A
Hey
good
morning,
I'm
pat
seekins
operations.
I
wanted
to
give
you
just
a
brief
rundown
on
the
marshall
fire
with
our
incident
management
team
and
how
we're
operating
with
our
resources
in
and
around
the
fire
perimeter.
So
just
to
give
you
an
example,
we
received
over
80
call
911
calls
yesterday
in
response
to
smoke,
alarms
smoke
detectors
going
off.
For
example,
the
fires
continue
to
smolder
within
the
fire
area.
We
respond
quickly
to
those
to
every
call.
A
You
know
quickly
and
we
can
take
swift,
swift
action
with
the
other
fire
protection
agencies,
so
I
can't
stress
that
enough
in
and
around
lewisville
and
superior
north
and
south
of
highway
36,
it's
a
busy
high
traffic
area
not
only
with
our
resources
but
with
the
folks
moving
in
and
around
the
outside
foreign
perimeter.
So
once
again
we're
focused
on
responding
to
those
calls
adequately
and
safely,
and
we
really
need
to
stress
that
you
folks
stay
out
of
the
fire
area
for
your
safety
and
our
safety
alone.
B
Thank
you,
pat
todd,
legler
with
safety.
You
know
I'd
like
to
go
back
and
build
off
of
what
pat
had
mentioned
and
take
it
back
to
our
delegation
of
authority.
That's
what
allows
us
to
work
here
and
the
very
first
objective
is.
The
protection
of
human
life
is
a
single
overriding
priority
and
that
human
life
is
not
only
the
first
responders
that
are
assisting
with
this.
That's
members
of
the
public
as
well,
and
that's
why
we
have
these
orders
in
place
to
help
provide
that
level
of
protection
for
the
public.
B
There
is
a
numerous
amount
of
hazards
associated
with
the
urban
interface
hazardous
smokes,
chimney,
collapses,
down
power
lines
and
when
we
start
exposing
members
of
the
public
to
those
areas
that
have
not
been
secured.
Yet
that
increases
the
likelihood
of
a
serious
injury
associated
with
that.
So
we
ask
that
you
stay
out
of
the
the
closure
area
and
there
are
other
hazards
we
respond
to
medicals.
Last
night
we
responded
to
a
medical
for
a
member
of
the
public
and,
while
we're
okay
doing
that,
that
does
commit
critical
resources
that
would
be
necessary.
