this

A
A
Chris,
thank
you.
So
much
we'll
see
you
on
June
18th,
then.
Obviously,
if
you
miss
coordinated
with
with
Tata
on
the
condo

that'd
be
great
excellent.
Thank
you.
Thank
you
all
right.
Moving
on
to
the
public
hearing,
our
first
item
is
on
a
petition
by
Mark
Kenmore
LLC
for
the
widening
relocation
and
extension
of
the
existing
right-of-way
lines
of
Commonwealth
Avenue,
a
public
way
at
Boston

at
Beacon

Kenmore
Square,
located
west
of
Brooklyn
Avenue.
A
A
Think
there's
members
of
the
public
who
have
joined
us
today,
I
as
we
have
done
it
for
a
previous
meeting.
If
you
can
just
put
your
name
in
the
chat
section
that
we
can
call
you
to
be
able
to
provide
some
some
commentary,
I
feel
like
just
a
comment
on
this
particular
item
and
again
just
to
be
clear.
A
The
request
by
the
petitioner
is
to
continue
this
item,
which
means
that
the
PSE
would
not
be
voting
to
approve
according
to
deny
would
just
be
continuing
this
item,
so
that
would
happen
on
June
18th
or
later
a
later
meeting.
The
first
person
to
put
the
name
of
the
chat,
was
Janie
night
Jamie
feel
free
to
provide
some
testimony
to
us
on
this
item.
J
G
K
A
A
L
L
I
do
hope
that
the
new
normal
sets
in
as
we
all
realize
that
building
a
hotel
and
reconfiguring
the
traffic
to
run
between
the
hotel
and
our
home
will
create
an
environmental
impact
that
will
forever
jeopardize
our
health
and
well-being
as
much
as
I
want
to
believe
in
a
fair
process.
We
have
been
run
over
by
this
dream
team
of
experts
who
are
impressive
as
well
and
well
respected,
but
let
me
remind
everyone:
it's
their
job,
to
turn
lemons
into
lemonade
and
overbilled.
This
over
building
the
hotel
will
sour
the
square
forever.
L
Specifically
the
ramifications
of
all
these
studies:
wind
light
traffic
shadow
etc,
which
will
not
afford
US,
will
not
afford
to
challenge
our
the
most
speculation.
Checking
off
all
of
the
boxes,
as
we
emerge
out
of
the
pandemic
into
a
world
of
new
normal
I,
would
ask:
is
it
smart
to
create
higher
density
in
common
areas,
increased
beds
in
already
congested
areas
and
provide
no
parking?
L
Yes,
the
hotel
has
absolutely
no
parking,
and
we
all
know
that
for
many
of
us,
this
new
normal
will
forever
change
the
way
we
view
riding
a
bus,
a
train
up
in
congregating
in
high-density
areas.
We
have
spoken
about
the
threat
of
a
terror
act
and
what
the
vantage
sites
would
be
into
Fenway
Park.
We
now
all
realize
that
this
pandemic
and
the
next
one
the
follows
will
be
an
even
greater
threat.
We
have
no
idea
who
will
finance
manage
or
even
own
the
hotel.
L
L
Bigger
is
not
always
better,
and
we
know
that
by
looking
at
large
cruise
ships
and
floating
cities,
we
will
now
have
to
literally
give
it
who
will
now
have
to
literally
give
away
their
cabins
to
break
even
in
this
new,
normal
I
would
respectfully
ask
this
commission
to
take
a
thoughtful
look
at
the
BP
da
and
the
Zoning
Commission
so
easily
dismissed
our
comments
and
literally
laughed
off
our
comments.
Yes,
we
are
amateurs.
Actually
we
don't
do
this
for
a
living.
L
Sadly,
we
have
been
tasked
with
competing
with
deep
pockets
and
metrics
that
we
don't
understand
to
fight
for
our
right
to
maintain
the
zoning
ordinance
that
were
put
was
put
into
place
to
protect
us.
Now
we
are
fighting
for
our
clean
air
lack
of
light
quality
of
life.
If
the
pandemic
has
us
any
silver
lining
in
it,
it
has
made
us
all
reflect
on
the
decisions
that
we've
made
in
the
past
and
the
better
decisions
that
we
will
make
going
forward.
I
hope
that
this
commission
can
do
the
same.
L
G
I
Hope
you
can
hear
me
now
Robert.
Thank
you
very
much.
My
name
is
Delores
McDaniel.
Thank
you
very
much
for
an
opportunity
to
speak
today,
I'm
here
this
morning,
just
to
encourage
you
once
again
to
take
a
very
hard
look
at
the
proponents
proposal
to
rework
Kenmore
Square
I
hope
that
you
will
read
or
have
had
the
chance
to
read
the
message
that
was
sent
to
you
by
the
Audubon
Circle
Neighborhood
Association
and
the
letters
the
Association
has
written
to
the
city
in
the
past
about
this
project
and
the
reasons
for
our
concern.
I
Our
main
point
is
that
the
only
way
this
major
reworking
of
the
squares
can
succeed
in
actually
improving
traffic
flow
and
the
only
way
to
justify
the
major
construction
impacts
that
will
occur
in
making
it
happen
is
if
the
anticipated
traffic
volumes
have
been
accurately
determined,
and
this
is
where
we
point
you
in
assessing
whether
to
grant
the
rights
requested
by
the
component.
I
have
to
say
that
we
don't
know
what
the
world
is
going
to
look
like
post
Kovac
but
I'm.
I
Speaking
as
to
what
we
know
now-
and
that's
that's
the
only
way
I
can
I
can
operate
since
the
unknowable
is
something
we
cannot
anticipate.
As
pointed
out
in
our
message,
the
traffic
analyses
that
were
conducted
made
assumptions
that
are
not
entirely
credible.
They
are
not
accurate
regarding
the
same
way.
Centers
project
said
family
centered
projects,
traffic
and
parking
projections.
They
are
not
accurate
with
regard
to
the
Children's
Hospital
project,
there
is
no
data
on
which
they
can
factor
in
the
landmark
project
at
or
in
Brookline
Avenue.
I
They
do
not
take
into
account
the
new
5,000
seat,
theater
at
Fenway
Park
or
the
changes
planned
for
both
coil
Stonestreet.
They
also
cannot
be
accurate
if
they
assume
that
the
great
majority
of
its
hotel
patrons
will
arrive
via
the
T.
This
is
simply
not
credible,
which
makes
the
credibility
that
5
or
6
spaces
will
be
sufficient
for
patron
drop-off
and
as
well
as
some
necessary
deliveries
in
a
390
room
hotel.
I
It
makes
that
really
suspect
I'm
not
going
to
beat
the
drum
here
I'm
just
here
to
say
that
I
live
on
these
streets,
I
walk
on
them,
I
Drive
on
them.
I,
even
in
the
past,
rode
my
bike
on
them
for
all
the
many
project
impacts,
reports,
I've
read
and
the
traffic
analyses
and
the
construction
manager,
plans
or
transportation
demand,
management
programs
or
tap
agreements
that
have
been
prepared
as
each
of
the
major
development
project
in
the
city
and
in
the
Fenway
particularly
has
gone
up
or
rotary
configurations
that
have
been
done.
I
I
So,
when
I
read
a
traffic
analysis
that
says
things
will
get
no
worse
and
will
actually
get
better
I'm,
sorry,
I'm,
extremely
skeptical,
and
if
the
city
is
inclined
to
approve
these
projects
without
confidence
that
the
projections
are
indeed
accurate
and
are
based
on
accurate
assumptions
or
data,
then
I
suppose
there's
nothing
on
earth
or
others
can
do
or
say
that
will
make
a
difference,
but
I'm
here
today,
at
least
to
give
it
a
try.
So
thank
you
very
much
for
the
opportunity
to
speak.
K
Yes,
so
I
guess
I
know
we're
not
voting
today
if
I'm
correct,
yes,
so
I
mean
I,
guess
but
I
guess
I.
Imagine
if
we
were
based
on
you
know,
based
on
what
we've
seen
in
other
commissions
and
boards
you're,
probably
going
to
vote
unanimously
for
this
I
would
imagine
so
I
guess.
My
question
to
the
Commission
is
what
you
know.
K
Great,
thank
you
and
I
mean
there
are
other
other
other
members
that
might
be
able
to
speak
just
I'm.
Looking
for
more
specific
things,
because
I
feel
like
we
talk
about
a
lot
of
things
and
really
nothing
ever
gets
addressed.
It
just
winds
up
going
to
you
and
then
yeah
you
vote,
and
you
know
we
never
actually
hear
back
from
you
loves
to
you
know
was
yeah
what
everything
was
everything
up
to
snuff.
Are
you
just
gonna
just
say
yes
to
everything,
because
I.
D
Mean
I
can
answer
from
at
least
the
Transportation
Department's
perspective.
I
think
that
the
action
that's
in
front
of
us
right
now
is
adding
to
a
right-of-way.
So
like
we're
just
putting
more
public
rights-of-way
is
what
this
action
is.
It
would
be
increasing
the
public
rights-of-way,
so
I
don't
have
an
issue
with
the
proposal.
K
Just
would
hope
that
you
wouldn't
be
relying
on
other
commissions
and
the
BPD
a
to
you
know
allow
you
to
make
your
decisions
because
I
mean
you
are
you
are
you
know
an
independent?
You
know
Commission
that
should
be
making
decisions
independently
of
these
other
of
these
other
organizations.
Despite
you
know
that
everyone
winds
up
voting
unanimously
for
every
project.
It's
you
know,
could
you
guys?
You
know?
Maybe
you
know
now,
considering
that
you
know
we'd,
probably
bill.
K
You
know
way
too
much
in
such
a
short
period
of
time
and
now
we're
struck
with
a
struggling
economy
that
maybe
you
could
potentially
you
know
not
vote
YES
on
everything
and
I.
Guess,
that's
just
stuff!
That's
just
a
statement,
but
I
mean
I
that
that's
it's
a
little.
You
know
it's
a
little
demoralizing
when
you
just
see
you
know
Commission's
just
vote
YES
on
everything,
because
it's
like.
Are
you
guys?
Actually
you
know
yeah?
Are
you
looking
into
any
of
this
or
you're?
Just
like?
Oh,
you
know,
they're
gonna
be
upset.
A
A
All
right
hearing,
none
the
request
from
the
petitioner,
was
to
a
continuous
item
for
until
our
next
PSE
meeting,
which
is
to
continue
it
until
June
18,
which
we
can
entertain
a
motion
on
just
one
note
for
the
members
of
the
public
and
just
in
general,
there
are,
as
Amy
noted,
there
are
two
separate
actions
here.
The
first
is
a
winding
and
relocation.
Second,
a
specific
repair.
D
A
All
in
favor
aye
so
moved
moving
on
to
our
next
item
on
a
petition
by
Mark
Kenmore
LLC
for
the
making
of
specific
repairs
within
the
following
public
way,
as
in
Boston
Proper,
consisting
of
curb
realignment,
roadway
and
sidewalk
reconstruction,
as
well
as
new
and
relocated
pedestrian
ramps
and
driveway
curb
cuts.
The
locations
are
Commonwealth
Avenue
at
address
number
562
574
generally
at
Beacon
Street
/,
Kenmore,
Square
and
beacon
3
generally
at
Commonwealth
Avenue
/,
Kenmore
Square.
This
was
new
business
on
April,
23rd
2020.
A
E
That
is
extremely
hard
to
believe
because,
as
Dolores
said,
all
we
have
to
do
is
go
on
the
traffic
that
we
know
now,
and
the
traffic
lights
that
are
stoplights,
leading
into
Kenmore
Square,
specifically
at
the
current
Citizens
Bank
building
for
Commonwealth
Avenue,
coming
in
from
the
West
at
the
Buckminster
Hotel
Beacon
Street,
coming
in
from
the
West
and
Raleigh
Street,
coming
in
from
the
east
on
Beacon
Street
and
Commonwealth
Avenue,
those
stoplights
already
get
very
back
job
and
the
stoplight
in
front
of
the
buck.
Mr.
E
As
fact-
and
it's
really
time
considering
your
public
duty
as
officials
who
are
supposed
to
help
improve
the
public
way
to
think
about
what
local
residents
are
telling
you
and
put
that
in
the
same
light
as
you
do,
these
so-called
experts,
who
have
been
to
Kenmore
Square,
maybe
twice
in
their
life
and
those
opinions,
are
weighed
more
heavily
than
people
who
have
lived
and
worked
there
for
decades.
Like
Dolores
and
myself.
I
also
want
to
really
reiterate.
E
Dolores
is
concerned
about
how
the
traffic
and
the
traffic
studies
that
have
done
have
been
have
not
taken
into
consideration.
The
5000
repeat:
5,000
cars
that
are
supposed
to
come
every
day
to
the
new
Fenway
Center
project,
which
was
also
approved
unanimously
without
much
thought
last
week,
as
well
as
the
new
traffic,
and
that
is
expected
at
201
Brookline
Avenue,
which
is
under
construction
right.
This
minute,
I
can
hear
it
and
the
construction
of
the
children's
hospital
project
at
819
Beacon.
E
All
three
of
those
new
buildings
are
enormous
and
will
generate
traffic
coming
and
going
not
just
for
the
people
who
work
there,
but
all
the
deliveries
that
are
going
to
be
necessary
and
to
not
have
included
the
traffic
heading
to
those
three
buildings
which
are
within
1/8
of
a
mile
or
1/10
of
a
mile
of
Kenmore
Square
and
then
to
say
these.
This
new
configuration
is
perfectly
fine.
Is
absurd
and
I
really
hope
that
with
this
continuance
that
has
been
requested
today,
you
will.
E
So
again,
if
you
could,
please
look
at
that
more
carefully
and
picture
yourself
in
a
car
stuck
the
recline
in
front
of
the
Buckminster
hotel
for
20
minutes,
or
you
can
even
start
getting
through
Kenmore
Square
I'd,
really
appreciate
it
and
others
who
live
in
work
now
and
come
more
square
and
who
live
in
and
who
will
live
and
work
in
Kenmore,
Square
20
years
from
now
we'll
appreciate,
if
you
could
take
the
time
to
consider
what
I've
just
said,
what
are
subsets
as
well.
Thank
you.
E

