From YouTube: Public Improvement Commission Hearings 2-14-19
Description
The Boston Public Improvement Commission (PIC) is the owner and regulator of the City's rights of way. The PIC plays an integral role in the City's development and permitting process. From the restaurant that wants to add a seasonal cafe on the public sidewalk, to the developer who wants to construct an underground parking garage for a new housing development, or the homeowner who wants to add an architectural feature to a house that juts into the public space, each must seek approval from the PIC to have its private venture occupy public space, either permanently or on a licensed basis.

E
Morning,

from

from

the

the

At
our
last
hearing
we
were
continued
and
we
received
some
comments
that
the
Commissioner
would
like
to
see.
The
area
of
discontinued
see
the
northern
extent
pulled
back
so
that
it
does
not
extend
more
than
two-thirds
beyond
the
with
the
sidewalk.
You

with
P
I,

with

determined
that
we're
able
to
make
that
change,
and
so
we've
submitted
revised
plans
pulling
it
back.
E
F
I,
don't
have
one
specific
tonight
we
were
here.
If
you
remember
before
the
canopy,
the
most
brothers
asset
was
1/2
feet
from
the
curve
line.
We
pushed
it
so
now
it's
5
feet
so
I'm
in
response
to
you,
one
just
to
have
the
overtaking,
be
only
two-thirds
of
the
sidewalk.
So
basically
it
extends
at
the
worst
plot
11
feet
over
60
and
a
half
a
wide
sidewalk.
So.

