From YouTube: Strategic Partnerships Committee Meeting: Dec. 1, 2022
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
B
B
C
It
going
good
sorry
can't
be
there
in
person.
Work
meetings
preclude
me
from
driving
around
town.
D
D
D
B
D
Order
of
businesses
to
approve
the
minutes.
So
if
anyone
has
any
changes
to
the
minister,
the
last
meeting-
please
let
us
know
otherwise-
I'll
make
a
motion
to
for
business.
D
A
D
Probably
a
world
called
it's
a
good
idea
since
we're
in
the
hybrid
setting
I
have
a
list.
If
you
want
me
to
call
the
names
that
would
be
great
Kimberly
Robinson,
not
president
Liz
hi
Annie
approved
Doug.
E
D
And
I
know
that
Angela
is
taking
notes,
so
we
can
use
that
for
a
while.
D
Angelica's
working
on
getting
our
agenda
on
the
screen.
Okay,
if
you
don't
overcome
the
next
topic,
but
I'm,
not
inside
business,
yes,
so
the
site.
B
A
Are
still
going
on
and
they've
been
pretty
amazing,
the
ones
that
I've
been
able
to
make
it
to.
A
To
anybody
have
anything
going
well
yeah,
and
this
year
is
the
first
time
I've
got
to
do
any
in
person
and
those
in
person
are
powerful,
I
think
to
just
a
deeper
sense
of
what
the
orientation
is
or
what
you
know
just
seem
like
situated.
A
I,
don't
know,
yeah
I've
enjoyed
them
all,
but
I
absorb
that
stuff
like
a
sponge,
but
the
the
in
person
I
think
is
impactful.
B
A
D
Two
upcoming
there's
one
on
December
6th
at
nine
o'clock
for
Carolina
small
business,
where
we
only
have
one
person
signed
up
and
December
16th
at
one
o'clock
for
the
open
doors.
This
is
one
that
was
rescheduled.
We
don't
have
anyone
sign
up
for
that.
So
if
you
have
to
check
your
calendar,
so
let
me
know
December
6th.
Of
course.
This.
B
D
I
I'm
glad
that
he
shared
that
and
I
think
Kevin
has
to
drop
off
shortly
into
the
meeting
as
well.
Glad
that
you
could
be
here
for
a
portion
of
it.
B
D
D
It's
always
helpful
to
send
out
the
list.
B
D
This
morning
the
YWCA
site
visits
they
were
backed
back
and
in
person
they
were
really
great
but
I.
It
got
me
thinking
about
the
three-year
requirements.
D
Program:
I,
don't
know
if
that's
in
its
third
year
but
I
believe
it
was
slim.
Actually
it's
so
do
we
have
an
option
to
get
more
clarity
from
the
Commissioners
about
whether
it's
hard
and
fast?
If
there
are
some
exceptions,
it
is
hard
and
fast.
Yes,
okay,
if
your
question
is,
could
it
could
it
change
in
the
future?
I
think
that's
a
different
conversation
and
could
be
a
really
rich
one.
D
That
definitely
came
up
because
this
morning,
when
we
were
over
the
place
program,
which
has
been
a
funded
for
three
years,
we
as
staff
want
to
make
sure
for
saying
and
proactively
communicating
with
the
grant
recipients.
But
that
will
do
that
because
it's
it
could
be
a
funding
Cliff
for
some
and
we've
been
talking
about
it
for
three
years,
so
it
should
come
as
new
information
and
and
be
curious
about
the
community's
thoughts.
A
I
tell
you
how
his
the
legal
services
that
they
would
be
able
to
handle
it
sure
they'll
just
write
it
for
something
else,
and
not
every
organization
has
the
correct
or
death
of
funding
or,
or
you
know,
a
portfolio
of
options
to
be
able
to
say
well,
we
can
just
reframe
what
we
do
in
a
new
way.
B
A
E
G
G
I
think
this
has
been
fantastic,
seeing
the
work
being
done,
but
the
challenges,
the
county,
the
program
us
to
do
better
Outreach
and
find
out
about
their
work
going
on
going
on
that
might
be
funded.
That's
one
thing
the
three
year
limit.
Does
it
also
challenges
the
organizations
to
be
more
mindful
about
that
funding,
but
and
to
look
throughout
public
sources
of
funding
other
than
County
Government.
D
There
are
firmware
applications
that
are
that
come
in
each
cycle.
