These
lights
are
bright,
how's,
everyone
doing
all
right,
so
I
know
you
all
have
been
patiently
waiting
and
you
guys
have
been
sitting
here
in
a
great
crowd.
I
hope
you
guys
enjoyed
the
entertainment
that
we
put
on
for
you
tonight
before
I
give
out
our
awards.
I
would
like
for
all
of
the
Boston
police
area,
b3
community
service
personnel.
B
C
C
D
C
B
All
right
we're
gonna,
get
started,
even
though
the
hard-headed
people
haven't
made
it
to
the
stage
yet
so
for
those
of
you
who
continuously
come
to
support
us
every
year
at
our
National
Night
Out,
you
guys
know
that
in
our
community
service
office
we
sit,
and
we
take
the
time
to
think
about
all
the
things
that
our
community
groups
have
done
throughout
the
year.
We
pick
out
certain
people
and
we
like
to
give
thanks
to
certain
people
who
have
gone
above
and
beyond
what
we
like
to
hear
get
closer.

The
Harvard
Washington
Neighborhood
Association
has
done
a
great
job,
pulling
together
the
community
and
efforts
to
bring
forth
change
in
the
Dorchester
area.
The
Neighborhood
Association
has
been
successful
in
reclaiming
the
Ripley
playground
back
for
the
youth
to
the
communities
to
say
play
safely
in
the
park.
For
those
reasons
and
more,
we
would
like
to
name
the
Harvard
Washington
Neighborhood
Association,
the
winner
of
the
b3
2019
crime
watch
group,
Service
Award,
and
they
are
on
stage
with
us.
C
F
The
noisiest
one
in
our
group-
yes
I-
want
to
thank
b3
and
for
honoring
us
I
want
to
thank
all
my
neighborhood
members
and
the
greater
four
corners
Action
Coalition
for
supporting
us
and
being
there
with
us
and
for
us
and
I'm
glad
to
be
in
this
great
city.
I
may
be
from
Dorchester,
but
wearing
B
threes.
District,
give
it
up.

Through
her
collaboration
with
mass
housing,
Reverend
Kwaku
has
succeeded
in
bringing
the
fresh
food
truck
to
Mattapan.
She
has
participated
in
countless
community
peace
walks
and
productive
outreach
ministries.
She
also
spearheaded
a
mentoring
program
for
young
women
at
the
church.
Reverend
Kwaku
has
partnered
with
the
Boston
Police
Department
in
Operation
Homefront
efforts.
She
tires
lead
or
Knox
throughout
the
entire
year
to
ensure
that
residents
are
aware
of
happenings
in
the
community.
She
is
also
a
valued
member
of
the
Boston
trauma
response
team.
We
are
honored
to
have
Reverend
Roxie
kwaku
in
our
community.
G
G
G
Hello,
everybody
and
thank
you
b3
and
Cynthia,
say
I've
known
her
for
27
years.
I,
don't
know
that
how
that's
possible
I'm
only
25,
but
you
know
first
I
give
honor
to
God
who's
the
head
of
my
life
and
I.
Thank
him
for
the
work
that
he's
doing
through
me
and
our
neighborhood
in
Dorchester.
Thank
you
to
all
of
you
and
for
those
who
are
giving
me
this
honor.
It's
such
a
pleasure
to
be
a
part
of
the
city
of
Boston
in
general
and
Mattapan
to
do
the
work
that
he's
called
us
to
do.
B
So,
ladies
and
gentlemen,
at
this
time,
I
am
going
to
turn
the
microphone
over
to
Russell
Holmes,
our
state
Rep,
and
once
everybody
has
left
the
stage,
I
would
just
ask
you
to
stay
for
a
few
more
moments.
We
have
a
group
V
360
from
Vine
Street,
Community
Center,
who
has
been
patiently
waiting
to
perform
for
you,
so
please
give
them
the
adjust
due
and
remain
once
we
leave
the
stage.
Thank
you.
Thank.
C
H
Thank
you
represent
of,
let
me
I
know
we
had
a
bigger
crowd
earlier,
I
apologize,
we
started
this
this
journey
and
brightened
tonight
ended
in
Mattapan,
and
we
were
all
over
the
city
in
between
I
want
to
introduce
some
of
you
like
that
officials
that
have
been
with
us
all
night.
We
have
city
councilor,
sabe
Jorge,
with
city
white
councillor,
your
city
concerts
in
Makati
I,
want
to
thank
Timmy
autistic
attorney.
H
Rachel
Rawlings
been
with
us
a
Police
Commission
who's
celebrating
one
year
on
the
job
I
think
it's
tomorrow,
but
today,
commissioner
grass
I
want
to
thank
State,
Representative,
Raul,
Holmes
and
I'm.
Just
I
want
to
take
the
beach
free
offices.
I
want
to
thank
the
community
service
offices
and
I
want
to
thank
all
of
the
offices
there.
Let
me
just
be
clear:
I'm
not
gonna,
go
into
my
regular
speech,
but
I
want
to
say
for
the
last
couple
of
weeks,
there's
been
a
lot
of
discussion
about
what's
happening
going
on
in
Mattapan.
H
I
want
to
be
very
clear.
This
is
an
incredible
neighborhood,
with
incredible
people
with
incredible
civic
associations.
We
should
be
proud
of
who
we
are
and
where
we're
from
and
we're
not
we're
gonna
make
sure
to
tell
people
the
greatness
about
this.
Neighborhood
Mattapan
is
a
great
neighborhood.
