Barkerville
historic
town
is
delighted
to
announce
that
it
will
be
open
on
june
4th
of
2022
with
the
return
of
street
interpretations
stores.
Restaurants,
exhibits
and
lodgings
barkerville's
street
interpretation
has
received
a
revamp.
Barkerville's,
talented
professional
interpreters
have
deepened
their
roles
and
expanded
upon
their
historic
stories.
A
Each
interpreter
is
a
living
breathing
storybook
and
is
advised
that
you
give
yourselves
at
least
a
full
day
on
site,
if
not
two
to
experience
even
a
fraction
of
what
barkerville
has
to
offer
in
its
kilometer
of
historic
street,
with
over
125
historic
buildings
and
plentiful
exhibits.
Indigenous
interpretations
will
be
integrated
throughout
the
site's
programs
and
encourages
meaningful
learning
and
conversations
between
interpreters
and
visitors
in
a
safe
and
inclusive
place.
Barkerville's
indigenous
celebration
will
also
take
place
on
bc
day
august.

the
historic
richfield
courthouse
to
continue
to
celebrate
barkable's
deep
chinese
roots,
the
beautiful
chinese
mid-autumn
moon
festival
will
occur
on
september
3rd.
Oh
there's
so
much

I

news

the

campgrounds,

and

are

up
fast.