I
was
looking
for
a
stat
on
that,
but
I
didn't
find
more
quickly.
Then
we're
able
to
find,
and
so
having
some
come
and
some
goal
is
necessary
process
and
have
the
ability
to
find
new
projects
and
there's
no
right
answer.
No.
What's
what's
the
right
way
to.
A
G
For
those
programs,
they
usually
buttons
I
think
it
was
a
virtual
site
visit.
You
know,
I
think
we
had
a
conversation
last
year.
Is
this:
something
government
should
just
be
funded
rather
than
going
to
a
grant
committee
that
yes,.
D
So
if
you
were
to
be
fast
forwarded
to
your
Grant
review
in
next
summer
and
asked
do
we
want
to
keep
the
site
visits
again?
B
G
A
D
So
I
know
it's
a
struggle.
Some
of
them
being
virtual
are
helpful.
B
G
I
also
find
them
extremely
satisfying.
Very
rewarding
I
learned
about
a
locker
around
the
community,
who
are
very
different
from
applications
and
I
still
always
have
the
fear
that
then
biased
towards
those
programs
is
more
familiar
with
them.
We
have
them
to
help
some
sort
of
relationship,
so
we're
reading
an
application.
We're
actually
reading
our
experience
as
well,
as
opposed
to
say,
a
new
organization
trying
to
come
in
so
they're
a
competitive
disadvantage
for
three
years.
G
A
I
love
this
at
the
same
time
and
that,
but
that's
my
experience,
although
I
had
heard
other
committee
members,
or
at
least
one
maybe
say
that
they
have
had
the
opposite
experience,
where
they've
been
biased
against
something
because
of
what
they
learned
in
the
same
business.
So
it's
a
way
to
I,
guess,
uncover
or
to
I
mean
it's
a
different
form
of
evaluation
at
your
brick
location.
But
when
you
yeah
it's
just
another
piece
of
an
evaluation
process,
I
guess
that's
outside
of
the
automation
period,.
D
D
I
forgot
open
door
when
they
rescheduled
it.
They
did
request
a
switch
there's
to
Virtual
so
that
one
on
the
16th
is
virtual
online.
D
Today
I
know
we
have
the
bylaws
we'll
have
to
approve
today.
Yes,
I'd
like
to
walk
you
through
that.
If
you
read
please.
B
D
A
lot
of
sense
to
Commissioners
when
we
had
suggested
that
we
have
three
districts
and
I
have
committee
members,
three
from
age:
that'll,
keep
us
balanced
and
I
think
we've
reduced
it
twice.
Maybe
since
then,
you
know
we're
not
in
charge
local
delivery
districts,
the
Athens
of
the
state
districts
I.
Think
anyway,
it's
not
a
local
decision
and
the
whole
point
is
to
have
Geographic
diversity.
D
So
why
not
just
say
we're
looking
for
Geographic
diversity
and
make
it
more
complicated
for
ourselves
but
tethering
into
commissioning
districts,
so
the
bylaw
of
the
new
packet
accomplished
them
they
strike
and
I,
don't
know
if
you're
able
to
switch
the
document
that
is
on
the
screen
Angelica.
But
there
is
a
document
in
the
packet
called
bylaws
proposed
revision
is.
D
Edited
version
that
shows
on
on
the
first
page
of
the
document
under
Item
B
membership,
it
used
to
say
members
shall
represent
expertise
in
the
Strategic
Plan
Focus
areas
and
represent
the
geographic
diversity
of
the
county
with
three
members
or
commissioner
District.
So
if
we
strike
through,
if
you
scroll
just
a
tiny
bit,
so
we
see
the
red
font
there,
you
go
straight
through
the
last
portion
of
that
sentence.
D
A
D
So
the
Commissioners
have
the
zip
codes
or
nurses
at.
D
And
everything
in
that
this
round
have
they
found
someone,
or
there
was
at
least
one
application.
The
person
had
was
of
interest
to
Commissioners,
but.
B
B
G
D
D
I
hear
what
you're,
saying
and
I
think
they
value
Geographic
diversity
because
of
the
City
County
and
district-based
elections.
That's
something
that's
important
to
this
set
of.
G
D
I
agree:
if
you
would
like
to
make
a
motion
to
that
that
version
of
it
that's
okay,.