You

I'd

within

O
O
My
phone,
so
yes,
Shelley
Cullen
with
access
engineering
representing
crown
castle,
and
this
is
a
project
it
actually
combined.
Two
projects,
one
is
to
feed
a
small
cell
node
and
the
other
one
is
to
feed
the
stoop
the
school
on
Blackstone
elementary
on
West
ghetto.
So
when
I
was
last
here,
Todd
and
Amy
we're
talking
about
trying
to
move
these
hand,
holes
into
the
sidewalk
no.
G
O
This
is
a
micro
trench.
That's
not
really
practical
to
do.
Someone
actually
described
it
to
me
like
trying
to
cut
an
arch
in
a
piece
of
plywood
with
a
circular
saw
so
these
micro
trenches
kind
of
have
to
stay
in
a
straight
line,
so
that
was
not
possible.
I
was
able
to
do
it
on
one
of
the
other
ones
that
I'm
presenting
today,
but
but
not
on
this
one.
A
J
A
D
O
Okay,
great
hi,
Shelly
Cullen,
again
with
access
engineering
representing
crown
castle,
and
this
is
the
same
situation.
Oh,
this
is
actually
for
an
AT&T
site
to
feed
a
building
and
we
did
take
a
look
at
this
and
we're
not
able
to
move
those
the
hand.
Holes
I
did
get
some
some
feedback
from
from
Denise
from
Boston,
Water
and
Sewer
that
there
was
a
consultant,
a
consultant
that
will
be
working
in
that
area.
But
they
said
there
were
no
conflicts
as
long
as
we
follow
these
plans.
A
J
D
E
A
Hi
we've
got
to
eat
that
I'm
on
a
petition

