From YouTube: Early Care & Education Partner Meeting August 7, 2023
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
She
hasn't
already
and
and
then
I'll
be
sending
out
the
recording
and
a
PowerPoint
for
the
slides.
So
you
can,
if
you're
not
wanting
to
be
recorded,
you
can
participate
via
chat
and
turn
your
camera
off
if
you
like,
but
please
mute
everyone
so
that
we
aren't
hearing
each
other's
feedback.
A
So
today's
agenda
is
just
to
welcome
back
boy.
People
really
I
think
hopefully
took
advantage
of
the
month
of
July
I
know
they
did
in
in
our
world
and
took
time
off
and
did
some
rest
and
relaxation
and
seems
like
August.
One
ECE
came
back
to
life,
so
we're
hearing
from
you
and
we're
excited
about
that
and
welcoming
you
back
into
our
our
processes.
A
A
If
we
have
anyone
from
the
Colorado
Department
of
Early
Childhood
on,
we
love
to
hear
from
them
and
and
then
we'll
we'll
finish
this
morning,
this
noon,
presentation
with
our
a
presentation
on
how
best
to
utilize
the
services
you
have
with
your
child
care,
Health
consultant
we
have
Mary
Mann-
will
do
some
presentation
on
in
general
how
to
use
the
services
that
they're
trained
to
offer
and
if
there's
other
health
consultants
on
on
the
call
they
welcome
any
of
your
input
as
well,
and
then
lastly,
I
just
want
to
re-emphasize,
as
we
do
each
time
that
our
healthy
CE
at
bouldercounty.gov,
you
may
have
noticed
we
changed.
A
To.Gov.Org
is
still
coming
through,
but
we
are
moving
to.gov
and
all
of
your
health
questions
should
go
there.
But
if
you're
getting.
If
you
have
questions
about
sanitizers
disinfectants,
room
Arrangements,
some
things
that
are
not
communicable
disease,
that's
a
good
way
to
think
of
it.
Please
feel
free
to
email
any
of
the
rest
of
the
child
health
promotion
staff.
A
We've
got
people
that
Tori
victorially
and
Heather
houseworth,
Kyla,
Perlman
all
doing
health
education
Martha
does
some
health
education
as
well
and
and
Kara
and
I
are
still
here
too,
for
all
of
your
other
questions
so
make
sure
you
use
the
healthy
CE
for
communicable
disease.
You've
got
people
that
are
displaying
different
symptoms,
you're
wondering
about
reporting
and
so
forth.
That's
that's
your
number.
B
Thanks
Jane,
so
I
just
want
to
let
everybody
know
we
did
just
recently
switch
over
to
a
new
database,
and
you
know
for
those
who
have
had
inspections
recently
I
there
was
a
little
bit
of
transition
quirks,
but
I
think
we're
getting
it
all
figured
out,
but
I
just
thought.
B
It
would
be
helpful
to
share
this
time
today
to
talk
about
some
of
the
changes
that
you're
going
to
see
with
the
way
the
report
looks,
and
also
in
the
way
that
we're
doing
our
billing
so
Jane,
if
you
don't
mind,
switching
the
slide,
so
this
is
the
health
inspection
form.
This
is
what
it's
going
to
start
looking
like,
which
is
a
little
bit
different
than
what
it
looked
like
in
the
past.
B
The
biggest
change
that
I
just
want
to
make
sure
everybody
knows
is
we
have
removed
the
expiration
date
and
there's
there's
a
lot
of
reasons,
but
behind
that,
but
technically
licensing
looks
at
the
date
of
inspection
and
as
long
as
it
has
been
within
two
years,
licensing
is
okay
with
it.
Our
other
expiration
dates,
even
though
we're
on
a
more
frequent
schedule.
B
If
the
expiration
date
went
a
little
long
past
a
year,
but
it
was
still
on
the
report,
s
facilities
were
getting
written
up
for
that
and
we
wanted
to
take
that
out.
So
now.
It's
just
is
the
date
of
inspection
and
Licensing
is
just
going
to
make
sure
it's
been
done
within
two
years,
and
so
now
the
new
system
that
we're
using
is
automatically
sending
this
report
by
email.
B
It
will
no
longer
will
I.
Send
you
a
a
separate
email
from
me.
The
system
is
going
to
send
the
report
from
that
Health
CHP
at
bouldercounty.gov,
all
right
and
so
I
I've
gotten
a
few
sides
to
say:
I
didn't
get
it
so
check
your
junk
mail,
just
in
case
it
got
filtered
out
through
your
organization
because
we
have
had
that
happen.
But
just
so
you
know
to
look
for
that.
Health,
CHP
email
and
that's
going
to
have
your
report.
B
If
you
don't
get
it
feel
free
email
me.
