I
am
pleased
to
say
the
annual
budget
council
has
adopted
for
2020-21
has
a
zero
percent
rate
increase.
We
understand
the
financial
impacts
brought
on
by
the
global
pandemic
and
by
applying
a
rates
freeze
for
this
financial
year.
We
hope
this
will
ease
some
of
the
financial
pressures
facing
our
residents
and
their
families.
A
The
budget
will
support
council's
robust
capital
works
program,
spend
of
74
point
million
dollars
and
the
delivery
of
a
range
of
key
services
and
programs.
The
budget
was
adopted
following
community
feedback
and
reflects
community
input,
as
well
as
council's
vision,
to
support
our
community
and
businesses
through
the
covert
19
pandemic.
A
This
includes
new
extended
provisions
for
commercial
properties
and
local
businesses
that
apply
for
financial
relief,
including
a
15
waiver
of
the
first
three
rate
installment
for
covert
19,

changed
its

be

recovery
grants
program.
The
focus
is
on
supporting
our
community
and
local
business
in

A
The
bring
