25th
is
the
U.N
recognized
International
Day
for
the
elimination
or
violence
against
women
and
the
start
of
the
16th
day
of
activism
against
gender-based
violence,
but
keeping
loans
until
December
10th,
which
is
International
Day
of
Human
Rights,
gender-based
and
sexual
response
too
often
impact
women,
girls,
two
Spirits
transgender
non-binary
and
other
gender
diverse
people
with
devastating
and
long-lasting
impact
in
our
Province.
Gender-Based
violence
is
also
Complicated
by
numerous
barriers
and
stigma.
A
An
unfortunately
gender-based
violence
still
exists
today
of
professional
government
is
committed
to
helping
and
end
gender-based
violence
and
we
partner
with
Community
organizations,
advocacy
groups,
sexual
assault,
centers
victim
services
and
transition
houses
to
support
victims
and
their
communities
with
professional
care
and
compassionate
support.
Some
actions
of
our
government
has
taken
so
far
provide
paid
leave
for
people
facing
domestic
sexual
or
sexual
violence
undertake
consultation
regarding
the
non-consensual
disclosure
of
intimate
image.
Starting
next
year.
A
An
additional
10
million
annually
will
be
provided
to
establish
stable
fighting
for
sexual
assault,
centers
we're
providing
an
annual
funding
to
support
400
victim
services
and
finance
against
Walmart
program
across
the
province.
Our
government
is
also
investing
734
million
over
10
years
to
build
and
operate
1500
transition,
housing
second
stage
housing
and
long-term
housing
spaces
for
women,
children
fleeing
violence.