Let
me
know
you
didn't
get
it
because
there's
still
a
little
a
few
quirks
that
were
bugs
we're
trying
to
work
out,
but
the
last
couple
weeks
it
seems
to
be
working
fairly.
Good,
so
that's
really
kind
of
the
big
changes
the
the
I
do
have
highlighted
on
this
report.
Jane,
do
you
mind
going
back
to
us
real,
quick?
B
The
big
thing,
too,
is
the
inspection
result.
I
have
highlighted
in
yellow
your
report.
Won't
have
it
highlighted
in
yellow,
but
I
just
wanted
to
show
you
where,
on
that
report
that
it
says
approved
or
approval
pending
and
the
type
of
inspection
is
just
above
that,
so
that
looks
a
little
different
than
what
the
old
Reports
look
like
all
right,
thanks,
Jane,
all
right.
So
for
billing
you
we
used
to
have
where
we'd
send
invoice
by
mail
to
the
facilities.
B
B
So
the
big
thing
that
we
need
to
make
sure
is
that
we
have
a
good
email
to
be
sending
that
invoice.
You
know
sometimes
it's
the
director
at
the
site.
Sometimes
it's
somebody
in
their
finance
department,
so
just
kind
of
being
prepared
and
having
that
information
available
so
that
when
I
do
my
inspection,
that's
going
to
be
one
of
the
questions.
I
asked
you
is,
you
know,
what's
the
best
email
to
have
the
report
sent
to
and
what
is
the
best
email
to
send
the
billing
to
all?
B
B
There
are
fees
and
you
can
see,
there's
a
notice,
the
fees,
so
it
kind
of
explains
the
breakdown
of
what
the
different
fees
are
for
each
one
of
the
things
that
I
find
just
a
little
bit
confusing
and
I
highlighted
in
pink.
Is
that
when
you
go
to
make
your
payments,
they
are
going
to
ask
you
for
a
program
ID
number,
and
it's
just
this
random
number,
but
it
is
it
won't
necessarily.
It
probably
will
not
be
highlighted
on
your
invoice.
B
So
if
you
have
questions
or
you're
having
issues
you
know,
let
me
know
and
I
can
try
to
help
you
through
it.
The
other
option
is,
you
can
still
pay
with
a
paper
check,
if
that's
your
preference,
but
I
have
seen
that
the
majority
have
paid
credit
card
and
E-Check
because
of
the
Simplicity
of
it.
So
those
are
kind
of
the
two
bigger
changes
that
you'll
see
coming
from
this
point
on
with
our
inspections,
Jane,
do
you
have
anything
else
to
add.
A
No
I
just
want
to
add
that
this
health
CHP
stands
for
child
health
promotion
and
it's
not
an
email
that
we
can,
even
if
we
wanted
to,
we
can't
respond
to
it.
So
if
you
have
questions
that
email
won't
be
effective,.
A
And
that
would
go
to
either
Kara
or
myself,
which
I
think
you
all
most
of
you
have
our
emails.
So
that's
sort
of
an
empty,
just
a
email
that
isn't
automatically
and
associated
with
our
database
and.
B
So
I
did
just
see
an
email
from
Susan
so
by
eliminating
the
expiration
date.
It
has
not
changed
your
inspection
schedule.
We
will
still
stay
on
the
yearly
inspection.
If
that's
what
you
have
been
on
for
a
while
it
just
is
giving
a
little
bit
of
leeway
in
case
we're
not
right
there
prior
to
that
one
year,
I
couldn't
so
I
just
wanted,
so
we're
still
gonna
stay
on
the
once
a
year,
but
we
just
took
the
expiration
date
out,
so
that
was
it's
less
confusing
for
licensing
and
for
the
provider.
A
Here
there
seems
to
be
someone's
unmuted
would,
if
you're,
not
muted,
we're
here.
A
About
that
I
know,
sometimes
it
slips
and
people.
We
start
to
hear
your
conversations,
so
yeah
did
that
yeah
I
wanted
to
mention
that
as
well.
If
you
have
questions
put
them
in
chat
like
Susan,
just
stood
and
Martha
or
Cara
can
keep
an
eye
on
that.
I
can't
see
chat
from
this
angle,
but
please
go
ahead
and
put
your
questions.
There.
Cara
was
answering
the
question
regarding
the
removal
of
the
expiration
date
and.
B
B
B
If
you
have
questions
reach
out
to
me,
I'm
happy
to
help
and
like
I
said
as
I,
come
out
and
start
doing
more
inspections
or
doing
it
virtually
or
whatever
I
will
need
those
good
emails.
So
just
have
that
in
mind
so
that
we
can
get
the
system
set
up
correctly
so
that
there's
not
any
lost
invoices
or
inspection
reports.