to

This
was

on
April,

O
Excellent
hi
Shelley
Cullen
access
engineering
representing
crown
castle,
so
this
one
we're
able
to
make
some
adjustments
to
the
plans.
We
moved
both
hand
holes
into
the
sidewalk
and,
and
then
the
trench.
When
we
last
spoke
Amy,
you
were
talking
about
trying
to
move
that
trench.
We
talked
about
movie
getting
into
the
road
actually,
but
the
road
was
too
congested,
but
what
we
did
is
move
it
to
the
outside.
You
know
right
inside
the
curb
line,
so
so
that
should
make
more
sense.
O
A
I
A
Very
I
mean
your
your
comment
is
really
timely
and
particularly
for
this
action
and
Shelley,
you
can
certainly
comment
more
on
it.
When
this
project
came
to
the
new
business
hearing,
the
handholds
were
sort
of
in
the
roadbed
there's
a
certain
amount
of
space,
essentially
adjacent
to
the
curb
where
we
are
shifting
into
the
sidewalk
the
furnishing
zone,
we're
essentially
things
like
street
lights
or
meters
or
signs
tend
to
be.
A
D
A
B
A
So
moved
moving
on
I'm
on
a
mission
behind
that
grid
for
the
making
and
specific
repairs
within
New
England
Avenue,

of

sidewalk
and
veteran

Katrina
Kaif's
street
trees,
landscaping
street

infrastructure
and

This

New

Avenue
at
Woodrow,
AB
and
Norfolk
Street,
Dorchester,
five
sheets
say
February,
7th,
2020.
P
P
Well,
we're
proposing
to
do
is
replace
an
existing
regulator
Station
in
Norfolk
Street
and
putting
the
new
facility
within
the
surplus
DND
parcel,
which
is
now
owned
by
Public
Arts.
As
a
result
of
that,
construction
would
like
to
put
in
a
so
called
pocket
park.
The
plan
which
you
have
before
you
relative
to
a
raised
planter
some
improved
street
lighting
and
a
couple
of
American,
yellow
or
aka
pear
berry
trees,
which
are
consistent
with
the
neighborhood
contour
at
at
present.
A
P
I
LAN
on
doing
that
outreach
with
the
separation
right
now
it
looks
like
I
am
gonna
have
to
mail.
A
letter.
I
would
have
preferred
to
do
a
dorm
and
have
a
face-to-face.
But
at
this
point
it
looks
like
it's
probably
going
to
be
a
letter
and,
as
construction
starts
or
prior
to
construction
I'll
do
that
door
knock
as
well.
Obviously,
with
safety
and
social
distancing
in
mind,
they.
A
D
P
B
Thank
you
for
due
diligence,
and
you
know
we
appreciate
you
waiting
on
us
to
get
you.
The
proofs
I
plan
promise
back
to
you.
So
unfortunately
you
know
we
don't
have
that
for
you
right
now,
but
did
want
to
have
this
site
plan
approved
before
it
was
like
officially
approved
through
the
P
I
see.
So
if
we
can
kind
of
continue,
we
don't
have
any
make
this
contingent
upon
our
approval.
We
greatly
appreciate
that.

Thank
you
for
the
time
noted.
This
is
a
placement
project
moving
the
existing
regulator
station,
which
serves
more
than
4,000
customers
in
that
area,
moving
it
from
the
street
side,
the
far
side
of
Norfolk
Street,
moving
it
to
the
parcel
off
site
off
the
right
of
way
on
to
the
DND
parcel
on
New
England
Avenue.
This
new
infrastructure
would
be
up
to
the
safety
codes
and
the
aged
facility
that
again,
services
serves
roughly
forty
one
hundred
customers
in
the
immediate
area.
P
Again,
as
I
referenced
in
the
previous
presentation
would
be.
We
are
aware
of
the
ongoing
New,
England
Avenue
work
and
our
fully
understanding
of
that
and
looking
to
coordinate
anything.
We
can
with
that
project
to
a
facilitate
that
installation
and
be
minimize
sending
a
roadway
disruption
within
that
fairly
busy
intersection.
B
We
definitely
wanted
to
have
site
plan
approval.
You
know
we
just
wanted
to
make
it
contingent
upon
our
approval.
Thank
you.
Any.

