A
And
my
name
is
ryan
hansen.
I
work
for
the
people
of
boulder
in
in
the
city
as
a
senior
community
engagement
program
manager,
I'm
here
to
host
zoom
this
evening.
A
I'll
tell
you
now
we
will
not
get
to
all
the
questions
and
we
want
to
begin
sharing
some
resources
and
some
updates
but
know
that
there
may
be
questions
after
this.
The
disaster
assistance
center
will
be
a
great
spot
to
continue
addressing
questions
and.
A
Let's
see,
this
may
be
a
little
different
for
folks,
different
zoo
meeting,
we'll
see
our
panelists
here
and
our
attendees.
Here
we
have
over
300
people
joining
us
now.
Thank
you
for
being
here
and
again
any
questions
into
the
q
a
feature
all
right.
A
B
Good
evening,
and
thanks
ryan
for
for
hosting
the
meeting
and
good
evening
to
all
of
you
on
our
meeting,
I'm
pleased
that
we
have
a
little
bit
more
stable
connection
tonight
than
we
had
on
our
last
meeting
and
just
want
to
express
our
deepest
condolences
to
those
that
have
experienced
loss
and
know
that
we
are
working
tirelessly
to
work
towards
the
recovery
and
then
eventually
the
rebuilding
efforts
on
this
forum
tonight
is
an
opportunity
to
hear
from.
You
provide
some
specific
superior,
specific
updates.
B
A
Roosevelt
we're
hearing
spanish
in
the
english
channel
just
want
to
make
sure
we
have
our
interpretation
set
up.
B
Okay,
thanks
ryan
turn
it
to
town
manager,
magwee.
D
Thanks
mayor,
I
wanted
to
see
if
maybe
some
the
rest
of
the
board
would
want
to
say
a
few
words
just
brief
words
before
we
get
started
with
our
updates.
E
Yeah
I'll
just
I'll
go
ahead,
so
I'm
mayor,
proto
mark
lesis.
I
wanted
to
just
extend
my
condolences
to
the
entire
community.
E
Obviously,
what
happened
on
december
30th
was
the
biggest
disaster
to
ever
befall
the
town
of
superior
and
our
hearts
absolutely
break
for
our
fellow
community
members
who
have
lost
homes
who
have
lost
property
who
have
lost.
You
know,
there's
been
loss
of
life
and
and
for
you
know,
just
the
the
tremendous
devastation
that
has
come
to
superior,
but
through
all
of
this
there's
also
been
just
an
incredible
outpouring
of
support
and
community
involvement
here,
where
neighbors
are
helping
each
other
and
we
will
get
through
this.
E
E
You
know
where
it
was,
but
it's
going
to
take
a
lot
of
time
and
we
appreciate
everybody's
patience
and
we
also
really
appreciate
everyone's
cooperation
and
the
fact
that
everyone
got
out
of
town
as
quickly
as
they
did
and
heated
the
evacuation
orders.
We
avoided
a
much
more
severe
catastrophe
that
you
know
could
have
hit
the
town
of
superior,
so
my
heart
goes
out
to
each
and
every
one
of
you.
I
love
this
town
and
I
want
to
make
sure
that
you
know
we
can
get
it
back
to
its
former
splendor.
E
So
thanks
for
joining
us
all
tonight
and
we're
going
to
continue
working
on
this.
F
I'm
happy
to
go
next,
I
I
won't
repeat
what
the
mayor
and
the
mayor
pro
tem
already
said.
My
name
is
ken
lish,
just
real
briefly,
I
want
to
thank
everybody
for
joining
us
this
evening
and
I
just
want
to
make
sure
everybody
realizes
that
that
we're
all
are
here
working
as
hard
as
we
possibly
can
for
you.
I
know
our
town
staff
is
putting
in
12
18
hour
days
to
to
try
to
get
everyone
back
to
whole
as
as
quickly
as
possible,
and
the
rest
of
the
sport
is
as
well.
C
So
I'll
jump
in
for
a
moment-
and
I
really
want
to
echo
my
fellow
board
members
condolences,
but
also
just
reiterate
to
everyone
that
the
tough
times
are
not
only
for
those
who
have
lost
their
homes,
we're
all
going
through
a
grieving
process
right
now,
it's
going
to
have
a
lot
of
ups
and
downs,
and
I
want
to
make
sure
everyone
is
aware
that
there
are
a
lot
of
free
mental
health
services
available.
C
It
is
completely
appropriate
for
you
to
be
calling,
even
if
you're,
not
sure
what
support
you
need,
and
even
if
you
are
in
your
home
right
now,
you
may
still
be.
You
may
still
be
in
need
of
these
services,
and
I
recently
posted
some
details
of
this
on
my
blog,
my
facebook
page,
my
podcast
reach
out
to
me.
If
you
can't
find
those,
but
overall
just
everyone,
please
take
care
of
yourselves,
and
this
will
get
better
and
we'll
get
through
it
together,
but
make
sure
you're
looking
out
for
yourself
and
giving
yourself
some
grace.
G
G
H
Yeah
I
I
just
like
to
echo
the
sentiments
that
have
been
shared,
especially
from
trustee
swaginsky.
This
is
going
to
be
a
process
for
all
of
us.
H
I
can't
tell
you
how
humbled
I've
been
by
the
outpouring
of
support,
not
just
externally
but
by
neighbor,
to
neighbor
and
the
support
that
each
person
is
showing
to
everyone
else.
