A
Welcome
to
the
Board
of
Education
special
meeting,
our
second
informal
budget
Workshop,
this
Thursday
January
26
2023
at
7
00
PM
I,
would
like
to
ask
everyone
to
rise
for
the
pledge
I
pledge
allegiance
to
the
flag
of
the
United
States
of
America
and
to
the
Republic
for
which
it
stands.
One
nation
under
God
indivisible
with
liberty
and
justice
for
all.
A
B
I
had
the
pleasure
of
meeting
Noel
the
other
day
and
I
I
told
her
how
Blown
Away
we
were
the
Board
of
Education.
They
called
me
immediately
when
they
saw
the
article
and
we
spoke
about
how
impressed
we
were
about
your
interpretation.
It
was
just
beautiful
and
so
I
had
a
chance
to
meet
Noelle
the
other
day
and
she's.
Just
a
wonderful
young,
lady
and
I.
It's
my
pleasure
now
to
me
to
introduce
her
proud
principal
Mr,
otira.
C
So
every
year,
New
York
State
runs
the
Dr
Martin
Luther
King
Jr
art
essay
exhibition
years
ago.
It
was
just
an
exhibition
in
Albany,
but
covet
actually
did
us
all.
A
favor,
not
only
is
is
the
the
contestants
displayed
at
the
Empire
Plaza
in
Albany.
Now
we
can
also
view
it
online.
C
This
year
we
actually
had
five
freshmen
selected
to
exhibit
their
work
in
the
in
the
in
the
Empire
State
Plaza
up
in
Albany,
and
one
stood
out
to
local
media
Newsday
reached
out
reached
out
to
us
because
everything
is
unnamed
in
the
exhibit.
Who
is
this
girl?
So
we
did
our
research
in
the
building
and
it
it
was
Noel.
She
submitted
a
beautiful
piece
of
artwork,
which
is
a
little
ironic,
because,
despite
her,
you
know
really
difficult
schedule.
C
All
honors,
of
course,
work
select
Orchestra.
She
doesn't
even
have
an
art
class.
What
that's
incredible,
but
she
did
submit
just
a
just.
A
fabulous
piece
of
art.
I
do
want
to
just
read
a
an
excerpt
from
the
Newsday
article
and
and
quote
Noel
if
I
might
before
I.
Let
her
speak
because
she's
she's
I'm
sure
you
can't
wait
to
get
to
the
microphone
here.
C
So
Newsday
wrote
her
drawing
is
one
simple
but
powerful
image:
two
hands
one
dark
in
color.
The
other
light
come
together
entwined
by
flowers
on
vines
with
one
big
Rose,
rising
from
the
top.
Now
her
message
embodies,
you
know
the
Brentwood
Community.
It
really
does
and
in
her
words,
all
right,
I
think
beautiful
things
can
blossom
when
we
join
hands
just
a
fabulous
young
woman.
Congratulations.
D
D
D
This
meeting
has
granted
me
the
opportunity
to
answer
this
question
clearly
and
without
distraction.
What
inspired
you
to
draw
this
artwork
I
could
have
said
I'm
on
personal
color.
However,
compared
to
my
true
response,
it
has
a
depth
of
a
puddle
of
water.
Instead,
I'd
like
to
recognize
a
moment
of
irony
in
history,
Edmund
pet
Winston
petis
was
an
Alabama
general
of
the
Confederate
States
Army
and
supposed
leader
of
the
Ku
Klux
Klan
years
after
his
death,
a
bridge
was
established
in
1940
in
his
name.
D
Here's
the
fun
part
on
March,
9th
1965,
Martin,
Luther,
King
Jr
LED
about
2
000
marches
onto
the
Edmund
Pettus
Bridge,
even
with
the
knowledge
that
they
were
driven
back
to
Summer
by
violent
Lawman.
It
still
counts
as
a
victory.
In
my
eyes,
a
chuckle
from
the
thought
of
people,
believing
that
discrimination
and
segregation
would
last
forever
and
even
further
a
black
woman,
with
the
same
last
name
as
Edmund
Pettis
standing
here
and
getting
recognized
for
her
work.
D
B
That
was
Noel.
That
was
absolutely
beautiful.
Now,
if
you
could
do
us
a
favor
too
Rick,
if
we
could
get
obviously
a
picture
of
Noel
and
if
we
could
get
a
picture
of
her
picture
but
also
if
we
could
print,
would
you
mind
if
we
printed
your
speech
that
you
just
gave
to
us
below
your
picture
with
your
name
on
it,
you,
you
could
say
no,
no.
D
B
B
B
B
A
No
I'm
good
I'm
good
rich,
so
we
have
a
special
presentation
this
evening
for
an
employee
of
the
district.
That
I
think
rich
and
I
can
say,
has
gone
above
and
beyond,
has
done
exceptional
work
for
the
district
as
a
whole.
A
Well
deserving
of
what's
about
to
transpire,
I
can't
say
enough
about
this.
Individual
I
think
we're
all
probably
here
because
of
this
individual
and
their
hard
work
and
efforts
to
keep
this
District
afloat
in
the
most
trying
of
times.
So
without
further
ado.
A
We
threatened,
we
hereby
present
you
with
this
award
in
recognition
for
your
ongoing
commitment
and
17
years
of
dedicated
service
to
the
Brentwood
Union
Free
School
District.
We
appreciate
your
Devotion
to
us
and
the
many
years
of
financial
trustworthiness.
We
could
not
have
made
it
without
you,
so
thank
you.
B
B
Just
kidding,
no,
they
do
Escape,
but
in
all
honesty,
I,
Stacy
and
I
have
a
lot
of
fun
together,
but
it's
an
extremely
serious
job.
As
a
matter
of
fact,
we
were
sitting
in
the
office
the
other
day,
her
office
and
I
said
to
her
state,
so
you
realize
that
you
actually
are
in
charge
of
in
total
Although
our
our
budget.
B
Our
general
fund
is
about
503
million
or
506
million
dollars,
but
when
you
toss
in
all
of
the
grants
and
the
food
service,
all
of
our
Federal
grant
money
we're
probably
looking
about
650
million
dollar
budget
that
Stacy
ultimately
is
in
charge
of,
and
that
is
probably
bigger
than
most
cities
across
this
country.
If
you
stop
to
consider
it,
so
it
really
is
an
incredible
responsibility.
B
She
obviously
does
and
I
know
she's
going
to
mention
this
when
she
speaks
in
a
few
moments,
but
has
an
incredible
team
behind
her
that
she'll
give
credit
to,
but
ultimately
she
is
really
making
decisions
that
impact
this
community
and
I
think
she's
done
a
tremendous
job
like
I
said
it
is
an
enormous
task
to
keep
track
of
all
of
this
money.
She
has
filtered
a
few
off
to
the
Cayman
Islands,
but
I
think
that
was
I.
Think
that's
well
deserved.
B
You
know,
I,
do
wonder
how
you
afforded
it,
but
I
kind
of
understand
now,
but
no
she's
tremendous
and
she
just
and
she
does
it
with
ease.
Also
and
that's
what
I
love
about
Stacy,
there's
really
never
a
a
panic
and
there's.
Never.
She
never
gets
upset
over
things
and
just
has
a
very
even
Keel
about
her,
which
really
is
difficult
to
do
when
you're
handling
this
amount
of
money,
that's
right
exactly,
but
she
can
and
here's
what
I
love
about
her.
She
cares
deeply
about
Brentwood.
B
She
does
love
Brentwood
as
much
as
any
of
us.
He
really
doesn't.
She
considers
she
considers
this
money
carefully,
because
she
knows
how
much
it
impacts
this
school
community
and
she
takes
her
job
extremely
seriously
and,
like
I
said
she
does
it
in
a
kind,
passionate
happy-go-lucky
way,
but
I
know
deep
down.
B
There
has
to
be
turmoil,
you
know
when
she
goes
through
these
numbers,
so
we
are
blessed
Beyond
blessed
and
when
the
Board
of
Education
said
that
they
wanted
to
honor
Stacy,
it
was
really
the
right
thing
to
do
the
right
time,
because
we
have
been
so
fortunate
to
have
her
in
charge
of
our
finances
for
so
long
and
we
hope
she's
with
us
a
lot
longer
too,
because
we
need
you
desperately
so
without
further
Ado.
Let
me
turn
it
over
to
the
woman
of
the
of
the
hour
Miss
Stacy
O'connor
foreign.
F
Thank
you
very
much
and
I
really
appreciate
it,
and
I
was
wondering
so
why
so
many
of
my
staff
were
here
but
like
okay,
they're
supporting
its
operations,
presenting
because,
in
addition
to
all
of
the
finances,
also
all
of
the
operations,
the
school
launch,
the
buildings
and
ground
security
I.T
purchasing.
So
it's
just.
It
really
is
a
lot
to
manage
and,
like
rich
said,
I
couldn't
do
it
without
my
staff,
I
mean
they're,
just
absolutely
wonderful,
take
care
of
their
areas.
F
You
know
we
have
problems
but
challenges
I,
shouldn't
say
not
problems
because
we
get
through
it
all
and
we
get
through
it
all
together
and
we
all
love
Brentwood.
We
all
have
that
in
common,
so
it
makes
it
a
lot
easier.
If
Rich
knows
me,
he
knows
I
don't
like
to
make
speeches.
He
put
me
on
the
spot,
but
I
really
really
do
appreciate
this
and
I
I'm.
F
Definitely
not
the
woman
of
the
hour
that
is
Noel
who
just
did
a
fabulous,
drawing
and
fabulous
speech,
and
we
see
that
week
after
we
or
meeting
after
meeting
just
what
talented
students
we
have
here.
So
everything
we
do,
every
dollar
we
can
save
in
the
finances
of
the
district
belongs
right
with
the
students
because
they
deserve
it.
It's
theirs
and
we
just
want
to
see
them
succeed
and
Excel
as
they
go
through
our
schools
and
when
they
leave.
So.
Thank
you
very
much.
F
You
really
make
it
hard
for
my
presenters
now
in
the
budget
meeting.
You
did
that
to
me
two
weeks
ago,
when
I
was
presenting,
you
now
probably
the
same
to
them
tonight,
but
they're
going
to
do
great
and
they
always
do
so.
Thank
you
very
much
and
much
much
appreciated
foreign.
B
B
E
A
B
A
A
A
You
just
basically
have
to
come
to
the
board
meeting,
fill
out
a
paper
for
either
an
agenda
item
or
after
the
agenda
agenda
item,
and
we
will
call
you
to
the
microphone
and
give
you
your
five
minutes.
Yeah.
B
A
A
F
A
Okay,
D1
separate
voting

