Description
The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia
1st Session
42nd Parliament
A
Thank
you
honorable
speaker.
I
would
like
to
acknowledge
all
of
the
hard
work
and
resiliency
of
the
people
who
live
in
my
beautiful
riding
on
top
of
everything
related
to
the
pandemic.
The
challenges
that
we
face
during
flooding
and
wildfires
of
recent
years
has
brought
the
best
out
of
the
people
of
caribou
chilcotin
in
terms
of
covet
19
people
like
tammy,
tugnum
and
joy
hennig
with
the
caribou
hospital
foundation.
Trust
have
used
their
imagination
to
reinvent
their
annual
gala
three
times
due
to
heavier
health
restrictions.
A
A
How
about
key
volunteers
like
court
and
pauline
smith
and
tim
and
susan
rolfe,
along
with
so
many
of
their
board
members
and
volunteers,
with
the
famous
williams
lake
stampede
who
working
in
partnership
with
our
williams
lake
rotary
club,
led
by
mike
austin
and
getter
wickerly,
hosted
two
drive-through
pancake
breakfasts
and
a
rib
carb-queue?
Yes,
honorable
speaker,
I
said
barbecue
that
raised
a
lot
of
funds
for
people
who
really
need
this
money
in
our
community
right
now.
A
Harris,
maureen,
pinckney
and
dave
mingo
have
all
made
a
big
difference
in
100
mile
house.
The
list
goes
on
honorable
speaker,
but
I
am
very
proud
of
the
resiliency
and
the
dedication
of
all
of
our
community
volunteers
in
the
cariboo
chilton,
who
are
making
a
difference
under
extremely
challenging
times.
Thank
you
very
much.