B
A
You
thanks
Cara,
and
what
we've
learned
through
through
years
of
this,
but
especially
during
covet,
is
the
emails
that
are
assigned
to
a
person
are:
are
the
ones
who
get
lost
in
the
system
when
that
person
changes
emails,
changes
locations?
So
if
you
all
could
assign
emails
to
your
program
that
usually
makes
it
a
better,
more
sustainable
email.
A
All
right!
Thank
you
Kara
and
this
transition.
We
we've
been
learning
a
lot,
so
I
I
can't
see
who's
logged
in
but
I'm,
assuming
that
Jody's
here
for
CCAP
and
has
any
updates
for
us.
E
Hi
thanks
Jane,
yes,
sure,
let's
see
I
know,
there's
been
a
lot
of
questions
about
how
upk
and
CCAP
will
work
together
and
kind
of
business
as
usual
for
us,
I
know
that
the
department
of
Early
Childhood
sent
an
email
to
all
the
providers
to
let
you
know
to
have
families
reach
out
to
us,
so
they
would.
You
would
tell
them
what
their
upk
hours
are
and
then
they
would
request
anything
that
is
not
covered
by
upk.
This
is
obviously
for
only
duly
enrolled,
upk
and
CCAP
families.
E
If
they,
you
know,
have
needs
outside
of
what's
covered
by
upk,
they
can
let
us
know,
and
we
can
authorize
care
for
that.
So
let
me
know
if
you
have
any
questions,
I'm
going
to
put
some
information
in
the
chat
for
you
to
share
with
families
as
well
like
new,
and
then
the
new
enrollment
confirmation
feature
in
ATS.
E
E
I
do
have
a
special
session
that
everyone
was
invited
to
to
go
over
that
or
ask
any
questions
about
that
feature.
So
if
you
didn't
get
that
information
and
want
it,
please
let
me
know
happy
to
send
the
invitation
again.
I
just
think
did
that
show
up
in
the
chat?
E
Okay,
so
there's
an
email
address
for
families
to
use.
There
are
two
links
to
online
forms
for
changes
in
schedule
or
changes
in
provider,
those
are
for
families
and
then
for
CCAP
provider
questions.
We
have
our
billing
inbox,
which,
as
Jane
pointed
out
all
the
county
emails
have
changed
to.gov,
so
we've
got
the
CCAP
Billing
at
bouldercounty.gov
and
then
my
email
address
as
well
happy
to
help
with
anything
CCAP
any
do
I
have
any
questions
or
do
you
all
have
any
questions
for
me
thanks.
F
Have
a
few
updates:
if
that's
okay,
I
was
thinking
I,
don't
know
if
everyone
knows
that
we,
although
we
moved
in
May
eccbc,
has
a
new
office
we're
located
off
the
diagonal.
Now
it's
technically
a
Longmont
address,
but
it's
really
right
close
to
Niwot
at
7105
La,
Vista
Place.
F
So
we
have
a
new
office.
We
have
a
new
training
space
there
that
we're
excited
to
share
with
programs
and
hopefully
have
some
more
in-person
trainings
moving
forward.
F
Also
we
have
eqit
registration
is
now
on
pdis
and
our
one
of
our
class.
We
have
a
Tuesday
class
and
a
Saturday
class.
The
Tuesday
class
on
which
Jane
is
teaching
and
the
Tuesday
class
is
completely
full.
That
class
starts
tomorrow.
However,
we
do
have
space
left
in
the
Saturday
class,
which
starts
August
19th,
an
alternating
Saturdays
through
the
beginning
of
December,
with
registration
on
pdis.
There
have
been
some
kinks
in
that
as
well.
F
So
if
you
have
any
teachers
that
have
signed
up,
please
know
that
it's
a
two-step
process,
so
they'll
re,
they
request
registration
on
pdis
and
then
they
get
an
email
back
from
pdis
saying
if
there,
if
it
was
approved
or
denied
it
may
be
denied.
If
someone
is
out
of
County
because
we're
prioritizing
in
County
people,
but
then
there's
another
step
where
they're
linked
to
Boulder
County
for
the
for
people
to
complete
the
registration
process
and
to
submit
payment
if
they're,
not
a
CCAP
Center.
F
So
if
you
know
of
teachers
that
that
have
signed
up
or
that
have
requested
registration,
please
have
them
check
their
email.
Make
sure
that
they
complete
that
second
part
of
the
process,
because
we're
finding
that
sometimes
it's
with
the
pdis
emails
are
going
to
people's
junk
mails
and
and
some
teachers
are
thinking
that
they're
registered
and
they're.
Not
so
there
is
I'll
put
our
website
in
the
chat.