I,
think
he's
moments
away,
but
just
in
the
interest
of
time
and
moving
the
schedule
along
I
thought.
I
would
step
in
and
do
my
best
impression
and
talk
to
the
various
action.
So
here
today
to
talk
about
a
series
of
actions
that
were
taking
with
her
Bulfinch
crossing
project,
formerly
known
as
like
government
senator
garage
redevelopment,
specifically
the
second
phase,
which
is
the
office
tower
phase
I,
don't
know
before
I
dive
into
the
actions
themselves.
R
R
There's
berries
the
first
residential
tower
and
if
you
look
at
it,
you
see
this
year
that
is
underway
right
now.
The
building
is
coming
up
on
the
ground.
It
is
you
know
the
buildings
rising
up,
there's,
probably
12
or
14
stories
up
at
this
point,
that
building
will
deliver
about
18
months
from
now,
actually
less
than
about
15
months
from
now
middle
part
of
2020.
So
that's
that
first
day
is
really
well
here
to
focus
on
the
actual
city
of
focus
on
this
project
here,
which
is
called
on
congress
WPB
to.
R
Scarpelli
plan
is
where
we've
worked
with
many
of
you
on
this
file.
Fews
the
site
plan,
we've
gone
back
from
the
cottage
we
worked
with
btv
and
back
reports
on
the
cmp
plan.
There
are
a
lot
of
the
prep
work
that
we
need
to
make
this
pat
prep
ready
and
then
we'll
be
back
in
front
with
a
series
of
other.
You
know
as
needed
with
things
like
the
tap
and
addition
the
tower
itself
sort
of
our
go
for
basic.
R
M
Q
Know
where
that
is,
you
know
that
garage
has
been
an
ugly
eyesore
in
downtown
Boston,
since
the
day
was
built,
so
this
next
process
is
akin
to
ripping
the
band-aid
off
of
you
know
something,
but
that's
essentially
what
we're
gonna
try
and
do
what
will
work
in
close
coordination
with
all
of
you
to
try
and
make
sure
it
gets
done?
Well,
should.
J
M
C
Q
The
first
of
these
is
a
highway
discontinuance
on
the
Bhakra
Street
side
of
the
site,
which
John
just
kind
of
worried
to
do
to
tobacco
Street,
it's
a
relatively
minor
piece,
but
it
does
allow
for
a
three
intrumental
panel
along
the
face
of
the
building
the
face
of
the
garage
to
be
created,
along
with
the
six
inch
horizontal
fins
that
are
part
of
that
design
of
that
building.
The
total
discontinuance
area
for
that
piece
is
126
square
feet.
One
to
six
square
feet
should
I
keep
going,
should
I
go
through
all
of
them.
Q
That's
the
that's
the
highly
distance
they
use
the
vertical
discontinuance,
also
along
Falco
Street.
That
also
allows
for
3-inch
metal
panels
same
3-inch
metal
panel
on
the
face
of
the
building
in
the
face
of
the
garage
with
the
six
inch
horizontal
fins.
That
is
that
disc.
Is
it
discontinuance
I'm,
sorry
of
135
feet
149
feet
for
total
discontinuance
area
of
84
square
feet?
Q
That's
the
second
one!
The
third
piece
is
a
vertical
discontinuance
along
new
shortened,
Street,
which
John
will
show
you
right
along
with
shortened
Street
that
to
allows
for
the
architectural
fins
and
the
kind
of
the
building
swoop
along
the
shark.
That
can.
This
continuance
occurs
from
elevation
62
feet
to
elevation.
One
hundred
and
fifty
two
point
three
two
feet
and
the
total
area
of
that
discontinuance
is
twenty
eight
square
feet
and
then
the
fourth
of
these
is
a
vertical
discontinuance
along
Merrimack
Street.
Q
So
as
the
building
started
to
make
the
turn
to
a
Congress,
that
too
has
to
do
with
building
skin
and
the
architectural
fins
the
discontinued
discontinuance
occurs
at
elevation.
177
point
three
feet
all
the
way
up
to
550
points
for
to
allow
for
the
fin
at
the
top
of
the
building
the
highest
occupied
floors,
528
for
the
fingers
or
the
total
discontinued.
Its
area,
for
that
is
18
square.
Q
I'm
really
excited
to
be