We
will
get
through
this
together
but,
as
as
laura
said,
as
mark
said,
the
tough
times
aren't
anywhere
near
over
we're
going
to
have
a
very
long
road
ahead
and
when
all
the
external
groups
leave
it's
going
to
be
left
to
us
to
work
through
this
to
rebuild
and
to
be
there
for
each
other.
H
So
I
cannot
think
of
a
better
community
to
be
part
of
and
to
be
going
through
this
with.
So
thank
you
to
each
of
you,
and
I
I
I
do
want
to
say
to
town
staff,
you've
been
doing
a
fantastic
job,
thank
you
and,
and
then
lastly,
to
the
first
responders
to
the
police
that
were
knocking
on
doors,
even
though
flames
were
approaching.
H
Thank
you
because
we
did
have
a
tragedy.
We
still
have
some
missing
some
missing
folks,
but
it
could
have
been.
There
could
have
been
so
many
more.
So
thank
you
first
responders
for
everything
that
you've
done,
that
you're
doing
and
for
being
part
of
our
community.
I
F
D
Thanks
mayor
matt,
magley
town
manager
for
the
town,
I
want
to
start
by
saying
I'm
sorry
for
all
those
that
have
lost
and
we're
here
to
help
you
in
whatever
way
we
can,
whether
it's
through
aid
or
assistance
or
through
the
rebuilding
process
you
can
reach
out
to
our
staff.
I
do
want
to
encourage
people
that
do
need
assistance
or
a
or
any
other
type
of
information.
The
disaster
assistance
center
in
lafayette
is
a
great
resource
for
this.
D
I
think
it's
gonna
be
there
for
another
week,
maybe
more,
but
it's
a
great
resource.
So
please
go
there.
Also
encourage
you
to
sign
up
for
our
information
communications
that
we
send
out
the
e-blast
social
media.
Whatever
else
we
try
to
send
as
much
information
out
as
we
can
as
fast
as
we
can
so
people
have
it
as
a
source
for
information
for
how
to
get
assistance
or
aid
or
just
notification
of
different
things
like
the
boil
order
that
was
lifted.
D
So
please
sign
up
for
those
communications.
If
you
haven't
already
just
a
couple,
quick
updates
road
closures
have
all
been
lifted
through
town.
You
might
have
seen
that
already,
but
the
law
enforcement
is
still
in
town,
they've,
increased
their
patrols
throughout
the
day
and
night
to
ensure
that
our
town
is
secure
and
that's
through
the
sheriff's
office
and
all
the
agencies,
law
enforcement
agencies
that
have
been
helping
us
throughout
this
time.
D
All
of
staff
from
each
of
our
departments
is
here
as
well
as
sergeant
wolf
in
the
sheriff's
office
and
chief
beebe
from
mountain
view.
Fire
is
with
us.
D
Most,
I
think,
everybody's
back
in
their
homes
that
is
able
to
and
gas
should
be
restored.
If
you
have
any
trouble
or
if
you
don't
have
guests
service
yet
for
heat
or
have
any
trouble
with
excel
they've
been
great.
But
if
you
need
assistance
reach
out
to
us
and
we
can
help
you
with
that
as
well,
we
will
be
sending
out
information
on
building
permitting
process
the
debris
removal
process,
we're
going
to
keep
everybody
updated
on
that
we're
working
with
the
county
on
the
debris.
D
Removal
they've
been
great
to
work
with
trying
to
lessen
the
burden
of
that
cost
or
debris
removal
for
our
residents
by
working
with
the
county
and
trying
to
get
some
federal
assistance
for
that,
so
that
more
information
on
that
will
become
forward
as
well
as
on
building
permitting
process.
You'll
see
those
in
the
next
day
or
two
last
thing
I
want
to
say
is:
the
board
has
been
very
eager
to
meet
with
residents
and
I
don't
blame
them.
D
We're
going
to
break
it
into
three
different
zoo
meetings
for
different
parts
of
the
town,
we're
going
to
try
to
send
information
out
tonight
or
at
the
latest
tomorrow
morning,
with
more
information
about
those
virtual
meetings
with
those
neighborhoods
and
residents
that
were
specifically
impacted
just
as
a
listening
session
and
to
get
questions,
and
so
we
can
get
information
out
to
you
as
well,
and
I
think
with
that
I'll
just
ask.
Maybe
a
couple
of
updates
from
departments
alex
arnell
our
public
works
directors
with
this
and
alex.
D
Do
you
have
a
couple
brief
updates
with
regard
to
the
boil
order
on
anything
else.
J
Sure
again,
our
hearts
go
out
to
all
the
people
that
have
lost
their
their
homes
and
possessions.
We
just
that's
what
motivates
us
in
terms
of
putting
the
hours
we
are
we're
doing
to
try
to
get
things
back
back
in
place.
We've
been
concentrating
on
the
water
system,
that's
obviously
water
is
needed
to
to
live
and
to
in
case
of
other
fires
or
other
tragedies.
So
we've
been
working
to
flush
the
system
taking
samples
to
ensure
that
we
have
our
waters
meeting
all
drinking
water
standards.
J
I
know
we
have
maybe
issues
with
smoky
water
and
again
we're
going
to
pull
in
all
the
resources
we
can
to
address
these
types
of
issues.
We
had
a
lot
of
ash
up
at
our
terminal
reservoir
where
we
draw
water
supply,
so
that's
getting
into
the
system
we've
met
with
our
health
officials.
I
met
today
with
20
to
30
health
officials,
not
only
local
ones,
but
state
health
officials
and
experts
from
around
the
country
from
oregon
and
purdue
university.
J
Coming
in
to
review
our
data,
our
protocols
to
advise
us
on
how
to
get
the
system
back
operating.