F
We
do
have
instructions
for
registration
on
pdis
that
really
clearly
states
how
to
do
that
process
and
I'll
put
that
in
the
chat
and
then
also
our
application
period
is
still
open
for
the
2023
to
2024,
Boulder,
County,
quality,
improvement,
Grant
and
super
licensed
programs
serving
children,
age
birth
to
five
in
Boulder
County,
and
it
if
you
want
to
apply
you
can
apply
through
your
Colorado
shines,
QRS
account
and
accepted
into
this
cohort
programs
partner
with
eccbc
and
can
get
coaching
hours
and
funds
to
support
quality
improvement.
F
Support
towards
your
Colorado
shines
rating.
So
your
QRS
rating
and
Nicole
Malone,
our
quality.
Our
senior
quality
Navigator
is
available
to
help.
If
anyone
has
any
questions
about
that
application
process
and
I'll
put
her
email
in
the
chat
as
well,
and
we
have
the
pyramid
plus
incentive
that
is
still
open
and
the
pyramid
plus
incentive
is
for
people
who
have
already
completed
the
pyramid
plus
class
from
last
fall
up
until
the
beginning
of
August.
F
If
they
have
completed
that
class,
we
are
offering
they
live
and
work
in
Boulder
County,
an
incentive
that
pretty
much
can
pay.
The
co
reimburses
that
participant
for
the
course
of
the
class,
but
you
have
to
have
completed
it
first.
So
if
anyone
in
your
program
has
recently
completed
the
class,
please
send
them
our
way,
so
they
can
fill
out
the
application
and
hopefully
get
some
money
towards
that
and
I
will.
The
application
period
closes
on
August
15th
I'll.
F
Put
that
in
the
chat
too,
and
oh
thank
you
Martha
for
putting
our
our
address
in
the
chat
and
last
two
things
I
wanted
to
mention
is
we're
going
to
be
having
another
touch
point
in
the
beginning
of
October
still
working
on
those
dates,
so
please
keep
an
eye
out
for
that
and
an
ECT
Clinic
beginning
in
November,
and
that
is
great
for
teachers
who
are
new
or
close
to
working
towards
their
ECT
qualification.
F
It's
a
great
six
art
course
introductory
course
to
help
support
them
and
and
getting
getting
information
and
learning
about
becoming
an
early
childhood
teacher
and
I'll
put
I.
Think
that's
all,
but
I'll
put
those
things
in
the
chat
and
thank
you.
A
F
Yeah
I
was
just
replying
to
that,
yes,
that
they
would
still
qualify
if
they
live
or
work
in
Boulder
County.
A
A
Well,
then,
I
will
drive
this
presentation
slides
but
I'm
going
to
turn
it
over
to
Mary,
Mann
and
I.
I
just
want
to
emphasize
that
one
of
the
reasons
that
we
we
decided.
This
would
be
a
good
use
of
our
our
time.
With.
All
of
you
today
was
that
the
Child
Care
Health
consultant,
which
is
a
requirement
for
child
care
programs,
kind
of
lost
some
of
their
contact
or
or
we
felt
like
people
weren't
using
their
health
consultant
as
as
well
as
they
could.
A
During
covid,
we
were
the
primary
health
source
of
information
we
being
Boulder
County,
Public,
Health,
CDC,
Colorado,
Department
of
Public,
Health
and
environment.
So
we
wanted
to
just
bring
this
back
to
your
attention
and
and
ensure
that
we
work
closely
with
your
health
consultants.
We
partner
with
them
and-
and
they
are
your
first
line
of
of
communical
disease,
because
they
know
your
program,
your
teachers,
your
children,
and
we
look
at
it
from
more
of
a
systems
regulatory
standpoint,
and
we
certainly
support
you
on
your
questions.
We
support
our
health
consultant
cchc.
A
We
often
call
them,
but
they
are
a
really
important
aspect
of
that
partnership.
So
we
wanted
to
give
them
the
floor
to
talk
a
little
more
about
the
training,
the
use
I'm.
Many
of
you
are
well
versed
on
this,
but
merryman
and
and
Molly
and
and
that
group
have
a
large
presence
in
Boulder
County,
but
there's
many
more
we're
not
saying
they're
the
only
ones
and
if
others
are
on
the
call
chime
in
as
they
go
through,
but
Mary
I'll
turn
it
over
to
you.
G
Thank
you
guys
and
thank
you
for
inviting
us
to
to
be
on
this
call
today,
so
I'm
just
going
to
go
right
into
it
and
Molly.
My
the
owner
of
our
company,
child
health
connection
is
also
on
the
call
with
me
today,
so
we
basically
I
know.
G
Probably
most
of
you
all
of
you
know
what
a
Child
Care
Health
consultant
is,
but
sometimes
people
think
that
we're
just
like
the
people
that
come
in
and
do
the
meds
like
train
on
the
meds
and
our
role
is,
is
actually
a
lot
bigger
than
that.
We
definitely
are
medical
professionals.