G
G
A
On
a

by
the

for
the

within
Geneva

a
public

and

of
curb

sidewalk

well
new
new

storm

it's

grant

and
a

This
was
new

on
April,
23rd

and
it
says,
shown
a
set
of
plans
entitled:
city

Boston,
Public,
Works,
Department
engineering
division,
specific
repair
plan,
neighborhood,
slow
streets
program,
chania
Geneva
Avenue,
raised
crosswalk
George's
from
North
three
sheets
dated
May
21st
2020,.
Q
Q
Q
Are
here
with
a
plan
that
reflects
the
design
changes
requested?
I
will
note
that
we
need
are
still
working
on
final
outreach
with
the
one
of
the
abutters
to
approve
slight
reduction
in
curb
cut
that
results
from
being
added
funk
out
on
the
northern
side,
the
street.
The
intention
of
the
Wraiths
crosswalk
is
building
behavior
and
speeding
along
with
such
of
geneva,
where
we
have
extraordinary
prime
number
of
vulnerable
users
and
putting
older
adults
and.
R
Good
morning
definitely
mentioned
I'm
ready
now
with
Kittleson
associates.
The
plane
in
front
of
you
is
we're.
Gonna
propose
base
crosswalk
the
curb
extensions
along
Geneva
Avenue
are
standard.
Six
foot
wide
Geneva
is
a
standard,
50
foot
wide
layout
street,
with
thirty
four
foot
wide
pavement
areas
and
eight
foot
wide
sidewalks
on
the
south
side
of
Geneva.
In
this
area
we
were
actually
we
construct
part
of
a
Plaza
so
that
this
sidewalk
area
additions
own
is
a
little
bit
larger
than
an
eighty.
R
R
The
curb
extension
reduces
the
driveway
for
the
adjacent
property
at
66,
Geneva
Avenue
by
approximately
twelve
and
a
half
feet.
However,
that
driveway
will
still
retain
about
seventy
eight
foot
opening.
So
we're
hopeful
that
this
does
not
create
a
large
inconvenience
for
the
butter,
and
then
we
can
proceed
with
this
enhanced
design.
From
what
we've
proposed
during
new
business.
A
Just
as
we
stated
when
both
your
brother
and
Stephanie
serve
just
covered,
the
requestor
of
it
and
new
business
was
sort
of
add
the
bump
out.
On
the
north
side,
the
bump
outs
been
added
that
results
in
sort
of
this
12-foot
reduction
of
what
is
currently
90
foot
all
right,
okay
and
I'm
blanking
is
it
are
there
like?
Are
there
like
garage
door
bays,
or
why,
though,
why
that's
a
long
curb
cut
up
at
our
side.
Q
A
A
Alright,
so
moved
that
completes
our
public
hearing
moving
on
to
the
new
business
section.
Our
first
item
is
our
Dean
Street
Rockwell
streets
doctrine,
Street
Mora,
Street,
fuller
street
Fairmount,
Street
Wilmington
Avenue,
common
Hill,
Avenue
Bendale
Avenue,
common
Street,
Driscoll
Drive,
Ogden
Street
in
Dorchester
specific
repairs
on
ambition
by
the
city
of
Boston,
Transportation
Department,.
Q
Thank
You
Stephanie
Baskin,
with
a
box
and
Transportation
Department.
We
are
here
with
our
neighborhood
slow
streets
plans
for
the
Dorchester
United
neighborhood
East
Zone,
which
encompasses
all
of
the
streets
that
you
just
said.
We
are
looking
to
calm
traffic
speeds
and
improve
quality
of
life
for
residents
in
this
area.
By
introducing
bill
changes
to
our
roadways
to
stealth,
reinforced
stage
riding
behavior.
Q
This
area
was
prioritized
for
the
neighborhood
streets
program
based
on
its
history
of
crashes
on
these
local
streets,
as
well
as
the
demographics
of
the
area
having
many
children,
elders
and
those
with
disabilities.
We
have
been
working
with
the
community
for
almost
two
years
on
these
plans
and
are
excited
to
be
moving
forward.
I
am
again
joined
by
we
do
Don
from
Kittleson
an
associate's.
You
can
walk
through
what
are
purple
to
live.
R
So
the
zone
as
no
notice
on
screen
is
by
generally
bordered
by
Gallivan
Boulevard
to
the
South
Washington
Street,
to
Eve
Milton
Avenue
to
the
west
and
armed
in
three
to
the
north.
We
are
in
a
fairly
well
established
east/west
grid.
We
are
proposing
adding
thirty
five
new
speed
hums
along
the
neighborhood
streets
between
Washington
Street
and
Milton
Avenue.
R
These
speed
humps
are
generally
spaced
between
170
and
290
feet.
The
location
of
the
speed
humps
was
reviewed
in
the
field
to
be
free
of
existing
utility,
castings
manholes
and
the
speed
humps
also
terminate
about
a
foot
away
from
the
existing
curb
to
maintain
existing
drainage
flows
along
along
the
edge
of
the
roadway.
A
R
So
Ogden
Fairmount
are
two
40-foot
wide
layout
streets.
They
both
terminate
at
Washington
Street.
Currently,
there
is
a
large
paved
area
with
sort
of
non-traditional
uses.
Fairmont
Street
is
a
one-way
going
eastbound
towards
Washington
Street
Ogden
streets,
a
two-way
street
today
that
the
existing
configuration
of
these
two
streets
does
not
provide
clear
direction
for
the
drivers
on
the
operations
in
this
intersection.
R
Pedestrians
are
also
having
to
and
with
a
crosswalk
that
is
in
excess
of
70
feet
long.
The
proposed
changes
would
extend
the
typical
cross
section
for
these
streets,
26
foot
wide
towards
Washington
Street
and
would
convert
Ogden
Street
from
two
ways.
One
way
operation,
the
conversion
of
Agnes
treat
to
one
way
would
reduce
the
number
of
conflict
points,
both
vehicular
and
with
pedestrians,
from
15
to
9.
R
That
removes
some
exposure
both
for
for
pedestrians
to
vehicles,
but
also
improves
the
operations
and
the
clarity
for
drivers
on
how
these
two
streets
should
be
handled
at
the
this
intersection,
we're
essentially
creating
one
intersection
supposed
to
side
by
side
intersections
with
the
proposed
layout
at
the
intersections.
Both
Fairmount
and
Ogden
Street
would
feature
curb,
curb
extensions
that
would
narrow
the
individual
crosswalks
to
18
feet
again,
removing
or
reducing
the
exposures
that
the
pedestrians
would
be
faced
with
these
locations.
R
With
the
extension
of
the
sidewalks
and
the
Suites
the
edge
line,
we
are
creating
a
series
of
four
four
directional
ramps.
I
can
note
that
the
existing
pedestrian
ramp
on
the
north
side
of
Fairmont
and
Washington
Street
is
a
compliant
ramp,
so
we're
adding
three
three
new
pedestrian
ramps
that
are
fully
accessible
to
to
all
people,
walking
we're
navigating
the
sidewalks
in
the
neighborhood.
A
J
A
Q
We
have
coordinated
the
design
of
this
area
to
correspond
with
the
design
of
the
area
that
we
just
spoke
about
again
prioritized
about
two
years
ago,
based
on
the
volume
or
the
trait
on
these
local
streets,
as
well
as
the
demographics
of
the
area
being
high
with
a
number
of
households
with
children,
elders
and
people
with
disabilities.
There's
also
high
school
located
within
this
zone,
and
we
are
proposing
a
series
of
speed,
humps
and
other
changes
to
make
these
streets
safer
and
slower
improve
the
quality
of
life.
Q
We
are
also
introducing
race
crossings,
milk,
where
today
we
observe
high
numbers
of
pedestrians
crossing
the
street.
There
are
no
existing
crosswalks
over
Milton
Ave
in
this
area,
so
these
are
also
the
new
crosswalk
locations
and
joined
by
or
do
not
known
associates.
You
can
walk
through
the
details
of
the
design
work,
something.
R
R
R
As
Stephanie
mentioned,
actually,
I
will
to
start
first
with
the
new
pedestrian
ramp
at
Evans
and
Edward
Avenue.
We
are
proposing
to
construct
a
new
pedestrian
ramp
within
the
existing
sidewalk
in
this
location
because
of
the
adjacent
playground
in
the
northwest
corner
of
Bedford
Avenue
and
Evans
Street.
This
location
would
allow
us
to
install
a
new
cross,
walk
across
7th
Street
to
improve
circulation
for
pedestrian
and
access
to
to
that
playground.
Any
questions
about
pedestrian
ramp
before
I
move
over
to
the
right
crosswalks
just.
A
R
So,
along
Milton,
Avenue,
heaven,
Street
and
Rockville
Avenue
are
create
two
key
intersections
there.
There
we
have
counted
a
number
of
pedestrian
crossings
across
Milton
Avenue,
this
location
due
to
the
offset
nature
of
these
two
streets
or
proposed
proposing
to
install
a
race
crosswalk
that
serves
as
a
continuous.
R
You
know:
access
for
pedestrians
between
Evans
Street
and
Rockville,
suite
Rockville
suite
the
direct
route
to
the
Ashkelon
yeah
T.
Stop,
therefore,
I've
seen
a
lot
of
activity.
In
addition
to
installing
the
race
crosswalk
we
are
proposing
to
reconstruct
or
adds
directional
ramps
on
the
two
corners
at
Evans
street
and
then
reconstructing
a
ramp
at
the
Milton
Avenue
in
Rockville
suite
northern,
so
I
would
the
intersection
to
pair
with
an
existing
compliant
ramp
at
the
southern,
a
corner
of
the
Rockville
Milton
Avenue
intersection.
R
A
Q
A
B
B
R
B
R
R
R
The
next
intersection
is
a
similar
layout
apologize
for
the
change
in
direction,
so
Milton
Avenue
those
left
right,
but
it's
oriented
north.
We
have
another
series
of
two
side-by-side
T
intersections
between
Elm
Street
in
Milton,
Avenue,
Moore,
Street
and
Milton
Avenue.
There
are
no
existing
crosswalks
or
another
two
blocks
south
at
Fairmount.
R
This
was
another
location
where
we
have
documented
pedestrian
crossings
across
Milton
Avenue,
and
we
were
proposing
to
install
a
race
crosswalk
to
create
a
continuous
flow
for
pedestrians
and
accessibility
between
Selden
and
Maura
for
the
east-west
movements
of
people
walking
in
the
neighborhood
because
of
some
utility
constrains
a
corner
of
Selden
Street
and
Milton
Avenue.
We're
also
proposing
to
install
a
standard
six-foot,
curb
extension
on
Milton
Avenue,
narrowing
it
down
to
20
feet
this
location.
R
Removal
and
relocation
of
an
existing
hydrant
along
Selden
Dena
Southern
Street,
due
to
the
change
in
alignment
on
Milton
Avenue.
The
curb
extension
actually
creates
a
better
alignment
for
the
crosswalk
on
Selden
by
making
a
crosswalk
that's
facilitated
by
the
new
proposed
pedestrian
ramps,
more
visible
to
the
drivers
on
Milton
Avenue.
A
R
So
this
would
be
a
transition
to
inform
the
driver
of
the
change
in
alignment
and
and
give
driving
public
an
opportunity
to
to
notice
the
curb
of
a
bump
out
for
the
race
boss,
walk
with
the
proposed
B
alignment
of
the
curb
line
on
the
north
side
of
7th
Street
on
open
Avenue,
we're
also
proposing
to
close
a
negative
thing,
driveway
opening
which
no
longer
serves
a
carport
or
the
property
at
105
northern
Avenue.
We
are
contacting
the
owner
at
this
property.
R
They
will
maintain
access
their
active
driver,
which
is
located
just
north
of
the
location
that
we're
proposing
to
close
again
Milton
Avenue
drains
south
to
north.
With
that
change,
we're
proposing
to
remove
an
existing
drainage
Inlet
and
build
a
new
great
drainage,
and
let
that
connects
to
an
existing
manhole
that
will
remain
in
place
and
provide
a
drainage
Inlet
where
their
gutter
mouth
and
just
north
or
sorry,
just
south
of
the
proposed
rates.
Crosswalk
right.
A
Just
to
confirm
this
might
also
be
a
question
for
Todd
we're
not
closing
a
not
even
like
we're
closing
a
curb
cut
at
105.
It
is
it's
sort
of
like
access
to
a
below
grade.
Carport.
Is
that
right
and
correct
okay
and
they
have
they
haven't
been
contacted
yet
because
it
does
this,
does
this
action
require
the
approval
of
the
residents
of
105?
R
A
J
A
All
right,
I,
so
we'll
see
you
back
on
this
one
as
well
in
four
weeks
with
some
outreach
and
some
small
changes
in
that
particular
location
right.
Thank
you.
Thank
you
all
right.
Moving
on
to
our
third
item:
West
Elm
Street
Deli
Street
craftsman,
Street,
Lorna,
Road
Dorchester,
prepares
on
a
pitch
in
medicine.
Q
Hi
I'm
Stephanie
semuc
opossum
Transportation
Department
our
neighborhood
streets
down
in
the
West
Sheldon
tempest
in
immediate
neighborhood.
In
this
neighborhood
we
have
documented
quite
a
lot
of
speeding,
particularly
on
West
Selden
streets.
So
working
with
the
residents,
we
have
developed
a
plan
to
implement
speed
humps
through
the
area
to
help
slow
traffic,
the
quality
of
life
for
the
residents.
Like
the
other
zones.
This
area
was
prioritize
based
on
the
crash
rate
on
these
local
streets,
as
well
as
many
household
with
children
that
population
older
adults
and
those
with
disabilities
to
switch
things
up.
S
This
is
deriving
from
the
overall
geometry
of
the
neighborhood
itself:
two
different
Street
layouts,
as
well
as
the
utility
castings
and
all
the
utilities
installed
within
the
roadways
as
they
are
summe
and
the
locations
are.
The
speed.
Humps
have
been
checked
for
those
utility
gases
to
make
sure
we're
not
lining
up
in
front
of
anything,
including
utilities,
so,
but
also
driveways
whatnot.
G
S
That
is
pretty
much
it
for
the
speed
humps
as
the
as
the
main
thing
that's
going
on
here.
I
know.
If
there's
any
questions
on
that
cool
all
right,
okay,
I
will
