Rec
fan

take

to
San
Bruno
Mountain,

there
are
very
passive
paths
there,
the
Youth
Camp
Trail
and

Guadalupe
Trail,

they

dogs
there,
which
sometimes
dogs
could
be
an
issue
on
Quarry
Road
for
people.

was
hoping

do

Bruno

is
in

are
there

school
hours.

lot

friends

unless
they
are
interested
in
school
and
they
want

kind

hang
out

us

to
get
their
kids

The
parents
clean
the
school,

parents
maintain

school,

Deep
cleanings,

we're

very
active
family
as
we
get
together
outside
and
gotten
to
know
our
each
other
quite

whatnot,

it's
lesser
expensive
and
then
your
montessories
or
your
other
preschools.

of
that.

a
multi-age
preschool
two
and
a
half
to
five,
but
when
they
are
in
the

they
are
ready
for
graduation,
we
do
have
a
pull
out
Pre-K.
So
just
the
kids
who
are
going
into
kindergarten

fall.
They

a
separate
pull
out
with
myself
and
we
work
on.

Readiness,
because
we
are
a
full-on
play-based
model
of
school.
So
we
don't
have
a
lot
of
have
to's,
it's
really
free-flowing
and
it's
our
curriculum.

children

daughter's

She
came
home
singing
the
months
of
the

understanding
her
senses,

learning
at
the
school,

though
she's

the
Pre-K
Readiness
class,

preschool
teacher

close

Marcella
who
I
handed
that
off

it's
nice
we
work
really
sometimes

walks

big
park
down
in
the
in
the
middle
of
town,
we'll
see
that
classroom
and
or
the
kids
from
that
class,
and
we
just
all
play
together,
and
it's
really
great.

always
nice
to
be.

didn't
work
for
my
schedule

shift

with

morning
and
part

afternoon
going
over

variety

topics.

was
a
fun
day

I

to

staff

making

the
stuff
that
we
had
to
get
through
was
not
exactly
exciting
material,
but
we
got
through
it
with
their
help.

anticipate
coming

program
presentations
on
those
given
months,
but
we

certainly
move

shift
anything.

opportunity

meet

city
council
subcommittee

Liaisons

park
and
rec
commission
kind

be
part

that
conversation
at
that

our

commission's
goals
are
aligning
with
the
direction
and
Council
goals.

last
time
the
city
council
reviewed
the
capital
Improvement
projects
list.
They
did
prioritize
the
assessment
of
the
old
library
and
Community
Center
staff
has
secured
a
quote
from
Siegel
and
strain,
which

same
architect
that
worked
on
the
new
library.
That
needs
to
go
back
to
the
city
council
subcommittee,
for
them
to
authorize
for
staff
to
proceed
with
that
process.

of
break
this

pieces,

seem

overwhelming,

even
if
we
set
goals
and
have
to
readjust
we'll
still

progress

that

kinds

dates

2023
concert
series
they'll
be
marketed
as
the
July
nights

August
days

They
talked
about
all
the
ways
that
they

formed
their

Arts
advisory
committee,

they
got
their
surveys
done,
how

was
for
salaries
for
actual
people
who
worked
for
the
City
versus
versus
the
projects
themselves
and,
let's

just

and

they
figured
out,
how
they
could
use
a
consultant
to
help
them

up

public
art

it
was
really
great,
and
there
were
lots
of
good
ideas
on
some
of
their
their
public
art
that
they
had
already
done
by
starting
small
and

working
up
from
there.

bringing
in
the
community
really
doing
lots
of
Outreach
to
artists
in
South
San
Francisco,
and
it
was
just
very
interesting
and
it
helped
our
our
group
kind
of
wrap
our
brains
around
what
our
art
council
could
do
with
our

our
current
budget
and
how
to
move
forward
with
hiring
a
consultant
that
we
need
to
hire
to
put
together
our
Community
Arts.

lunafest

Brisbane,

modified

chamber
recently
held
a
cabaret
night,
which
was
very,
very
successful
and
very
well
received.

think
that
there's
quite
a
few
learnings
from
that
event
that
we
can
apply
going
forward
to
lunafest
so

on
the
lookout
for
some
changes.

another
meeting
coming
up
where
we're
going
to
continue
to
explore
that

also
talked
about
taking
a
look
at
the
ticket
fees
and
assessing
on
whether
or
not
we
feel
like
those

still
accurate
in
modern
times

Fest
will
be
different
this
year
it
will
be
bigger
and
better
in
every
way
and
we're
really
excited
to
keep
it
moving
forward.

regards
to
classes
and
programs,
I
wanted
to
share
a
few
items
with
you,
the
San
Mateo
County
summer
enrichment,
Grant,
was
received
here
in
Brisbane
awarded
35
000
for
kinder
to
12th
programs.
So
we're
really
excited
staff
are
really
excited
about
that
grant
that
we
have
received,
and
that
will
be
used
towards
equipment
with
regards
to
stem
programs,
demonstrations
and
scholarships.
So
that
is
something
that
staff
will
be
working
on
as
we
prepare
for
the
summer
months.

our
artist
Shirley
Lim,
who
teaches
programs
with
our
department,
has
her
artwork
up

the
conference
room

Women's
history
month
is
this
month,
including
today,
as
International
women's
day
and
with
that
staff
is
working

social
media

information
with

we
have
our
mob
play
gym.
Additionally,
the
Lifeguard
class
Rainer
shine
will
be
taking
place
and
that
is
full
this
weekend.
So
that's
very
exciting
and
those
who
pass

class
are
welcome
to
apply
for
our
lifeguarding
positions
for
the
summer
and
then
we
are
working
on
our
next
activity
guide
which
we
are
set
to
release
at
April
30th.
So
keep
an
eye
out
for
that
and
we
are
continuing
to
program
and
prepare
events
for
that
activity.

few
highlights
regarding
senior
programs,
so
the
Monday
lunches
we've
seen
an
uptick
in
the
service,
so
we're
serving
about
80
meals
per
week.
To
this
to
the
seniors,
the
senior
club
membership
is
also
up.
We
have
one
of
our
lead
preschool
teachers,
Iris
who's,
been
doing
art
with
the
seniors
and
really
taking
the
approach
of
understanding
art
for
them
with
regards
to
like
arthritis
and
their
fine
motor
skills,
and
so
they've
really
appreciated
having
her
kind
of
energetic
spirit
with
their
art
program.

our
spring,
our
spring
break
Camp,
is
two
weeks,
so
that's
starting
April
3rd
and
extends
through
April
14th,
and
so
registration
is
open
for
that
that'll
be
over
at
Brisbane
elementary
school.
So
we
hope
that
families

join
us
there.
We
do
have
our
our
final
parents,
Night
Out
event,
I,
believe
it's
Saturday,
April
15th,
that's
always
popular
event
and
has
sold
out
in
the
coming
in
the
recent
months.
Our
summer
camp
registration
is
still
open,
but
five
out
of
our
eight
sessions
are
already
full
and
then
we
do
have
our
preschool.

English
and
Spanish
that
we
have
available
not
only
through
the
school
year
but

summer
time
as
well,
and
then

finish
