A
Good
afternoon
welcome
to
the
community
informational
meeting
on
march
23rd.
My
name
is
stacy
wheat,
isuela
public
information
officer
with
the
county
department
of
health
and
human
resources
in
bank.
Today
I
insist
anders
and
providing
an
update
on
the
response
to
cob
and
19
in
care.
As
a
reminder,
you
can
find
this
update
in
spanish,
live
on
the
bank
camps,
county
facebook,
page.
A
A
A
A
A
Today,
the
percentage
of
positive
tests
is
3.4
percent.
The
fact
that
We
have
not
had
a
single
death
related
to
the
due
arc
I
saw
19
in
almost
the
week
after
the
news
and
our
hospital
indicators.
They
continue
to
be
stable
and
favorable,,
but
I
am
concerned
about
the
new
rise
in
cases
and
the
fact
that
our
percentage
of
positive
tests
continues
to
decrease,,
even
though
it
continues
to
be
well
below
5%,.
I
want
us
to
continue
working
on
this
percentage,.
A
The
test
figures
for
Kobe
19
continue
to
decline
compared
to
the
numbers
we
saw
during
the
winter
surge
and
is
similar
to
the
numbers
we
saw
during
the
summer
surge.
Although
we
expected
to
see
a
decline
decline
in
testing,
it
is
still
important
to
get
tested
if
you
have
been
exposed
or
present
symptoms
of
the
virus.
So
far,
testing
remains
important.
The
virus
continues
to
spread
and
with
the
imminent
arrival
of
its
variants,
we
are
not
yet
complete.
A
Our
journey
testing
will
continue
to
be
a
vital
tool
to
help
identify
new
cases
quickly
and
reduce
transmission
through
isolation
and
contact
tracing
until
we
have
more
people
vaccinated
,.
So
much
progress
has
been
made
in
terms
of
decreasing
cases
and
vaccinating
our
population,,
but
we
still
haven't
vaccinated
enough
people
to
stop
doing
things
that
matter
or
help,
like
wearing
their
masks,,
especially
in
public
places
and
with
people
who
do
not
live
in
your
home,
keep
the
necessary
distance
and
wash
your
hands.
We
want
to
encourage
you
not
to
let
your
guard
down
now.
A
A
Remember
there
is
a
new
testing
provider
in
our
community
thanks
to
the
partnership
between
the
boone
county
departments
of
health
and
human
resources
with
living.
The
state
services
are
free
and
are
in
evita
on
sundays.
Visit
start
makes
points
for
more
information
and
to
register
for
an
appointment
to
be
tested.
A
The
department
of
health
and
human
resources
is
currently
vaccinating
eligible
individuals
in
groups,
1,
2,
3
and
4.
These
include
individual
health
workers
over
the
age
of
65
first-class
workers
to
essential
line
adults
between
the
ages
of
18
and
64,
who
have
high-risk
medical
conditions,
incarcerated
individuals
and
those
who
are
homeless.
Our
weekly
baseline
allocation
is
3,510.
This
is
an
increase
from
recent
weeks,
plus
the
state
health
department
bank
county
is
receiving
300
doses
for
vaccination
purposes.
A
A
We
are
excited
to
work
with
our
partners
at
the
north
carolina
community
health
center
next
week
to
vaccinate
historically
underserved
populations
in
the
frontline
essential
worker
pool
with
our
matching
allocation
plus.
We
are
not
accepting
a
transfer
of
400
doses
of
our
hospital
partners,
s
to
disclose
and
vaccinate
individuals
who
are
in
local
detention
centers
and
who
are
homeless.
As
of
yesterday,
,
3.6
million
doses
of
vaccine
have
been
administered
in
north
carolina.
94,345
total
doses
of
vaccine
have
been
administered
in
our
county.
A
The
second
dose
and
I
am
grateful
to
our
team
and
the
teams
of
each
provider
of
vaccines
in
our
community
for
their
dedication
and
hard
work
to
be
able
to
vaccinate
our
population
as
well
as
vaccine
providers
who
receive
fed
transfers,
state
or
local
vaccines
translates
into
more
access
and
a
better
opportunity
for
our
friends
and
neighbors
to
get
vaccinated
when
they
are
eligible.
If
you
belong,
where
the
currently
eligible
groups
1-4
are
interested
in
getting
vaccinated,
please
go
further
on
that
geo
point
v
to
find
a
vaccine
provider
in
your
area.
A
If
you
are
not
sure
which
vaccine
group
you
are
in
and
if
you
find
my
group
point
in
that
point,
g
or
v
for
more
information,
remember
you
can
get
your
first
dose
anywhere
and
It
is
important
that
you
return
to
that
location
to
get
your
second
dose.
All.
Second
doses
are
sent
based
on
the
assignment
and
administration
of
your
first
dose.
The
organization.
That
gives
you
your
first
vaccine
will
give
you
your
second
vaccine
to
close.
Remember
that
the
fight
is
not
over.
A
A
The
key
to
slowing
the
spread
of
kobe
19
is
finding
the
new
cases
quickly,
as
we
continue
to
roll
out
the
vaccine
in
our
county,
state
and
country
and,
lastly,
get
your
vaccine
when
it
is
available.
We
have
three
safe
and
effective
vaccines
available
in
our
state.
If
you
are
wondering
which
is
the
best
vaccine
for
you
remember
that
they
are
all
safe
and
effective
in
reducing
deaths,
hospitalizations
and
serious
illnesses,
the
best
opportunity
is
the
one
that
is
available
in
terms
of
vaccines.
This
trifecta
of
use
of
precautions,
test
and
trace.
A
A
To
close,
thank
you
for
being
with
us
today.
As
stacy
sounders
said,
it's
not
time
to
claim
victory.
We
have
to
keep
taking
the
19
hobby
seriously.
Let's
keep
working
together
to
stop
how
life
in
our
county
for

information

kobe
19,

tests
and
