my
best
friends
are
Sikhs
and
it
seek
Heritage
months.
Sikhs
have
been
in
British
Columbia
for
more
than
100
years
and
have
played
a
vital
role
in
shaping
the
social,
cultural
and
economic
fabric
of
our
communities,
being
home
to
the
largest
population
of
Sikhs
in
all
of
Canada
BC.
First
celebrated
sea
Heritage
Month
in
2018,
with
the
purpose
of
honoring
the
contribution
and
aspirations
of
all
Sikh
Canadians,
and
developing
a
greater
understanding
and
appreciation
of
a
rich,
unique
and
diverse
heritage.

marks
the
occasion
of

celebration
of
the
spring
harvest,
the
holiest
celebration
and

Faith,
which
also
marks
the
celebration
of
Khalsa
by

Singh.
As
we
celebrate
Sikh
heritage
month.
We
must
also
recognize
the
challenges
of
the
Sikh
Community

discrimination
and
racism.

city
hall,

the
Surrey
Khalsa
Day

Saturday,

22nd
or
and
come
to
my
home
Kelowna
and
join
us
in

parade
on
April
29th.