be
it
resolved
that,
upon
the
recommendation
of
the
superintendent

the
Board
of

hereby
appoints
Robert
Peterson
as

a

probationary

Fourth,
in
the

the

I

so

Mr,

B
B
Teamwork
Makes,
the
Dream,
that's
right,
we
do
have
a
workshop
on
the
third,
but
we
have
the
the
business
meeting
is
on
the
15th
okay,
so.
A
All
right
so
Mr,
Fuentes,
February,
15th,
8
P.M,
hope
to
see
you
then
Second
and
formal
budget
Workshop.
You
want
to
take
it
away,
Stacy
sure.
F
Thank
you.
So
it's
a
second
in
our
series
of
budget
meetings.
Tonight
we're
going
to
talk
about
the
operations
department
for
those
of
you
in
the
crowd.
We
handed
out
a
handout
there
or
it's
in
the
back
as
soon
as
you
walk
in,
if
you
don't
have
it
for
those
of
you
online
we're
going
to
display
it
online.
So
you
can
follow
along
with
us,
the
handout's
going
to
be
in
the
same
format
as
the
previous
meeting
and
we're
going
to
talk
about
tonight,
buildings
and
grounds,
security
and
then
Transportation.
F
H
Like
to
thank
the
board
once
again
for
an
opportunity
to
present
the
proposed

The

to
all
district

including
Cesspool

we're
proposing
a

we

This
is
being

H
This

is
used
to

to
assist
in

District

also
supplying
gas

This
is
being
held
level.
1620,
4770
operational
electricity
is
used
to
cover
the
cost
of
electricity
for
all
district
buildings,
requesting
an
increase
of
five
percent.
As
we
transition
with
our
solo
program
and
Rising
costs
of
utilities,
1620.
H
F
Minute
because
you
may
think
we
have
all
the
solar,
why
are
we
increasing
this
this
code
a
little
bit?
And
that's
because
I
learned
since
having
some
of
the
solar
systems
come
online,
that
you
don't
start
getting
the
rebates
right
away?
They
have
to
run
for
a
year
before
we
start
getting
the
rebates
and
we're
working
on
that
when
our
anniversary
period
is
going
to
be
where
we
can
start,
you
know
getting
the
rebates.
F
So
all
that
still
has
to
be
worked
out,
but
they're
not
even
all
commissioned
yet
so
we
think
we're
going
to
have
a
like
I
thought
it
would
just
offset
right
away.
So
I
could
lower
this,
but
that's
not
the
case.
So
we're
going
to
have
another
full
year
of
electrical
costs

where
we're

We

we're.

