Or

I'll
also
address.
Some
of
the
points
that
we
carried
forward
from
it
is
this
discussion,
so
the
proposed
substation

is
located
for

in
the
Brighton

of
the
city
of

this

to
service
the
increase
above
requirements
for
portions
of
the
City

Boston
neighborhoods
of
Brighton,
all
student

with
medical.
D
These
neighborhoods,
as
well
as
of
courses
in
Dorchester,
Jamaica,
Plain,
Mission,
Hill,
Roxbury
kenmore
Fenway,
are
currently
service
by
two
other
stations,
one
in
Brighton
station
329
and
one
on
Colman

Station
350,
which
is
near
that
you
make

to
significant
developments
throughout
these
parts
of
the
city.
Station
315
is
needed
to
provide
additional
capacity
and
reliability
to
the
region
in
the
city.

The

already
been
submitted,

H
I
H
It's
going
to
have
kind
of
intersection
space
hand,
holes
drops
that
will
be
able
to
access
in
the
future,
but
this
is
just
that.
Well,
we're
going
down
all
these
streets
and
Brighton
and
they're
going
to
be
repaved
curb
to
curb
that
we
would
have
shadow
available
so
that
we
would
have
to
dig
them
up
immediately
after
the
fact.
But.
D
D
J
I
G
G
G
D
I'm,
sorry,
maybe
I
didn't
make
myself
clear.
Fiber
optic
conduit,
that's
within
the
electrical
bank,
is
strictly
exclusively
and
only
four
evers
MRSA
utilization
for
its
own
control,
circuitry
purposes.
There's
a
supervisory
control
of
that
acquisition
system,
a
SCADA
system,
that's
associated
collection.
J
D
G
G
D
G
G
G
D
H
So
that
it
wasn't
necessarily
the
request
to
put
shadow
in
was
by
the
cities
such
that
we
knew
that
these
streets
were
going
to
be
restored
fully,
and
we
wanted
to
be
able
to
guarantee
connection
for
this
area
I'm.
So
it
was
a
request
by
the
city.
While
they
had
our
streets
open,
not
necessarily
them
trying
to
conform
to
the
shadow
duck
policy.
F

G
E
D
E
Not
scared
of
dogs.
Do
it
there
for
your
use
and
they're
not
going
to
be
empty
because
you're
going
to
be
putting
cabling
in
them
the
skater
system.
Right.
Okay,
that's
that's
dancing
them.
They
don't
have
the
not
empty.
Gary.
Ask
the
questions
in
the
end,
the
other.
The
enemy
took
me
for
the
wires
and
little
warmed
up

and
then
they
won't
be
speed
up.
D
A
H
Rm,
well,
you
will
be
drafted
such
to
say
that
you're
going
to
repave
everything
curb
to
curb
and
reconstruct
all
sidewalks
that
you're
touching.
Unless
we
tell
you
otherwise
and
then,
when
you're
out
there
and
doing
construction,
then
you
can
assess
the
situation,
but
the
agreement
is
going
to
say
everything
gets
repaved
and
all
sidewalks
in
every
building
or.

Mr.

the
Commission
John
law
for
the
mayor's
office
of
neighborhood
services,
I
just
wanted
to
speak
to
the
community
outreach
that
had
resources
engaged
in
every
source
for
the
past
two-plus
years
as
maid
has
kept
the
community
well
aware
of
their
plans
for
the
substation
we've
had
numerous
meetings
where
I
met
an
attendance.
My
predecessors
have
been
in
attendance.
The
company
has
worked
to
provide
off
street
parking
for
contractors
to
mitigate
some
of
the
parking
concerns.
J
The
neighborhood
had
any
construction
mitigation
efforts
that
they
can
engage
in
legal
work
with
the
community
and
myself
to
to
work
on
as
they
come
up.
I
know,
there's
a
24-hour
hotline
that
members
of
the
community
can
call
I'm
always
available,
so
we're
going
to
keep
constant
communication.
We
just
wanted
to
speak
in
support
of
this
Thank.
You
Thank
You.
Mr.
A
Lat,
okay,
obviously
there's
some
concerns
here
with
mr.

making
sure
that
the

mr.

and
mr.

have
looked
at
these

The

I
would
agree
with
this.
Mr.
Shay's
solution,
if
you
will
to
the
duct
issue,
make
sure
that
that
is
all
buttoned
up.
So
I
will
take
a
vote
contingent
on
that.
I'll.

