Description
The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia
3rd Session
42nd Parliament
A
Sorry,
sorry
south,
thank
you,
mr
speaker,
we're
not
quite
done
yet.
In
2010,
when
I
was
appointed
minister
of
community
sport
and
cultural
development,
those
closest
to
me
chuckled
just
a
little.
I
am
not
sporty
in
the
slightest.
A
All
of
those
jeans
in
my
family
went
to
my
sister
emily,
but
I
am
a
good
fan
so
today,
I'd
like
to
say
congratulations
to
the
more
than
30
bc
athletes
who
competed
in
the
2022
winter
olympics
over
the
past.
Well,
two
weeks,
rbc
olympians
demonstrated
outstanding
determination,
courage
and
sportsmanship
as
they
competed
in
their
sports
and
represented
our
country.
A
I
extend
sincere
congratulations
to
all
of
our
olympic
athletes
and
remind
everyone
that
the
competition
is
not
over
and
the
former
member
for
parksville
qualicum
is
whispering
in
my
ear
in
this
moment
that
the
paralympics
start
march
4th
49
more
athletes
are
anxiously
awaiting
their
opportunity
to
compete
for
canada.
So
good
luck
to
the
eight
athletes
representing
canada
from
bc,
molly
jepson
logan,
leach,
adam
kingsmill,
ethan,
hess,
emily
young
natalie,
wilkie,
tyler,
turner
and
ina
forrest
we'll
be
cheering
you
on
go.
Canada
go.