We
did
put
a
lot
of
thought
into
to
that
lifting
that
boil
order.
J
The
smoky
water
from
everything
we've
heard
is
not
a
health
hazard,
but
we're
going
to
bring
in
people
from
fort
collins
and
other
areas
that
have
had
this
problem
to
see
what
they've
done
and
try
to
address
that
that
particular
issue
we've
been
working
with
turning
water
services
off
turning
them
on
all
the
services
to
properties
that
were
lost
have
been
turned
off
and
isolated
from
the
rest
of
the
system.
J
We
have
gotten
our
other
infrastructure,
our
streets
back
in
we've
cleared
the
streets.
I
do
want
to
warn
people
going
back
into
the
damaged
areas.
We've
had
a
real
issue
with
nails
and
metals
on
the
road,
so
we've
gone
in
with
a
magnet
to
try
to
scoop
all
those
things
up,
so
just
be
careful
driving
in
there.
J
We'll
continue
to
do
that,
but
driving
around
those
areas
may
result
in
some
flat
tires
so
other
you
know,
there's
just
a
lot
of
issues
coming
up
and
I'm
getting
deluge
with
calls
and
I'm
getting
value
it's
but
offers
for
help.
So
we're
working
through
that.
I
have
a
lot
of
resources.
I'm
available
all
the
public
works
departments
in
the
area
are
reaching
out
to
provide
resources
if
we
need
it.
So,
if
there
is
particular
issue,
we
can
draw
on
their
manpower,
their
expertise
to
help
us
out.
K
Certainly,
as
many
of
you
may
have
already
experienced,
we've
converted
the
space
at
the
community
center
to
really
provide
a
location
for
emergency
services.
So
we
have
community
members
who
are
coming
in.
We
can
help
direct
folks
to
resources
as
best
we
can
most
of
the
time
we're
really
asking
people
to
please
go
to
the
disaster
assistance
center.
K
First,
if
they
haven't
gone
down
there,
yet
we
are
still
handing
out
water
until
that
supply
that
we
have
is
is
depleted,
and
so
I
think,
we'll
still
be
handing
out
water
tomorrow
and
potentially
potentially
next
week,
but
at
least
tomorrow
throughout
the
day.
Until
that
is
completely
gone,
I
think
we've
already
depleted
all
of
the
space
heaters
that
excel
energy
graciously
supplied,
and
I
want
to
thank
them
and
their
volunteers
and
their
staff
who
came
out
to
assist
with
that
effort.
That
was
very
helpful.
K
K
Next
week
we
may
have
some
big
victim
advocates
available,
we'll
publish
that
schedule
when
it
becomes
available,
they
can
help
residents.
You
know,
through
this
difficult
time,
they're
there
to
help
help
direct
you
to
resources
that
you
might
need
and
their
their
friendly
face
to
talk
to
as
well.
So
folks
who
were
regular
users
of
the
community
center
we've
suspended
most
of
that
regular
activities.
K
So
any
rentals
that
were
going
on
in
that
facility
and
the
programming
whether
it
was
through
the
library
or
through
one
of
our
instructors,
has
been
suspended,
probably
through
the
end
of
the
month.
We
really
don't
know
at
this
point
until
we
find
out
what
kind
of
emergency
needs
we
might
have
going
forward.
K
If,
if
there
are
folks
out
there
who
want
to
volunteer,
there's
a
lot
of
good
information
at
the
disaster,
assistance
center
on
the
boulder
county
website
and
on
the
superior
town
website
of
where
you
can
register
to
volunteer,
you
can
also
register
through
our
volunteer
process
and
those
those
needs
will
change
right.
Now,
we're
looking
for
volunteers
to
help
us
at
the
disaster
assistance
center,
as
that
will
continue
to
be
open,
at
least
for
a
few
more
weeks.
I
think.
K
Yes,
so,
as
mentioned
in
the
community
meeting
at
six
o'clock,
the
county
is
going
to
be
setting
up
air
monitoring
devices
throughout
town.
If
you
see
something
that
looks
a
little
bit
like
a
ufo,
that's
probably
what
it
is.
They
come
with
a
small
solar
panel,
and
just
you
know
we
we
don't
want
people
to
touch
them
or
mess
with
them
they'll
they
will
transmit
their
information
electronically
to
boulder
county,
and
that
will
help
us
understand
more
accurately
how
the
air
quality
is
in
town.
D
Thank
you,
chief
bibi
was
with
us
from
not
being
fired
chief.
Do
you
have
any
updates
that
you'd
like
to
provide.
L
Hey
just
turning
on
which
buttons
to
click
there
sorry
yeah,
as
has
been
stated
many
times,
we're
very
devastated,
as
well
as
the
rest
of
the
community
and
definitely
feel
as
you
do.
We
have
many
members
that
live
in
and
around
the
community
and
many
of
our
employees
have
worked
in
superior
for
a
very
long
time
and
have
ties
there,
so
we
do
feel
the
pain
as
far
as
updates
the
incident
management
team
that
has
been
running
the
fire
will
be
shutting
down
tomorrow
afternoon.
L
So
some
of
the
fire
trucks
that
you
see
on
the
road
that
don't
say
mountain
view
on
them
will
be
leaving
all
of
our
services
are
up
and
running
and
fully
staffed.
So
we
don't
have
any
issue
with
with
those
resources
pulling
out
the
snow
and
has
definitely
helped
do
that.
L
Yeah.
You
know
I
I
know
we
did
all
we
can
do,
but
our
whole
organization
wishes
we
could
have
done
more.