G
D
It
can
make
them
at
a
disadvantage
for
our
scoring,
and
our
discussions
in
here
I
think
the
geographic
I
I
agree
that
there
are
a
lot
of
facets
to
diversity
that
should
be
looked
at
my
that
would
be
that
the
geographic
diversity
helps
us
keep
in
or
helps
the
Commissioners
keep
in
mind
that
in
serving
the
entire
County,
we
need
a
pool
of
people
that
come
from
the
entire
County
as
much
as
possible
as
much
as
they
can.
D
A
A
G
I
say
two
things:
one
is
that
having
at
least
with
my
cycle
her
the
commissioner
discussion
around
potential
appointments?
Of
course,
then
it
was
by
District,
so
that
might
have
impacted
that
that
I
think
there
are
other
attributes
of
candidates
that
will
that
will
likely
be
the
things
be.
G
Things
talked
about,
I
think
Geographic
diversity
is
important,
I'm,
not
suggesting
it's
not
and
I'm,
suggesting
that
there
are
other
forms
of
diversity
that
are
also
important
to
represent
other
groups,
for
example
I'm,
not
sure
I,
don't
know
if
we
have
a
team
member
of
the
committee,
so
diversity
opens
it
up
to
different
kinds
of
persons
coming
Geographic,
but
under
demographic
rights.
These
words
as
well
and
I,
think
that
has
a
value
and
I
also
think
it
better
represents
what
the
Commissioners
actually
do
to
the
extent
that
I've
observed
it
yeah.
D
F
D
C
C
In
just
a
minute,
but
we
have
the
authority
to
you
know
really
change
this
part.
This
seems
like
this
is
something
told
To
Us
by
the
Commissioners
right,
like
they're,
the
ones
appointing
people,
so
it
feels
like.
C
Who
are
going
to
determine?
Do
we
have
to
live
in
certain
districts?
Do
we
have
to
represent?
You
know
certain?
You
know
other
qualifications,
and
so
it
kind
of
feels
like
we're.
Writing
our
own
rule
set
a
little
bit
which
I
understand
with
a
lot
of
the
bylaws,
but
this
is
a
little
weird
because
it's
like
us
telling
the
Commissioners
how
to
appoint
people.
D
Yeah
I
appreciate
your
question.
Kevin
and
procedurally
I
worked
with
the
county
attorney
to.
B
D
Out
who
changes
this?
If
there
is
a
resolution
by
the
Board
of
Commissioners
needed
to
make
the
change,
except
so
at
first
and
then
he
came
back
and
said.
Actually
this
is
there
wasn't
an
initial
resolution.
It
wasn't
written
into
resolution
in
this
warding
by
Commissioners.
So
if
this
body
that
has
the
authority
to
update
its
silos.
D
I
sent
messages
and
heard
feedback
on
a
one-on-one
basis.
They
haven't
talked
about
it
in
a
meeting
they
would
like
to
have
the
Restriction
of
District
removed
and
they'll
be
satisfied
to
hear
that
it's
been
handled
and
if
there
are
additional
edits
that
are
made
at
the
same
time,
that's
also
okay,.
C
Okay:
okay!
Well,
that
sounds
great
I
appreciate
that
his
that
information,
I'm
gonna
second
raise
motion
to
just
make
it
diversity
of
the
county.
I.
Think
that
covers
a
lot
of
information,
and
that
sounds
good
by
me.
But
I'm
happy
with
wherever
the
committee
votes,
I
apologize,
I
have
to.
E
Leave,
as
am
I
so
I
have
to
leave
too
by
the
way
the
new
scoring
using
the
five
point
plan.
I
very
much
like
I
thought
it
was
a
good
streamlined
effort
and
it's
good
to
be
inconsistent
with
the
other
committee.
D
D
D
B
D
Yeah
Kate.
A
B
D
Okay,
so
we
did
get
the
information
about
this
news.
Foreign
criteria
for
the
flooring
criteria
does.
D
A
A
Incomplete
as
one
point
to
excellent
as
Five
Points
and
in
between
it
runs
from
incomplete.
That's
one
point
insufficient
two
points.
Adequate
is
three
points
of
good,
has
four
points,
an
excellent
as
five
things,
and
we
did
kind
of
bolster
the
language
a
bit
in
terms
of
what
detail
is
provided
at
each
of
those
Point
levels
to
try
and
provide
some
more
clarity
to
the
scoring
system
and
what
committee
members
can
be
looking
at
as
you
do
your
reviews
about
the
patients
and
valuations,
and
this
was
brought
to
us.
