the
mayor
of
rim
Bank
welcome

view,
which
is
our
monthly
council,
video
blog?
If
you'd
like
to

you

today,

I
harvest
co-working,
which
is
Melvin's
newest
co-working
space
right
here
in
the
heart
of
sunshine
councils.
Draft
budget
for
the
1920
financial
year
is
now
out
for
comment.
This
budget
has
been
shaped
by
your
ideas
about
what
you
want
to
counsel
the
fund.
A
It
has
an
extensive
capital
work
allocation
of
eighty
five
point:
eight
million
dollars,
twenty
five
point:
eight
million
on
road
and
footpath
improvements,
1.7
million
dollars
on
bike
and
shared
pathways,
5.4
million
on
Town
Center
upgrades,
1.9
million
on
sustainability
projects
and,
of
course,
4.9
million
on
our
ever-popular
parks,
playgrounds
and
Gardens.
This
investment
will
support
our
community
to
have
the
best
possible
quality
of
life
into
the
future.
What's
also
really
great
about
this
year's
budget,
is
it
72
percent
of
residential
properties
will
receive
a
decrease
in
their
rates.
A
Bill
council
is
offering
$600,000
in
community
grants
during
the
trick
1920
financial
year.
We're
also
offering
heaps
of
extra
support
for
applicants
to
give
local
community
groups
the
best
possible
chance
of
success,
we'll
have
interpreters
on
staff
and
available
from
all
of
these
sessions,
but
please,
let
us
know
in
advance.

that
princess
streets,
revamp
and
makeover
is
almost
complete.

new
seating
which
has
been
inspired
by
Lee
Barry,

of

the
Barry
theater
is
named
us.
We've
also
increase
the
tree
cover
to
really
make
this
an
inspiring
and
inviting
area
this
month.
There
are
heaps
of
fantastic
events
happening
in
and
around
brim
Bank,
and
this
includes
the
black
powder
mill
open
day,
which
is
held
on
the
3rd
of
May.
You
can
go
along
and
find
out
all
of
the
information
and
background
on
this
heritage-listed
mill.
We
have
their
neighborhood
house
week
come
and
try
programs.