So
please
feel
free
to
reach
out
contacts
with
any
needs.
Even
if
it
doesn't
seem
like
it
may
be
a
fire
ems
responsibility.
We
are
always
ready
to
help
out
and
we
don't
know
if
we
can
help
in
a
way
until
you
ask
so
please
do
with
that
I'll
turn
back
over
to
you,
matt
and
I'll
be
around
for
questions
when
there's
a
question
period.
If
there
is
one
thanks.
D
And
then
sergeant
wolf
with
the
bowling
county
sheriff's
office,
do
you
have
any
updates.
M
Hi
good
evening,
everybody
again,
my
heart
goes
out
to
everybody
on
behalf
of
the
ebola
county
sheriff's
office.
The
only
real
updates
we
have
you
know
are
all
the
roadblocks
have
been
lifted.
Superior
residents
are
all
back
in
their
homes
that
can
be
safely
as
matt
alluded
to
earlier.
We've
got
a
plethora
of
outside
agencies
providing
mutual
aid
throughout
town,
as
well
as
boulder
county
and
louisville.
Right
now,
you'll
see
some
unusual
marked
cars
around
town.
That's
what
we've
asked
for
and
they're
just
doing
roving
patrols
kept
saturating
the
area
being
visible.
M
M
Things
will
start
to
shrink
open
in
size
and
blame
around
here.
Thank
you,
and
I
just
appreciate
everybody's
quick
action
and
getting
out
of
their
homes
and
several
lives
were
saved.
That
way,
I
really
feel
for
everybody,
but
I
think
a
big
huge
success.
D
Thanks
sergeant,
wolf,
may
I
think
that's
the
updates
we
have
and
we
can.
I
want
to
leave
some
time
for
maybe
take
some
questions
as
well.
Okay
sounds.
A
We
we
thank
you
mayor
and
thank
you
all.
We
were
able
to
pull
questions
that
were
submitted
from
registration
and
compile
and
pull
some
themes
from
there.
I
would
recommend,
starting
with
those
some
that
may
have
the
widest
impact,
and
then
we
can
continue
to
go
through
the
list,
so
I
can
bring
them
up
and
mayor
folsom
if
you'll
help
me
guide,
who
may
be
best
to
respond,
sounds
good.
B
I
think
we
we've
addressed
that
through
the
the
boil,
order
was
just
lifted
and
some
messaging
was
just
sent
out
on
that.
So
that
is,
I
think,
that's
the
answer
there
matt
or
alex
you
don't
want
to
have
anything
else.
D
Yeah,
just
we're
going
to
be
sending
out
some
additional
information
just
about
some
of
the
concerns
that
we've
been
hearing
with
regard
to
water.
Like
the
smoky
water.
We
have
some
information
that
we
plan
to
send
out
with
regard
to
that
and
then,
as
alex
mentioned
working
with
the
boulder
county
health,
to
just
provide
some
additional
clarification
to
some
of
those
concerns
that
we're
hearing
in
the
community.
A
Thank
you,
another
theme
that
we
saw
and
was
people
wanting
to
make
sure
to
appreciate
first
responders
and
the
town
of
superior
for
the
help
and
how
well
organized
or
responsible
coordination
of
the
initial
response
has
been
so
just
wanted
to
make
sure
to
pass
that
along
here.
A
B
Okay,
thanks
ryan,
real
quickly.
I
wanted
to
acknowledge
our
state.
Senator
tammy's
story
is
also
on
our
our
segment
here.
Welcome
senator
story.
Thank
you
for
joining
us
this
evening.
Appreciate
your
help
throughout
this
process.
I've
spoken
to
you
a
couple
of
times
and
appreciate
the
assistance
air
quality.
I
know
we
we
did.
You
just
have
a
piece
on
that
man
to
reiterate.
D
Yeah
yeah,
that
county
is
installing
air
air
monitoring
systems
in
town
and
we'll
we'll
put
that
information
on
our
website.
D
D
It's
how
they
plan
to
go
around
to
these
sites
and
put
down
an
attack
to
keep
that
ash
in
place.
So
those
are
the
recommendations
that
we
have
right
now.
E
And
matt
we
already
have
three
air
quality
monitors
from
purple
air
that
are
installed
at
town
hall,
north
pool
and
the
south
pool.
That's
correct
that
are
already
running,
so
you
can
check
the
real
time
air
quality
through
the
link
in
the
chat.
A
Thank
you.
We
have
also
seen
many
questions
about
rebuilding
and
some
some
questions
about
is
this
separate
builders?
Is
this
working
with
developers
for
whole
neighborhoods?
You
know
we'll.
Maybe
we
can
start
there.
B
Yeah,
I
think
the
the
big
picture
answer.
There
is
a
lot
more
discussion
to
come.
The
you
know
the
the
bottom
line
is
we
want
to
facilitate
economies
of
scale
and
doing
things
that
make
sense.
So
if
that
means
working
to
help
facilitate
a
larger
builder
or
builders,
to
offer
some
solutions
to
residents
that
we
will
be
looking
at
that
path,
recognizing
also
that
some
people
will
want
to
do
it
themselves
and
we
respect
that.
That
is
some
people's
choice
and
they
can
do
that
as
well.
H
Yeah
clint,
if
I
can
just
add
I've,
also
had
some
discussions
with
border
county
commissioners
and
louisville
of
an
interest
in
kind
of
working
together
in
in
potentially
offering
that.