set

so
we'll

what
we

let's
see,

It's
definitely

there.
H
There's
all
kinds
of
work
being
done
in

we're
doing
some

I'm
gonna.

actually

before
the

the

the

in

We're
going
to
try
to
you,
know,
replace
the
the
kitchen
cabinets
and
you
know
make
it
look
a
lot
more
presentable.
You
know
for
the
kids
one,
what
schools
are
those
again:
the
four
middle

all
four
middle.
E
H
Yeah,
let's
see
we're
putting

I'm.
Sorry
in
the

you
know
for

purposes,
we're
doing
many.
H
Let's
see
we're
adding
offices
in
the
Ross
in
the

we'll
be
doing
some
Renovations
there
as
well
we're
completing
Renovations
here
pretty
soon
we'll
have
this
place.
You
know
pretty
much
wrapped
up
that.
That's
the
few
that
I
have
on
the
top
of
my
head,
I'm
sure
they're
listed
a
lot
longer
than
yeah.
F
B
H
In
let's
see
the
middle
schools
you're
talking
about
the.
B
H
I
B
H
B
B
Okay,
that's
super
exciting
and
we
we
did
present
to
the
board
right.
We
have
to
present
to
the
community
some
of
our
designs,
yeah.
F
We
did
I,
don't
know
if
we
have
the
cafeterias
at
the
time
when
I
did
that
presentation
in
the
fall
right.
J
B
Designs
are
amazing,
the
cafeteria
I'm
so
glad
that
we're
doing
these
across
the
district.
Wait
till
you
see
what
the
elementary
schools
are
going
to
look
like
the
middle,
the
high
school.
They
are
just
fantastic
I.
Think
the
kids
are
going
to
love
it,
the
families,
it's
really
Progressive,
very
Innovative,
the
use
of
the
space.
It's
not
going
to
be
your
traditional.
You
know
Square
tables.
B
They
were
going
to
have
different
areas
in
the
in
the
cafeterias
for
kids
to
have
kind
of
different
experiences,
not
just
sit
across
from
one
another
at
a
square
or
a
round
table.
You
know
lots
of
different
designs.
B
C
A
A
Maybe
people
don't
realize
it
when
they're
driving
into
the
district,
if
they
haven't
been
here
in
a
while,
to
see
the
transformation
that
your
team
has
begun
in
District
alongside
you,
Stacy
I
mean
it's
incredible,
I
mean
for
me,
it's
just
a
source
of
Pride
to
see
how
this
district
has
been
transforming
and
probably
what,
over
the
summer
into
now,
I
mean
it's
just
it's
incredible.
It's
beautiful
to
look
at
a
lot
of
you
know
things
now.
It's
just
like.
Oh
wow,
I
didn't
notice
that
last
time.
E
A
H
K
K
First
thing,
I'm
going
to
start
off
with
is
1625.1600
through
1620.
This
covers
security
and
uninstructional
salary
and
OT
sub.
K
Basically,
right
now
in
the
high
school
we
have
four
full-time
cards
in
each
building
and
two
part-time
guards
who
cover
the
Learning
Center
area.
I'm
gonna
ask
for
an
increase
in
six
part-time
guards,
because
School
the
school
hours
technically
are
7
A.M
6
30
a.m
through
5
30,
because
we
have
five
o'clock
buses
and
right
now
we're
covering
this
with
overtime.
K
Okay,
so
in
the
morning
we
need
four
guards
in
the
building
and
we
need
at
least
two
or
three
guards
outside
for
presence.
So
right
now
we
are
covering
that
with
overtime
which
I
want
to
stop
next
year
and
just
hire
these
part-time
guards
to
do
these
positions
and
it'll
save
us
from
paying
time
and
a
half
and
just
pay
the
additional
hours
now.
This
is
important.
Also,
the
mobile
unit
right
now
I'm
pulling
a
person
out
the
high
school
to
to
drive
around
the
school
and
cover
the
mobile
unit.
K
This
mobile
unit
is
responsible
for
stopping
students
or
requesting
students
ID,
if
they're
leaving
the
property,
which
is
very
helpful
because
it
also
stops
trespassers.
If
someone
who
doesn't
belong
on
the
property,
a
mobile
unit
at
the
high
school
is
catching
that
so
what
now?
What
we're
doing
is
we're
going
to
supply
him
with
a
iPad
or
some
type
of
device
where
he
can
check
the
ID
to
make
sure
they
belong
on
the
property?
Okay.
K
So
this
is
something
additional
that
we're
going
to
purchase
in
July,
so
the
mobile
unit
will
be
more
equipped
to
you
know,
confront
these
students
and
ask
them
questions:
The
Freshman,
Center
I'm,
asking
for
two
additional
part-time
guards
right
now.
We
do
have
four
guards
and
a
supervisor
there,
but
these
two
part-time
guards
will
also
be
able
to
cover
the
tech
center
because
we
have
instructional
classes
in
the
tech
center.
K
I
would
like
to
have
someone
there
at
least
four
or
five
hours
a
day
to
prevent
someone
from
going
in
that
building,
because
the
four
guards
and
the
supervisors
are
are
covering
the
areas
in
the
building,
the
locker
area
and,
of
course,
the
Portables.
So
we
need
someone
by
that
door,
so
this
part-time
guard
will
be
responsible
for
the
the
tech
center
and
the
other
part-time
God
will
be
responsible
for
patrolling
the
grounds
doing
the
same
thing,
that's
required
at
the
high
school
checking
IDs
and
making
sure
they
belong.
K
K
We
don't
have
a
strong
presence
in
the
middle
schools,
because
a
lot
of
the
guards
are
assigned
to
the
front
desk
the
security
to
check
in
people
which
is
important,
but
it's
also
important
to
have
the
security
staff
Patrol
the
building,
so
the
students
can
see
that
we're
visible
and
presence
is
really
important
and
preventing
a
lot
of
things
from
happening.
So
I'm
asking
that
we
have
these
additional
part-time
guards.
You
know
in
these
middle
schools
to
cover
now
you
know,
I,
don't
want
to
I.
K
Definitely
don't
want
to
start
pulling
the
full-time
guards
away
from
the
front
desk,
but
we
could
put
the
part-time
guard
at
the
front
desk
and
have
the
the
small
experience
guard
who's
in
the
building
already
patrolling
the
building
the
elementary
schools.
Right
now
we
have
three
large
elementary
schools
which
Southwest
North
Elementary
and
North
Elementary
and
North
yeah
North
Island.
K
Said
it
twice
and
Northeast,
these
are
huge
elementary
schools.
They
have
several
entrances,
especially
on
