Pole.
Okay,
so
when
we
install
this
the
new
pole,
are
you
going
to
remove
that?
Second
pole,
all
these.
Are
we
having
it
two
double
poles
here,
a
single
pole
here
to
manage
the
stress
and
are
we
still
going
to
have
the
double
poles
there?
If
you
don't
have
that
information,
please
share
that
information
with
us,
because
we
are
simultaneously
trying
to
do
multiple
things,
which
is
to
have
uniformity
of
our
infrastructure.
F
E
F

A
B
E
L
F
Don't
know
the
answer
to
this
question,
so
that's
why
I'm
sort
of
asking
it
the
removal
process
of
your
temporary
Pole?
How
does
that
get
triggered,
meaning
we
authorize
you
to
put
that
pole?
Okay,
so,
let's
assume
six
months
later
or
six
days
later,
the
functionality
of
that
pole
is
no
longer
there.
What
is
the
process
through
which
you
take
that
pole
off
and
makes
our
records
clean
when.
F
And
then
do
you
notify
the
P
I
see
stop
that
you
have
removed
that
pole.
If
not,
please
we
can't
let
step
so.
This
may
be
know
that
you
removed
it.
Okay,
shall
we
get
started
little
clock
for
about
twenty
four
months
over
here
and
then
in
24
months?
It
is
still
your
responsibility
to
let
us
know
not
have
a
response.
It
is
not
ours
to
go
see
with
the
every
movie.
E
M
B
A
N
Name
is
Rebecca
chef,
Kozak
I,
live
at
313,
East,
Eagle,
Street
and
so
I.
Actually,
I
had
two
questions
to
start
because
I,
what
we
received
in
the
mail
was
very
cryptic,
I
wasn't
sure
exactly
what
this
this
proposal
was
for.
One
is
about
moving
the
pole
and
what
the
plan
was,
which
is
what
you
just
asked.
Another
question
I
had
is
what
the
pole
is
for,
and
it
seems
like
it's
to
support
the
proposed
substation.
Is
that
correct?
Okay
can.
N
Because
East
Boston
residents
right
now
are
having
a
very
hard
time
with
eversource.
This
has
been
a
constant
conversation.
Some
of
you
are
probably
privy
to
it
that
we
don't
want
the
substation.
This
is
not
the
place
to
talk
about
that,
but
I
just
I
saw
eversource
on
the
top
of
the
mailing
and
was
very
concerned
and,
like
hundreds
of
other
East
Boston
residents,
we've
been
in
conversation
about
it,
but
I
I'm
against
this
and
I
think.
N
N
And
I
couldn't
tell
from
the
mailing.
This
is
why
I
arrived
here.
I
couldn't
tell
from
the
mailing
whether
this
pole
was
going
to
support
the
proposed
substation,
especially
considering
Verizon
New
England
as
part
of
this
installation.
So
now
now
we
mad.
It
seems
like
it's
more
of
a
concern
and
I
wouldn't
necessarily
want
the
poll
I
think
if
it's
going
to
support
other
activity
or
electrical
activity
in
the
community,
that's
already
been
established.
I
think
that
that
absolutely
makes
sense,
but
supporting
the
proposed
substation
is
not
something
that
you
know.
I
support.
B
I
C
Keator
style
this
eversource
energy
manager
for
the
project,
this
poll
would
not
be
installed
until
all
the
requisite
permits
for
the
project.
Obtaining
of
course,
it's
a
myriad
of
permits
required
for
the
project
and,
as
everyone
knows,
is
many
many
regulatory
authorities.
We
have
to
vote
every
source
needs
to
go
before
and
discreetly
obtain
approvals,
ad
hoc
one
at
a
time
so,
but
this
particular
poll,
even
if
the
PSC
approves
its
installation
today,
we
won't
install
it
until
all
permits
are
obtained,
see.
F
If
I
can,
sir,
if
I
can
follow
up
on
that,
very
thought
would
thought
patent.
What
would
be
the
final
permit
that
you
will
receive,
which
gives
you
clearance
for
the
installation
of
the
substation
between
property
that
you
own
in
city
of
Boston,
because
I'm
trying
to
figure
out
whether
we
constructed
this
board
in
a
mannerism
there
upon
receipt
of
that
final
permit,
then
you
will
have
these
Commission's
approval
for
you
do
so.
Can
you
give
us
some
guidance
as
to
how
the
P
leaves
are
supposed
to
be?
Yes,
so.
C
There
was
negotiations
that
were
requested
by
the
signing
board
that
eversource
entertained
the
city
to
do
a
land
swap
which
was
done
so
now.
The
substation
is
a
different
portion
of
that
city,
cross
the
property,
and
that
final
decision
is
expected.
The
template,
tentative
decision
is
anticipated,
number
28
and
March
11th
would
be
the
public
hearing
for
that
decision.
So
if
you
want
to
make
this
approval
contingent
upon
the
FSB
ruling,
that
would
be
appropriate.
F
F
But
since
that
it
busy
process,
has
it's
a
public
hearing
process
where
the
community
still
gets
to
articulate
their
thoughts?
Yes
and
that
Commission
or
the
board
gets
opportunity
to
engage
the
public?
That's
a
good
public
process,
so
cities
I'm
good
assume
since
that's
an
independent
board.
That
is
not
a
foregone
conclusion.
Yes,.
C
Public
hearings,
have
you
heard
over
the
course
of
last
summer,
and
public
hearings
have
been
closed
and
it's
been
delivery
to
now
internally
with
the
siting
board
and
that's
what
or
the
tentative
decision