We
work
with
the
child
care
centers
and
any
issues
affecting
the
quality
of
the
child
care
to
promote
General
health
and
safety,
as
well
as
supporting
you
with
any
special
Health
Care
needs.
G
G
We
work
directly
with
the
directors,
the
teachers,
the
families
and
other
Health
Care
Professionals,
with
the
goal
of
keeping
the
children
safe,
healthy
and
thriving
I
know
just
with
the
child
cares
that
I
cover
in
Boulder
County
the
23
that
I
have.
We
have
a
very,
very
good
relationship,
so
Jane,
just
to
kind
of
add
on
to
the
covid
thing.
During
covid
we
were
actually
on
the
phone.
G
G
Next
slide
Jane,
please
thank
you.
The
credentials
that
we
have
to
hold
are
a
current
Colorado
license
as
a
registered
nurse
pediatric
nurse
practitioners
can
do
this
job,
family
nurse,
practitioners
or
Physicians.
They
need
to
have
knowledge
and
experience
in
maternal
and
child
health,
and
the
state
requirements
are
an
active
license.
So
these
are
the
things
that
licensing
looks
for
when
they
come
and
they
check
our
binder.
G
They
we
need
to
have
an
active
Colorado
license.
The
current
cchc
course
that
healthy
child
care
Colorado
provides
and
gives
us
they're
actually
working
on
the
next
course
for
us,
so
that
hasn't
even
been
developed.
Yet
we
need
our
immunization
certificate
that
we
take
every
year,
recognition
and
reporting
of
child
abuse
and
neglect
certification.
That
actually
is
only
taken
every
three
years
for
us
because
we're
not
in
direct
contact
with
the
kids
and
then
a
biography
that
documents
our
maternal
and
pediatric
experience.
G
So
that's,
what's
in
the
binder
and
usually
together,
that
licensing
is
looking
for
next
slide,
please.
So
how
can
we
help?
We
at
child
health
connection,
have
a
thing
that
tells
you
all
about
our
services
and-
and
you
know
what
kind
of
things
we
teach,
but
basically
any
illness.
G
G
Those
are
things
that
we
help
with.
We
help
with
growth
and
development
questions,
obviously
the
EpiPen
or
any
of
the
medication
for
emergency
meds
trainings,
and
we
also
help
with
some
immunization
support.
All
child
cares
need
to
document
and
Report
their
immunization
data
by
January
15th
of
every
year,
so
usually
in
November.
G
We
start
reminding
them
to
to
collect
it
and
we
can
actually
help
them
a
bit
with
that
next
slide,
please
so
again
to
to
recap,
training
and
delegates
delegating
staff
for
medication
and
administration
and
special
Health
needs
ongoing
support
of
meds
Med
Administration
and
special
Health
procedures.
We
we
create
a
lot
of
care
plans.
G
G
So
we've
actually
developed
a
lot
of
care
plans
just
to
help
the
staff
and
what
to
look
for
and
when
they
might
need
that
medication
that
they're
prescribed
for
that
type
of
health
care
plan.
We
provide
resource
and
guidance
on
anything
from
hygiene,
nutrition,
normal
sorry,
normal
growth
and
development,
and
also
medical
and
Behavioral
Health.
G
It's
not
our
Forte,
the
mental
health
part,
but
we
definitely
know
some
of
the
guidelines
and
we
have
a
good
connection
with
mental
health
partners.
So
we
definitely
will
give
you
resources.
G
We
can
back
up
meetings
to
support
you
if
you
have
a
child
that
has
some
behavioral
issues
and
they're
wanting
to
meet
with
parents.
We've
we've
been
in
a
lot
of
those
meetings,
just
as
a
support
to
the
the
director
or
staff.
We
can
do
some
immunization
support
such
as
are
they
up
to
date
with
their
immunizations?
Have
they
filled
out
a
non-exemption
or
a
medical
exemption
form
any
equipment,
safety
and
injury
prevention,
and
then
those
interactions
between
families
and
caregivers
slide?
Please.
G
So
when
do
you
call
your
child
care?
Health
consultant?
This
is
again
a
form
from
our
company,
but
it's
again
it's
if
you
need
help
with
a
child,
that's
enrolled.
That
needs
help
with
a
care
plan
or
has
medications
or
has
an
EpiPen
a
health
procedure
they're
on
oxygen,
G-tube,
feedings,
they're
diabetic.
G
Any
other
topics
that
manage
Health
in
sorry,
illness
and
disease
prevention,
equipment,
safety,
the
things
that
I
spoke
on
the
last
slide
about
and
then
delegating
for
those
meds
or
those
special
procedures.
Next
slide,
please.
G
So
next
we're
going
to
just
go
through
some
scenarios,
so
the
cchc
or
Child
Care,
Health
consultant
role
as
far
as
resource
and
guidance.