move
into
the
only
other
area
where
we're
looking
to
do
any
really
physical
construction,
which
are
two
intersections
I'm,
going
to
stay
on
this
page,
what
a
lab
at
West,
Seventh,
Street
and
Henry
Qing
and
West
Seventh
Street.
S
We
are
looking
at
just
replacing
some
curb
ramps
in
these
locations
and
adding
a
new
one
on
the
eastern
side
of
West
Selden
street.
Currently
there
are
no
east/west
crossings
of
West
Elm
Street
between
Morton
Street
and
Crossman
in
the
south,
so
we'll
be
adding
in
two
east/west
crossings
by
redoing
the
ramps
at
both
of
those
locations.
These
will
be
done
in
the
field
by
public
works.
S
So
they've
agreed
to
do
this,
and
this
is
the
the
most
effective
way
for
us
to
move
forward
with
these
plans
in
the
design
is
to
have
them
accomplish
those.
There
are
already
curb
ramps
that
exist:
north
and
south,
along
West,
Elm
Street,
on
the
Woodell
side
and
on
the
henry
qi
side
going
north
south.
So
those
will
be
those
will
be
redone
to
for
alignment
purposes
and
to
put
in
strike
crosswalks
which
are
not
there
currently.
S
A
Was
these
nope?
That's
great
I
think
there's
a
question:
maybe
it's
for
Stephanie,
maybe
it's
actually
for
me
like.
We
have
at
least
three,
if
not
four
contiguous
and
neighborhoods
those
streets,
three,
which
we
reviewed
today:
construction
coordination
across
all
three.
We
started
those.
What
that
conversation
would
then
look
like.
J
A
A
M
Good
afternoon,
commissioners,
my
name
is
John
monicelli
representing
the
Boston
Transportation
Department
I'm
joined
here
by
represented
from
our
consultants,
Howard
Stein
Hudson,
we're
presenting
the
redesign
for
the
trim
on
street
corner
in
the
south
end
between
massive
Arlington
Street.
The
quarter
was
identified
through
Boston
2030
as
priority
neighborhood
connection
as
part
due
to
its
mixed
land
uses
walkable
neighborhood
and
the
like
I'm.
T
Hi
everyone-
this
is
Carey
Pike
with
Howard
Stein,
Hudson
I'm,
just
gonna.
Take
you
through
the
details
of
the
design
so,
as
John
described,
you
can
see
here
on
the
Google
map.
The
section
that
we're
talking
about
is
from
Mass
Ave
up
to
Arlington
and
Harold's
Herald
Street.
We
have
a
number
of
treatments
that
are
consistent
throughout
the
corridor,
so
we'll
be
introducing
raised
crosswalks.
You
heard
about
those
for
some
other
projects
that
the
city
is
doing
all
the
side
streets
crossings
that
our
uncivilised
will
have
a
raised
crossing
treatment,
as
shown
here.
T
We
also
are
introducing
bike
lanes
on
both
sides
separated
facilities,
and
they
will
all
have
this
precast
concrete
curbing
as
a
separator,
which
was
actually
designed
in
coordination
with
Public
Works
by
the
city.
So
that's
a
city
standard
treatment.
Now
then,
as
John
mentioned,
we
have
a
number
of
pedestrian
protection
islands
as
well
as
floating
bus
stops
that
we're
putting
in
so
there
are
a
number
of
different
shapes
that
you
can
see
here
on
this
detail
sheet.
This
is
our
floating
bus
stop
treatment.
We
also
so
there's
a
couple
different
shapes
of
those.
T
We
also
have
daylighting
Islands
in
a
couple.
Different
shapes
and
you'll
see
those
when
we
get
to
the
plans
that
other
details,
standard
details
that
we're
using
so
here
are
more
details
about
the
precast,
concrete
curving
for
the
separation
of
the
bike
in
the
buffer
of
the
bike
lane
and
the
signpost
detail.
The
city's
standard
bike
bike
rack
another
floating
island
detail
this
one
with
an
handicap-accessible
end,
and
then
we
have
some
trash
receptacles
that
are
City
standards
that
need
to
be
moved.
T
We
also
have
these
small
pedestrian
protection
islands
that
just
have
a
flex
post
on
top
of
them.
You'll
see
the
locations
of
those,
and
all
of
these
are
designed
to
make
pedestrians
more
visible
and
make
the
crossings
of
Tremont
Street
in
particular,
safer.
We
do
have
some
sections,
because
this
is
the
south
end,
where
we
have
to
do
some
brick,
restoration,
but
otherwise
all
ramps
and
concrete.
Generally
speaking,
concrete
and
brick,
there
are
no
pavers
proposed
and
we
do
have
a
few
locations
where
there
are
the
epoxy
flex
posts
that
are
also
City
standard.
T
So
with
that
I'm
going
to
jump
to
one
of
the
locations
just
to
show
you
the
plan
detail,
let's
go
to
so
this
in
a
little
bit,
so
everyone
can
see
better.
So
the
generally
speaking
that
the
treatments
along
the
court
are
consistent.
So,
for
example,
here
at
Wooster
Street,
as
I
mentioned,
we
have
the
raised
crossings
across
Worcester
Street
as
the
side
street
and
we've
gone
through,
we're
actually
a
submit.
T
We've
submitted
a
hundred-percent
design,
so
we're
a
little
bit
farther
along
than
normal
and
we've
had
quite
extensive
comments
from
public
works
from
all
departments
of
vtd,
Public,
Works
engineering
and
construction,
Boston,
Water
and
Sewer,
and
street
lighting.
So
we've
going
through
all
of
these
to
make
sure
that
we've
got
all
our
detail
as
well,
and
so
you
can
see
the
different
shapes
of
islands,
the
intent
of
which
is
to
effectively
shorten
these
crossings.
T
And
then
we
have
these
other
small
islands
which
are
basically
to
force
a
vehicle
when
they're
turning
out
on
to
Tremont
so
that
they
don't
cut
across
this
this
section
of
the
crosswalk
they
have
to
come
out
and
make
the
turn
out
here.
This
shows
our
one
of
our
proposed
floating
bus
stop
islands.
We
do
have
a
raised
crossing
here
as
well
to
get
out
to
the
to
those
islands
to
wait
and.
T
So
this
one
is
at
a
none,
signalized
location,
all
the
bus
stops
are
far
side
and
then,
if
we
slide
down
here
to
Concord
Square,
this
is
another
shape
of
Island
for
a
floating
bus.
Stop
again
on
the
far
side,
this
intersection
is
signalized.
So
you
don't
see
the
raised
crossings
on
the
side
streets
here.
I
think
that's,
that's
kind
of
the
highlights
I
can
go
through.
If
there
are
questions
about
particular
locations,
John
did
I
miss
anything.
M
T
So
as
we
go,
you
know
as
we
continue
along
again.
You
can
see
the
the
raised
crossings
at
the
uncivilised
locations
on
the
side
streets
and
we,
you
know,
ricans
we're
reconstructing
ramps.
Generally
speaking
at
the
signalized
locations,
we
are
making
some
changes
to
the
traffic
signal,
phasing
and
timing
to
accommodate,
but
we're
not
replacing
the
traffic
signal
equipment.
It's
more.
We
did
go
out
and
feel
check
that
all
of
it
has
the
capability.
T
T
So
again,
as
you
as
we
go
along,
you
can
see
the
you
know
that
we're
tried
to
keep
the
design
and
the
shapes
of
the
various
types
of
islands
consistent.
We
have
a
very
we've,
been
coordinating
with
utilities,
I,
don't
believe,
we've
gotten
any
comments,
substantial
comments
and
I
know
we.
We
did
get
comments
from
Denise
from
Boston,
Water
and
Sewer,
and
we've
been
working
with
them
on
their
comments
and
incorporating
them,
so
they
were
incorporated
in
100%
set
that
was
submitted
yesterday.
M
And
slightly
less
visible,
probably
on
the
on
these
plans,
the
scale
and
amount
of
detail
that's
coming
at
you.
There
are
a
number
of
proposed
new
catch
basin
connections
due
to
the
change
in
the
grading
for
the
site
street
race
crossings
or
by
removing
the
curb
extensions
along
trim
on
how
the
water
would
flow
along
that
water
line.
So
there
are
a
number
of
new
catch
basins
that
are
being
installed
that
have
been
reviewed
and
commented
on
by
a
water
and
sewer.
So
we're
grateful
for
Denise's
help
on
that.
T
T
F
M
The
length
in
the
plan,
it
is
a
little
shorter
than
the
front
to
the
back
of
the
full
bus,
as
Carrie
mentioned,
we
designed
it
for
the
doors
specifically
and
that
allowed
us
net
along
the
corridor
to
kind
of
reclaim
some
of
the
space
along
the
along
the
curb.
So
we
kind
of
adding
to
our
curb
use
available.
A
G
T
On
this
new
curb
configuration,
so
we
have
I
think
they're,
they're
kind
of
shown
in
a
in
a
symbol
form.
You
can
see
it
right
here
on
these
plans,
but
we
do
have
detailed
plans
in
100%
set
showing
all
of
those.
You
know
this
meter
and
these
meter
numbers
need
to
move
to
here,
and
then
you
know,
as
you
mentioned,
the
adding
in
the
t's
to
accommodate
that.
T
D
So
I
mean
just
guessing
that
these
are
gonna,
have
a
pretty
high
attrition
rate,
I'm,
pretty
sure
that
the
butterflied
curb
corner
might
be
shallower
than
what
we
have
in
actual
curbing
I
think
we
should
think
about
the
depth
of
this
and
making
it
deep
as
possible,
because
we're
just
gonna
mean
they're
gonna
get
it's
the
reality.
So
I
think
that
we
should
prepare
for
that
and
I'm
pretty
sure
that
the
the
curb
corner
is
actually
shallower
than
our
typical
curvy.
Okay,.
N
T
G
T
G
T
T
And
then
come
down
again
the
race
crossing
across
Waltham's
Street
at
Clarendon,
which
is
also
signalized
again
we're
not
changing
any
of
the
curved
geometry
we're
just
adding
in
the
protected
bike
lanes.
So
the
bike
lanes
going
to
bend
around
the
existing
bump
outs
that
are
there
at
Union,
Park
I,
don't
get
the
same
kind
of
features.
This
one
does
have,
there's
a
stop.
There
move
down.
We
have
a
public
alley
as
well
as
Upton
Street,
another
crossing
the.
A
M
Chief,
it
is
so
weird
the
concrete's
just
in
a
bit
of
a
bad
state,
so
we're
gonna
reap
or
that
and
then
put
the
tactiles
to
cross
that
so
that
appropriate
carried
it
your
Fu,
sorry,
so,
there's
one
just
to
know
you
see
the
floating
bus
stops
that
we're
constructing.
Here
we
did
work
with
the
tea
to
look
at
this
stretch.
M
The
43
bus
is
the
only
route
that
runs
through
here
head
weighs
in
the
range
of
20
to
45
minutes
sometimes,
and
we
we
did
work
with
service
planning
to
consolidate
and
a
few
are
relocated
times,
carry
said
far
side
a
certain
signals
so
that
way
that
the
bus
can
make
fewer
stops
and
provide
a
better
service
for
that
line
there.
So.
A
M
The
stop
this
this
particular
stop
is
actually
there
we're
keeping.
Now
there
are
a
couple
along
the
corridor.
The
Appleton
one
is
a
new
location
because
it
was
in
front
of
a
driveway
at
the
Animal
Hospitals,
just
small
things
like
that,
looking
along
the
corridor
and
and
trying
to
see
if
it
was
possible
to
reduce
the
number
of
those.
T
T
Continuing
here
at
West,
Brookline
same
thing:
no
bus
stop
here.
Just
the
protective
islands
and
the
small
islands
raised
crossings.
I
should
know
we
do
have
a
few
locations
where
we
have
street
light
relocation.
So,
for
example,
there's
one
right
here
at
the
corner
of
Westbrook
line,
basically
we're
trying
to
move
a
few
of
them
to
get
them
out
of
the
wings
of
ramps,
or
you
know
to
make
sure
that
their
ramps
are
fully
accessible.
A
J
T
A
T
T
Proposed
floating
bus
stop
here
and
so
again,
they're
moved
to
the
far
side.
This
is
a
nun
signalized
location
but
they're
still,
the
bus
stops
are
still
on
the
far
side
and
as
we
go
along
and
then
again
at
West
Newton
no
changes
to
the
curves,
but
we
are
putting
in
the
protected
bike
lanes
in
both
directions.
At
that
Rutland
Square
in
Rutland
Street,
you
know
similar
treatments
and
again
we
have.
This
is
a
nun
signalize
location
where
we
have
the
floating
bus.
Stop
is
still
near
side
in
its
current
location,.
T
Again,
Concord
Square
and
West
Concord
Street
is
signalized,
so
everything
is
staying
as
it
is,
and
Worcester
Street
I
think,
which
I
think
was
where
I
started.
So
you
can
see
all
again
all
the
same
typical
treatments
and
then
the
last
sheet
is
at
West
Springfield
we're
leaving
this
concrete
island
that
exists
here,
we'll
get
the
other
treatment.
So
there
are-
and
there
are
still
some
daylighting
islands
here.
T
One
item
to
note
which
I'll
be
reflected
on
the
on
the
sheets
for
the
public
hearing,
the
concrete
precast
concrete
sections
in
this
block
between
massive
and
West
Springfield
Street
are
being
changed
to
be
the
flex
posts,
primarily
just
due
to
the
short
distance,
so
that
change
has
been
made
in
the
hundred
percent
drawings
and
it
will
be
made
on
these
p
IC
plans
to
reflect
that
right
and
then
we're
not
touching
massive
and
Tremont.
So.
J
A
If
that,
if
that
person's
on
and
wants
to
obviously
reach
out
to
the
public
improvement
Commission,
please
do
feel
free
with
any
comments,
and
this
is
the
new
business
hearing.
So
there
will
also
be
a
public
hearing
in
four
weeks
how
this,
if
you
want
to
offer
comments
that
okay
johner
carry
anything
else.
You
want
to
add.
A
U
Good
morning
chief,
this
is
Matt
Moran
from
the
Boston
Transportation
Department
transit
team
I'm
here
with
Katie

