From YouTube: Boston Public Works District 9 Yard Visit
Description
Mayor Walsh visits workers at the Department of Public Works District 9 yard.
A
Very
proud
of
the
workers
here
in
the
city
of
boston.
I
went
in
there
today
to
thank
the
dbw
workers.
They
did
an
outstanding
job,
our
policing,
fire
and
transportation
workers
did
an
outstanding
job.
We
had
backup
plans
for
our
elderly
for
our
young
people
for
disabled,
so
I
think
you
know.
Overall,
we
did
well
in
the
storm
and
I'm
sure
the
next
one
we're
going
to
prepare,
as
we
did
this
one
and
and
any
mistakes
that
might
have
been
made,
that
weren't
seen
we're
going
to
adjust
them
and
fix
them.
A
There's
some
things
that
we
will
learn
from
this
we're
going
to
sit
back
down
today
and
talk
about
what
what
didn't
work-
and
I
think
you
know
a
lot
of
a
lot
of
what
I'm
hearing
that
things
were
great
and
everyone
was
happy
and
the
snow
was
plowed
on
the
streets
was
safe
and
we're
gonna
look
and
see
what
we
can
do
better.
I
mean
such
as
notifying
public
employees
and
things
like
that.
We
don't
I
don't
there's
a
real,
proper
notification
system
to
notify
them
in
the
case
of
not
coming
in
early
release.