So
let's
say
you
have
a
scenario
where
it
involves
like
normal
growth
and
development
and
nutritional
needs
for
your
child.
G
The
infant
room
supervisor
asked
the
director
about
the
appropriate
number
of
diapers
that
a
16
month
old
should
have
during
the
day.
For
the
past
few
days,
she
has
observed
that
this
child
has
only
had
one
wet
diaper
in
an
eight-hour
period,
so
they
they
call
us
and
they're
like
what
is
normal.
What
how
do
you
think
that
we
could
be
supportive
in
this
situation?
If
you
could
put
it
in
chat.
G
Foreign,
so
a
lot
of
times
what
happens?
Is
the
they'll
call
with
questions
like
this,
the
director
or
a
staff?
Member
and
they'll
just
say
you
know?
What
do
you
think
about
this?
Do
you
have
any
resources?
Do
we
need
to
speak
with
the
parents
about
this?
Is
this?
Is
this
a
normal
type
of
situation
and
then
we'll
go
and
research
and
figure
out?
You
know
what
a
normal
amount
of
diapers
is
for
that
that
time
period
and
then
ask
a
lot
of
questions.
So
we'll
say
you
know,
does
a
child
appear
dehydrated?
G
G
So
the
next
one
is
the
cchc
role,
behavioral
and
developmental
support.
The
scenario
is
connecting
to
Early
Childhood
mental
health
consultants
to
provide
resources
for
managing
child
behavior.
So
this
actually
happened
to
me.
I
had
a
director
come
to
me
there
as
a
four-year-old
in
the
program
that
had
a
lot
of
difficulty
following
directions
was
very
socially
behind
in
communicating
with
his
peers
and
forming
relationships
with
other
children.
So
they
asked
me
at
the
monthly
visit
this
event
going
on
for
quite
some
time
how
they?
G
How
can
we
help
them
and
their
family
to
prepare
them
for
kindergarten
because
he's
four,
so
he
would
have
gone
to
kindergarten
the
following
year,
so
the
way
that
your
child
care,
Health
consultant
can
be
supportive.
In
this
scenario,
I
went
and
researched
some
information
I
talked
with
mental
health
partners.
We
I
came
up
with
some
literature
and
guidelines
and
then
I
sat
down
with
the
director
the
day
before
that
we
are
going
to
meet
with
the
family
and
we
just
came
up
with
a
plan.
She
did
most
of
the
talking.
G
She
knows
the
family
way
better
than
me,
but
I
was
there
there.
Just
to
support
her
and
say
that
you
know
the
most
important
thing
in
these
type
of
children
is
to
get
earlier
intervention
and
then
gave
her
resources
and
then
talked
about
a
follow-up
appointment
to
to
see
if
she
needed
anything
else.
So
that's
another
area
that
we
can
help
in
next
slide.
Please.
G
Okay,
so
the
Child
Healthcare
consultant
role-
and
this
one
is
injury,
prevention
and
management.
This
this.
For
some
reason,
I
I
got
a
lot
of
calls
for
this
summer
on
head
injuries.
So
a
director
called
me
and
said
there
was
a
child
who
had
fallen
and
sustained
a
head
injury.
The
staff
called
the
parents
and
they
took
the
child
to
the
emergency
room.
G
The
way
that
your
child
health
can
care
consultant
can
be
supportive
in
this
situation
is
I
reminded
them
to
do
a
concussion
assessment.
So
that's
something
that
you
know
each
month
when
I
go
in
I
usually
have
something
to
present
to
them.
G
So
that's
something
that
I
thought
was
important.
If
the
child
goes
to
the
ER,
then
licensing
has
to
be
called
because
that's
just
part
of
the
process,
so
I
always
remind
them
of
that
too,
and
then
usually
they
don't
call
me
when
it's
actually
happened
on
what
to
do.
But
I
we
can
help
with
you
know:
first,
aid
for
those
type
of
things
and
how
to
care
for
the
child
who's
Fallen.
That
type
of
thing
next
slide.
G
G
Sometimes
it's
just
viral
like
symptoms
or
you
know
stomach
bug
that
type
of
thing.
So
in
this
scenario,
we're
talking
about
hand,
foot
and
mouth
and
I
put
some
pictures
in
there
a
director
is
documented,
several
cases
of
hand,
foot
and
mouth
disease.
G
The
director
is
getting
pushed
back
from
parents
who
question
the
exclusion
guidance,
I'm,
sure
all
directors
have
been
in
that
boat
before
the
director
calls
the
cchc,
because
she
needs
help
communicating
the
guidance
to
parents
and
also
a
plan
to
mitigate
the
spread
of
this
virus
in
the
child
care
setting.
So
the
way
that
we
help
in
this
is
there's
there's
many
things
that
we
can
do,
but
we
usually
will
go
to
the
Infectious
Disease
guideline
book
to
to
get
the
exclusion
criteria,
and
you
know
the
how
long
they
would
need
to
be
excluded.