O
Morning,
commissioners,
the
cafe
is
located
alongside
the
exterior
of
the
hotel
on
old
sleeper
Street.
As
you
may
recall,
old
sleeper
Street
was
reviewed
and
approved
by
this
commission
in
2013
for
the
specific
repairs.
This
cafe
has
always
been
considered
in
that
in
this
design
process
in
approval
process,
old
Cypress
Street
is
sort
of
a
pedestrian-friendly
public
way
and
last
fall.
We
also
received
approval
for
a
sidewalk
cafe
for
the
barking
crab
restaurant.
The
application
before
you
is
for
a
total
46
seat.
Restaurant
28
of
those
seats
will
be
within
the
public
way.
O
Then
the
remaining
seats
are
within
private
property.
This
layout
is
a
little
unusual
for
me,
typical
sidewalk,
because
the
dare
the
area
where
the
cafe
is
proposed
is
actually
elevated
from
the
street
about
13
inches.
It's
level
at
northern
ave
as
sleeper
street
drops
down.
The
cafe
area
remains
level
very
similar
to
what
we
see
a
team's
hotel
right
over
right
outside
of
City
Hall.
B
O
There's
a
plush
condition
from
the
public
here
there
is
access
from
within
the
in
the
restaurant
to
the
cafe
again
it's
plush
here
and
at
this
end
we
have
stairs
that
go
down
into
the
public
way.
The
disabilities
commissioners
reviews
is
that
has
reviewed
the
application
is
in

of

B
K
Had
a
number
of
community
meetings
to
go
out
there
and
explain
the
project
and
there
the
community's
aware
of
the
project
and
the
fact
that
it's
a
two-stage
project
and
we've
also
lost
Tuesday.
Two
days
ago
we
sat
down
with
JD
and
we
talked
about
the
project
most
of
the
discussion
centered
around
the
final
bill
condition
and
the
striping
that's
been
a
request
to
put
in
a
bike
lane
vs.
Sharrow.
Is
it's
a
narrow
street?
So
we've
worked
some
of
those
issues.
Oh
well,.
B
That's
that's
fine,
with
the
final
condition
would
give
the
construction
manner
section.
I
get
believe
my
sentence,
stuff
back
to
Zach
developing
some
of
the
school
issues.
We
have
got
two
elementary
schools,
the
area
working,
mastercards,
arrival,
dismissal
and
stuff,
so
I
go
get
some
crosses,
so
I'm.
K
A
K
K
It's
just
to
the
bridge
and
in
the
lower
portion
that
dead-ends
at
the
turn
right
turn
pike.
There
are
no
plans
to
do
that
portion,
although
the
intersection
of
where
it
comes
in
an
effort
street.
On
the
charles
river
side,
we
did
that
intersection
to
try
and
prove
some
of
the
sight
distance
and
there's
been
some
requests
on
the
other
side.
But
the
road
isms,
the
streets
themselves
and
the
sidewalk
snow
is.