Southwest
and
North.
Elementary
I
would
like
to
get
these
part-time
guards
that
I
have
in
the
building
now
I'd
like
to
increase
them
to
full-time
guards,
Okay
the
reason
being
I
need
them
there,
full
time
to
cover
the
large,
the
larger
buildings
and
make
sure
no
one's
coming
in
through
the
back
area.
K
Okay,
we
do
have
dismissal
to
the
back
area
and
through
the
front
area,
so
both
areas
should
be
guarded
and
should
have
some
type
of
security
presence
there.
The
position
will
prevent
trespasses
to
facilitate
monitoring
students
leaving
the
grounds,
and
this
would
also
help
with
the
elopements.
K
Currently
we
are
doing
it,
but
we're
covering
it
with
overtime.
So
these
part-time
guards
are
working
in
the
building
instead
of
four
hours,
they're
working
eight
hours.
So
this
is
the
reason
why
our
allotments
have
really.
You
know,
declined
in
the
school
district
and
it's
it's
helpful
for
them
to
be
present.
K
Now,
the
you
know,
we
took
care
of
the
salary,
so
I'm
not
going
to
talk
about
16
25,
16
20.,
but
I
am
going
to
talk
about
security
equipment.
K
The
board
did
approve
last
year
and
the
year
before
for
us
to
get
additional
Vehicles
we're
still
waiting
for
those
two
cars
they
didn't
come
yet
so
I
am
requesting
one
more
vehicle
to
make
it
three
vehicles.
The
reason
why
we
have
more
trained
staff
that
need
to
be
out
in
the
field
patrolling
the
district,
the
cars
that
we
have
currently
require
a
lot
of
Maintenance
to
keep
them
operational,
the
buildings
and
grounds
the
mechanics
they
want
to
pull
these
vehicles
off.
They
said
they
no
longer
no
longer
worth
fixing.
K
So
we
need
these
additional
Vehicles
before
we
pull
them
to
take
these
cars
off
the
fleet
and
add
these
new
additional
Vehicles.
So
I
am
asking
this
year
for
another
vehicle
on
top
of
the
two
vehicles
that
we
are
getting
from
the
prior
two
years.
B
Byron,
what's
the
hold
up,
why
why
can't
we
get
to
the
cars.
K
It's
the
company
that
we
originally
purchased
the
cars
from
sold
the
company
to
another
company,
so
we
had
to
change
the
whole
po
again
and
then
the
cars
that
they
were
holding
for
us
they
sold
to
another
District.
So
now
we
have
to
wait
for
them
to
build
our
car
again
and
deliver
them
to
us
with
chippy.
So.
B
K
Have
to
be
custom
made
because
they're
they're
driven
a
lot
they're
driven
three
three
shifts
right.
You
know,
so
they
definitely
especially
two
shifts
to
four
to
twelve
in
the
eight
to
four
and
on
the
weekends.
So
they
can't
be
the
normal
vehicle
because
we're
putting
a
couple
hundred
thousand
miles
on
these
vehicles
before
we
take
them
out.
We
have
cars
with
210
000
miles
right
right,
so
you
know
it's
important
that
we
there
we
get
the
better
equipped
vehicle.
K
Thank
you
all
right
in
service
training,
I'm
asking
for
an
additional
15,
that's
16,
25
44.70.
This
will
enable
me
to
send
the
supervisors
off
for
training,
so
they
can
bring
bring
the
information
back
to
the
guards
and
train
the
guards
which
we
do
every
year.
We
do
an
eight
hour
annual
training,
but
this
year
we're
doing
something
different.
Each
guard
is
receiving
at
least
40
to
50
hours
worth
of
training,
because
they're
still
required
to
work
during
holidays,
so
we
bring
them
in
and
we
give
them
additional
instruction.
K
So
there
each
God
is
receiving
it
at
least
a
minimum
36
hours
a
year
in
training,
so
also
CPI
and
all
the
additional
trainings
security
equipment.
Repair
radios
constantly
need
repair
because
they're
dropping
them
the
antennas.
Sometimes
you
know
we
need
to
get
some
things
fixed.
K
Printers
monitors
stuff
like
that,
so
as
with
an
additional
security
equipment,
repair
15,
but
most
of
that
money
is
spent
towards
radios,
adding
additional
radios
and
repairing
radios
security,
Material
supplies
and
with
the
raising
pricing,
we're
asking
for
additional
15,
because
you
know
since
covet
everything
has
increased
tremendously,
so
that
15
will
cover
the
additional
cost
of
the
material
that
we
order.
This
year,
I'm
asking
for
an
eight
thousand
dollar
raise
in
uniforms.
K
K
Now
I
wanted
to
speak
on
the
debate
detectives
because
of
Richmond
States
He.
We
have
a
pilot
program
going
on
at
the
high
school
and
these
late
detectives.
We
only
have
two:
we
put
them
in
I
check
the
cameras,
monitor
the
cameras
and
I.
You
know
decided
which
two
bathrooms
are
going
to
put
them
in
the
nest
to
where
we
have
the
most
traffic
and
that's
how
we
decided
to
put
it
in
those
two
bathrooms
since
then,
we've
confiscated
52,
Vapes,
okay,
which
is
sitting
in
my
drawer
right
now.
K
The
kids
are
on
to
where
the
Vapes
are
now
so
now,
they're
going
to
other
bathrooms.
I
would
ask
that
we
spread
this
this
this
project
to
additional
bathrooms
at
the
high
school
and
in
the
middle
schools.
The
course
of
the
Vapes
are
about
fifteen
hundred
dollars
to
install
them.
Probably
another
thousand
dollars
you're
looking
at
twenty
five
hundred
dollars
a
vape,
but
we
are
preventing
a
lot
of
these
students
from
vaping
in
the
schools,
and
you
know
it's
working
now,
these
Vape
detectives
they
don't
just
detect
they
detect
aggression.
K
If
they're
fighting
in
the
bathroom,
we
pick
up
the
the
aggression
and
we
respond,
they
also
pick
up
marijuana
and
other
things.
Do
we
get
false
readings?
Yes?
But
for
the
most
part
we
are
stopping
the
students
from
vaping
on
school
grounds
and
I'm,
asking
that
we
continue.
This
pilot
add
the
additional
Vape
detectors
and
also
in
the
middle
schools,
because
right
now
in
the
middle
schools,
that's
where
it
starts.
So
if
we
can
get
these
additional
big
detectives,
it
would
be
very
helpful.
K
K
So
this
is
very
helpful
and,
with
the
new
newer
staff
that
we've
hired
they're
equipped
to
respond
to
active
shooter