representing
WSP
who's,
the
MBTA's
consultant
on
this
project
and
William
moose,
also
from
the
Boston
Transportation
Department,
whose
work
is
made
closely
on
this
effort.
So
we're
working
on
Curt
bond
boats
for
a
new
are
should
say
a
curb
bump
up
for
a
new
bus
stop
in
waiting
area
positions
in
South
Station.
U
V
Thank
you.
As
matt
said,
my
name
is
Katie
Moulton
I'm
with
W
SP,
the
city
of
Boston
and
the
MBTA
are
looking
to
expand
and
enhance
the
existing
outbound
bus.
Stop
at
Summer
Street
at
South
Station.
The
new
bus
stop
location
will
be
closer
to
the
primary
entry
and
exit
for
both
cell
station
and
the
MBTA
redline
and
Silver
Line
stations.
V
In
order
to
maintain
the
existing
pedestrians
base
on
the
sidewalk
in
front
of
South
Station,
the
city
of
Boston
and
the
MBTA
are
proposing
to
bump
out
the
existing
sidewalk
into
the
current
parking
lane
for
approximately
225
linear
feet
along
Atlantic
Ave.
Just
after
Atlanta,
the
new
pump
out
is
proposed
to
be
cement
concrete,
but
the
existing
South
Station
sidewalk
pavers
will
remain
for
consistent
consistency
and
aesthetics.
V
The
city
and
the
MBTA
are
also
proposing
to
begin
a
bustling
priority
corridor
just
past
surface
row
to
purchase
Street
for
outbound
bus
traffic
and
continuing
on
to
Dorchester
Avenue.
The
new
bump-out
bus
stop
will
support
Summer,
Street
bus
lane
corridor,
currently
under
design
by
the
BT
D
and
the
MBTA.
Additionally,
this
stuff
will
also
potentially
serve
a
new
bus
lane
corridor
from
North
Station
out
to
the
Seaport,
which
is
currently
under
study
by
the
BTD.