my

is

arraign
from
developing
in

of
the
program
that
mark
talked
about.
We
have
before
your
repetitions,
one
for
a
roadway
that
goes
through
the
development.
It's
approximately
a
little
over
seven
hundred
feet
forward
way,
64
right
away
with
12-foot
lanes
both
directions,
parallel
parking
11
for
sidewalks
or
near
the
Sun,
both
sides,
the
new
road-
will
be
lined
with
trees
on
the
on
both
side
and
we're
doing
specific
repair
to
the
parameter
world
ways
that
are
bats:
the
site
on
Washington
Street.
P
We
are
widening
washington
street,
taking
land
from
from
the
frontal
development
to
allow
for
a
on
street
parking
which
currently
doesn't
exist,
and
also
for
a
12-foot
sidewalk
within
within
the
right
of
way.
We're
also
proposing
writing
to
bartlett
street
to
expand
the
existing
sidewalk,
which
is
currently
it's
about
six
feet
wide,
we're
making
it
nine
and
a
half
foot
wide,
which
would
also
allow
trees
along
along
the
the
road
as
well.
P
We're
also
redoing
the
existing
sidewalk
on
gill
street,
not
having
enough
enough
wet
thumbs
guild
we're
just
going
to
rebuild
the
sidewalk
to
the
existing
right-of-way,
which
will
be
a
minimum.
Seven
feet
goes
up
to
about
eight
and
a
half
feet
and
then
we're
also
proposing
trees
at
the
back
side,
walk
on
gilt
as
part
of
the
widening
of
washington
street.
We
have
to
remove
11
trees.
You
know
from
the
where
they
currently
exist
to
Allah
for
the
widening.
We
are
on
the

for
a

hearing.