situations
to
increase
the
amount
of
time,
meaning
the
police
department
will
take
about
two
three
minutes
to
respond.
The
unit
that
we
have
working
with
us
will
be
within
the
building
within
a
minute
and
a
half
to
two
minutes.
That's
why
we
need
good
working
vehicles,
and
you
know
these
fake
detectives
to
help
protect
our
students.
K
The
back
that
will
cover
all
the
bathrooms
at
the
high
school
and
crucial
areas
in
the
middle
schools.
K
Four
to
five
years,
but
the
new
units,
when
I
originally
did
a
trial
of
these
Vape
detectors
from
the
old
District,
where
I
was
the
director
they
have
completely
grown
and
enhanced,
whereas
now
they
can
just
plug
in
something
and
upgrade
them
now.
Of
course,
anything
computerized
is
not
going
to
last
more
than
five
years,
but
right
now
they
can
be
updated.
B
Byron,
can
you
tell
us
who's
monitoring?
You
know
who's
monitoring
the
devices
right.
K
I
get
I
get
the
alerts
to
my
computer.
Michael
Rodriguez
gets
the
alerts
to
his
computer
and
the
Deans
and.
K
K
K
And
we're
looking
to
upgrade
the
camera
system,
we're
hoping
to
get
the
money.
That's
that
was
going
to
be
my
second
request.
We
do
have
some
blind
spots
in
the
district
that
we
have
to
cover
I'd.
Ask
that
you
give
Candace
what
she
needs
to
add
these
additional
cameras
to
these
blind
spots.
Please
so
I
just
want
to.
K
J
Only
since
you
mentioned
cameras,
you
know
we
did
have
a
discussion
about
shield
and
ravap
and
at
the
moment
we're
not
signed
up
for
that.
We're
going
to
be
intend
to
correct
until
they
revamped
some
of
their
the.
K
Rave
app
we're
piloting
pilot,
we
have
a
pilot
project
going
on
in
Laura
Park,
but.
K
Yeah
I
I,
to
be
honest
with
you,
I
like
to
do
things
internally
right
now.
You
know:
if
we're
going
to
do
a
system,
let's
develop
a
system
internally
for
Brentwood,
because
we
have
a
different
Dynamic
from
other
schools.
So
you
know
I
want
to
try
to
hopefully
meet
with
Candace,
which
we're
doing
now
and,
like
I
said
we
have.
There
are
a
lot
of
things
that
we're
doing
that's
Innovative
and
preventing
these
kids
we're
monitoring
the
activity.
K
What
they're
doing
these
kids
are
doing
things
on
their
computer
systems,
that
they
shouldn't
be
doing
and
we're
preventing
that
and
we're
stopping
them
from
doing
it?
It's
so
security
we're
not
just
we're
we're
involved
with
the
the
the
kids
that
are
being
work,
work
and
sex
traffic.
So
we're
doing
a
lot
of
different
things
to
help
out
to
make
sure
that
this
is
not
happening
in
our
district
with
security.
K
So
as
far
as
the
Rave
app
I,
it's
okay,
I,
don't
think
it's
great,
but
I
don't
know
if
it's
worth
the
money,
because
anything,
that's
temporarily
free
comes
with
the
cost
at
the
end
so
and
every
time
I,
you
know
just
like
with
the
the
identify
the
facial
recognition,
I'm
still
not
sold
on
facial
recognition.
K
K
J
K
K
K
B
Well,
the
principal
has
on
a
number
of
occasions.
You
know
if
there's
an
ambulance
that
needed
to
be
called,
we've
had
a
couple
of
kids
heard
on.
B
Types,
but
what
happens
is
you
know
Mr
Snell
does
activate
it.
E
B
E
B
Kind
of
agree
with
Byron
on
really
on
everything.
He
said
this.
E
B
B
Right,
well,
you
know
what
is
we
I
mean?
It's
we're,
incredibly,
a
active.
You
know
supervising
right
now
we
have
great
security
staff,
as
Byron
has.
B
First
of
all,
his
leadership
has
been
tremendous
and
the
the
if
there
is
ever
a
a
problem
word
is
gets
out
immediately.
Byron
is
notified
immediately.
We're
notified
immediately
police
are
called
if
there's
ever
a
concern,
so
the
information
is
pretty
much.
You.
B
B
K
Mean
every
classroom:
every
area
is
covered,
Elliot
the
office
area,
we'll
respond
a
moment's
notice.
That's
enough!
Yeah
I
think
the
district
is
safe.
A
I
will
also
awesome.
Thank
you.
Thank
you
for
your
efforts.
We
also
have
noticed
such
a
significant
change
in
the
security
staff
over
the
past
year.
I
think
we
I
know
you
do
and
your
staff
take
the
security
of
our
district
seriously
by
all
the
things
you've
spoken
about
here
this
evening
and
the
presentations
you
have
done
over
the
years.
So
I
hope
all
the
folks
watching
at
home
know
that
their
children
are
safe,
while
they're
in
the
district
and
your
team
is
doing
everything
possible
to
make
sure
they
stay.
That
way.
A
K
B
B
Leadership
has
been
very
much
appreciated,
but
the
the
gentleman
here
and
all
of
the
the
the
guards
throughout
the
district
are
really
terrific
and.
B
To
highlight
something
that
that
people
don't
realize
I
was
over
at
Laurel
Park
I.
You
know,
I
sent
the
the
board
that
video
today
of
how
they
enter
over
in
Laurel,
Park
and
I'm,
going
to
mention
one
gentleman
Nate
is
over
there,
and
this
is
something
they
do
in
all
of
the
schools
in
the
morning
and
I'm
certain.
This
is
not
happening
everywhere,
but
it
does
happen
here
in
Brentwood,
and
that
is
that
the
the
you
have
the
bus
lane.
B
Obviously,
and
then
you
have
a
crosswalk
and
the
security
guards
are
right
out
there
and
what
they
do
is
they
actually
help
the
little
ones
out
of
the
car
and
walk
them
across
the
so
Nate
probably
makes
about
50
trips
every
single
day
from
a
car,
and
they
know
them
now
and
they
he
walks
him
up
to
the
curb
so
they're,
safe,
completely
safe
and
I've.
Seen
other
security
guards.
Do
that
as
well?
And
that's
that's
like
the
little
things
that
they
do.
B
It's
really
wonderful
to
say
because
I
know
that's
not
in
their
job
description
but
they've
taken
it
upon
themselves.
They
take
the
safety
of
the
kids
and
staff
very
seriously.
A
A
Foreign
again
and
so
I'm
gonna
look
a
little
ridiculous
for
the
next
duration
of
the
meeting,
but
I
need
to
see.
F
L
L
She
is
my
rock
and
an
amazing
person
get
a
little
bit
clumped,
but
Talk