that's
due
out
end
of
this
month
would
be
the
culmination
of
that
process.
Okay,
so
we
could
basically
eversource
could
certainly
wait
until
March
to
put
this
temporary
Pohlman.
That's
there's
no
problem
with
that
is.
C
No
different
than
we
happened
to
go
to
Conservation
Commission
for
individual
approvals.
Go
with
a
site
plan.
Approval
process
has
already
gone
to
Boston
water
sewer,
Commission,
chapter
91
license
application
has
been
filed.
This
isn't
every
project
has
numerous
permits
that
have
to
be
applied
for
so
this
is
just
one
more
and
this
being
a
temporary
installation.
It
seems
someone
in
activist,
although
one
thing
is
parallels
us
I've
been
in
conversation
with
Joe
Sullivan
and
street-lighting
division.
C
There's
one
utility
pole
on
Condor
Street,
which
have
which,
how
it
houses,
which
has
the
only
light
fixture
for
Concord
Street,
and
it's
not
really
it
needs
converse
streets-
should
have
been
or
illumination.
So
this
one
pole
on
Condor
feet,
2192
last
26.
That
partners
proposal
would
install
a
replacement
pole
for
I
suggested
to
Joe
Sullivan
that
we
add
a
light
fixture
or
street
light
fixture
to
that
pole.
That.
F
The
public
way
that's
a
supplemental
City
task,
which
the
city
can
exercise
in
different
ways:
I
just
don't
want
the
two
to
be
tied
together,
but
for
the
purpose
of
this
public
hearing.
Okay,
so
he's
just
want
all
parties
to
understand
if
the
cities
of
the
opinion
that
additional
lighting
is
needed,
the
city
has
multiple
ways
of
solving
that
situation.
This
hole
is
for
the
singular
purpose
of
getting
power
or
whatever
that
is
associated
with
your
project.
Great.
C
Oh
I'm,
sorry,
okay,
BP
da,
so
yes,
we've
been
meeting
with
before
SBPD
a
VRA
for
a
number
of
years
now,
most
recently
met
with
BPD
a
January
10th.
We
met
with
that
and
last
and
I
believe.
Another
meeting
is
coming
up.
Every
28
in
fact
we're
trying
to
schedule
a
joint
consultation
with
the
con
comm
agent
BPD,
a
Boston
parks,
because
these
Condor
wild
is
across
the
street
plus
the
playground,
Public
Works
Department.
C
C
G
C
Hazard
we've
been
attending
with
Brian's
permission.
We
go
to
some
of
their
project
meetings
and
when
we
were
doing
the
site
soils
remediation
work,
they
were
invited
to
our
meetings
and
although
that
works
done
so
we've
been
working
hand
in
hand
even
before
either
project.
When
it's
in
construction,
we
were
coordinating
designs
amongst
each
other
to
make
sure
that
the
properties
have
you
know,
compatibility
not
just
from
the
utility
underground
utility
perspective,
but
also
from
an
aesthetic
perspective.
So.
G
G
C
C
F
I
should
hold
hearings
do
be,
can
does
the
Commission
have
that
right,
I
think
I
know
the
answer
to
continue
the
hearings.
Yes,
okay,
so
we
can
do
one
of
two
things:
continue
the
hearing
or
have
a
very
conditional
boat.
That
might
confuse
me
out
of
so.
Do
you
have
any
concerns
about
us
continuing
this
hearing
to
a
day
where
it
is
past,
you
know
beyond
the
baby,
am
I
making
me
sense
to
you,
certainly
there.
A
A
H
D
D
A
On
to
our
next
item,
public
hearing
first
item
is
on
a
petition
by
the
City
of
Austin
public
facilities,
Department
for
the
making
of
specific
repairs
within
Paris
Street,
a
public
way
in
East
Boston,
located
at
numbers,
112
and
113
generally
between
go
Street
and
Porter
Street
and
consisting
of
curb
and
sidewalk
reconstruction,
as
well
as
new
and
relocated
pedestrian
ramps,
traffic
signal
infrastructure,
storm
drain
infrastructure
and
a
raised
crosswalk.
This
was
new
business,
On
January
30
of
2020.
O
Good
morning
Commission,
my
name
is
Robertson,
castor
I
am
the
project
manager
for
public
facilities
department
working
on
the
parish
sheet
pool
renovation
project
as
a
part
of
our
project.
We
will
be
installing
this
raised
crosswalk
between
113
parachute
at
112
per
street,
basically
joining
the
community
center
with
the
pool
we've
met
with
all
stakeholders
and
updated
our
plans
appropriately
I'm
gonna
defer
over
to
Stephen
Bernstein
I
civil
engineer
to
talk
more
about
the
technical
portions
of
this
project,
hi.
P
I'm
Steve
Bernstein
from
SLP
Group
LLC,
goody-good
Mooney.
As
Robinson
said,
we
revised
the
drawings
dated
January
23rd
with
and
proceeded
to
put
in
bum
boats,
as
requested
by
the
Public
Works
Department,
and
we
work
in
some
handles
and
work
for
future
pedestrian
crossing
lights
to
be
worked
out
with
Transportation
Department
may
I
approach.
The
bullets.
P
P
We
produced
two
drawings
with
a
construction
plan,
integrating
a
utility
plan,
we've
coordinated
with
Boston,
Water
and
Sewer,
as
requested
by
Public
Works.
With
recent
recent
recently
Surrey
submitted
our
plans
to
Boston
Water
and
Sewer
for
approval,
but
second,
the
back.
Pilots
drawing
is
just
a
detail
sheet
the
electrical
requirements
and