do
have
something
that
shows
where
your
assessment,
this.
P
Is
the
law
office
to
school
was
proposed
to
be
on
I,
mean
I'm
crystal
working
with
BTD
I'm,
not
privy
to
have
a
discussion
they've
had
with
btv
that
the
United
standing
the
queuing
will
happen
along
the
new
road
into
Bartlett
and
back
into
the
site.
That's
how
the
buses
were.
The
accused
for
the
buses
won't
will
occur,
but
they
are
still
working
with
with
BTD
just.
B
Yet
that
kind
of
concerns
me
that
my
in
the
engineer
that
works
for
me
then
feel
strictly
with
the
charter.
Schools.
Schools
have
not
been
involved
this
plugged
into
this
process
to
know
ciao
that
falls
under
it.
So
for
these
approvals
would
have
to
vent
that
out
charter
school.
What
they're
loading
and
unloading
needs
are
anyways
teacher
parking
and
student
he'll
drop
off
pick
up.
Those
are
all
safety.
Things
are
safe
off
to
school.
B
B
P
E
P
G
P
P
There
is
the
intersection
of
gear
in
Washington.
This
degrades
are
pretty
steep,
so
as
part
of
the
development
for
this
building,
we
have
been
a
small
retaining
wrong.
Currently,
it
will
be
sloped
when
we
build
this
sidewalk,
because
we
both
know
retail
well
on
private
Pyle.
You
know
nuts
within
the
right
way.
L
L
P
We've
been
working
with
with
the
Boston
lights,
we
are
relocating
the
new
poles
on
Washington,
replacing
the
fiction
with
you
know,
within
with
new
pictures.
No
no
bells,
obviously
a
name
fixtures
within
the
new
right
of
way,
I
think
there's
about
six
or
seven
lights,
or
with
relocating
to
the
back
to
the
MU.
L
So,
yes,
we
completed
the
zoning
approval,
we
have
a
PDA.
This
is
a
PDA
site
and
we
have,
we
know,
received
approval
for
that
2013
and
also
the
article
80
large
project
review
for
the
buildings
I
mentioned
in
the
first
phase
was
also
completed,
August
twenty
foot,
so
we
grew
as
I
mentioned.
Two
of
the
buildings
are
very
much
shovel
ready
upon
completion
of
the
river
they're.
B
B
B
A
A
Q
Q
The
existing
canopy
I
hope
you
have
a
chance
to
get
the
plans
open
at
Carl's.
The
display
is
going
to
be
replaced.
It's
probably
not
something
that
you
would
approve
nowadays
if
it
come
before
you
we're
going
to
propose
something
much
smaller
and
we
hope
more
attractive,
mindful
that
normally
we
only
were
only
allowed
to
covered
by
policy
two-thirds
of
the
sidewalk,
but
we're
looking
to
cover
more.
Q
R
Ani,
so
the
existing
awning
is
actually
3049
square
feet.
The
amount
of
area
that
it
takes
up
above
the
sidewalk.
The
new
awning
will
be
reduced
to
687
square
feet
in
designing
yawning
you're,
really
looking
at
the
scale
of
the
building
and
what
sort
of
fit
on
the
scale
of
building,
because
it's
a
large
condominium
building
with
a
parking
garage
that
sort
of
fronts
on
tremont
street.
R
So
in
order
to
address
the
the
scale
of
the
facade,
we're
sort
of
looking
at
a
large
canopy
that
a
chair
said
does
does
slightly
exceed
the
the
two-thirds
mark
as
part
of
the
petition.
We're
also
asking
for
specific
repairs
to
modify
the
curb
at
the
at
the
drop-off
area.
The
ballet
area
in
front
of
the
building.
This
was
something
that
was
modified
in
the
past
and,
as
we
were
looking
for
approval
reviews
brought
to
our
attention
that
there's
about
eight
square
feet
of
that
canopy.
That
was
overhanging
beyond
the
sidewalk.
R
O
F
E
R
G
R
Q
S
Thank
you,
I'm
Charlotte
Fleetwood,
with
the
Boston
Transportation
Department,
and
the
project
is
that
we
call
it
the
Audubon
circle
project,
but
it's
beacon
street
from
st.
Mary's
Street
to
minor
street,
but
that
the
heart
of
the
project
is
really
an
Audubon
circle.
It
was
one
of
three
priority
projects
identified
in
a
transportation
action
plan
from
2009
that
was
funded
by
the
state.
It's
it's
really
a
primarily
a
safety
improvement
project.
The
intersection
of
park
drive
in
Audubon
circle
is
a
pedestrian
crash
hotspot
location.
S
It
also
has
higher
than
average
motor
vehicle
crashes
and
many
of
them
making
left
turns.
It
also
has
many
cyclists
going
down
Beacon
Street,
but
sporadic
bike
lanes.
So
what
we're
planning
to
do
is
to
tighten
up
the
geometry
of
the
circle
by
eliminating
the
slip
lanes,
which
will
dramatically
reduce
crossing
distances
for
pedestrians
will
maintain
the
crossing
islands
so
that
they
only
need
to
cross
two
lanes
at
a
time.
S
This
change,
in
geometry,
allows
us
to
change
the
signal
timing
so
that
the
pedestrians
have
more