A
We
have
had
a
commissioner
speak
to
wanting
to
see
more
of
this
in
our
committee
work,
as
well
as
our
work
with
Nancy
bacon
Consulting,
who
we've
hired
as
a
support
for
capacity
building
within
Grant
making
in
the
county,
and
she
also
brought
this
to
our
attention
as
something
that's
a
best
practice.
A
So
this
is
something
the
the
one
to
five
scale
is
something
that
the
early
childhood
education
committee
utilizes
and
will
be
using
the
exact
same
scoring
model,
and
it
standardizes
it
a
bit
across
those
two
grant
funding
opportunities
within
the
county,
making
it
more
standardized
as
well
as
consistent
across
the
Committees
Sarah.
G
Is
the
best
practice
that
the
process
and
measures
be
consistent
between
programs?
Of
course,
the
best
practice
that
one
divides
more
effective
than
one
to
ten.
A
The
former
first
and
foremost,
the
one
to
five
practice,
was
more
so
a
consolidation
of
the
scores,
so
that
I
think
there
was
some
confusion
amongst
committee
members,
potentially
with
a
range
of
like
one
to
two
being
one
scoring
element
three
to
four
five,
six,
so
on
so
forth,
it
got
a
little
bit
confusing
in
there.
So
the
consolidation
from
one
to
five
just
makes
it
much
more
clear
as
to
which
Point.
D
D
The
other
major
thing
we
want
the
group
to
hear
is
that
we've
added
the
budget
question
back
in
so
that
it
would
match
the
Early
Childhood
Grant
tool.
So
that's
that's
a
departure
and
it
was.
This
could
did
a
lot
of
intentional
work.
I,
don't
know,
maybe
any
year
the
one
person
who's
here
that
was
on
the
subgroup
that
dug
into
that
or
they
don't
either.
D
D
B
Yeah
anyway,.
D
We've
been
using
a
tool,
and
it's
been
serving
our
purposes
really
well
and
if
you're
familiar
with
it,
we
are
bringing
in
political
staff.
Recommendations
eventually
try
to
be
a
little
bit
more
in
a
supporter,
rather
than
leadership
position
of
committee
decisions
and
given
when
our
consultant
is
bringing
back
to
us
listening
to
doing
the
focus
groups
with
great
applicants
and
other
feedback,
we
want
to
try
and
try
this
real,
quick
with
any
adjustments.
A
It
felt
like
it
helped
give
me
the
I
think
I'm
always
so
concerned
about
personal
subjectivity,
because
this
part
is
subjective.
It's
intuitive.
It's
all
these
things
that,
like
and
and
as
I
read
through
the
descriptions
I
was.
D
And
Liz
we
heard
you
during
the
reflection
I
think
it
was
the
video
that
had
suggested
that
staff
also
do
a
review
of
budgets.
So
we
will
do
that.
We
haven't
figured
exactly
like
how
how
we'll
convey
it
back,
but
it
does.
Budget
forms
are
a
little
Technical,
and
so
we
want
to
make
sure
we're
reading.
A
D
And
one
of
the
requests
was
for
groups
that
don't
get
funded
to
hear.
Why
and
we
don't
currently
write.
D
G
Hello,
and
for
me
this
makes
sense
to
me,
although
personally
I
actually
prefer
the
10
point
thing,
but
in
a
in
a
committee
this
large
it
averages
out
anyway,
so
it
it
doesn't
really
make
a
functional
difference.
So
I'm
all
for
the
clarity.
B
D
A
Who
have
initially
had
December
12th
in
there
and
decided
that
an
extra
week
would
be
helpful
in
making
sure
that
we
have
these
discussions
with
committees
and
update
all
of
the
application
materials
to
reflect
consensus
and
clear
thoughts
of
committees,
members,
so
December
19th
all
Grant
applications
will
open
they'll,
be
closing
on
February
10th,
so
that
gives
couple
months
for
applicants
to
complete
their
applications
within
that
time.
We're
also
going
to
be
hosting
our
optional
great
writing.
A
If
any
applicants
have
lingering
questions
about
their
applications,
they
can
reach
out
to
myself,
Rachel
or
Angeline,
and
we're
happy
to
talk
to
them
and
provide
some
guidance
as
we
will
not
be
participating
in
the
review
of
the
applications
and
then
on
April
28th.