the
line
striping
and,
of
course,
the
details
associated
with
utility
work,
which
we're
adding
a
catch
basin
and
drain
manhole
to
facilitate
drainage
because
essentially
you're
building
a
dam
in
the
middle
of
the
road
with
the
Ray
sidewalk
race.
Crosswalk
comes
sorry.
D
Guys
did
exactly
what
we
asked
them
for
we
are
we're
still
debating
whether
or
not
there
should
be
a
rapid
flashing
beacon
that
comes
here
to
replace
the
static
flasher
that
just
has
no
pet
actuation.
We
got
to
the
point
where
we
add
them
put
in
the
bump
out,
so
that
it
could
support
the
flasher
and
wrap
it
with
conduit.
We
had
a
subsequent
conversation
between
BTD
and
Public
Works
as
to
whether
or
not
the-
and
we
will
give
you
a
final
answer,
but
there
might
be
a
rapid
flashing
beacon
here,
but
they
do
honestly.
F
O
L
We
Robertson
you
I,
called
me
yesterday
and
asked
about
what
we
know
about
maintaining
the
catch
basin.
Yes,.
O
L
D
Q
B
A
Next
item
is
on
a
petition
by
the
trustee
is
a
Boston
College
for
the
widening
and
relocation
of
the
existing
right-of-way
lines
at
Beacon
Street
a
public
way
and
Brighton
located
Northerly
site
address
numbers
2609
generally
between
Chesson
Hill,
Drive
and
doing
city
boundary.
This
was
new
business
on
January,
30th
2020
and,
as
shown
on
a
set
of
plans
entitled
city
of
hustling,
Public
Works
Department
engineering
divisions,
winding
and
relocation
plan.
2609,
Beacon,
Street
Brighton,
two
sheets
dated
February
7th
2020
morning.
R
S
Just
a
reminder
from
last
meeting,
Boston
College
is
looking
to
improve
a
sidewalk
along
Beacon
Street.
That's
currently
bhatooras
concrete
to
make
it
a
concrete
walkway.
This
land
is
on
their
property
and
we
found
out
that
as
in
addition
that
there
is
a
stretch
of
Beacon
Street,
that's
also,
which
is
why
we're
coming
for
the
widening
of
relocation
as
part
of
this
project.
Oh
when
that
was
developed,
that's
between
Chestnut
Hill
Drive
and
an
internal
access
road.
S
It
was
determined
that,
although
there's
no
improvements
proposed
continuing
down
the
Newton
line,
this
situation
that
it
still
is
in
place
where
it's
owned
by
Boston
College,
but
it's
being
utilized
by
public
traffic,
so
it
was
continued
in
the
second
sheet
down
to
the
Newton
line.
So
the
one
kind
of
small
standing
item
from
the
last
meeting
is
that
we
received
approval
from
the
lighting
department
and
we
just
we
were
there's
a
we're
trying
to
straighten
out
the
walkway
to
make
it
a
bit
more
clear
what
route
and
so
there's
a
light.
A
B
R
I
R
A
So
moved.
Thank
you
very
much,
we're
on
to
our
next
item
on
vision
by
the
Freeport
South
Boston
LLC,
for
the
making
of
specific
repairs
within
West
Sixth
Street,
a
public
way
in
South
Boston,
located
on
the
southwest
side
at
the
rear
of
270
Dorchester
Avenue,
northwest
of
B
Street
and
consisting
of
new
groundwater
recharge
infrastructure.
This
was
new
business,
On
January,
30th
2020,
and
this
is
shown
on
a
plan
entitled
city
of
Boston,
Public,
Works,
Department
engineering,
division,
specific
repairs,
plan,
270,
Dorchester,
Avastin
1.
She
did
October
2019
good
morning.
T
T
U
This
is
for
the
groundwater
recharge
system,
which
you're
proposing
six
treat.
We
have
nine
wells
that
we're
proposing
in
the
public
concrete
sidewalk
the
water
stormwater
will
be
collected
within
the
building
and
stored
in
a
tank
and
then
pumped
into
the
wells
in
the
sidewalk
and
then
any
overflow
of
discharge
into
the
Boston
water
and
sewer
system.
U
This
in
this,
this
application,
as
well
as
its
supportive
excavation
application,
is
requested
in
support
of
a
foundation.
Permit
that
were
you're
seeking
before
is
be
a
Boston,
Water
and
Sewer
has
signed
off
on
the
foundation
permit
as
well,
and
then
we
spoke
last
time
about
the
specific
repairs
for
the
abutting
streets
and
we
will
be
coming
through
that
process,
probably
in
spring
of
twenty
one.
We
understand
that
that
I've
is
going
through
a
master
plan
reconsideration,
so
we
asked
for
any.
G
T
We've
had
a
bit
of
interfacing
with
messed
out
in
the
last
six
months.
We
have
a
number
of
licenses
that
we
got
approved
and
have
signed
off
on,
including
along
the
haul
road
track
and
also
dealing
with
the
bridge
and
doing
an
addition.
Additional
surveying
work
on
that
bridge
to
make
sure
it's
structurally
sound
and
there's
someone
there
on
our
side
to
monitor
the
situation
and
also,
in
addition
to
this
seismographs
required
to
go
into
the
redline
t
tunnel.
A
A
H
T
Will
say
that
we
were
at
the
West
Broadway
Neighborhood
Association,
meeting
Monday
and
we've
talked
I
actually
was
talking
to
national
development.
This
morning,
I'd
say
all
stakeholders
are
pushing
as
hard
as
they
can
to
alleviate
the
pedestrian
access
we
most
of
all.
We
want
our
members,
the
condo
owners
of
our
building,
to
be
able