here.
Obviously,
the
one
key
thing
that
John
may
have
mentioned,
which
I
think
all
of
you
know
well,
is
this
is
kind
of
one
piece
of
a
overall
transaction
that
will
allow
us
to
exchange
and
give
back
to
the
public
a
very
large
amount
of
public
way,
including
Congress
Street,
that
worship
Congress
treat
other
sidewalks
all
those
pedestrian
provements.
So
we
will
be
giving
back
more
square
footage
to
the
public
that
we
are
asking
for
the
public
to
accommodate
to
us
for
this
project.
Q
We've
some
pretty
decent
timeline
run
so
I'll
struck
is
John's
lining
up
these
boards,
just
to
kind
of
give
you
a
sense
of
it.
We
started
that
we
opted.
We
actually
started
this
process
in
2012
and
then
get
the
permits
in
place
in
2013,
but
we
have
a
timeline
here
that
will
show
you
what
we're
doing
this
would
go
forward.
We
are
the
first
pieces
remember
that
we
have
the
residential
building
underway
on
the
corner,
that's
closest
to
where
the.
Q
That's
55
condos
on
the
top
of
that
building,
368
apartment
units
on
the
rest
of
it.
We
think
it
will
be
one
of
the
best
residential
buildings
in
Boston,
we're
really
excited
about
it,
and
you
also
see
the
superstructure
start
to
emerge
at
1
Congress,
as
that
starts
to
come
up.
This
in
2021
you'll
see
even
more
of
the
superstructure
when
Congress
come
down,
and
this
is
the
big
year
in
which
will
you
know
be
taking
the
garage
down.
Please
remember
that
the
garage
is
a
is
a
structured
disassembly
of
the
garage.
Q
Q
We're
trying
to
strike
the
balance
we
needed
to
be
completed.
The
demolition
needs
to
be
completed
before
we
can
seek
an
occupancy
occupancy
permit
for
the
office
tower.
So
we
needed
to
be
completed
in
time
for
that,
and
in
addition
to
that,
we
want
to
put
it
off
for
as
long
as
we
can,
because
inside
the
garage
as
we
maneuver
to
start
one
Congress
and
finish
the
residential
building.
M
Q
Easy,
but
it
creates
this
East
parcel
right,
so
it's
it
makes.
You
know,
make
something
really
special
on
that
side.
So
then
that
gets
us
to
2022
in
2022.
Then
we
will
be
in
position
to
start
to
build
out.
There's
a
small
office
building
that
John
will
show
there
on
that
side,
which
will
allow
us
to
bring
the
buses
back.
Q
So,
as
you
know,
we'll
have
to
temporarily
relocate
the
buses
out
of
a
market
station,
we're
working
guys
to
try
and
figure
out
how
that's
going
to
go
we'd
like
to
bring
those
buses
back
as
quickly
as
we
can
so
in
2022
we
can
start
the
construction
of
that
building.
Then,
when
we
get
to
2023
John
then
will
be
in
a
position
where
we
started
to
complete
that
building
and
also
completing
200
summary
Street
on
the
other
side,
so
that
will
bring
the
garage.
Q
So
then
we
get
to
2024,
and
at
that
point
we'll
have
completed
the
boutique
office
building,
which
means
we
can
move
the
buses
back
in
there
and
have
a
an
updated,
and
you
know,
brand
new
bus
station
for
the
111
bus
and
the
other
buses
that
come
to
have
a
market
on
that
station.
Then
we'll
be
able
to
complete
to
hundreds
every
Street,
which
is
the
residential
building.
Q
That
again
rings
the
garage
and
also
take
on
the
hotel
condo,
which
is
the
200
key
hotel
and
that
kind
of
project
there
2000
2025
is
completing
that
residential
project
that
200
separate
Street
and
then,
as
we
head
into
to
200
2026,
then
we're
complete
on
the
hotel
and
the
condo
peace
there.
So
it
makes
for
a
totally
changed.
They
are
here
for
Boston,
which
I
think
most
Bostonians.
It's
funny.
When
you
see
these
pictures,
it's
hard
for
people
to
get
a
feel
for
it
until
it
actually
starts
to
appear
selves.
J
Q
At
the
end
of
the
day,
you
know
the
the
biggest