But
but
as
as
you
said
mayor,
it's
we're
still
at
the
very
starting
point
of
that
want
to
make
sure
that
we're
obviously
giving
individuals
a
choice
but
but
facilitating
and
hopefully
making
the
path
easier.
If
we're
able
to.
B
You
know
I've
received
a
lot
of
messages
regarding
this
topic.
I
know
board
members
have
individually,
and
you
know
a
lot
of
the
messages
are
from
individuals
wanting
to
help.
You
know
they've
got
expertise
in
this
area,
maybe
from
other
communities
or
from
other
experiences,
and
I
think
a
you
know-
a
working
group
or
working
groups
to
kind
of
put
those
put
those
heads
together-
let's,
let's
gather
best
practices
from
other
communities.
Let's
employ
those
ideas
and
you
know
have
that
working
group
can
have
the
the
just.
B
You
know
the
detailed
discussions
report
back
to
us
and
and
have
a
collaborative
approach
there.
So
I
really
want
to
leverage
all
of
the
knowledge
that
is
in
the
community
and
that's
been
expressed
to
us.
So
you
know
I
know
several
people
in
the
meeting
have
have
that
expertise
and
you're.
You
know
you're
wanting
to
share
it.
Others
are
looking
for
it.
So
let's
get
all
of
that
together
and
that's
what's
going
to
be
happening
in
the
in
the
weeks
ahead.
B
I
hope
to
kind
of
get
people
around
that
and,
and
also
on
other
other
topics
like
support
for
housing,
support
for
renters
that
have
needs,
and
just
all
these
different
topics.
I
want
to
get
working
groups
around
those
donations
and
all
of
those
things
we
we
want
to
leverage
the
community
to
to
help
us
kind
of
get
all
of
these
processes
going.
E
One
thing
I
just
wanted
to
add
is
you
know
just
the
the
process
of
actually
clearing
the
debris
here
is
going
to
take
right
now.
The
estimate
is
6
to
12
months
to
actually
clear
all
of
the
debris
within
superior.
So
you
know
actually
rebuilding
is
a
ways
out
and
one
of
the
things
that
we
want
everybody
to
be
mindful
of
are
you
know.
Scammers
are
already
starting
to
descend
on.
You
know.
Disaster
sites
like
superior
and
louisville
the
boulder
county,
20th
judicial
district,
the
district
attorney's
office
has
released
a
scam
website.
E
It's
it's
right
now.
It's
on
the
boulder
oem
website
that
I've
just
linked
in
the
in
the
chat,
and
you
know
what
we
don't
want
to
have
happen
here-
are
for
the
residents
who
have
been
already
through.
You
know
such
tremendous
pain
and
devastation.
E
To
now
you
know,
contract
with
some
unscrupulous
contractor
who's,
taking
advantage
of
them
or
entering
into
a
contractor
who's.
You
know
saying
that
they're
going
to
clear
the
debris
or
they're
going
to
you
know
build
them
a
new
house
for
a
too
good
to
be
true
type
of
price.
E
H
If
I
could
just
kind
of
add
one
thing
mark
to
that
comment,
we
understand
the
urgency,
though,
and
the
desire
to
to
move
forward
so
we're
working
as
quickly
as
we
can
town
manager,
magli,
steve
williams.
You
know
head
of
our
our
permitting
and
town
planning,
actively
involved,
trying
to
do
as
much
as
we
can
to
put
the
pieces
in
place
to
make
this
as
expedited
a
process
as
possible,
but
but
heating
mirror
pro
10.
H
Lisa's
warning,
I
think,
is
important
for
everyone
here,
because
we're
going
to
be
inundated
with
those
folks
soon.
A
Thank
you
for
mentioning
that
and
on
on
the
subject
of
debris,
removal
we've
had
some
questions
about
downtown
superior
and
if
you
know
what
that
may
look
like
to
clear
that
rubble
to
to
bring
that
moving
towards
opening.
D
So,
as
I'm
I
mentioned,
we
are
in
the
we're
coordinating
with
the
county
on
debris,
removal,
as
was
mentioned
in
the
six
o'clock
hour.
Private
property
owners
can
move
ahead
on
their
own
there's
federal
state
requirements
for
treatment
of
that
debris
before
it
can
be
processed
to
a
landfill,
so
have
to
keep
that
in
mind
and
additional
cost.
D
If,
if
it's
outside
of
what
we're
coordinating
with
the
county,
if
some
of
those
I
think
in
downtown
superior
were
under
construction,
so
I
believe-
and
those
would
be
something
that
the
builder
would
need
to
coordinate
with
as
far
as
removal
of
that
debris.
But
those
are
things
that
we're
going
to
be
working
out,
working
towards
and
working
out
here
over
the
next
month,
two
months
and
beyond.
A
A
B
B
Look
into
that
a
little
bit
further
and
we
should
expect
a
more
detailed
report
on
that
in
probably
the
weeks
ahead,
and
I
think
this
you
know
this
whole
situation
will
definitely
have
a
lot
of
scrutiny
over
the
weeks
and
months
ahead,
and
we
should
certainly
learn
and
implement
lessons
learned
for
future
possible
future
events,
and
certainly
there
will
be
future
events
at
hopefully
a
long
time,
but
we
should
definitely
look
at
what
works.
B
Look
at
what
didn't
and
and
definitely
employ
those
as
we
go
forward-
and
you
know
one
of
one
of
the
most
striking
things
to
me
was
the
the
fact
of
you
know
which
buildings
burned
and
which
didn't.
I
think
some
of
that
had
to
do
with
what
was
downwind
from
another,
but
I
think
a
large
part
of
it
had
to
do
with
construction
materials,
and
so
we,
you
know
that's
kind
of
going
back
to
the
rebuilding
efforts.