My

the
core
ethos
from
the
preservation
of
affordable

We
also
have
some
representatives
from
the
MTA
joining
shuffles,
like
traveling,
and
also
larger
man,
we're
here
to
present
the
specific
bear
plan
and
pedestrian
easement
for
the
new
development
at
466
adverse
street
and
the
neighborhood
of
C.
The
e
project
is
actually
located
within
the
existing
MBTA
parking
lot
by
the
Penn
Station
consists
of
five
six
story:
building
with
135
units
of
mixed
income.
W
Rental
apartments
also
includes
ground-floor,
had
a
retail
commercial
space
and
a
2,000
square
foot
public
public
meeting
rooms.
All
the
improvements
among
the
public
away
within
river
street
include
the
establishment
of
the
curve
line
with
a
Boeing
for
a
new
parking.
Oil
also
includes
and
separated
bike
lane
some
ways:
planters
with
new
street
lighting.
As
a
result
of
the
new
bike
lane,
the
proponent
is
granting
the
city
Boston
a
new
question
easement
within
which
a
five-foot
curved
path
to
travel.
His
Biff
has
been
provided.
W
A
draft
happens,
EMP
have
been
submitted
to
be
TD
and
I
know
Amy
you.
The
question
at
the
youngest
week
in
relation
to
the
Depot
box
is
associated
with
the
new
Street.
We
have
enables
to
relocate
those
outside
of
the
shared
use
path,
as
you
can
see,
they're
currently
located
now
within
the
race
pack
purpose
we'd
be
happy
to
answer
any
questions
that
the
Commission
has
the.
W
Sure
sure
so
the
maintenance
is
associated
with
the
land
lease
that
the
preservation,
affordable,
housing-
oh,
is
it
getting
from
or
obtaining
from,
the
MBTA,
which
is
I
believe,
was
that
99
year
lease?
So
if
their
responsibility
for
the
maintaining
the
peshan
easement
will
be
their
responsibility
about
20
underlining
the
owner
is
Jimmy
J,
so
they
are
also
responsible.
J
A
A
Right,
we'll
see
you
guys
in
four
weeks,
and
we
just
coordinated
on
the
he's
been
in
the
LMI
in
advance
now
be
ideal,
sounds
good.
Thank
you.
James.
Thanks.
Moving
on
to
our
next
item,
130
Chesson
Hill
Ave,
led
to
me
a
road
brighton
highway.
Discontinuance
is
highway,
discontinued,
specific
repairs
on
a
set
of
joint
petitions
by
to
live
JJ,
Carrell
LLC
and
the
Boston
Housing
Authority.
X
A
X
Jump
reading
then
so
raychel
vilandra,
representing

