Standing Committee Meetings have been reintroduced into the monthly Council Meeting process and will operate in accordance with Council’s adopted Code of Meeting Practice Policy.
Health and Building Committee will consider all matters relating to cultural activities, Library, Art Gallery, Geocentre and any other function the Council delegates.

ignorant
meeting
of
the
health
and
building
committee.
Standing
committees
have
been
introduced,
the
council
meeting
process
in
order
for
committees
to
consider
reports
prepared
by
council
officers
and
to
make
recommendations
regarding
those
reports.
The
monthly
council
meeting
council
delegates
on
the
health
and
building
committees
are
mayor.
Kennedy
myself,
as
has
deputy
mayor
councillor,
chandler
councillor
dewett,
councillor
gallagher
and
councillor
turley.

support
the
work
of
the
foundation,
broken
hill
project
officer
to
identify
and
research,
improved
child
care

council
partners
with
foundation
bragging
hill

advocate
for
additional
services
for

expansion

services

council
rights,
the
appropriate
federal
and
state
ministers,
as
well
as
local
members.

honourable
mark
corden
and
mr
roy
butler

reinforce
the
urgency
of
increasing
child
care
availability
within
the

actually
brought

up

federal
member
on
several
occasions.
So
the
federal
member
is
quite
aware
of
our
concerns.
As
far
as
the

child
care
in
broken
hill,
we've
spoken
on
a
number
of
different
things
about
setting
up
the
the
family
day,
care
centers
and
that
sort
of
stuff.

definitely
definitely
more
than
willing
to
speak
to
the
federal
member
again
and
I'm
sure
a
federal
member
probably
wouldn't
mind
having
other
councillors
there.

like
to
get
as
many
people
as
possible
at
those
things
so
that
the
federal
and
the
state
member
know
that
as
a
council,
these
are
important
issues.

developments
that
are
occurring

think
that
it
would
be
important
in
the
planning
process
that
both
the
federal,
particularly
as
this
is
federal,
that
they
would
actually
be
the
ones
reaching
out
to
us

concerned,
especially
with
the
they've,
got
two
national
significant
mining
sites.

and
cobalt
blue.
It
just
challenges
me
at
times
that
the
government
never
keeps
up
to
council.

surprised
that
either

state

a
federal
member
would
have
as
near
as
much
idea
of
what's
going
on
in
the
community
as
what
we
do

mayor's
mayor
or
any
of
the
councillors,
or
indeed

management

it's
up
to
us
to
make
sure
that
the
federal
member
understands,
if
you
know,
we've
only
got
one
spot
for
seven
children.

half

it's
been
spoken

been
on
the
right
track,

the
people
that
have
been
coming
to
any

councillors

that
there
is
a
shortage
and
it's
been
proven
now

a
survey,

we
can
now
use
that
to
push
our
cause.

art
mural
at

street,
broken
hill,
that
the
approval

given
for
the
mural
to
be
completed
by
the
end
of
september.

thousand

goodwill

they

reluctant

first

at

they

have

They
need
further

months
because
they
couldn't
have
it
done
by
this
year's
now

open
it
in
the
long
weekend

october,

they
need
up
until
next

they're
quite
happy

remember

we

giving

briefing

law
department

we
hand
over
delegations
or
do
policies,
we
still
hold
the
authority

delegations

authority

decision
making.

was

breach
of

best
way

the

work
with
the

had
the

the
director
of

gallery

us

we
had
a
council
meeting
on
that,

then

last
council
meeting,

rebranding

name

changed,
but
the
flagging
was
not.

asked
for
an
interview
by
the

by
otis
fillery,
who
said
to
me.

would

back
the
rebranding
when
it
had
already
been
paid
for,
and

said

hold

interview
right

and

my
knowledge
it

money

never

declared
to
us
as
counselors
that
the
money
had
been
spent.

already

informed

within
the
arts
area

council,

know
it.

the
time
we
voted.

been

spent
between
that

period.

report

can
that
be
taken
into
account

through
the
