leads
me
to
my
two-minute
statement.
Honorable
speaker,
I'd
like
to
speak
to
The
Life
and
Times
of
Paul
Kershaw
or
PK
as
he
was
affectionately,
known
PK
was
an
educator
director,
Community
leader,
mentor
and
kind
soul.
A
A
drama
and
stagecraft
teacher
for
over
25
years
at
Mount
Baker
senior
Secondary
School
in
Cranbrook
PK
gave
thousands
of
students
the
opportunity
to
push
their
own
limits
and
discover
themselves
on
stage
and
Beyond.
His
passion
and
love
of
theater
naturally
add
to
his
involvement
in
cranbrook's
community
theater
and
cranberry
Shakespeare
Society
he's
one
of
a
handful
of
people
behind
the
creation
of
the
key
City
Theater,
which,
for
more
than
30
years,
staged
many
of
PK's
Productions.

his
contribution
to
theater
and
Performing
Arts,
this

PK
beautifully

he
was
a
robust,
yet
tender
man
who
dreamed

sorrow
and
who
ran
where
the
brave
dare
not
go.

Accolades
and
tributes
continue
to
pour
in
honoring
his
positive
impact
on
so
many
people
PK
will
be
missed,
but
his
legacy
will
live
on
and
off
the
stage.

Paul,
sadly
passed
away,
April
13
2023
at
the
age
of
89
and
is
survived
by
Sarah,
his
wife
of
21
years,
Sons,
David
and
Mark
Foster
daughter,
Janie,
and
by
his
siblings
John,
Allen
and
Ruth
with
his
house.

man

this.
