Description
The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia
4th Session
42nd Parliament
A
Member
for
North
Coast-
pardon
me
thank
you
honorable
speaker,
just
before
we
get
started.
I
just
I
wanted
to
mention
that
I
was
unable
to
attend
the
flag
raising
for
the
transgender
transgender
day
of
visibility.
But
I
did
my
level
best
to
wear
the
appropriate
colors.
A
That's
the
best
I
could
do
today,
but
I
I
wish
I
could
have
been
there,
and
so
I
just
want
to
give
a
shout
out
to
all
the
trans
people
in
my
life
and
in
BC
that
I
that
I
don't
know
so
anyways
today,
I
just
wanted
to
stand
up
and
I
wanted
to
talk
about
the
Prince
Rupert
Regional
Hospital.
A
When
the
premier
visited
our
the
Prince
Rupert
Regional
Hospital
just
a
couple
of
weeks
ago.
You
know
we,
we
talked
with
a
full
complement
of
the
amazing
team
that
keeps
Prince
Rupert,
Regional
Hospital
running
and
we
and
I'm
so
grateful
for
his
visit.
A
I
know
he
didn't
expect
a
shout
out
today,
but
but
he
talked
with
everyone,
he
talked
with
our
kitchen
staff,
our
cleaning
staff,
our
indigenous
Patient,
Liaison,
Diagnostic,
Imaging
I
can
never
say
this
right:
the
MDR
people,
the
medical
device,
reprocessing,
the
people
that
clean
all
the
equipment
and
tools
that
we
use
lab,
techs,
nurses,
doctors
and
administration,
and
we
we
heard
and
I
know
this
and
I
know.
A
Rural
mlas
know
this
too,
but
we
heard
about
how
the
job
versatility
of
rural
Health,
Care,
Health,
Care
Providers,
provide
for
our
people,
and
you
know
they
have
to
wear
many
hats.
A
A
A
So
I
just
wanted
to
say
that
I
can't
believe
I
have
no
time
left,
but
I
just
wanted
to
say
thanks
to
the
premier
for
coming
I'm,
sorry,
I
talked
so
long,
but
I
recently
had
two
procedures
at
the
hospital
and
I
got
to
see
the
physical
challenges
they
spoke
about,
but,
most
importantly,
I
was
well
cared
for
the
people
and
the
staff
were
professional
and
I
just
want
to
give
a
big
shout
out
to
the
the
team
at
principal
Regional
Hospital.
Thank
you.