We
met
with
the

in
the

a
few
months
ago
and
then
recently
we
submitted
comments
and
the
concerns
that
the

has
is
that
there
is
an
existing
tree
pit
near
the

and
we
think
that
7
more
inches

the

would
help
meet

Minimum

so.
F
Q
And
please
forgive
me
because
I'm
slightly
confused,
like
we
had
extensive
conversations
with
the

I
thought
that
we
had
an

so
I'm
I'm
slightly
under

We
will
work

and
thought
that
we
had

That's
the
most

certainly
accommodate

working

We
accept

my

is
frustrated

this

there's
no
really
hard

we

We

We
don't

We

but
we
also
have
with
us
a
great
deal
of
the
design
team
representative
from
the
general
contractor.
People
have
been
involved
in
the
project
since
its
outset
four
years
ago,
so
we
did
send
over
some
materials
in
writing
in
advance.
AA
A
AB
Whoever
knows
where
the
site
is
it
Sam
about
a
block
south
to
massive
and,
as
you
see,
we're
diagonally
across
from
the
Boston
Symphony
Orchestra
that
sites
about
4/10
of
an
acre
there's
two
two-story
buildings
on
there.
That'll
be
demolished
for
what
you
see.
Here's
a
34
storey
tower
they'll
have
about
430
residential
units,
7,500
square
feet
of
retail
space,
two
level
garage,
more
importantly,
we're
building
out
of
fourteen
thousand
five
hundred
square
foot
space
for
the
theater
and
we've
actually
donated
the
theater
already
to
the
hundred
if
they
had
a
company.
AB
So
the
perfect
ition
there's
an
easy
one:
the
pedestrian
easement
down
the
existing
sourc
for
the
city's
about
seven
foot,
eight
inches,
not
including
the
curb
we
met
with
disabilities.
One
of
the
comments
was
to
see
if
we
give
them
a
12-foot
sidewalk.
So
that's
it
for
news
at
four
foot.
Four
inch
wide
easement
that
would
give
you
the
twelve
feet:
total
easements
about
651
square
feet,
I!
Think
this
one.
It's
pretty
straightforward!
You
have
any
questions.
B
B
L
L
A
AB
I'm
going
to
break
the
TV
again
Howard
Hutson
I,
just
start
off,
I!
Think
that,
much
before
that
we
are
proposing
to
move,
remove
8th
Street
trees
along
this
frontage.
We
did
have
a
tree
hearing
back
of
January,
2nd
I'm.
Still
we
for
the
final
letter
that
tells
us
what
the
bond
amount
is
from
the
parks
department.
AB
We
don't
expect
anything
to
change
really
from
this
point,
based
on
their
comments
so
going
from
left
to
right,
if
you
will
we're
starting
at
only
820,
which
we
are
not
reconstructing
because
that's
already
accessible
has
a
level
sidewalk
behind
the
curb
cut
I'm
in
front
of
250
Huntington
Ave
we'll
have
a
three
foot
wide
permeable
paver
with
five
foot
cement
concrete
sidewalk
behind
that
we
can't
wide
that
anymore,
because
the
building
staying
and
the
entry
has
a
pedestrian
ramp.
That
goes
up
to
the
property
line
to
get
to
the
entry.
AB
So
there's
no
use
MIT
there
anyhow,
and
it's
not
our
property.
Moving
for
the
next
70
feet.
Subtly
we
are
proposed
proposing
a
4-foot
wide
furnishing
zone
with
the
permeable
pavers
behind
that
will
be
an
April
wide
cement.
Concrete
sidewalk
it'll
meet
city
standards
except
I,
think
I
mentioned.
We
were
adding
the
that
black
beauty
agate.
That
has
a
little
bit
of
a
subtle
shine
at
night
that
you
see
in
Downtown
Crossing
and
some
of
the
theater
district
that
was
read
in
we
are
proposing
for
street
trees.
There
are
four
inch
Alber
pin
oaks.
AB
They
will
be
supported
with
a
structural
soil
system
in
drip
irrigation.
Also
within
the
first
few
is
own
there.
There
are
four
bike
racks
evenly
spaced
and,
lastly,
there's
four
reach:
I've
dwells
which
will
recharge
the
first
inch
and
a
quarter
off
with
the
rooftop
from
the
proposed
building,
and
we
did
do
my
geotechnical
engineers
here
we
did
do
mounting
calyx
to
make
sure
there'd
be
no
adverse
impacts
on
that.
AB
We
move
further
to
the
south
away
from
the
we
actually
lose
the
prelude
paper
and
have
have
it
completely
twelve
foot
wide
sidewalk
cement
concrete,
which
is
actually
wider
when
I'm
talking
twelve
feet.
It's
within
your
the
easement
we
just
talked
about
in
the
current
right
away,
and
that
is
because
that's
where
the
new
theater
entry
is
going
to
be,
which
is
actually
if
I
backtrack,
is
why
we've
got
grid
a
lot
of
the
trees.
AB
AC
L
You
I
just
wanted
to
ask
where
you
were

and
so
a

approval
process,
I
just.
AB
L
L
F
Idiotic
conversation
here,
basically,
the
volume
of
the
leaves
okay.
That
is
what
we
are
trying
to:
okay,
just
because
you
take
it
for
two
inches,
eight
point:
caliber
trees
and
replacing
it
with
for
two-inch
caliber
trees.
That's
not
going
to
be
okay,
all
right!
So
if
there's
someone
who
can
give
us
some
guidance
as
to
the
transformation
of
carbon
dioxide
to
oxygen,
that
is
being
benefited
by
the
tree,
growth