B
F
I
just
want
to
take
this
opportunity
to
put
out
the
call
to
everybody
who's
on
on
the
line.
Right
now
I
mean
obviously
you've
got
the
seven
board
members
here
and
all
of
town
staff
who
are
going
to
do
this
kind
of
after
action
reporting
lessons
to
learn,
but
but
we
want
to
hear
from
you
all
also
if,
if
you're
observing
something
that
didn't
work
or
that
could
have
gotten
better
with
this,
this
has
to
be
a
full
community
process.
F
So
by
all
means,
please
send
us
what
you
observed
and
let
us
know
what
we
can
work
on
to
make
sure
it's.
It's
better.
Going
forward.
You've
already
heard
our
our
town
board
email
addresses
town
board
at
superior
colorado.gov,
but
you
can
also
find
our
individual
email
addresses
on
our
on
our
website.
So
this
this
is
going
to
be
a
full
community
effort
and
want
to
make
sure
that
you
all
know
we
want
to
hear
what
you're
thinking
and
seeing
and
observing.
So
we
can
respond
the
best
way
possible.
E
B
E
Just
wanted
to
say
it
was
a
a
true.
You
know
testament
to
the
the
responsiveness
of
of
the
first
responders.
They
went
door-to-door
and
and
saved
countless
lives
in
terms
of
just
evacuating
people
out
of
the
fire
area.
So
you
know
the
reverse
911.
I
I've
put
the
everbridge
sign
up
link
in
the
chat
if
you're
not
signed
up
for
everbridge.
Please
do
so
that
you
know
thousands
of
residents
got
notice
through
the
reverse,
9-1-1
we're
still
looking
into.
E
A
All
right,
thank
you.
We've
had
some
questions
about
financial
resources
and
maybe
addressing
anything,
that's
specific
to
the
town
of
superior.
We
we
know
and
covered
in
the
previous
session.
You
know
some
support
available
from
fema.
Are
there
anything
anything
else
specific
to
bring
up
with
the
talented
speaker.
B
I
think
for
all
affected.
I've
been
over
to
the
disaster
assistance
center
and
the
community
foundation
of
boulder
county
is
is
giving
immediate
gift
cards
or
spending
cards.
I
guess
you'd
call
them
2
500
for
someone,
who's
lost
their
home
up
to
5
000
if
they
had
dependents
and
there's
also
assistance
for
people
that
may
have
lost
employment
because
their
their
business
was
affected
by
the
fire
and
several
others.
G
D
I
And
matt
will
that
help
to
clarify
some
of
the
differences
in
terms
of
coverage
between
owners
of
a
rental
property
versus
the
renters
of
a
rental
property?
I
know
there's
a
donut
hole
of
coverage
with
respect
to
the
two
that
are
in
the
same
residence
as
long
as
that
gets
addressed
with
you
know
some
of
these
organizations,
I
think
that'll
help.
G
H
Yeah
matt,
if
I
can
just
add
one
comment
here,
I
I
think,
as
clint
pointed
out
and
and
to
neil's
point,
there
are
a
number
of
programs
out
there.
However,
there's
a
potential
for
underinsured
properties
and
there
being
a
gap
that
has
to
be
bridged.
H
We
don't
have
all
the
answers
to
that
right
now,
but
we're
working
with
congressman
nagusa's
office
with
others
and
back
to
mayor
folsom's
point
about
working
groups,
putting
together
a
working
group
to
look
at
this
topic
and
how
we
can
help
support
you
navigate
through
this,
I
think,
has
to
be
one
of
our
priorities
in
the
months
ahead.
A
D
This
is
part
of
I
believe
it's
going
to
be
part
of
the
debris
removal
process
when
that
occurs
on
the
private
properties.
There
has
to
be
testing-
that's
done
for
asbestos
through
the
state
for
each
lot.
So
I
think,
as
that
process
progresses
and
we
start
to
move
on
private
property,
that's
when
soil
testing
mitigation,
if
needed,
would
be
taking
place.
I
A
Thank
you
and
then
we've
also
heard
a
few
questions
around
green
belts
and
open
space,
both
knowing
you
know
if
the
green
belts
are
safe
to
to
travel
on
and
with
open
space.
You
know
what
what
future
fire
mitigation
may
be
taking
place.
There.
D
K
Yes,
it's
it
will
take
several
weeks,
if
not
a
month,
for
us
to
complete
the
assessments
of
those
areas
and
go
through
an
inventory,
any
damage
and
then
determine
safety
of
those
areas.
I
do
know
that
boulder
county
has
restricted
access
to
all
their
trails
in
the
burn
areas.
I
I
would
suggest
that
folks
avoid
these
areas
until
full
assessments
and
inspections
can
be
completed,
and
we
can
issue
a
clean
bill
of
health
for
those
areas,
because
we
have
such
an
intricate
trail
and
pathway
system
in
superior.
K
J
Matt,
I
can
jump
in
on
the
creeks.
We
will.
We
had
our
initial
walkthrough
with
the
my
height,
my
hive,
flood
district,
the
that's
all
on
on
public
property.
So
we
will
be
part
of
phase
two
of
debris,
removal
going
in
there
and
collecting
anything
that
landed
in
in
the
creek
and
then
going
through
and
seeing
what
what
we
can
do
to
to
restore
the
creek
to
let's
prior
condition,
we're
also
making
provisions
to
put
best
management
practices
around
enough.
