Description
The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia
2nd Session
42nd Parliament
A
Anniversary
fleetwood,
thank
you
honorable
speaker.
A
I'm
also
really
really
really
very
pleased
to
be
back,
and
you
know
it's
really
pleased
to
see
every
member
of
this
house
in
the
house
today
after
a
long
time
and
my
best
wishes
for
a
very
productive
and
friendly
friendly
debate
moving
forward,
and
that's
not
my
statement
by
the
way.
Honorable
speaker
october,
two
bridge
foster
family
month.
A
A
We
want
to
thank
foster
caregivers
for
their
commitment
to
support
bc's
young
people.
This
appreciation
is
not
only
for
what
they
do
on
a
daily
basis,
but
what
for
for
what
they
were
doing
under
the
additional
stresses
of
the
last
18
18
months?
The
government
is
committed,
mr
speaker,
to
all
youth,
but
particularly
indigenous
youth
remaining
within
their
families
or
within
their
extended
communities,
so
that
cultural
traditions,
practices
and
connections
are
recognized,
maintained
and
supported.
A
The
government
is
also
committed
to
ensuring
foster
foster
families,
provide
safe,
nurturing
and
cultural
relevant
homes
for
pcs,
children,
youth
and
sibling
groups
in
need
of
foster
homes.
There
is
mr
speaker
and
ever-present
demand
for
for
caring
adults
and
families
to
provide
safe,
supportive
homes
to
all
children
and
youth
who
need
them
across
bc.