change
for
people
is.
This
parcel
gets
created,
which
is
this
is
where
the
MBTA
station
is
today
on
Haymarket
that
parcel
becomes
a
you
know,
shopping
area
and
a
place
that
then
connects
on
Canal
Street,
all
the
way
down
to
what
Boston
Properties
is
doing
it,
the
TD
Garden
yeah,
so
Canal
Street
becomes,
you
know,
bookended
by
two
great
retail
shops
spots
and
at
each
end,
and
you
know,
presumably
becomes
a
very
different
place.
So
we're
excited
we're
really
excited.
Q
H
Q
A
dream
because
we've
worked
very
closely
with
downtown
north.
You
know
since
for
a
long
time-
and
you
know
we-
we
find
that
we
get
really
great
comments
from
people.
As
you
know,
downtown
north
is
a
really
interesting
organization
that
involves
accommodation
of
both
businesses
and
residents,
and
so
it's
you
know.
You
get
really
good
comments
and
very
thoughtful
participation
for
people,
so
I'm.
H
A
S
Q
Mean
our
our
base
instinct
with
the
MBTA,
is
to
try
and
leave
as
much
as
we
can
of
the
below
grant
pieces
alone
and
use
as
much
as
we
can
of
the
existing
footings
that
come
down
through
the
tunnels
as
we
can
without
disrupting
anything.
Obviously,
we
have
to
make
a
new
cover
to
that
portion
of
the
Haymarket
station
when
we
remove
the
garage,
because
there's
no
the
garages
the
cover
for
them,
so
you
know
we'll
we'll
be
working
with
them
on
the
design
of
that
we
want
to
be.
Q
A
Q
Q
The
creek
W
and
need
to
cranes
to
build
this
building
both
at
either
ends
on
the
site,
will
obviously
be
coordinating
closely
with
you
folks
by
the
time
we
get
to
that
we
couldn't.
We
do
that
correctly
and
then
there's
a
man
voice
there
on
that
side,
but
on
the
boundary
street
at
the
back
row
corner
closer
to
Brook,
courthouse.
G
Q
Q
T
T
And
in
fact,
drill
to
be
here
this
morning
to
talk
about
our
new
inpatient
building
to
serve
critically
ill
patients,
and
it
will
mean
the
first
building
on
our
campus
in
more
than
twenty
years.
So
we're
pretty
pleased
to
talk
about
it.
As
you
know,
the
IDM
C
is
a
not-for-profit,
an
academic
Medical
Center
where
part
of
the
Harvard
Medical
School,
and
we
have
three
missions
associated
with
an
academic
medical
center.
T
We
provide
extraordinary
care
of
patients
while
cures
for
diseases
and
also
train
the
future
clinical
leaders
in
all
clinical
perfect,
both
for
Boston
and
actually
for
around
the
country.
We've
been
around
for
120
years
or
more
providing
service
to
Boston
residents,
not
only
on
our
main
campus
in
Longwood,
but
also
doesn't
community
health,
centers
Fenway.
T
This
building
is
going
to
serve
our
most
critically
ill
patients
by
providing
single
vetted
family-friendly
routes,
something
that's
been
a
health
care
requirement
since
2010
and
something
we're
pretty
substantially
short
on.
It
will
provide
updated,
state-of-the-art
operating
rooms
and
procedure
rooms
of
a
size
that
can
accommodate
the
kinds
of
equipment
procedures.
T
There
are
a
lot
of
public
benefits
associated
with
this
project.
We
articulated
these
that
are
bpa
theory,
but,
first
and
foremost,
our
facilities
to
treat
the
critically
ill.
There
are
over
22
million
dollars
in
Community
Health
Initiative
benefits
to
be
distributed
locally
there,
of
course,
the
housing
and
job
linkage
payments
for
the
city.
There
are
400
construction
jobs,
there
are
80
to
100
permanent
jobs
at
VI,
DMC
and
I.
Think
the
first
institutions
in
town
to
sign
on
to
the
$15
minimum
wage,
and
we
have
a
pretty
aggressive
workforce
training
program
coming
to
our
institution.
T
We
really
do
try
to
help
people
advance
and
to
spend
their
careers
with
us.
The
transportation
improvements
public,
