A
Hi
everyone,
my

is
ranka
rasik
and
I'm
the
mayor
of
brimbank,
welcome
to
brimbank

which
brings
your
news
about
what's
happening
in
brimbank
and
how
you
can
get
involved.
You
can
receive
the
newsletter
by
subscribing
by
our

It
is
celebration
time
in
brimbank
recently
we
celebrated
cultural
diversity
week
with
an
exciting
program
of
festivals
and
events
across
our
city.
We
are
always
proud
to
celebrate
the
diverse
and
vibrant
melting
pot
of
cultures
that
is
brim
bay.
More
celebrations
are
around
the
corner
with
our
popular
be
bold
festival.
A
Returning
in
april,
this
will
be
a
jam-packed
two
days
with
plenty
of
arts,
culture,
music
and
performances
to
join
in
saint
auburn's.
I'd
like
to
invite
everyone
to
join
the
celebration.
You'll
find
more
information
online.
If
you'd
like
to
grow
your
own
food
and
meet
other
people,
why
not
get
involved
in
community
gardening?
I
was
out
at
westfale
community
center
last
week
to
launch
a
new
guide
to
community
gardening
in
brimbank.
This
is
a
handy
guide
for
anyone
interested
in
growing
their
own
food
and
plants.
You'll
find
the
guide
on
our
website.
A
I'm
also
proud
to
be
campaigning
for
the
upgrade
to
the
calder
freeway.
This
is
urgently
needed,
and
council
is
calling
on
the
state
and
federal
governments
to
invest
in
several
major
upgrades.
This
will
improve
safety,
reduce
congestion
and
provide
better
access
and
connection
to
cater
for
population
and
freight
growing.
We
will
continue
to
advocate
strongly
for
these
much
needed
upgrades.
Also,
please
don't
miss
the
opportunity
to
have
your
say
on
matters
that
affect
you
check
our
website
to
find
out
what
you
can
provide
feedback
on
stay
safe,
stay
well,
thank.
