A
Member
for
richmond
south
centre-
thank
you,
mr
speaker.
Board
of
directors
of
non-profits
and
charities
are
expected
to
exercise
exceptional
versatility
and
resourcefulness,
while
leading
the
organization
that
that
they
represent
to
fundraise,
volunteer
recruitment
and
coordination
event,
promotion
and
taking
sales,
community
celebration,
attendance
and
networking
with
local
leaders
hosting
public
engagement
and
advocates,
advocating
for
great
causes,
budget
evaluation
and
addressing
operational
challenges
and
much
much
more.
A
It
takes
someone
with
an
extraordinary
passion,
exemplary
attention
to
detail
an
admirable
level
of
resourcefulness
and
a
wavering
dedication
to
serve
on
the
board
of
a
non-profit
charity,
slash
charity.
Most
of
all,
it
takes
a
unique
experience
and
knowledge
to
serve
the
position.
Well,
that's
why
I
want
to
take
a
moment
to
say
how
proud
I
am
of
leadership.
Now
richmond
cares.
A
Richmond

program
or
october,
2nd
2021,
rcrg,
youth,
now
celebrated
their
17th
anniversary,
and,
up
to
that
point
they
had
over
a
hundred
young
adults
graduated
from
the
program
led
by
sidney
kuh.
The
program
provides
a
rare
opportunity
for
young
adults
to
serve
on
the
board
of
a
local,
non-profit
or
charity.
A
While
they
serve,
they
will
be
mentored
by
another
experienced
director,
a
partnership
where
organizations
in
richmond
come
together
to
cultivate
young
adults
of
today
to
become
leaders
of
tomorrow.
Rcrg
youth
now
is
a
remarkable
program
where
passionate
youth,
youth,
young
visionaries
will
access
the
means
and
receive
guidance
needed
to
better
the
community.