of
2015
outreach
was
done
to
abutters
in
2016.
Large
project
review
was
altering
the
course
of
2017.
The
folks
that
we've
reached
back
out
to
recently
and
and
provided
written
materials
are
Boston
Symphony,
Orchestra,
Fenway,
Alliance,
MBTA
I'm,
like
forgetting
I,
don't
have
a
letter
from
the
NEC,
but
I
can
tell
you
that
there's
another
attorney.
AA
Right,
okay,
so
they
have
a
copy
of
that.
I've
been
commenting
out
the
mill
working
with
Doug,
Henriette,
Sharon
and
Lodging
to
work
out
a
final
agreement.
Some
of
their
other
issues
had
to
do
with
infiltration
of
dust.
So
we
have
to
make
sure
that
we're
securing
their
windows
in
the
back,
maybe
John
or
you
fee.
If
you
want
to
come
up
again,
it's
a
different
attorney
he's
been
dealing
them
directly.
G
AA
AD
Hi
Greg
saw
one
with
Suffolk
instruction,
so
we
we
have
the
construction
management
plan.
That's
been
submitted
and
reviewed
where,
as
far
as
the
there
was
specific
Pacific
concerns
from
the
NEC
regarding
dust
control,
the
the
sites
so
small
and
it's
a
slurry
wall
foundation,
we
don't
anticipate
a
significant
amount
of
dust
during
the
excavation
or
during
the
slurry
wall,
installation
structures
cast
in
place
and
as
we're
going
up,
we
have
we've
worked
with
the
NEC
to
make
sure
that
you
have
netting
around
the
perimeter
to
control
any
dust
coming
off
the
off
the
floors.
AD
B
G
G
G
AE
We
propose
that
the
NRC
they
reviewing
that
and
we
will
continue
to
work
with
them
to
make
sure
that
we
address
that
concern
as
far
as
noise.
As
far
as
the
air
quality
as
well
as
Greg
mentioned,
we'll
have
dust,
monitors
ability
at
the
perimeter
and
we
have
met
with
their
consultants
in
regards
to
that.
They
are
fine
with
that
approach
and
in
the
event
that
we
do
exceed
whatever
thresholds
that
they
come,
they
agree
to
between
the
consultants.
We
will
do
some
additional
monitoring
on
the
interior
as
well.
AE
We're
gonna
do
some
baseline,
monitor
monitoring
readings
now
as
well
to
timber
interior
to
make
sure
that
we
have
that
data.
So,
if,
for
whatever
reason,
if
we
do
exceed
those
thresholds
on
on
the
outside,
we
can
test
on
the
inside
to
dementia
that
were
not
exceeding
the
thresholds
on
the
inside
and
their
work
and
have
a
plan
for
them
how
to
address
those.
So
as
far
as
air
quality.
As
far
as
the
noise
we've
been
meeting
with
the
consultants
to
come
up
with
with
a
plan.
G
AE
G
AE
Right
so
when
you
work
like
I,
mentioned
we're
in
the
process
of
finalizing
those
for
the
correct
work,
we're
filings
and
those
are
the
consultants
right
now
with
those
thresholds
are
and
what
the
plans
to
report
and
whatever
event
we
exceed
those
thresholds.
And
we
can't
include
that
as
part
of
the
doc
documentation
on
the
C
I'm.
G
G
AE
G
G
G
AE
G
AE
G
F
It
was
one
tiny
thing
which
I
didn't
catch
the
last
and
trick.
If
I
can
have
you
sorry,
so
we
are
very
focused
of
data
butters
and
we
truly
appreciate
your
ongoing
dialogue,
engagement
to
resolve
any
and
all
issues.
We
truly
appreciate
that
you
have
been.
You
have
been
in
touch
with
the
MBTA.
We
have
been
in
touch
with
in
VTA,
and
you
know
everyone
seems
to
be
content
that
the
conversations
are
happening
to
a
meaningful
outcome.
F
AF
AB
F
Here
so
that
the
individual
assets
had
different
conditions
in
terms
of
state
of
good
repair,
so
sir
I
would
need
your
assistance
to
ensure
that
the
contractors
monitor
the
assets
so
that
it
doesn't
become
awkward
point
to
you,
because
bridges,
the
Huntington
Avenue
massive
of
a
Huntington
Avenue.
That
bridge
is
not
in
pristine
condition.
It
is
extremely
serviceable,
but
whenever
we
have
this
type
of
construction,
we
are
always
concerned.
So
there
may
be
a
level
of
monitoring
or
precondition
analysis
of
that
bridge
or
precondition
awareness
of
that
bridge.
F
F
G
F
I
X
Hi,
my
name
is
Alison.
Fulton
has
been
following
this
project
for
a
while
a
couple
questions
the
position
of
the
crane
in
Huntington
Avenue
between
the
underpass
and
the
sidewalk
I'm,
not
quite
clear
how
that's
going
to
be.
You
know
how
it's
going
to
move
the
movement
of
the
crane
and
so
I
just
feel
like
that
has
to
be
monitored.
The
existing
wood
frame
building
to
the
north
of
this
site.
Are
there
going
to
be
monitors
on
that
foundation
as
well,
because
that
actually
seems
even
more.
X
AE
So
I'll,
let's
let
Greg
speak
to
the
crane,
but
as
far
as
the
monitors
for
250
mb/s
Oh,
we
do
plan
to
have
monitors
on
the
interior
floor
and
on
the
exterior
at
250,
on
intent
and
on
it,
as
well
as
the
BSO
and
access
to
the
alley.
That
should
be
just
as
much
access
as
theirs.
Right
now,
since
we
pulled
back
that
fence
line.
G
X
AD
So
the
the
boom
of
the
tower
crane
during
all
operations
remains
flat
and
it
would
but
the
the
portion
of
the
tower
crane
that
carries
the
actual
load
would
never
swing
anywhere
else
besides
over
the
site.
Okay,
I
think
during
the
when
the
tower
crane
is
not
an
operation,
the
hook
is
actually
is
withdrawn,
closed
and
the
tower
crane
is
allowed
to
weathervane
again,
it's
never
there
never
loads
ever
any,
never
loads
lifted
over
any
occupied
buildings
outside
the
site.
Okay,.
F
So
you
have
a
construction
right.
I
am
Symphony
covers,
is
a
tall
building,
there's
a
fair
amount
of
residents
that
live
in
that
building
that
are
very
concerned
about
girls
with
disabilities
pack,
and
you
all
do
excellent
work.
Please
be
mindful
that
the
symphony
towers
building
has
occupancy
of
a
high
percentage
of
individuals
that
might
be
high
more
sensitive
to
the
a
DA
Act
I'm
trying.
W
F
Say
this
very
respectfully,
and
so
within
that
area
there
may
be
a
lot
of
people
who
are
in
need
of
good
access
to
sight
box
and
no
constructions.
Yes,
so
as
sensitive
as
you
are,
with
all
your
projects
be
equally
and/or,
more
sensitive
to
that
segment
of
the
population
which
we
are
here
to
serve.
Hopefully
you
understand
what
I
am
trying
to
say.
You
know
I
understand.
Thank
you.
I
A
D
AG
Hi,
my
name
is
Stephanie
seccion,
I'm
the
absolute
transportation
director
in
the
city
of
boston
transportation
department,
I'm
here
to
share
our
plans
for
the
Grove
hall
Quincy
corridor
zone
that
was
selected
for
the
neighborhood
slow
streets
program
in
2017.
We
have
been
working
with
residents
on
all
of
these
streets
to
figure
out
better
ways
to
manage
traffic
and
improve
safety
in
the
neighborhood.
AG
They
were
selected
because
of
the
high
number
of
youth
and
elders
who
live
in
the
neighborhood,
as
well
as
the
history
of
crashes
and
the
presence
of
multiple
playgrounds
and
schools
within
the
zone.
I'm
joined
here
today
by
admirers
with
kills
and
associates,
who
will
walk
through
the
engineering
plans.
AF
Thank
you.
Thank
you,
commissioners,
for
the
opportunity
to
present
our
plan.
We
have
a
proposing
handful
of
treatments
in
the
growth
Hall
neighborhood
to
reduce
speeds
and
improve
pedestrian
