A
Member
for
Richmond
North
Center,
thank
you
honorable
speaker
in
Canada,
and
here
in
British
Columbia.
We
celebrate
may
as
Asian
Heritage
Month
it's
opportunity
for
us
to
reflect
and
learn
about
the
achievements
and
contributions
of
Asian
Canadians
throughout
our
Province
and
our
nation.
It
is
also
a
chance
to
acknowledge
and
condemn
the
history
of
anti-asian
hate
and
discrimination
in
this
province.
A
A
Asian
British
Colombians
have
broken
down
barriers
and
make
outstanding
contributions
to
business,
culture,
history
and
economy,
Asian
heritages,
British,
Colombian,
Heritage,
the
history
struggles
and
achievements
are
part
of
the
story
of
British
Columbia,
alongside
many
others
that
make
up
the
diverse
communities
of
our
province.
This
Asian
Heritage
Month.
Let
us
all
us
organize
the
contribution
and
achievements
of
Asian
Buddhist
Colombians,
but
also
we
affirm
our
commitment
to
fighting
against
anti-asian
discrimination.
A
We
must
keep
working
to
make
BC
a
place
where
everyone
feels
welcome
and
where
people
can
celebrate
their
culture
and
Heritage
could
build
the
motor
Mosaic
of
our
great
Province
I
hope
you
will
join
me
in
celebrating
Asian
Heritage
Month
and
this
wonderful
Asian
Canadian
communities
across
BC.
Thank
you,
Mr
Speaker.