G
If,
if
that
particular
disease
needed
exclusion,
we
work
with,
like
I,
said
different
viruses
that
might
be
reportable
or
different
things
that
are
going
on
that
are
reportable
to
the
health
department,
and
we
remind
them
about
that.
G
Our
company
actually
has
a
hand,
foot
and
mouth
disease
Health
alert
that
gives
like
the
symptoms
and
how
long
you
know
what
needs
to
be
done
with
that
that
you,
you
can
use
as
support
to
give
to
your
parents
and
again
just
any
other
guidance
that
we
can
use
to
help
mitigate
the
situation
as
far
as
cleaning
and
sanitizing
and
disinfecting,
and
that
type
of
thing
next
slide.
Please.
G
C
Mary,
it's
Molly
hi,
everybody,
I
I,
work
with
Mary,
a
child
health
connection
and
I
I
just
wanted
to
add
Mary
I
thought
you
did
a
wonderful
job,
but
I
know
you've
probably
heard
this
all
from
your
nurses
in
the
past,
but
you
know
when
it
comes
to
parents,
questioning
the
guidance
or
especially
the
exclusion,
guidance
or
immunization.
C
Your
policies
we
nurses
are
are
wonderful
or
we're
we're
the
wonderful
bad
guy,
so
you
could
always
use
us
as
well.
I've
discussed
this
with
my
nurse,
and
this
is
what
we've,
what
we've
decided
to
do
so
we
we
nurses,
are
here
to
help
uphold
your
policies.
C
We're
also
here
to
help
you
create
policies
too,
because
we
we
actually
have
we're
fortunate
in
that
we
we
see
many
centers
in
your
community,
so
we
know
what
others
are
doing
and
what
best
practices
are.
So
if
you
do
need
your
nurse's
help
when
you're
creating
an
illness
policy
or
an
immunization
policy,
we
are
here
to
help
with
that.
Those
things
as
well.
A
Just
wanted
to
add
to
that
as
kind
of
that
full
circle
that
Martha
might
want
to
say
I
that
the
you
know
the
nurses,
the
child
care
health
consultants,
they're
they're
there
more
often
they're
right
in
the
thick
of
of
the
situation
and
often
have
a
have
been
pre-warned
that
there's
certain
Behavioral
or
or
health
things
that
are
coming
and
then
the
nurse
and
or
any
of
the
the
directors
are
always
welcome
to
contact
the
health
department,
but
sometimes
when
we
Martha
might
be
asking
when
you,
when
you
email,
healthy
CE.
D
That's
generally
number
one
is
what
I
put
have
you
talked
to
your
health
care
consultant
because
we
like
to
collaborate
with
them
and
I
think
in
particular,
lately
we've
had
some
chickenpox
cases
and
some
parents
have
sent
their
children
to
school
for
the
whole
week
because
they
thought
it
was
bug
bites
and
so
and
then
another
Center
thought
it
was
hand,
foot
and
mouth,
because
it's
really
hard
to
distinguish
with
those
little
dots
on
your
kiddos
bodies.
Is
it
chickenpox?
Is
it
hand,
foot
and
mouth?
D
A
Are
there
any
questions
or
scenarios
or
or
maybe
clarifications
than
anyone
on
the
call.
G
I
just
wanted
to
say
Jane
about
the
illness
surveillance
log.
So
that's
something
that
we
worked
on
together,
Martha
and
I
to
get
it
a
little
more
easy
for
the
directors
and
child
care
providers
to
type
into
if
they
wanted
that
option-
or
you
know
right
into
so,
we
have
like
a
newer,
updated
one
that
I
know
that
was
presented
out
to
all
the
Early
Childhood
Educators,
but
I
think
that's
been
working
well
right,
Martha,
the
new.
D
D
So
we
worked
on
that
and
created
a
form
that,
and
if
you
want
I,
can
put
it
in
the
chat
again
but
created
a
form
you
could
print
out
and
put
in
each
classroom
or
ideally,
the
director
would
collect
all
that
data.
So
you
could
help
us
be
disease,
detectives,
I,
guess
you
know,
noticing
Trends
in
different
classrooms
so
and
we
also
created
a
form
that
you
could
fill
in
and
type
on.
The
computer
as
well.
A
A
So
just
so
you
know
where
the
the
connections
we
that
really
help
us
help
you
and
keep
our
community
healthy,
are
all
of
these
pieces
and
we
work
closely
with
with
each
of
them,
especially
as
we
move
forward
into
these
unknown
areas
of
communicable
disease
and
trying
to
figure
things
out
where
things
are
being
spread,
how
it's
being
spread.