realm
improvement,
parks
improvements.
It
is
an
environment,
sustainable
design
building,
and
we
do
think
it's
going
to
be
an
architectural,
a
distinguished
business
and
sits
on
the
gateway.
As
you
come
into
long
before,
Kevin
starts
I.
Guess
I
just
want
to
extend
my
thanks
to
all
the
city,
agencies
and
departments
and
community
groups
that
participate
in
this
long
and
successful
development
process
and
I
do
think.
The
project
that
we
presented
today
really
has
been
so.
N
E
U
You
Walter,
my
name
is
kevin
sullivan,
the
president
of
Payette,
who
was
the
architect
for
the
project,
and
I
first
wanted
to
just
go
over
just
a
couple.
Facts
and
figures
about
the
project.
Walter
remarked
about
sort
of
the
new
inpatient
beds
and
bars,
and
that
and
and
the
like,
but
one
of
the
things.
The
point
about
it
point
out
about
the
project
is
there
will
be
no
new
parking.
U
U
Of
the
building's
size
and
scale
so
the
first
thing
you'll
notice
is
that
we
have
to.
This
is
pilgrim
road
and
Francis
Street.
Here
the
ambulance
entrance,
not
the
patient
entrance.
The
ambulance
entrance
is
going
to
be
off
of
toll
Graham
Road
right
here,
and
the
new
patient
drop-off
is
going
to
be
located
off
of
Francis
Street
right
here.
So
a
canopy
right
here
and
the
new
main
entrance
located
there,
then
up
above
those
floors,
you'll
see
this
yellow
zone.
U
This
is
a
pedestrian
connector
that
connects
the
building
to
the
Rosenberg
building
and
the
far
bridge.
So
that's
what
this
yellow
piece
is,
and
the
blue
indicates
all
the
different
impatient
floors
that
are
up
above
those
levels
and
there's
a
conference
center
on
the
top.
We
will
be
relocating
the
helipad
from
the
top
of
the
Rosenberg
building
to
the
new
inpatient
building
it's
directly
in
the
same
flight
path
as
the
existing
layout.
U
U
M
U
That
same
view
with
the
parking
garage
from
you
reviewed
removed,
so
you
see
the
height
of
the
building,
but
one
of
the
most
interesting
things
about
the
plan
is
the
in
the
added
increase
of
landscape
that
actually
goes
around
the
entirety
of
the
block,
so
we're
adding
street
trees
along
for
client,
Avenue,
additional
street
trees
and
green
spaces
on
pilgrim
pilgrim
road
and
on
Francis
Street.
So
really,
the
whole
idea
of
this
block
is
a
much
greener
block
than
it
exists
presently
to
go
through
a
couple
of
these
entry
points
that
I.
G
So
it
was,
you
know,
a
major
concern
with
the
design
and
there's
certain
things
in
the
design
of
the
building
that
kind
of
prohibited.
We
try
to
work
around
it,
but
I
think
that
through
the
tap
Agreement,
when
that
loading
dock
will
be
accessible
during
one
hours
to
maintain
peak
hour
traffic,
so
kind
of
not.
U
U
M
M
U
H
J
V
V
We
have
coordinated
the
project
with
DCR
obtains
some
early
apartments
release
yarn
to
do
the
dialogues
with
them
on
the
impacts.
So
to
one
point,
we
have
about
a
pilgrim,
isn't
frightened
away
so
to
support
the
project.
Further.
We're
asking
the
public
improvement
Commission
to
support
about
actions
on
Francis,
Street
and
Brooklyn
Avenue
I'm.
V
C
C
V
Vestibule
gets
reduced
to
a
little
under
7,
but
generally
proposing
the
planters
in
the
public
way
here
and
for
specific
repairs
is
pretty
much
functioning
for
a
patient
amenities
because
we're
proposing
the
curb
modifications
on
both
sides.
We
are
requesting
approval
of
these
myths
and
because
of
the
new
nature
of
the
geometry,
we
do.
Copa
Iowa
he's
been
for
a
small
portion
and
runner
always
riding
on
plans
by
the
authority,
so
Francis
on
both
sides.
The
street
there's
a
highway.
These
men
also
a
pedestrian
need
to
be
pinched
on
about
the
geometries.
V
K

