Join PAL and Mayor Walsh as they hand out new sports equipment donated by the Goodsports Foundation and Blue Hills Bank to the Dorchester Eagles youth football program. PAL recently received a grant from the Goodsports Foundation that will allow them to order new youth sports equipment three times per year. PAL is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to the positive development of Boston youth, where police officers and young people participate in athletic, social, and educational activities together.

So, thank you all for coming. Nicky Mayer, Thank You, commissioner. We are so excited to be here. Good sports be able to make this donation. Something just will give you a lot more information about good sports. We have donated more than 20 million dollars worth of equipment and impacted more than 5 million kids since inception in 2003. Yes, we have made donations in all 50 states and have impacted more than 3700 organizations across the United States. This donation today would not be possible without blue hills. Bank this year, so it's a new, relatively new partnership. We are very excited about it. Sensa star of our partnership. We've had five volunteer events at our field house with Boyles bank employees that have helped pack donations, I've gone across the united states, so we are very excited about the future, with blue hills, bank increasing our impact in eastern massachusetts. Oh thank you so much. I also like to thank Brian with Boston pal Ross and pals been a recent recipient of our equipment grant evident of today.

We are very excited about this relationship and the impact that we will now have in Boston. Good sports mission is to get all kids in the game and with us really ship I know we'll get all Boston youth in the game. So thank you so much for that. I would also like to thank Terry and Dorchester Pop Warner for hosting this unveiling event.

Kelsey, how we doing guys girls yeah you ready to play some ball this season, yeah, you guys gonna, be good yeah with this equipment. You guys will be outstanding. Some good stuff here. Well we're just happy to give you the chance to have some great equipment here, partner with good sports partner, with Boston Police Athletic League, and really put you in a position to have some fun and really enjoy the season. So good luck, yeah and play good sportsmanship, and we look forward to watching you play on the field.

I'd like to thank everybody as well, the Boston police activities League fosters a trust, trust in Jesus, the Boston Police activities, Foster's trust amongst the community and the Boston Police Department, and its defense like this- that do that. So we're very happy to be here. I would like to also thank Blue Hills Bank and the good Sports Foundation, and today we are very happy to be serving our nationally ranked Dorchester Eagles.

How's everyone doing today, let me just say a few Thank you Thank You Kelsey. Thank you and thank you for your help here today and I want to thank the good Sports Foundation, how about a round of applause because they brought all this I want to thank Hill, Bank who's, a supporter here in the city of Boston and the support of the Eagles. Thank you Bill for all your work as well. The Police Athletic League. Thank you for the board members that are here, commissioner. The new commissioner of the Boston Police Department.

Outside walking in- and he was a little nervous about coming in today- because he used to play for the Raiders and the Eagles running around then he's lucky. An Eagles running around.

Want a date I want to date the Commissioner, because the beauty about Commission he played Pop Warner football he's from the neighborhood. He grew up like you, he went on. He became a cadet in the police department, police officer now he's the whole he's the boss to the police department. So thank you for that. We're also joined by a couple elected officials with us today.

There's a guy behind me he's a state representative and he sits in the Chia that I used to sit in when I was a state Rep and he's a state rep for this neighborhood representing Danny colony.

And we're also joined today by the sheriff of Suffolk County and he's a guy his job. His job is to to make sure if, when people go into the house of Corrections, his job is to make sure when they leave there, that better than went in and he's done an incredible job and he lives across the way in High Park and that Sheriff Steve Tompkins.

But I just wanna, we just want to say thank you to all the people here today. Thank you to all the football players here today. You know today's a nice day you get all the equipment. I just want you to know that people care about you, people care about this league people care about the players and this team, whether you win or lose. They want you to have a good time. They want you to look good.

So when you play those suburban teams, you're gonna look shop but also just have fun, have fun and for as much practice as you put into yeah into your football make sure school starts. Some of you started school already: who's out of school, already, alright who's starting school next week. Everyone else next week! Well, you got to make sure well you're gonna. Make sure is that you study and you practice the school as high as your practice on the football field. Alright have a good day go. He goes.

No I'm proud of everybody here: can we give a hand to the parents? Please.

Here's why we're giving a hand to the coaches? They reinforce what the parents do at home. They protect you, the Prudential, protect you at home, the coaches protect you on the field and they instill the same morals and values right. So we have a lot of people to think, but before we start thinking them, the people I'm going to mention they love you. We want you to be the Future Leaders. We just left the Shelburne Center the same message right just because of what you look like, where you are, what neighborhood you from don't?

Let anybody tell you that you're less than valuable. You are kings and you're Queens we're here to make sure that you know that and that you never forget it, and that one day you'll be a great one like Mayor Walsh right or like the coaches or like somebody from the PAL program, the Boston Police, Athletic and activities fun Khaleel.

This young man started off just like you did and he's one of the most successful businessmen in the country. Yeah, yes, and then you have chip chip same thing. Everybody cares about you through pal, through the Boston police, to the city of Boston Brian. Thank you, Blue Hills banks, not blue. All that Bank Blue, Hose, bang, all right, don't get that twisted we're all here and we care about you from the commissioner state rap to the sheriff Peter I. Finally, forget you, my brother, but it's all about you.

It's high time that we let everybody know that the city of Boston is about everybody everybody here and that the city of Boston is about the youth first because they're our future. So thank you. Thank you. Thank you, good sports. You know this isn't handed down equipment. This is an equipment handed to you like. Oh it's leftovers. This is all brand-new top-of-the-line equipment for the best in the country. The nationally recognized.

And today we just want to make sure we just recognize a few guys that shakers and movers in in the city of Boston want to make them honorary coaches for today and every other day. So let's get.