to

JJ
Carrell
LLC,
were
the
co
petitioner
with
Boston
Housing

Dana
Dilworth
is
here
to
represent
a
PHA,
so
I'll.
Let
him
jump
in
if
he's
able
to
hear
me
and
also
with
Zoe
weinrobe
of
to
life
and
Christy
from
Stantec
to
life.
Jj
Carrell
LLC
is
a
co
petitioner
of
PHA,
as
I
said,
on
a
petition
for
two
items:
discontinuance
and
specific
repairs,
I'll
briefly
orient
each
of
the
project
and
then
Christy
will
take
over
to
walk
through
the
specifics
of
the
petitions.
X
X
Our
our
development
plan
involves
the
knowledge
in
all
64
apartments
and
constructing
one
new
building
with
142,
affordable
apartments
that
involves
temporarily
relocating
the
current
households
with
the
right
to
return.
So
it's
really
a
tremendous
opportunity
to
enhance
the
housing
for
those
folks
and
also
create
additional
affordable
units.
X
At
the
time
we
submitted
our
petition
both
those
those
were
the
agencies
that
were
most
highly
involved
in
the
article
80
process,
so
we're
confident
that
they're
familiar
with
the
project
and
and
can
raise
raised
comments
with
us
as
well
with
that
I'll
turn
things
over
to
Chris
fee
from
Stan
tech
to
speak
through
the
specifics
of
the
the
both
items
on
the
petition.
Thanks.
A
Y
Like
coming
through
yet
yep,
perfect
great,
and
so
as
Rachel
mentioned,
my
name
is
Kristy
I'm
with
landscape,
architect,
Stan
text.
Speaking
on
behalf
of
to
life.
Here
with
a
civil
engineer,
Karen
Begley
and
our
traffic
engineer,
Rick
Runyan
answer
any
questions
you
may
have.
So
as
Rachel
noted,
the
new
building
size
and
modifications
the
site
program
is
what
necessitates
the
discontinuance,
so
I
think
probably
makes
sense
to
start
there.
So
the
you're
looking
at
is
the
discontinuance
plan,
a
Ledge
Miro,
it's
a
40
foot
wide
hundred
and
ninety
foot
long
dead-end
public
way.
Y
The
interior,
subsurface
utilities
that
are
gonna
be
removed.
Our
document
and
the
specific
repairs
so
I
think
you
can
sort
of
speak
to
that
as
we
get
into
specific
repairs.
I
think
the
you
know,
the
relevant
coordination
items
with
the
discontinuance
are
the
the
the
parking
space,
temporary
and
permanent
relocation
of
an
ad
a
parking
space,
and
then
the
removal
of
city
street
lights,
both
of
which
are
being
coordinated
with
the
relevant
people.
And
then
you
know
moving
the
curb
cut
associated
with
the
ledge
Muir
discontinuance
is
what
necessitates
the
specific
repairs.
Y
A
A
Y
Y
Zoom
in
here,
so
it's
specific
repairs.
There
are
quite
a
few
most
pretty
minor,
but
as
I
mentioned,
the
biggest
the
biggest
one
is
the
discontinuance
of
ledge
mirror
so
we'll
be
shifting
the
curb
cut
northwards
again.
I
guess:
I
should
also
mention
that
this
plan
is
oriented
differently
than
the
previous
plan,
so
north
is
now
on
the
left-hand
side
of
the
pages
of
the
location.
Y
That
legendary
would
have
been
is
is
right
here
you
can
see
my
mouse,
so
the
new
curb
cut
is
shifting
up
the
road
by
about
forty
feet,
the
new
location
of
the
driveway
access
point.
So
just
walking
through
a
specific
repairs,
there's
going
to
be
a
new
pavement
along
the
entire
sense
of
the
project
limits.
Y
Some
roadway
striping
that
we're
proposing
so
there's
a
new
crosswalk
associated
with
the
curb
cuts
and
then
relocated
bus,
stop
some
additional
safety
measures
in
the
form
of
yield
lines
and
then
then,
the
bike
lane
striping
needs
to
change
a
little
bit
because
it
was
dashed
for
wear.
Ledge
mirror
is
no
longer
going
to
be
street
lighting.
We're
gonna
relocate
one
streetlight,
which
conflicts
with
the
location
where
our
new
driveway
access
goes
shifting
it
just
up
the
road
a
little
bit.
Y
We
coordinate
that
with
the
the
lighting
division,
Public,
Works
and
and
they
mention
that
it's
a
Verizon
Pole,
so
there's
some
coordination
needs
to
happen
with
them
as
well
the
amenities
so
we're
shifting
the
bus
stop,
which
used
to
be
down
here
up
into
the
mid
block,
which
is
you
know,
better
associated
with
the
new
entrance
at
the
pace,
Center
and
and
and
we've
been
in
contact
with
MBTA
on
that
sort
of
fits
in
with
their
master
plan.
We're
also
proposing
a
blue
bike
station
adjacent
to
be
the
MVP.
A
stop.
I
should
note.
Y
A
A
X
The
property
that's
two
days
south
of
JJ
Carrell
yeah.
Yes,.
F
X
That
that's
our
132
HSN
hello,
chopper
T!
Yes,
so
the
existing
bus
stop
is
directly
in
front
of
the
general
property.
One
pretty
to
ship
cycle.
Add
the
their
main
driver
for
moving
that
a
stop
was
that
the
current
shelter
obstructs
the
decide.
Walk
again
makes
it
inaccessible
so
wanted
to
solve
that,
first
and
foremost,
and
then
I
thinking
about
where
to
put
a
shelter
it.
It
seemed
to
make
sense
to
go
to
North
President.
A
That
it
seems
like-
and
it
looks
like
four
hundred
four
feet
between
the
front
of
the
shelter
and
the
back
of
the
curb
so
yeah
appreciate
that
move
and
then
obviously
defer
to
Amy
and
others
on
this.
But
if
you
can
just
look
at
the
crossing
and
see
if
there's
things
we
should
be
putting
in
at
that
crossing
just
so
that
drivers
is
there
in
that
area
are
aware
of
their
aware.
That
is
a
place
of
pedestrians
are
crossing,
in
addition
to,
obviously
the
crosswalk
itself,
and
you
know
any
other
changes
to
be
missed.
D
G
D
You
know
decision
between
the
best
path
for
that
people
are
gonna
use
versus
how
we
would
typically
put
a
bus,
stop
I
think
I
talked
to
Sarah
a
little
bit
about
this
to
see
what
is
the
best
and
I
think
that
you
know.
We
agree
that
this
is
the
desire
line.
So
that's
where
the
crosswalk
should
go.
Sarah
didn't
mention
the
note
and
I'm
looking
into
whether
or
not
you
know,
rapid
question
would
be
appropriate
based
on
those
scenarios.
A
D
And
because
of
the
G
like
because
of
where
the
the
desire
line
lines
up,
we
have
the
crossing
at
the
back
of
the
bus,
which
is
or
you're
not
or
at
the
front
of
the
bus,
which
is
not
our
preference
right.
So,
like
you
know,
like
there's
a
couple
of
factors
here,
where
I
feel
like
some
enhanced
ped
measures,
we
should
figure
something
out.

Appreciate
the
presentation,
we're
gonna
look
at
that
particular
crossing,
obviously,
between
now
and
the
public
hearing,
and
any
other
issues
that
might
arise
and
reports
that
you
get
from
for
weeks
perfect.
Thank
you
thanks.