T
H
M
T
T
X
Isd
I
know
you've
been
in
a
meeting,
but
there's
no
application
filed.
Yet
we're
not.
They
want
to
point
out
a
good
strong
candidates
in
the
state
variants
for
Building
Code
I,
don't
would
be
the
canopy
would
be
affected
by
that
the
two-thirds
is
not
so
it's
just
it's
a
building
called
requirement.
You'll
see
the
two-thirds
under
projections
in
the.
V
X
M
X
You
find
out
you
the
architect.
If
you
do
your
research
and
you
find
out
yeah
you
you're,
probably
gonna
need
one.
You
you'll
have
to
wait
to
be
denied
by
house.
Okay,
there's
the
vehicle
to
go
for
the
state
for
the
variance
oppose
it.
That's
fine!
If
you
propose
something
it's
in
compliance
and
it
won't
come
up,
you
think,
is
essential.
That
has
to
be
done.
Typically,
the
preparing
to
process
works
that
we
deny
the
permit
for
one
reason
or
another
building
code
in
zoning
saltwater
and.
M
V
Just
in
terms
of
the
context,
as
we
work
through
this
issue,
understanding
a
little
bit
of
a
deliberate
infrastructure
on
the
canopy
there's
an
existing
major
duct
bank,
that's
used
by
every
source
that
may
attempt
to
provide
power,
which
is
which
is
there
or
remain
there
and
be
accessible
under
this,
which
pretty
much
takes.
The
entire
tira
portion
way
that
we're
proposing
to
occupy
the
canopy
with
so.
M
D
V
V
G
V
C
V
H
V
Trips
are
in
in
hospital
environments
you're
here
to
be
with
young
people
with
mobility
challenges,
so
you
try
to
take
maximum
extent
that
you
can
and
it
affords
in
the
context
of
the
street
network.
Here
we
didn't
want
people
stop
you're
too
close
to
Brooklyn
Avenue,
so
we
tried
to
strike
a
balance
for
the
length.
If
you
visit
many
of
Boston's
hospitals,
they
suffer
from
a
lack
of
that
curbside
zone.
So.
V
V
A
V
G
A
V
S
S
Excavation
generally,
the
internally
braced,
however,
due
to
some
existing
conditions,
Francis
and
pilgrim,
we're
proposing
five
temporary
tiebacks
at
the
part
of
Francis
and
pilgrim,
and
that
will
allow
us
to
accommodate
some
system
conditions
rather
than
the
foundations
that
would
otherwise
prevent
us
from
fully
internally
based
system.
So.
S
S
D
T
A
E
W
Y
I'm,
less
channels
guess
I'm,
with
GTR
we're
retained
by
west
v
development
to
help
them
with
the
geotechnical
portions
of
the
project
and
on
this
project
there
is
a
gonna,
be
about
a
12
foot
cut.
Maybe
some
areas
deeper
as
we
approach
towards
the
bridge
which
crosses
over
the
south
boston
bypass
road
in
that
area.
It
might
be
20
feet
deeper.
Y
So
so
we
had
a
temporarily
restrain
or
retain
the
earth
as
they
did
their
excavation
for
the
foundations
and
it
required
coming
down
West
5th
Street
and
going
over
a
long,
B
Street,
and
then
it
would
daylight
out
as
they
sloped
up
and
on
the
bypass
road.
It's
at
that.
The
bottom
of
footing
is
about
the
same
level
as
the
bypass
road.
So
we
looked
at
various
alternatives
for
earth
retention.
Y
Some
were
sheeting,
some
were
soldier,
piles
and
lagging,
and
then
of
course
we
looked
at
soil
nail
wall
and
we
deem
that
the
soil
nail
wall
was
really
the
only
viable
solution
for
a
couple
reasons.
One
was
it
didn't,
have
any
vibration
concerns
compared
to
the
sheathing
or
the
soldier,
pile
insulation
and
then
putting
in
the
soldier.
Y
Piles
was
a
little
concern
for
us
because,
there's
a
after
you
get
down
below
the
bottom
of
cut,
there's
a
sand
layer
and
then
below
that
as
a
clay,
layer
and
I
didn't
think
we
could
support
the
soldier
piles
of
sheeting
effectively
in
that
material,
so
required
putting
soil
soil
nail
wall
in
there
to
get
the
earth
retention
so
you're.
Looking
at
the
plans
now,
so
you
can
see
where
the
soil
nails
project
out
there
about
20
feet
long
and
go
into
the
streets.
D
Y
J
A
Z
Z
This
is
an
unusually
complex
and
interesting
project.
In
a
moment,
John
Sulton
will
give
you
an
overview
of
it.
It
involves
significant
new
construction.
The
substantial
rehabilitation
of
some
wonderful
historic
election
was
decided
to
be
severely
dilapidated
over
number
of
decades
and
the
preservation
of
some
really
remarkable
green
space
at
the
site.
This
is
the
back
side
of
the
hill.
We're
seeing
Elizabeth
Hospital
is
in
Brighton
the
construction,
which
is
underway.
Z
It's
taking
place
at
the
top
of
the
hill,
about
specific
repairs,