Amongst
yourselves,
all
right,
not
to
drive
you
crazy,
with
a
lengthy
Transportation
presentation
of
Transportation
human
I'll
begin
just
by
presenting
the
budget
and
then
I'll
kind
of
go
into
some
of
the
think
exciting
things
that
we're
doing
in
the
transportation
department
this
year.
L
So
to
start
off,
the
budget
is
divided
into
two
areas:
5510,
which
is
our
district,
centralized
transportation,
office
and
5540,
which
is
we
contract
with
Suffolk
bus
to
provide
transportation
services
they're
an
amazing
partner
that
serves
the
district
very
well,
so
to
start
off,
35
10
1500
is
our
transportation
off
1500?
Well,
that's
instruct.
We
don't
have
a
surprise
there,
but
we
have
55
10
1600,
that's
a
non-instructional
secretaries
in
the
office
who
do
a
wonderful
job.
There's
a
contractual
increase.
L
There
was
a
desk
upgrade,
so
you
see
a
little
bit
more
than
just
the
normal
contractual
increase
overtime
code,
55
10
1601
we're
holding
steady,
55,
10
1900.
These
are
all
our
driver's
assistants
who
Service
that
are
put
on
buses
due
to
IEPs,
where
we
serve
as
special
needs
kids
to
make
sure
that
we
have
the
appropriate
supervision.
L
5510
bought
4460s
contractual
we've
eliminated
this
code.
Over
the
last
two
years,
no
expenditures
have
been
made
there.
55
10,
4
900
is
both
these
Transportation.
That's
our
routing
software
that
we
got
through
BOCES.
We
get
both
season
8
on
that
55
10
5
000
is
material
and
supplies
we're
having
we're
asking
for
a
150
increase.
What
we've
done
this
past
year
is
we've,
provided
our
driver's
assistance
with
high
visibility.
L
Jackets
for
their
safety
also
provides
us
with
more
professional
appearance
and
the
children
know
who
our
driver's
assistants
are
not
everybody's
wearing
their
own
jacket
from
home.
They
have
these
nice
high
visibility,
Yellow
Jackets,
keep
them
warm,
keeps
them
safe
and
also
provides
good
presence
for
the
district.
That's
the
district
operated
side
of
our
transportation
office.
Moving
on
to
5540
4
000
codes.
These
are
for
all
our
contracted
buses.
L
We've
asked
for
a
this
represents
with
a
little
shift
in
buses
about
a
five
percent
increase
the
transportation
contract
each
year
is
allowed
to
increase
by
CPI.
Last
year's
CPI
was
6.5,
so
the
contracts
did
increase
considerably,
we're
estimating
five
percent
there's
a
few
shifts
and
buses
based
on
the
constituents.
We
serve.
L
That's
the
majority
of
this
budget
with
a
little
bit
of
increases
for
music
field
trips
and
into
Scholastic
field
trips,
as
we
bounce
back
from
the
pandemic.
We're
experiencing
higher
volumes
in
some
of
these
activities,
which
is
a
good
thing.
It
provides
the
students
with
more
opportunities
to
compete
and
participate
in
events
in
other
districts
in
competitions.
I
know
our
music
programs
does
a
wonderful
job
in
the
state,
competitions
and
discuss
Scholastic
Athletics
as
well.
L
Fuel
costs
we're
going
to
hold
level
and
our
McKinney
ventil
homeless.
That's
the
last
line,
55
40
400,
it's
just
for
any
students
who
we
can't
invento
is
just
a
nice
recent
home
students
who
have
the
option
of
staying
within
this
District
if
they
become
homeless
and
have
to
move
to
Temporary
housing
in
another
District.
L
We
have
to
provide
them
with
Transportation
they're
entitled
to
spend
the
rest
of
this
their
current
year
in
which
they
become
homeless
and
an
additional
terminal
year,
if
it's
their
last
year
in
another
building,
so
we've
kind
of
broken
that
expense
out
to
kind
of
track
it
and
that's
basically,
the
public
service
money,
we're
holding
study
and
the
contingency
budget
is
in
the
event
that
we
run
into
a
situation
like
we
did
last
year,
where
you
know
expenses
increased
beyond
what
we
would
have
ever
thought
CPI
would
get
to.
So
that's.
L
B
Well,
why
don't
you
explain
to
the
community
Eric
the
nine
hour
and
six
hour
and
four
to
six
hour?
The
lift
bus
and
those
are
different,
Transportation
codes,
because
they're
actually
different
buses
for
different
uses
and.
L
Correct
so
the
nine
hour
large
buses
is
a
bus
that
we
would
contract
for
nine
hours
a
day.
Take
the
kids
to
school.
Some
of
them
do
some
other
runs
in
the
middle
of
the
day,
going
to
some
shoe
programs,
BOCES
programs
and
then
taking
the
kids
home
and
then
running
late
buses
at
night.
Those
are
basically
our
large
buses.
They're
set
routes,
they're,
usually
the
same
number
of
buses
each
day
they
run
their
own
routes.
L
It's
been
pretty
much
consistent
over
the
years
and
those
are
our
nine
and
six
hour
large
buses
that
you
see
running
around
the
district.
Most
of
the
day,
the
lift
buses
are
buses,
wheelchair
buses
that
we
use
for
children
who
require
a
wheelchair,
Ready
Bus
and
then
the
four
to
six
hour
bands.
That's
an
in-district
bus,
that's
the
buses
that
bring
our
special
needs.
Kids
to
the
buildings,
those
are
usually
staffed
with
driver's
assistance,
that's
the
55-40
4007
code
and
then
the
55-40
400104.
It
says:
OD,
that's
out
of
District
transportation.
L
B
L
I
B
Well
now,
the
nine
hour
bus,
the
upk
kids,
which
ones
are
they
in
which
budget
code.
L
So
upk
is
actually
funded
by
federal
funds,
federal
funds,
so
they're,
not
even
Partners.
So
all
the
kids
that
we
transport
to
family
service
league,
mdq
and
Shepherd's
Gate
are
paid
for
under
Federal
code
that
we
have
the
federal
Pre-K
Grant.
So
that's
not
even
included
in
this.
B
L
Dan
is
definitely
a
welcome
addition
to
the
department
he's
hit
the
ground
running,
he's
doing
a
wonderful
job,
really
getting
a
hold
of
purchasing.
At
this
point,
doing
a
fantastic
job
he's
able
to
provide
a
little
bit
more
training
to
some
of
the
staff
to
help
them
realize
the
appropriate
way
to
purchase
within
the
district
getting