safety.
The
the
zone
is
bound
by
Washington
Street,
this
South
Columbia
roads
to
the
east,
Blue
Hill
Avenue
to
the
west,
and
a
series
of
streets
up
here
in
the
North
Quincy,
Street
and
Geneva
Avenue
are
not
part
of
the
evaluation
zone.
The
treatments
that
we're
considering
in
this
neighborhood
and
I
think
we
I
know.
We've
presented
a
number
of
plans
for
other
neighborhoods.
AF
What
we're
considering
specifically
in
this
neighborhood
are
speed,
humps,
curb
extensions
and
raised
crosswalks,
so
I'm
on
the
speed
humps
they're
there
throughout
the
neighborhood
there's
a
total
of
44
speed,
humps
that
we're
proposing
in
in
the
corridor.
The
speed
humps
are
how
we
located
the
speed.
Humps
are
a
number
of
engineering
features,
including
grade
curvature.
The
measured
speeds
that
we
we
collect.
The
data
on
the
number
of
travel
lanes,
emergency
vehicle
access
and
and
bus
routes.
AF
The
speed
spacing
is
based
on
maintaining
a
speed
profile
of
20
miles
per
hour
or
less,
and
the
spacing
tends
to
be
between
150
and
250
feet.
Apart,
speed,
speed,
hump
locations
were
field,
checked
to
be
clear
of
surface
utilities
and
and
driveways.
A
H
AG
AG
A
Just
before
we
get
to
the
some
of
the
intersection
changes,
it
seems
like
Creek
ramrod,
that
a
lot
of
the
speed
concerts
are
lined
up
as
places
that
are
abutting.
Those
properties.
Is
that
fair
or
is
that
or
there
other
throughout?
But
you
have
a
number
that
are
against
sale
on
Park
I
number
that
are
near
the
line
of
Frederick.
AF
So
you
were
talking
about.
Other
parks.
Parks
is
right
in
this
area
off
of
inner
interval
Street
the
current
conditions
of
Intervale
are
it's
a
one-way
street
with
a
40-foot
public
layout.
There's
on
street
parking
on
both
sides
and
the
crosswalks
are
a
mark
across
interval
park.
The
modifications
that
were
proposing
are
put
in
a
put
in
a
raised
crosswalk,
to
provide
better
visibility
for
pedestrians
and
reduce
vehicle
vehicle
speeds
and
increase
yoli
compliance.
AF
The
next
the
next
treatment
is
Howard
Avenue
at
Wayland,
Avenue
or
Wayland
Street,
there's
a
bit
of
a
jog
in
Leyland
Street.
Here,
Howard
Avenue
is
a
proposed
40
foot
40
foot
public
layout
on
street
parking
is
provided
in
one
direction
and
Waylon
Street
is
one-way:
one-way
street
west
of
Howard
and
two-way
street
east
of
power.
There's
a
40-foot
public
layout
public
right
away.
AF
The
geometric
improvements
that
were
proposing
here
you
can
see,
and
here
the
existing
curb
line,
basically
we're
tightening
up
that
radius
to
to
slow
down
vehicles
from
a
very
high
speed
rate
turn
movement
and
then
on
the
western
leg,
we're
creating
a
raised,
crosswalk
missiny,
there's
a
store
and
in
this
area
those
are
the
main
improvements
in
that
area.
There.
AF
AF
F
Within
this
footprint
of
that
neighborhood,
it
will
be
so
very
nicely
because,
basically,
what
you
have
done
sniffing
is
taken
that
neighborhood
and
give
us
that
neighborhood
back
to
the
neighborhood
and
improve
the
safety
and
livability,
and
it
will
be
nice
for
us
to
know
how
many
dwelling
units
are
there.
You
know
how
many
people's
lives
give
you
transform
and.
B
D
B
F
More
than
a
couple
of
families-
and
that's
really
nice-
that
you
are
doing
transformative,
giving
livable
neighborhoods
back
to
so
that's
one
and
just
this
is
this
plan
should
be.
It
should
be
at
least
at
75%
right.
Yes,
we
have
a
sort
of,
and
you
can
just
share
that
information
with
staff
of
me.
What's
the
current
construction
cost
is
to
make
bodies
okay,
two
dollars
or
three
bucks,
but
whatever
it
is.
G
F
G
AG
L
J
My
name
is
Patricia
Mendez
on
behalf
of
the
Commission
for
persons
with
disabilities.
We
take
you
Stephanie
for
your
work
and
appreciate
this
and
to
follow
up
with
para
started.
To
say
is
that
there's
really
a
ripple
effect
on
a
project
like
this
and
yes,
we
can
try
to
quantify
it,
but
it
really
will
go
beyond
what
we
can
count,
and
we
appreciate
that.
Thank
you.
H
H
AH
Our
improvements
that
are
before
you
relate
to
Granby
Street,
first
Granby
Street
is
going
to
be
two
lane
two
way
northbound
for
the
first
time
as
well
as
sell
out
to
support
bicyclists.
The
west
side
will
be
a
flex
bollard
protected
bike
lane
on
the
east
side
will
be
a
cycle
track.
This
is
beneficial
because
BTD
a
couple
months
ago,
created
on
base
State
Road
a
contraflow
as
well
as
a
bike
lane.
AH
So
this
this
allows
that
network
to
connect
to
common
with
them
on
Commonwealth
Avenue
we're
following
the
general
idea
of
the
Commonwealth
Avenue
part,
one
vocabulary
with
planting
beds,
there's
also
a
TNC
drop-off
Lane
for
three
vehicles
in
uncommon.
With
that
we
had
a
lot
of
discussions
would
be
TT
on
that,
but
it
was
all.
It
was
agreed
that
that
was
the
best
location.
There
are
some
outstanding
questions
that
came
to
us
as
we
submitted
materials
to
the
Commission.
We
expect
to
be
meeting
with
the
stakeholders
of
those
comments
in
the
next
week.
AI
I
am
Chelsea
Christiansen
from
a
niche
engineering.
The
improvements
proposed
for
the
specific
repairs
on
Commonwealth
Avenue
include
an
approximately
15-foot
sidewalk
and
public,
whether
it's
14
and
a
half
actually
within
the
limits
of
public
way.
New
planters
that
agree
with
the
rest
of
the
screen,
streetscape
along
Avenue,
porous
pavers
in
between
them
and
along
the
back
of
the
curb
and
the
sidewalk.
AI
Based
on
some
comments
received
during
the
review
process,
they
have
been
widened
to
accommodate
additional
heavy
pedestrian
traffic
going
across
both
to
the
the
MBTA
and
across
Granby
Street
itself.
Some
of
the
other
elements
that
we
have
in
the
public
way
along
come
wealth
are
relocating
and
advertising
sign
currently.
AI
Box,
that's
being
coordinated
with
department.
There
are
proposed
bike,
racks
and
benches
consistent
with
the
rest
of
the
streetscape
relocation
of
a
few
lights
that
has
been
coordinated
with
lots
of
street
lighting
and
there's
also
chief
fire
department
connections
that
we
are
proposing
to
locate
within
a
planter
that
are
being
reviewed
by
oversees,
though
they
propose.
The
improvements
in
Granby
Street
has
a
five-foot
concrete
sidewalk
in
the
public
way,
it's
actually
seven
and
a
half
feet
of
concrete.
It
extends
onto
our
site
a
little
bit.
So
we
have
a
nice
white
sidewalk.
AI
G
G
AH
F
Again,
going
back
a
few
years,
we
truly
appreciate
the
investment
you
are
supported,
using
all
resources
to
build
Commonwealth
Avenue
to
our
mutual
liking
and
your
ongoing
support
in
maintaining
them.
So
we
truly
appreciate
that
now,
in
those
years
we
were
not
that
focused-
or
we
may
not
have
been
that
focused
about
bicycle
accommodations
so
as
much
as
these
investments
are
made
and
down
compact,
if
you
can
be
supportive
of
the
city's
desire
to
keep
the
best
bicycle
access
paths
in
our
city
learning
institution
that
will
be
massively
beneficial
to
all
parties.
Our.