proposals
for
the
fool
adult
that
intersection
we've
working
through
that
as
construction
is
ongoing
from
a
regulatory
standpoint
at
the
end
of
2017,
the
BPD
a
approved
the
project
and
in
quick
succession,
his
own
commission
plan
development
area
for
the
site.
So
that
means
the
ring
toward
back.
John
Sullivan
will
introduce
you
to
this
project.
P
Academy
warp,
so
domination
is
a
very
interesting
and
exciting
project
for
new
construction
buildings
which
surrounds
the
search
who
think
it
was
monastery
both
or
which
closed
down
approximately
15
years
ago.
Abandoned
property
was
used,
as
primarily
as
part
of
the
hospital
until
we
purchase
it
stupid
health
care.
In
this
the
senator
said,
really
focuses
around
the
charity
monastery
the
rehab
of
those
two
businesses.
It's
approximately
forty
five
dollars.
C
P
Amenities
in
public
spaces
are
in
the
church,
the
monasteries
at
Boston.
They
are
building
it's
getting
converted
into
27
apartments
in
common
spaces
and
the
Zbornak
building
is
three
of
which
are
under
construction
to
health
surroundings,
scheduled
to
open.
The
first
baseman's
was
the
Church
monastery.
P
P
AA
So,
just
before
I
get
up
there,
so
the
driveway
is
just
just
off
the
page.
So
that's
the
intersection
that,
during
the
article
80
process,
it
was
agreed
that
we
would
do
improvements
to
the
intersection.
Predominantly
widening
sidewalks
tighten
up
the
lanes,
give
it
a
little
more
structure
and
there's
a
lot
of
signal
improvements
that
are
part
of
the
upgrade
and
then
obviously
accessibility,
new
ramps,
new
crosswalks
things
of
that
nature.
H
AA
AB
M
AA
AA
This
is
the
the
other
cabinet
we're
talking
about,
so
how
it
sets
up.
This
is
in
the
interim
condition.
It's
a
five
like
intersection.
Every
every
driveway
and
or
roadway
is
signalized
and,
as
practice
mentioned,
there's
the
plans
to
really
make
it
easy
when
that,
when
that
other
project
comes
along
to
close,
that
driveway
up
and
make
some
very
minor
modifications
that
to
make
it
all
work.
AA
So
all
the
improvements
we're
talking
about
making
stay
in
place,
with
the
exception
of
being
closing
at
that
curb,
come
with
that
other
project,
really
what
you
get
here
is
much
wider
sidewalks
and,
and
that's
really
just
a
narrow
that
roadway
down
to
a
little
more
appropriate
width.
It's
a
forty
40
foot
wide
road
in
the
in
the
modified
condition.
AA
So
it's
very
very
light
today
we're
bringing
it
down
to
a
40
foot
wide
road
that
takes
traditional,
seven
and
eight
foot
wide
sidewalks
to
ten
and
as
big
as
we're
over
20
feet
in
this
area
here,
but
generally
were
fifteen
foot
wide.
It
was
the
new
sidewalks
which
is
great
so
creates
opportunities
to
get
some
new
street
trees,
bigger
street
trees.
AA
We're
trying
to
preserve
there's
some
really
mature
nice
trees
in
the
area
that
were
we've
made
some
efforts
to
preserve
along
here,
but
those
treatments
get
bigger
and
wider
final
minute,
kirbo
so
again
healthier
and
try
to
maintain
as
much
of
the
existing
trees.
Yeah
new
Street
keeps
coming
on
this
really
pulling
that
curb
I
also
have
two
bus
stops
that
were
making
room
for
again.
AA
The
wider
sidewalks
are
going
to
help
the
operations
of
those
bus
facilities,
and
then
we
have
more
traditional
for
like
with
the
crosswalks
that
are
no
longer
apex
ramps
and
we've
got
them
individually
for
these
perpendicular
crossings.
So
we
think
they're
they're,
good
improvements.
The
intersection
essentially
will
be
agreed
during
the
article
80
process
and
we're
really
just
here
to
formalize
and
detail.
It
so
happy
to
answer
any
questions.

Because
the
extra
leg
on
the
intersection,
our
hope
is
that
Avalon
is
through
that
burning
process
and
that's
control
of
the
property,
so
that
maybe
we
don't
ever
even
have
this
signal.
Where
that's
the
extra
light.
But
if
it
is,
they
are
responsible
for
removing
the
extra
signal
edits
when
they
close
the
driveway.

Good
afternoon
good
morning,
Michael
Joe
for
the
petitioner.
This
is
a
this-
is
a
fiber
installation
to
serve
a
wireless
node
for
Verizon
Wireless.
This
was
installed
prior
at
risk
prior
to
the
paving
project
with
the
with
the
staffs
consent
and
we're
in
here
to
get
the
approval
that
no
one
has
indicated
interest
in
participating
in
this.
