Description

After decades of planning by East Boston residents and various city departments, the ribbon was finally cut on Central Square's renovation. The square now promises better traffic flow, more parking availability and safer crosswalks for pedestrians. The project was a collaboration between the Department of Transportation, Parks and Recreation, Boston Water and Sewer and East Boston Main Streets, among others.