That
will
be
the
deadline
for
committee
funding
recommendations
due
to
the
budget
office
to
build
into
the
FY
24
budget
and
then
in
May
2023.
The
committee
Grant
recommendations
will
be
published
with
the
county,
manager's
budget
message
and
then
June
2023.
A
D
There
be
when
it
opens
up
for
us
to
score.
Will
there
be
sort
of
a
fast
way
to
discern
whether
the
the
program
has
been
funded
for
three
years,
and
this
is
now
coming
to
a
course
with,
or
should
we,
because
otherwise
we're
gonna
have
to
move
around
yeah.
B
D
D
D
Might
be
are
talking
about
finalizing.
We.
We
had
a
lot
of
discussions
last
year
this,
but
about
whether
to
fund
certain
requests.
I
think
it
was
up
to
10
000
at
100
or
not.
Can
we
before
we
have?
Our
discussions,
have
a
recap
of
that?
Yes,
just
to
eyeballs,
so
that
when
we
start
talking
about
it,
we're
all
because
it's
hard
to
remember
from
one
year
to.
G
The
next
it's
really
hard
to
remember
what
I'd
love
to
do
is
do
that
before
we
actually
get
the
applications,
so
people
don't
think
so
we're
doing
it
more
in
the
abstract
like
what's
appropriate.
What's
it
supposed
to
specific
applicants
and
thinking
about
them
and
because
some
that
guy
can
get
extend
to
our
conversation,
I
feel
you
might
have
actually
prompted.
So
if
you
do
it
just
in
the
abstract,
then
we're
just
being
completely
objective.
If
that's
possible
over
time,
it.
D
D
We
made
an
adjustment
I'm
thinking
about
anything,
the
suggestor
on
it,
where
the
funding
scenarios
we
bring,
will
all
of
the
balanced
or
have
a.
D
D
So
no
vote
is
needed,
but
we
do
want
the
sign
out.
So
if
you
haven't
had
a
chance
to
look
through
or
if
you
think
about
this
career
as
your
driving
home
and
replaying,
this
conversation-
and
you
have
other
thoughts
drop
us
a
line
like
you
heard
Sarah's
day,
we
won't
be
releasing.
D
It
came
to
December,
so
we
still
have
time
to
drink
it.
If
you're
asking
for
like
a
pretty
big
change
that
we
think
we
needed
to
put
from
the
committee
on
your
email
likely,
you
know
if
you
suggest
wording
or
something
like
that.
B
D
D
A
Yes,
I
just
wanted
to
share
with
the
committee
officially
that
I'm
after
site
visits
at
the
end
of
the
year
I'm
going
to
have
to
step
down,
and
it
was
very,
very
reluctantly
that
I
came
to
the
decision.
I
feel
like
this
committee
is
like
personally
professionally
so
aligned
with
what
I
want
to
do.
As
far
as
learning
about
the
organizations
that
are
out
there,
it's
been
so
rewarding
and
enlightening
I,
just
can't
I've
gotten
so
much
out
of
it
that
it
was
really
hard
to
to
give
up.
A
I
will
tell
you
if
you
listen
to
the
timeline
of
the
date
ahead.
I
have
the
reason
I've
already
shared
with
Rachel.
Is
that
I
have
a
17
year
old,
daughter,
who's,
turning
18
on
April,
9th
and
she'll
be
making
College
decisions.
I
will
be
doing
her
last
big
Fanfare
birthday,
it's
literally
just
about
that,
and
if
she
goes
to
college-
and
maybe
if
my
second
one
goes
to
college
I
will
be
reapplying
now
that
there
are
no
District
requirements.
A
So
thank
you.
Everybody
and
I
hope
to
keep
in
touch
with
each
of
you
and
Rachel
knows
how
to
find
me.
But
y'all's
team
welcome
Sarah,
because
this
is
a
incredibly
well-run
group
to
be
working
with.
You
all
have
our
kind
of
make
me
kind
of
life
goals
with
the
organization
and
that
you
bring
and
the
way
you
articulate
what
our
what
our
goals
and
challenges
are.
So
I
hope
everybody
continue
to
help.
But
I
don't
know
why
I'm
making
a
long
speech
about
it,
because
it's.
B
B
D
B
B
B
D
D
In
the
spirit
of
that,
we
appreciate
all
of
all
that
you
do
and
to
this
no
small
task
to
take
on
the
set,
because
it's
over.
