everything
we
do
to
make
sure
washwomen
safety
and
we
were
recognized
by
President
Obama
as
a
national
model
in
community
policing,
Boston
Massachusetts
wasn't
and
we're
excited
about
that
and
with
Commissioner
Evans
retired.
D
A
few
weeks
ago,
I
had
a
conversation
on
my
front
porch
of
Commissioner
with
chief
grants
at
the
time,
and
we
talked
about
the
idea
of
him
taking
over
his
commission.
We
talked
about
him,
continuing
traditions
and
also
taking
out
Police
Department
to
the
next
level
and
I'm
so
grateful
that
he
agreed
to
do
that.
D
And
today
we
had
a
beautiful
ceremony
at
Morningside,
Baptist
Church,
where
we
had
a
chance
to
swear
him
in
as
the
new
commissioner
and
what
I
said
earlier
today
was
when
you
think
about
those
of
you
that
don't
know
cheatgrass,
you
just
have
to
look
at
his
face
and
see
his
smile.
That's
who
he
is.
He
loves
this
city.
He
loves
the
kids
in
the
city,
his
job,
and
he
knows
what
his
job
is.
D
E
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
Thank
you,
I'm
honored,
to
serve
in
this
capacity
as
the
42nd
Police
Commissioner,
like
I,
stated
in
the
church
today.
God
is
first
and
foremost,
but
the
community
help
my
mother
raised
me.
I
never
forgot
where
I
came
from,
and
this
is
my
34
that's
35th
year
in
policing
in
33
and
uniform,
or
it
was
now
I
have
to
find
some
civilian
clothes.
The
waiter
and
I
short
there
take
him
from
Commissioner
Evans
I
have
to
go
back
to
Ed
Davis,
but
what
hey
he's
a
big
guy,
too
cut
it
out.
E
Sup
with
the
with
the
with
the
mere
just
said,
really
resonates.
We're
not
going
to
rest
on
our
laurels.
We
have
one
of
the
best
community
policing
models
in
the
country
and
community
policing
means
all
of
us
working
together
for
us
collaboratively
Roslindale.
You
have
a
great
reputation.
You
look
out
for
each
other.
National
night
is
about
you
a
celebration
of
what
you
do.
E
And
you've
heard
them
air
liquide,
Rusia
elected
officials
will
never
forget
them
as
well,
but
the
people
that
serve
for
years
and
years
that
have
our
back
like
district
attorney
Conley.
You
like
the
fake
we're,
always
issuing
that
stuff
coming
who's
at
the
forefront
of
justice
and
also
chief
green,
where
you're
at
she
doesn't
like
brother.
E
But
again,
thank
you.
Thank
you.
Thank
you,
and
the
men
and
women
of
the
Boston
Police
Department
are
dedicated
to
being
service
to
you.
Just
like
your
great
Community
Service
officers
right
over
here,
come
on
up
I'm,
being
shy,
look
at
this
man,
sighs,
it'll,
narrow
and
does
the
world
for
the
Boston
Police
Department.
E
A
B
E
B
F
G
Am
honored
to
represent
wrong
village
Main
Street!
Thank
you.
So
much
to
e5,
you
guys
are
wonderful,
especially
you've
started
about
Merrill
you're
awesome
positive
on
Main
Street
is
nothing
without
the
work
of
volunteers.
I
am
just
representing
the
hundreds
of
hours
put
into
the
farmers
market.
All
of
the
events
that
we
do
are
because
of
residents
and
business
owners
that
take
pride
in
living
and
working
here
and
thank
you
and
enjoy
the
night.
H
Thank
you
very
much
for
that
nice
introduction.
It's
really
my
honor
and
privilege
to
say
a
couple
of
words
today
really
a
gratitude
and
thank
you,
I
think
it's.
The
mayor
alluded
to
I'm,
not
gonna
seek
reelection
this
year,
but
after
25
years
of
25
of
these
National
Night
Out
events.
This
will
be
the
last
time
as
an
elected
official,
a
member
of
law
enforcement,
so
I
just
wanted
to
say
a
special
thank
you
to
rosin
Dale
village.
You
know
those
words
have
said
a
lot.
It
takes
a
village.
H
Well,
this
is
my
village
right
here,
the
village
that
I
adopted
in
1993
when
I
became
your
City
Council,
followed
Tom,
Menino
and
the
village
enough
that
you're
privileged
to
represent
the
drug
district
attorney.
You
know
Glen
alluded
to
it,
who
would
have
thought
that
there
be
five
or
six
restaurants
down
here
that
you
couldn't
get
into
one
a
Wednesday
night,
and
that
happened
to
me
by
the
way
of
my
birthday
a
couple
weeks
ago.
It's
so
crowded
down
yet
and
why?
Why?
H
Because
it's
safe,
that's
the
first
and
fundamental
responsibility
of
government
and
when
we
all
work
together.
Community
groups,
police
and
prosecutors
to
make
our
communities
safe.
You
know
it's,
it's
limitless
what
we
can
do
we're
thriving
as
a
city,
one
of
the
sabres
big
cities
in
America,
and
we
have
you
folks
to
thank
for
working
with
us.
So
thank
you
very
much.
It's
been
a
great
run
and
a
great
privilege
to
serve
you
Father
best.
B
What
I
will
say
this
and
you
can
see,
we
have
the
collection
here
and
we
have
community
here.
If
you
look
around,
you
see
every
size
shape,
color
and
gender
in
the
group
inside
as
our
differences
to
our
strengths,
and
if
we
take
care
of
one
another,
we
should
be
fine.
As
the
mayor
mentioned,
crime
is
going
down,
arrests
is
going
down,
but
what
we
have
to
do
is
the
community
is
band
together
to
fight
two
things:
homelessness
situation
and
the
opiate
scourge
that
we.
B
B
Just
begun,
we've
had
a
whole
suite
both
performances
coming
up
for
you.
In
fact,
my
and
they're
a
martial
arts
association
that
have
started
for
the
couple
minutes.
I
think
the
reason
bit
of
self
here
to
move
and
get
down
with
a
big
demonstration
sit
back
and
relax
will
be
trivial
testimony.
Thank
you
very
much
from
Marvin
Gaye
appreciate
moon.