J
The
storm
inlets
and
the
burnt
areas
to
keep
any
materials
that
would
get
into
the
storm
sewer
system
from
getting
into
into
the
creek
and
then
we'll
work
with
the
debris
management
company
when
they
go
in
to
make
sure
their
activities
conform
to
the
best
management
practices
that
we
have
for
storm
water
quality.
A
All
right,
thank
you.
We've
also
heard
many
questions
about
street.
Sweeping
concerns
about
flat
tires
concerns
about
debris
in
the
road
in
the
update
there.
J
Sure
we
have
a
street.
Our
street
sweeper
contractor
has
been
in
town
with
a
magnet
he's
been
concentrating
in
the
sagamore
and
original
superior
areas.
We
will
get
to
some
of
the
other
areas
in
town
that
were
burnt
out
to
make
sure
we
get
those
particular
areas
if
there
are
other
areas
of
concern
by
spirit
residents,
just
get
in
contact
with
the
public
works
department
and
we'll
get
out
there
with
a
with
a
magnet
and
a
sweeper
to
get
that
those
nails
and
stuff
out.
A
All
right,
thank
you,
questions
about
businesses
in
the
town
of
superior,
some
specifics
in
general,
but
questions
about
you
know
any
information
about
when
currently
closed
will
reopen
or
process
for
letting
folks
know.
Would
that
be
up
to
businesses
or
is
the
town
letting
folks
know.
J
From
a
water
standpoint,
we
have
contacted
all
of
them
about
the
lifting
of
the
boil
advisory.
That's
what
what's
keeping
a
lot
of
businesses
like
starbucks
from
opening,
so
they're
all
anxious,
and
they
have
procedures
that
we
recommend
that
they
follow
before
they
reopen
with
you
know,
serving
water
materials.
J
You
know
like
coffee
and
so
forth,
so
they've
all
been
contacted,
they're
all
anxious
to
to
get
open
and
we'll
be
working
with
a
number
of
businesses
to
get
them
open,
obviously,
target
I
think
is
going
to
be.
They
said,
suffered
some
significant
damage.
They
may
maybe
a
close
for
several
months,
but
costco
is
planning
on
opening
opening
and
several
of
the
other
businesses
matt.
You
may
have
additional
information.
D
As
far
as
that
parameter
goes,
our
building
inspection
team
has
been
in
in
those
structures
or
those
businesses
that
are
looking
to
open
soon
and
given
them
either
additional
measures
that
they
need
to
take
or
cleared
them
to
open.
As
alex
mentioned
targets,
building
partial
roof
collapse
water
damage,
so
they
will
be
doing
those
repairs,
restoration
and
remodel.
They
were
planning,
probably
anywhere
from
three
to
six
months,
that
they'll
be
closed.
D
D
Most
of
the
businesses
have
smoke
damage,
especially
in
the
marketplace
so
they're
having
to
go
through
remediation
remediation
efforts
for
that,
but
once
they've
gone
through
that
and
done
what
they
need
to
do,
they'll
they'll
be
able
to
open
when
they
feel
they
are
ready.
Now
that
the
boil
water
order
has
been
lifted.
D
And
not
sure
if
we
have
anybody
on
the
county,
but
I
see
kendra
popped
up.
Did
you
have
an
update
kendra
on
this.
N
Yeah,
the
property
tax
issue
will
be
up
to
the
county,
but
I
imagine
that
they
will
take
this
into
account
when
they're
doing
their
assessments.
So
I,
but
it
will
be
a
while
from
now,
because
the
taxes
are
assessed
in
arrears,
so
it
would
be
a
while
before
this
happens,.
D
I
had
re
and
this
has
not
been
approved,
but
I
had
heard
initial
thoughts,
a
consideration
that
the
property
taxes
would
be
assessed
for
the
entire
year
of
2021
as
a
vacant
land
that
hasn't
been
confirmed
so,
but
that
was
something
that
I
think
had
been
talked
about.
O
M
O
This
is
an
issue,
I'm
senator
tammy's
story.
This
is
an
issue
that
I
have
been
looking
into
the
last
couple
of
days.
I
was
very
concerned
about
how
property
taxes
would
fall
out
and
what
it
might
mean
if
there
was
a
reduction
in
property
taxes
and
how
that
would
impact
special
districts
going
forward
and
they,
the
properties,
will
not
be
assessed
as
vacant
land.
They
will
maintain
the
residential
tax
assessment
rate,
but
they
will
be
assessed
without
an
improvement
if
the
homes
were
destroyed.
O
So
if
there's
no
longer
a
home
on
the
property,
then
the
only
the
land
will
be
assessed
but
assessed
as
still
residential,
which
that
assessment
rate
is
considerably
less
than
the
29
business
rate,
and
I
believe
it's
going
down
to
6.95,
but
someone
else
might
be
able
to
verify
that
for
the
residential
rate,
so
there
there
will
be
adjustments
and
that
will
be
reflected
should
be
reflected
in
property
tax
bills
that
will
start
showing
up
in
the
next
several
weeks.
F
Real
quick,
it
looks
like
we're
getting
comments
that
we're
having
some
audio
issues
a
lot
of
people
saying
they're,
hearing
spanish
over
the
english
and
couldn't
hear
a
lot
of
that
response.
Can
can
we
have
a
someone
on
the
technical
side?
Take
a
look
at
that
real,
quick.
If.
O
So
do
you
want
me
to
repeat
that?
Is
that
going
to
be
helpful
and
it
has
that
been
resolved,
as
I'm
speaking,
please.
A
Understory,
are
you
in
an
interpretation
channel
you'll
want
to
make
sure.