into
transportation
is
a
lot
to
learn
so
we're
taking.
B
L
B
J
F
A
L
I
will
just
say
some
general
comments:
transportation,
the
hiring
of
staff
is
still
still
an
issue.
We've
got
into
a
situation
where
we
can't
find
drivers,
we
have
a
McKinney
vento
out
of
district
and
we
have
to
set
up
a
new
bus,
we're
still
sometimes
getting
into
situations
where
we
do
have
some
driver
shortages.
We
do
have
a
little
bit
of
a
shortage
with
our
bus
matrons
we're
trying
to
keep
up
with
some
of
the
people
that
are
retiring
and
constantly
hiring.
We
have
an
interview
tomorrow
morning
at
10
30
for
another
one.
L
We've
been
consistently
interviewing
and
trying
to
track
driver's
assistance.
So
anybody
out
there
listening.
We
will
train
you,
it's
it's
a
it's
a
fine
job.
You
work
a
few
hours
in
the
morning
a
few
hours
in
the
afternoon.
B
Tell
you
I've
talked
to
Nicole
Valente.
Actually
she
was
here
this
this
evening,
but
We've
we've
actually
been
been
pretty
Progressive
in
sending
it
out
to
all
different
places.
We've
actually
gone
to
churches.
The
HR
is
going
they're
going
to
PTA
meetings
and
handing
out
we're
actually
getting.
You
know
quite
a
few
applications.
Lots
more
than
we've
ever
received
or
I
should
say
lots
more
than
we
expected
at
this
point
and
we're
we're
hiring.
You
know
not
just
bus
monitors
but
we're
also
hiring
monitors.
Teacher
aides.
B
L
Electronic
sign
and
yeah
the
HR
does
do
a
fantastic
job.
I've
had
15
hires
this
year,
just
through
driver's
assistance
that
we've
interviewed
and
brought
on
trained
and
got
them
all
set
up.
They're
required
to
take
an
eight-hour
training
class
as
well
as
a
physical
performance
test
qualified
for
the
job
once
they
pass
that
we
put
them
on
with
the
training
program.
We
have
a
a
great
supervisor
in
in
our
who
manages
our
driver's
assistants,
who
does
a
fine
job
training
them
teaching
them
how
to
interact
with
children
in
a
positive
way.
L
To
make
sure
that
you
know
the
goal
of
transportation
is
to
to
get
the
children
to
school
and
get
them
there
in
in
a
way
that
they're
ready
to
learn
that
you
know
the
trip
wasn't
frustrating
they
didn't.
You
know
have
to
deal
with
some
adverse
conditions,
so
we're
really
trying
to
do
a
good
job
in
our
assistant
and
our
supervisor.
Knife
Department
helps
get
that
done
and
she's
created.
B
Put
it
out
on
parent
Square
I
think
we've
had
it
on
Facebook,
we've
posted
in
a
number
of
places,
I
I
know
Kansas.
F
I
Organization
they
have
events
yeah,
you
know.
Maybe
we
can
do
a
a
presentation
at
one
of
our
board
meetings
about
all
the
job
descriptions
for
these
jobs
and
they'll,
actually
what
they
are
getting
into
yeah,
because
the
hours
for
example
for
the
bus
monitors
are,
are
you
know,
there's
gaps
in
between
it's?
You
know
it's
not
a
straight
eight
to
four
nine.
J
E
A
Good
idea,
I
just
thought
we
continuously
rotate
these
types
of
positions
on
our
Instagram
page
Facebook
page.
You
know
as
much
as
we
can.
You
know
we
I
know
we
do
it,
but
we
I'm
not
saying
that
we
don't,
but
we
should
be
consistent
in
it
so
that
you
know
it's
a
constant
rotation
of
you
know.
This
is
what's
available
in
the
school.
I
I
E
L
L
We
gave
them
all
the
first
level
of
what's
called
CPI
prices,
CPI
training,
right
training
and
now
we're
going
to
be
providing
a
Next
Level
Training,
this
February
5th
on
the
weekend
to
do
a
four
hour
training
for
our
DA's
for
on
some
of
the
routes,
with
more
some
of
our
more
high-need
students
to
teach
them
how
to
better
deal
with
these
kids
in
a
positive
way.
So
it's
it's!
It's
been
working
out
well
for
providing
us
every
push
for
this
training
right,
yeah.
A
L
I
L
I
I
I
L
One
I
think
that's
about
it,
then
you
have
anything
you
like,
sir
well.
G
D
G
L
No,
we
have
another
highlight
I.
Guess
you
could
say
is
we
have
two
electric
vehicles
that
are
being
serviced
by
the
district
or
that
our
servicing
District
excuse
me,
but
no,
they
don't
change
the
cost.
The
bus
was
the
cost
of
a
bus
and
Suffolk
transportation
is
trying
to
get
on
as
many
electric
vehicles
as
they
possibly
can.
L
Speaking
to
them.
I
guess
there's
some
issues
with
some
of
the
charging.
That's
happening
so
they're
trying
to
work
out
those
Kinks
with
the
contractors
to
develop
a
better
charging
system,
but
no
there
is
no
additional
cost
in
the
district.
Thank.
F
You
that's
for
now,
though,
because
the
cost
of
an
electric
bus
is
considerably
more
than
than
a
traditional
bus
cs.
Plus
we
did
enter
into
a
grant
a
grant
opportunity
or
applied
for
a
grant.
I
should
say
with
Suffolk
transportation,
to
get
more
electric
buses
for
them.
We
do
have
to
convert.
As
of
now,
we
have
to
convert
to
any
new
vehicle
being
electric
a
few
years
from
now.
So
that's
going
to
be
very
costly
for
all
bus
companies.
F
We
don't
even
know
if
that's
realistic,
if
they'll
be
able
to
make
that
many
buses-
probably
not
right
so
we'll
have
to
look
at
when
that.
Actually,
you
know
comes
to
be
but
yeah,
potentially
that
there's
a
lot
of
different
course
involved
with
that
not
only
the
cost
of
the
bus,
the
cost
to
ensure
it
is
going
to
go
up
so
much.
So
that's
something
you
know
we're
keeping
an
eye
on,
but
right
now
it
hasn't
cost
us
anything
yet
saved
us
anything.
Well,
of
course,
the
same
thing
additional
right.
B
B
You
know
Justin
can
I
give
a
quick
update.
I
mean
the
diversity,
equity
and
inclusion
consultant.
Miss
green
actually
is
she's,
really
actually
been
a
terrific
partner.
She
works
actually
very
closely
with
the
assistant
superintendents
the
costs.
The
way
the
board
policy
is
worded,
they
actually
the
assistant
superintendents
along
with
HR.
B
They
go
through
the
the
applications
and
Miss
green
is
a
part
of
that
review
of
the