The
United
States
of
America,
because
of
the
great
people
that
live
in
it
and
I
want
you
to
know
that,
on
behalf
of
myself
and
all
the
elected
officials,
we're
gonna
continue
to
work.
Hard
continue
to
do
everything
we
can
we're
in
the
midst
of
a
master
plan.
H
C
To
the
mayor's
point,
you
guys
see
the
billboard
over
there
I'm
giving
them
a
shout
out
right
now.
His
plan
Matapan,
we
as
a
neighborhood,
hit
the
plan
and
make
a
decision
about
what
our
neighborhood
looks
like
and
let
us
make
sure
that
you
incorporate
yourselves
into
that
discussion,
because
there
are,
as
the
mayor
said,
many
things
from
the
federal
city
and
state
level
happening
and
that's
one
of
the
ways
they're
going
to
have
an
input.
So
my
next
brief
speech
is
our
Commissioner
Commissioner
gross.
H
I
All
right,
Matt,
ofin,
hey!
Thank
you,
everyone
for
coming
to
National,
Night
Out.
You
know
what
I've
been
seeing
this
all
night.
National
Night
Out
is
just
symbolic
of
what
we
do
each
and
every
day
and
one
of
our
strongest
communities
is
Matapan.
I'm
telling
you
right
now
so
check
this
out.
This
morning
this
morning,
I
was
interviewed
in
Mattapan
square.
Something
called
zip
trip
and
they're
like
what
about
Matapan
I'm
like
Matapan,
is
great,
don't
don't
let
the
one
or
two
individuals
that
are
doing
the
wrong
things
paint
a
picture
for
Matapan.
I
I
And
thank
God
for
our
mayor,
our
DA,
our
elected
officials,
because
we
have
your
back.
You
know
how
tough,
that
is
to
say
about
elected
officials.
Our
elected
officials
and
Boston
really
do
care.
You
see
us
out
on
the
streets
all
the
time
you
care
about
your
future
and
jeffing
that
we
definitely
care
about
your
reputation.
C
All
right,
I
also
want
us
to
just
give
a
hand
to
all
of
the
vendors
today
from
the
food.
If
you
think
about
kneecap,
for
what
they
did
follow
the
hotdogs
are
the
ice
cream
and
then
even
Paula
Campbell
made
sure
she
was
very
persistent
to
make
sure
we
had
horses
of
pony
rides
and
all
of
the
bouncy
houses.
All
those
things
were
just
so
important.
My
final
short
speech
is
our
district
attorney
Rachel
Rollins.
J
Hi
everybody
I
want
to
let
you
know
what
I
wrote
on
the
board
over
there
when
it
asks.
What
do
you
like
about
Matapan
I
wrote
everything,
because
it's
true
and
we
have
been
to
six
different
places
tonight
and
there
is
hands-down
no
comparison.
This
is
by
far
the
most
positive
outcome,
the
most
people
here,
so
you
should
be
really
proud
of
yourself
to
piggyback
on
what
the
mayor
said.
J
I
really
hope
the
media's
here,
because
this
is
what
Matapan
is
about-
not
the
negative
things
that
we
occasionally
see
or
the
violence
overwhelmingly
95,
plus
percent
of
the
things
that
happen
here
are
outstanding
and
there's
you're
a
vibrant
community,
we're
proud
to
serve.
You
I'm
excited
to
be
your
district
attorney
and
to
be
an
option
not
just
for
prosecution,
but
we
are
a
300
plus
person,
job
opportunity.
J
C
Know
we've
talked
a
lot
about
the
police
tonight
and
I
want
to
just
give
a
special
shout
out
also
Commissioner
Hui,
because
of
the
fact
that
when
we
dial
nine-one-one,
we
expect
folks
to
show
up
immediately
and
make
sure
that
we're
well
taken
care
of
is
that
Bastion
can
I
see.
Is
that
her
all
right
come
on
up
here?
Norma,
let's
give
a
shout
out
to
Nora.
C
All
right,
we're
gonna,
have
her
actually
say
a
couple
words
about
what
it
is.
She
does
that
this
is
all
about
community
and
then
V
360
is
gonna
perform
like
I
know,
we've
been
here
very
long
tonight,
but
over
in
the
grass.
Let
us
make
sure
that
we'd
be
very
supportive
of
them
tonight
because
of
the
fact
that
they
they
are
here
to
perform
so
Nora
you're,
ready,
you're,
gonna,
say
a
couple
words
tell
us
what
you
do
absolutely.
E
Good
evening
you
guys
good
evening
and
thank
you
guys
for
waiting
so
long
for
us,
but
this
night
is
about
you
guys
in
us
in
our
relationship.
As
you
know,
we've
been
building
us
for
many
many
years.
Building
trust
does
not
happen
overnight
and
it
happens
because
of
all
you
guys
believe
in
us
and
work
with
us
and
allow
us
to
get
us
to
know
you
and
your
kids
and
build
relationships
so
I'm
just
so
grateful
that
the
mayor
commissioner
garage
da
Rawlings,
all
the
city
councilors.
E
C
All
right
that
ends
all
speaking
program
for
this
evening.
So
again,
let
us
all
kind
of
congregate
congregate
over
there,
3
3
B
6
to
3
6.
They
are
you
ready.
Are
you
ready
all
right,
they're
over
in
the
grass?
Let
us
let
us
go
and
and
and
watch
them
perform.
Thank
everyone
for
coming
out
this
evening.
