This
week,
along
with
the
work
of
the
ministry
of
children
and
family
development,
is
helping
to
break
the
stigma
around
being
in
foster
care.
This
week
is
also
a
reminder
that
our
role
is
to
listen,
respect
and
support
children
and
youth
from
care
as
they
transition
to
adulthood

When
I
was
a
teen,
I
remember
visiting
a
friend
who
lived
in
cicada
place
and
I
know
having
a
safe
place
to
call
home
was
critically
important
for
them.

this
is
one
of
the
best
places
I
have
ever
lived.
It
is
such
a
friendly
and
supportive
environment

to
work
with
you

to
meet
your
needs
and
goals.