applications
and
she's
been
she's,
really
been
terrific
in
terms
of
working
closely
with
the
assistant
superintendents,
as
they
call
through
sometimes
hundreds,
if
not
a
thousand
applications
depending
on
the
job.
B
A
At
least
the
person
I
just
wanted
to
also
take
this
opportunity,
Eric
and
Dan-
to
thank
you
also
for
your
contributions
to
the
district
for
being
such
excellent
leaders
and
you
know
making
sure
we're
fiscally
responsible
along
with
Stacy.
So
it
is
appreciated
it's
notice
and
please
extend
our
gratitude
to
your
staff
as
well.
A
I
would
be
remiss
if
I
didn't
thank
you.
Candace
I
didn't
get
when
you
presented.
So
thank
you
for
also
being
a
great
leader
for
your
staff
and
taking
care
of
our
district.
It
doesn't
go
unnoticed.
I
know
you
know
we're
hard
Bunch
up
here,
we're
demanding
we
are,
and
that's
only
because
we
want
the
best
for
our
district
and-
and
we
know
you
do
too,
and
so.
Thank
you.
A
I
know
these
past
three
years
have
been
trying
for
everyone
and
We've
made
some
long
strides
in
our
technology,
especially
with
the
mandates
that
were
put
in
front
of
us
with
covid
and
making
sure
that
we
provided
education
to
our
community,
our
students.
So
you
did
move
a
lot
of
mountains.
B
F
E
B
No
Candace
has
done
a
tremendous
job
and
what
I
love
about
Candace
too?
She
has
lots
of
great
ideas.
She
is
the
one
that
introduced
the
communication
Aid
to
the
buildings.
I
was
just
speaking
to
Candace
the
other
day
and
that's
been
just
a
fabulous
addition.
You
know
you're
not
always
sure
whether
you
know
adding
a
staff
in
certain
areas
that
has
not
never
been
done
before.
B
If
that's
going
to
work
out,
but
Paula
and
Russ
have
been
terrific
leaders
in
that
area,
but
that
was
Candace's
idea
and
it
really
has
been
fantastic
and
I.
Honestly
I,
don't
know
how
she
manages
it,
because
we
do
have
a
tremendous
amount
of
equipment
and
she's
very
she's,
also
like
Stacy,
very
calm
and
cool
and
collected,
and
you
call
her
up
and
you
know
any
issue
that
we
have
she
actually
she
you
know
listens
to
it,
and
you
know
a
couple
of
hours
later.
You'll
get
a
response.
A
You
know
we
work
in,
we
live
and
work
in
the
the
era
of
Technology
right
and
it
changes
moment
to
moment
so
it
we're
always
playing
catch
up
right
and
especially
in
a
district
this
size.
So
we
can
appreciate
that,
and
you
know,
and
as
Julie
said,
we
are
hard
cookies
because
again
we
we
want
the
best
of
our
district
and
and
we're
always
going
to
strive
for
excellence
here,
because
our
children
deserve
it.
So.
B
That
existence-
no
it's
it's
really
that's
all
they
need
is
just
a
little,
the
Red
Hats
and
the
green
outfits
and
the
booties
it
says
they
are.
You
know
putting
together
equipment
and
shipping
it
out
and
actually
Jamie's.
Actually,
here
he's
responsible
for
moving
the
thousands
and
thousands
and
thousands.
A
Of
pieces
of
equipment,
because
we
know
you
went
above
and
beyond
during
yeah
our
time
of
covert,
not
that
it's
ended,
but
you
know
that
time
period
where
you
know
that
was
scary
and
there
was
a
lot
of
unknowns
and
we
had
to
keep
the
district
moving.
And
you
know
you,
along
with
many
others.
You
know
went
above
and
beyond.
So
we
are
grateful
and
thankful
yeah.
B
E
A
A
But
you
know
we
are
tremendously
grateful
and
happy
for
the
you
know
amount
of
support
we
have
in
this
District
we
couldn't
do
it,
I
mean
we're
just
one
portion
of
it.
Well,
everybody
else
is
on
the
ground.
It's.
A
I
B
B
That
no
I
think
it's
after
July
one
to
tell
you
right:
yeah
yeah,
it's
the
it's
the
school
year!
So.
I
B
If
they're
21
on
July
15th,
maybe
that
would
be
a
better
example.
They
can
actually
start
and
finish
that
school
year
now
understand.
You
know
if
they
graduate
from
high
school,
because
that's
actually
a
great
question
if
they
graduate
from
high
school,
because
we
do
get
this
question
occasionally
they
cannot
continue.
So
they,
if
they
you
know.
Thankfully,
if
they
graduate,
let's
say
17
18
years
old,
they're
seniors
they
graduate.
They
cannot
continue
it's
those
students
who
have
not
yet
completed
the
required
course
coursework.
That's
22
credits.
B
You
know,
depending
on
whether
you
know
where
they
are,
it's
22
credits
for
every
student,
but
it's
it's
also
regions
examinations.
Let's
say
they
finish
that
at
17,
18,
19,
20
years
old,
they've
graduated.
They
can
no
longer
continue.
However,
there
are
special
education.
B
You
said
15.
well,
I
use
that
example.
If
they
turn
21
after
July
1st
July
1st,
they
can
remain
in
school
that
whole
year
and
we
actually
do
have
students
who
remain
with
us,
and
it's
really,
as
Miss
Young
said,
that
it
they're
the
the
students
that
are
alternate
assessed
and
they
you
know
they
do
stay
with
us.
I
Well,
we
also
have
some
enl
students.
That's.
B
B
I
B
Great
that's
correct.
Well,
you
mentioned
something.
Also
I
don't
know
if
you
you
meant
that,
but
it's
if
they
graduated
from
a
high
school
in
another
country.
Okay,
that's
also
that's
a
great
question
as
well.
They
also
you
know
they
can't
they've
graduated
from
that.
No,
they
cannot
right.
They
graduated
from
high
school
in
another
country.
B
They
haven't
graduated
in
another
country.
They
can,
but
you,
because
that
also
has
come
up
over
the
years
where
someone
might
have
graduated,
maybe
from
Central,
America
or
South
America
country.
We
obviously
get
their
transcripts
and
if
it
shows
that
they
they
completed
a
secondary
school,
then
actually
they
go
on.
Obviously
we
want
them,
then,
to
go
on
to
you,
know:
Suffolk
Community,
College
or
some
some
other
place
where
they
can
maybe
take
some
e
l
courses
and
proceed
through
college
and.
I
B
E
A
Back
to
the
next
one,
when
does
boxes
and
I
didn't
have
the
sheet.