time
to
cross
and
that
the
cross
cycle
comes
up.
More
frequently
will
also
have
controlled
left
turns
to
help
reduce
the
motor
vehicle
crashes
and
we'll
have
continuous
bike
lanes
along
this
entire
stretch.
S
The
change
in
the
geometry
creates
some
plaza
space
at
the
intersection
and
so
we're
using
that
plaza
space
for
a
couple
of
things
for
for
place
making
and
then
also
to
have
some
green
infrastructure,
and
this
is
in
fact
one
of
three
green
infrastructure
demonstration
projects
at
Boston,
water
and
sewer
is
partnering
on
and
it's
required
under
an
EPA
consent
order.
The
place
making
is
something
that
was
very
important
to
the
neighborhood.
S
This
was
historically
considered
to
be
a
gateway
to
the
Emerald
Necklace
and
with
this
treatment
and
the
trees
and
the
green
infrastructure
at
the
intersection,
it
really
creates
a
proper
gateway.
So
I'm
going
to
turn
it
over
to
Todd
unzips
he's
with
HDR
engineering
and
he'll
go
through
the
engineering
plans.
T
When
commissioners,
so
as
Charlotte
stated,
project
limits
are
st.
Mary's
Street
on
Beacon
Street
to
the
west,
as
you
can
see,
we're
proposing
to
adjust
some
existing
roadway
alignments
on
Beacon
Street,
we're
also
going
to
be
adjusting
some
of
the
curb
alignments
creating
additional
sidewalk
with,
in
conjunction
with
that
we're
going
to
be
providing
additional
street
trees.
We're
going
to
be
changing
the
surface
treatments
of
the
sidewalks
are
going
to
be
providing
permeable
pavers
in
these
areas
designated
here,
it'll
be
regular,
concrete
sidewalk
for
all
on
a
DA,
accessible,
passive
travel.
T
Coordinated
the
corrupt
alignments
with
the
Boston
Fire
Department,
we
went
through
an
extensive
process
with
them.
We
got
their
blessing
that
the
proposed
sidewalk
widening.
We
adjusted
them
where
they
requested,
so
that
we
didn't
interfere
with
any
of
their
firefighting
abilities.
So
we
we
got
there.
Okay,
on
that.
T
As
for
autobahn
circle
itself,
we've
got
the
four
quadrants
here
at
significance.
We're
going
to
be
providing
some
ornamental
planter
areas
in
each
of
the
quadrants.
The
Northwest
northeast
and
southeast
quadrant
will
also
feature
some
additional
rain
garden
area
to
provide
some
enhanced
treatment
of
storm
water
flowing
streets.
T
We
have
received
blessing
from
Boston
water
and
sewer
as
far
as
the
piz
process
is
concerned,
currently
we're
right
about
the
75%
stage
of
plan
design,
where
we
have
comments
from
public
works
which
we're
looking
to
address
and
we're
going
we're
hoping
to
move
forward
with
the
hundred
percent
submittal
as
soon
as
possible.
After
receiving
the
approved
from
v.I.c.
T
Those,
unfortunately,
our
landscape
architect,
is
unable
to
attend.
Those
will
be
pedestrian
accessible,
ad,
a
compliant
skill
grading
on
above
a
sunken
concrete
channel
that
will
convey
stormwater
runoff
from
the
catch
basin
to
the
rain
garden
area.
On
those
three
quadrants
you'll
be
able
to
see
that
see
them
run
off.
Basically,
it
so
kind
of
medium
they're,
actually,
the
greatest.
S
T
This
standard
rate
they're,
actually
standard
drainage
structures
which
have
are
off
basically
off
the
shelf
catch
basin.
Some
type
structures
which
will
be
maintained
the
same
way
as
a
regular
catch
basin
would
be
there.
We
know
no
extra
requirements
for
that
and
as
far
as
the
rain
garden
area
that
will
be
maintained
by
primate.
G
G
G
T
G
G
E
E
G
T
T
Once
you
travel
eastbound
on
Beacon
Street,
again
we're
proposing
some
just
in
general,
realignment
to
to
provide
increased
sidewalk
area
additional
street
tree
plantings.
Again.
The
surface
treatments
will
will
be
standard
concrete
along
the
accessible
path
to
travel
and
will
be
permeable
pavers
in
amongst
the
street
trees.
G
G
G
M
F
E
T
T
S
B
Because
some
is
a
there's,
been
extensive,
working
I
Charlotte's
pointed
out.
This
is
a
high
best
friend
and
vehicular
crash
late
and
something
that
we
really
want
to
take
care,
and
it
actually
does
very
well
right
now,
with
the
mayor's
initiative
to
provide
vision,
zero,
pedestrian
safety,
Youkilis
18
seconds.
B
This
is
a
great
project
in
that
respect,
and
it
really
backs
up
with
them
the
mayor's
program,
and
that
really
puts
a
good
spot
up
a
lot
of
hard
work
going
into
this
appreciate
that
I
think
we've
got
a
good
product
here
to
make
it
a
lot
safer
for
the
pedestrians
in
bicycles
in
April
driving.
So
a
lot
of
work.