A
Okay,
let's.
O
O
Great,
so
I've
been
looking
into
this
issue:
the
issue
about
property
tax
relative
to
those
who
have
been
negatively
impacted
by
the
marshall
fire
and
then
also
how
a
reduction
in
property
taxes
could
potentially
impact
negatively
impact
allocation
of
revenue
to
special
districts,
because
all
of
these
things
are
tied
together
and
what
I
have
discovered
is
the
properties
where
the
home
was
a
total
loss.
O
They
will
be.
The
tax
assessment
rate
will
be
based
on
residential,
the
residential
assessment
rate,
not
vacant
land,
because
vacant
land
is
assessed
like
business
property
at
the
29
assessment
rate.
So
if
you
have
property
where
the
home
was
a
total
loss,
it
will
still
be
assessed
as
residential,
but
without
an
improvement
on
it
and
that's
for
the
entirety
of
the
21
tax
year,
which
you
will
pay
in
2022
and
so
that
your
tax
bills
are
in
the
process
of
being
adjusted.
O
Now
they
are
pulling
all
those
tax
bills
out
of
those
identified
properties
out
of
the
stack
they've
already
been
printed
and
so
they're
pulling
them
out,
they're,
reprinting
them
and
making
those
adjustments,
and
so
your
property
tax
bill
should
reflect.
If
you
had
a
total
loss,
a
residential
assessment
rate
with
no
improvement,
meaning
there's
no
building
on
it
but
still
assessed
at
the
residential
rate,
and
so
that
should
be
a
significant
reduction
in
your
property
tax
bill.
That
should
be
coming
in
a
couple
of
weeks
and
there's
more
to
come.
But
that's.
N
And
I
I
would
echo
that
I
was
just
going
to
respond
to
tom
manager's
statement.
Yes,
it
will
not
be
taxed
as
vacant
land,
because
that
would
be
a
huge
increase
for
most
people
oddly
under
the
colorado
constitution,
so
it
will
be
taxed
again,
as
senator
story
said,
as
residential
property,
but
with
less
value
to
it.
So,
therefore,
the
amount
of
the
tax
will
go
down.
A
All
right,
thank
you
for
that
information,
we're
coming
towards
the
end
of
our
time
together
tonight.
I
know
folks
have
many
many
further
questions.
Disasters.
Disaster
assistance
center
will
be
a
great
place
to
continue
those
questions.
I
want
to
turn
over
to
mayor
folsom
tom
andre
ugly,
to
share
any
closing
thoughts.
B
Thanks
ryan,
we
appreciate
your
assistance
tonight
and
appreciate
everyone
joining
this
meeting.
This
is
just
the
beginning
of
much
discussion
that
we
will
be
having
in
the
weeks
months
and
ahead,
and
so
please
keep
an
eye
on
town
emails,
we'll
be
announcing
future
meetings,
there's
so
the
questions
that
we
did
not
get
to
know
that
we
will
get
to
them.
You
can
always
email
us
as
well,
and
we
will
do
our
best
to
respond
to
those
and.
B
To
express
our
condolences
to
those
who
lost
property
to
those
affected
in
in
every
way,
this
this
event
affected
everyone
in
the
community
in
in
some
way
or
another,
and
we
just
know
that
we're
we're
here.
B
And
and
here
to
support
each
other
throughout
this
process,
anyone
else
like
to
make
any
closing
remarks.
O
Could
I
just
add
one
clarifying
one,
because
someone
sent
me
a
quick
note
about
the
comments
about
property
tax,
this
okay,
so
there
will
be
a
reduction
then
in
revenue
that
is
coming
in,
because
those
property
tax
statements
bills
will
be
reduced
for
those
that
were
heavily
impacted
by
the
fire.
But
the
state
will
be
making
up
that
loss
of
revenue
to
this
to
the
county,
and
then
the
county
will
be
distributing
it
appropriately.
O
So
there
will
not
be
any
loss
of
revenue
for
special
districts
for
the
2022
tax
year
and
then
there's
more
to
come
on
what
comes
after
this
current
tax
year.
So
just
wanted
you
all
to
know
that
so
fire
districts
and
other
special
districts,
local
law
enforcement
schools.
They
will
not
be
negatively
impacted
by
what
is
happening
in
terms
of
loss
of
property
value
from
for
those
in
the
fire
burn
area.
E
To
add
one
last
thing:
clint,
even
though
I
just
wanted
to
say
that,
even
though
the
boil
water
order
has
been
lifted
for
the
town
per
cd
phe,
we've
got
a
large
section
of
town
south
of
colton,
mainly
that
is
still
complaining
of
a
metallic
and
a
smoky
smell
and
taste
to
the
water.
E
We're
going
to
continue
to
look
into
that,
but
you
know
we
continue
to
have
bottled
water
available
at
superior
community
center
for
free
and
by
all
means.
If
you
are
not
comfortable,
you
know
drinking
and
boiling
the
water
and
and
and
tasting
the
the
smoky
and
metallic
taste.
Please
continue
to
use
bottled
water
until
we
get
this
thing
sorted
out.
We
want
to
make
sure
that
you're
comfortable
with
our
drinking
water
supply
and
if
you're
not
comfortable
with
it,
just
continue
to
use
bottled
water.
B
All
right,
anyone
else
have
any
closing
remarks
all
right,
thanks
again
ryan
and
the
team
on
the
support
side
of
this
meeting.
We
appreciate
all
of
your
assistance,
helping
us
get
this
set
up
and
we'll
look
forward
to
talking
with
the
community
on
our
next
meetings.