A
What
we
are
learning
about
pick-up
and
drop-off
locations
that
women's
oh
well,
we've
been,
we've
been
learning
as
we've
been
piloting,
pick-up
and
drop-off
locations
how
how
to
design
them?
Well,
there's
some
initial
feedback
from
the
pilot
that
happened
in
the
Fenway,
we'll
just
make
sure
that
if
there's
any
comments
to
be
incorporate
in
the
physical
design
will
give.
H
AH
AH
I
L
Just
wanted
to
make
a
comment
on
665
the
Commonwealth
Avenue
plan.
You
show
granite
for
the
benches
and
we
have
water
main
and
sewer
line
there.
I'm,
not
sure
if
you
had
time
to
think
about
the
comment
or
had
a
response
to
the
comment
on
that
that
we
sent
last
week,
I
mean
no,
we
won't
maintain
the
bench
if
something
happens
to
our
water,
our
store
but
I'm.
Just
not
sure.
If
that's
something
you
know
you
want
to
do
what
we
need
to
discuss
further
on
that.
That's
all.

So
the
first
simple
way
much
of
the
university's
underground
communications
network
is
in
a
duct
bank
that
is
owned
by
Verizon
in
conduit
that
beyond
coming
out
of
595
Commonwealth
Avenue,
which
is
a
communications
hub,
the
we
don't
have
the
capacity
in
the
existing
duct
bank.
So
we
need
to
install
new
that
goes
into
the
Verizon
manhole.
That's
in
silver
way,.