It
takes
a
village,
it
certainly
takes
all
of
our
our
work
and
and
you,
the
director,
the
teachers
are
right
in
the
center
of
that.
A
There's
thank
you
to
Mary
and
and
Molly
for
the
work
you
do
and
and
all
of
the
the
child
care
health
consultants.
They
work
really
hard
to
stay
abreast
of
the
the
change.
It's
hopefully
slower
change,
but
the
changes
that
were
in
place
is
there
any
other
child
care
health
consultants
on
the
call
that
would
like
to
add
anything.
A
All
right
well
healthy
child
care.
Colorado
is
also
a
resource
for
child
care
providers,
Child,
Care,
Educators
and,
and
they
have
a
lot
of
resources
in
on
on
communicable
disease
and
and
health
in
general.
They're.
Also,
the
home
for
the
pyramid,
pyramid
plus,
is
the
foundation
of
that
program.
Is
there.
G
G
You
Martha
and
epidemiology
I
reach
out
to
you
all
the
time
and
and
all
Jane
and
Cara,
and
all
the
health
department
team
really
I.
Just
think
we,
like
you
said
we
have
to
do
it
all
together,
something
Molly
actually
Molly
did
you
want
to
talk
about
this?
One
last
slide
just.
C
It's
just
kind
of
our
way
of
saying.
Thank
you
all
for
all
that
you
guys
do
that.
Little
flowery
sign
that
says
you
are
so
important.
That
is.
That
is
absolutely
how
we
feel
about
you,
because
you
know
you
do
pick
up
on
signs
of
possible
underlying
medical
or
developmental
concerns.
You're
the
you're,
the
first
ones
to
see
these
things.
C
Many
of
the
times
you
also
identify
the
needs
of
the
family.
You
know,
there's
possible
abuse
and
neglect
going
on.
C
I
had
one
one
Center
years
and
years
ago,
where
this
baby
just
was
not
developed,
developing
properly
kept
on
the
mom
kept
taking
him
into
the
doctor,
because
the
the
child
care,
the
infant
room
supervisor,
asked
her
to
a
doctor,
came
back
with
normal
growth
and
development,
normal
growth
and
development,
and
until
he
finally
had
a
seizure
and
it
turned
out
that
he
was
being
severely
abused
by
a
member
of
the
family
and
had
marbled
brain
matter.
So
it
was.
C
C
You
know
what
and
I
don't
mean
to
believe
belabor
that
sad
story,
but
I
do
want
to
tell
you
that
an
investigation
was
done
by
by
the
police,
and
it
was
because
the
child
care
center
documented
all
their
conversations
and
all
their
observations
that
the
police
came
back
and
and
were
very
appreciative
because
they
had
a
running.
They
had
a
running
log
of
of
of
the
the
problems
that
this
child
was
having.
C
So
also
you,
you
know,
we
work
with
your
health
department
mitigation
strategies
as
Mary
was
saying,
but
I
think
the
most
important
thing
that
you
all
do
is
you
give
children
with
chronic
Health
needs
a
good
foundation
as
they
begin
their
their
educational
years,
and
if
we
can
develop
a
care
plan
for
them
now
in
the
preschool
setting,
then
that
will
just
carry
on
over
into
the
kindergarten
through
through
high
school
years.
So
you
guys
are
amazing
at
what
you
do.
C
We
are
so
very
grateful
to
work
with
you
if
there's
anything
as
child
care,
health
consultants,
that
you
would
like
to
see
us
do
or
or
to
be
more
helpful.
You
please
let
us
know
we
are
here
for
you.
A
D
B
D
A
You
guys
are
they're
quiet
all
around
okay.
Well,
then,
I
just
wanted
to
close
with
letting
you
know
that
the
next
two
months
will
have
some.
What
we've
been
calling
some
training
snacks
from
some
of
the
child
health
promotion
staff.
We're
going
to
do
on
September,
11th
noon
to
one
is
one
called
nature:
connections
on
movement
in
nature,
Navarre
staff,
Kyla,
Perlman,
attended
a
conference
and
I
think
her
and
Tori
have
been
working
together
on
putting
a
presentation
on
in
involving
children
in
nature.
It
sounded
really
interesting.
A
It
was
on
the
reminder,
email
that
I
sent
out
last
Friday,
but
I'll
do
another
reminder
noon
to
one
this
time
for
period
on
September,
11th
and
then
Tori
and
Heather
hosworth
will
be
doing
a
presentation
on
October
16th,
also
noon
to
one
on
storing
your
fall,
veggies
so
mark
your
calendars
and
I
will
send
reminders,
and
then
we
will
come
back
and
talk
with
you
again
on
November
13th
as
a
health,
education,
communicable
disease
content
and
using
the
healthy
CE
for
any
of
your
questions
on
health
and
using
our
emails,
our
contact
for
anything
else
that
you
have.