And
you
are
going
to
create
scars
and
I,
just
don't
know
how
to
manage
the
situation
other
than
asking
you
all
to
keep
consideration
to
putting
it
back
the
way
it
was
not
just
putting,
on
the
whole
sure
a
lot
of
types
I've
done
this
thing
it's
not
even
funny,
and
there
is
a
scar
that
is
going
to
be
sure.
So,
if
I
ask
you,
how
could
you
give
us
the
street
that
the
way
it
was
rather,
that
is
putting
the
dirt
contacting
it,
probably
another
surface
material
that
looks
like
it.
AK
Good
afternoon
offer
Pinot
from
X
tonight.
I
agree
with
you,
para
and
I
take
great
pride,
and
you
know
when
we
restore
these
streets.
Yeah
I
think
my
track
record
throughout
the
city
does
speak
for
itself
on
the
restorations
and
the
issues
that
we
coming
across
with
the
micro
trenching
is
depending
on
the
depth
of
the
existing
asphalt
or
any
existing
of
excuse
me
any
additional
work.
That's
going
on
by
other
companies
out
there,
micro
trenches
are
getting
hit
and
that's
causing
us
to
go
back
out.
AK
There
again,
obviously
destructive
mistake
the
constituents,
so
my
objective
was
to
try
to
get
the
trench
in
as
traditional
trenching
once
repair
it
back
to
the
city,
boston
standards
and
that
we
had
done.
I
understand
the
micro
trench
scenario
in
philosophy
in
boston,
but
we
are
getting
pulled
out
of
the
ground
an
awful
lot
either
through
milling
and
paving
for
the
city
work
or
any
other
contract.
That's
working
out
there
and
I
think
it's
a
I
think
it's
an
issue,
that's
happening
throughout
the
city,
not
just
what
X
tonight.
AJ
And
mr.
chairman
we've
been
made
aware
of
a
potential
meeting,
that's
going
to
be
scheduled,
perhaps
in
early
March,
and
we
would
be
happy
to
attend
that
and
you
know,
participate
in
that
discussion.
We're
always
trying
to
improve
not
only
the
relationship,
but
the
work
that
we
do
in
the
city
of
Boston
and
I
really
do
feel
that
our
third
takes
this
stuff
very
seriously
and
make
sure
that
he
stays
on
top
of
his
crews.
F
AJ
F
A
solution
with
other
cities
and
I
promise
you,
if
you're
doing
this
in
Tyson's,
Corner
or
any
other
parts,
you
will
be
resurfacing
curb
to
curb
for
the
whole
length
of
the
street.
If
their
attitude
astray
there's
no
color
differences.
Okay,
so
it
is
up
to
you.
You
all
make
a
judgment
call,
but
right
now,
I
think
our
rules
are
written
where
they
just
put
the
page
back,
and
our
concern
seems
to
be
if
it
doesn't
settle.
We
are
very
happy
and
I
think
that
bath
is
way
too
low
to
what
we
are
dealing
with.
AJ
F
G
G
F
Okay,
so
we've
devised
the
means
and
methods
of
keeping
the
wire
from
clipping
or
happy
to
keep
the
traffic
control
system.
So
it's
consideration
to
what
mr.
hispid
is
saying,
because
you
want
to
make
sure
that
your
wires
don't
get
me
started
yes
to
serve
your
clients
as
much
as
those
wire
serving
the
operations
of
a
traffic
signal,
control
system
or
your
P.
If
that
specifications
goes
to
appropriate
depth
and
properly,
you
know
so.
H
AJ
D
H
AJ
Chairman
commissioners,
once
again
these
are
two
more
digs
that
are
associated
with
two
additional
nodes
in
the
Beacon
Hill
neighborhood.
These
designs
are
also
consistent
with
the
franchise
agreement
with
the
city
of
Boston
and
involve
Dick's,
try
to
minimize
the
length
of
them,
of
course,
but
these
are
also
traditional
dicks.
So
we
will
take
into
consideration
the
comments
that
were
made
in
a
previous
petition
and
talks
amongst
ourselves.
So
with
respect
to
that
that
issue.
