Description
Buncombeready.org.
A
Thank
you
again,
commissioners
and
community
members
for
your
time.
Listening
during
this
update
today.
My
message
today
will
sound
like
a
bit
of
a
repeat
but
a
very
positive
repeat.
Our
local
indicators
continue
to
improve
as
the
rise
of
the
omicron
variant
continues.
Fading
can
be
seen
in
this
epidemiological
curve
that
we
can
certainly
see
the
impact
of
the
omicron
variant
and
as
we
move
to
March
1,
as
this
has
come
down
to
a
low
level,
our
case
rate
has
already
dropped
below
100
and
is
currently
At
51
new
cases
per
100,000
people
per
week.
A
This
is
a
65%
drop
since
I
last
updated
on
March
1st.
Our
positivity
rate
continues
to
drop
and
is
now
below
4.7
percent.
Two
additional
deaths
were
added
to
the
marker
last
week,
and
this
is
a
decline.
After
two
weeks
of
stagnation,
the
Hospitalizations
continue
to
be
low
and
following
favorable
trends
with
inpatient
beds
filled
with
cobe
19
patients
and
ICU
utilization
well
below
alert
thresholds.
Our
local
metrics,
seen
here
are
already
moving
into
favorable
areas
can
be
seen
in
this
slide
that
our
positivity
rate
is
still
in
the
orange
zone.
A
The
rest
of
the
risk
of
disease
has
been
reduced,
as
well
as
hospitalizations
and
deaths
at
home,
from
cobi
19
to
At
the
same
time.
We
know
that
some
people
and
communities
like
our
personal
elders,
Immunocompromised
girls
and
people
with
disabilities,
are
still
at
risk
of
serious
infections.
The
community
assessment
tool
can
help
people
make
decisions
based
on
their
level
of
risk.
A
At
this
medium
level,
we
are
not
offering
recommendations
for
the
entire
community
or
population,
but
people
with
underlying
health
conditions
may
want
to
continue
to
wear
a
mask
indoors
when
the
county
is
and
remains
at
this
median
level.
In
this
median
area,
it
is
still
recommended
to
get
tested
if
exposed
or
have
symptoms
and
be
up
to
date.
A
On
your
vaccinations,
the
community
assessment
tool
places
an
emphasis
on
the
burden
that
kobe
19
places
on
the
community
by
first
looking
at
cases
week
after
week,
and
then
places
more
emphasis
on
hospitalizations
than
other
metrics
tracked
in
the
past.
These
are
precisely
the
metrics
where,
in
this
specific
phase
of
the
pandemic,
we
have
been
following
locally.
Our
emphasis
will
be
to
reduce
serious
illness,
hospitalizations
and
deaths
as
such,
the
public
health
service
migrate
to
the
community
assessment
tool
and
eliminate
local
metrics.
A
We
believe
that
the
transition
to
the
community
tool
is
aligned
with
the
direction
we
have
been
going
since
early
2022,
with
an
emphasis
on
the
community
impact
of
cobe
19
as
well
as
hospitalizations
kobe
19
will
continue
to
be
a
part
of
our
lives
in
the
future.
We
will
use
the
community
assessment
tool
to
help
identify
additional
precautions
based
on
our
risk
also
provides
a
weekly
cadence
to
monitor
trends
as
well
as
the
metrics
we
have
been
tracking
and,
lastly,
reduces
confusion
by
moving
to
one
consistent
tool.
A
Instead
of
maintaining
two
different
tools
to
assess
these
individual
risks
and
community
and
brief
mind
in
public
health
services
will
be
migrating
to
the
community
assessment
tool
this
week.
In
addition
to
moving
our
monitoring
of
local
trends
to
the
community
assessment
tool,
our
covid
19
command
team
has
deliberated
and
decided
that
we
move
to
community
briefings
once
once
a
month,
beginning
April
5,
with
decreasing
trends
in
community
understanding
of
common
risk-based
recommendations
and
precautions,
and
as
we
integrate
these
cob
and
19
precautions
into
normal
health
department
operations.
A
Changed
in
vaccine
acceptance
by
age
group
in
the
last
two
weeks,
vaccinations
continue
to
increase,
but
at
a
slower
rate
than
before
and
last
week,
the
panko
county
department
of
health
and
human
resources
saw
an
increase
in
vaccines
administered
thanks
in
part
to
our
equity,
focused
community
outreach,
which
I
will
talk
about
on
the
next
slide.
Overall
72
percent
of
the
population
elected
has
received
at
least
one
dose
and
nearly
99,000
have
received
their
third.
A
Dose
efforts
continue
to
be
the
majority
of
doses
administered
at
this
time
through
bank
county
department
of
health
and
human
resources.
Everyone
knows
those
in
the
service.
Hr
health
has
moved
all
existing
kobe
19
vaccination
clinics.
As
of
2
feb
1st,
this
transition
has
been
smooth
and
going
well.
People
can
visit
us
at
40
cox,
ave
and
can
drop
in
last
week
we
partnered
with
health
care
and
what
to
see
uai
and
mexico
consulate
to
provide
vaccinations
in
Over
the
course
of
three
days.
A
A
While
we
were
providing
these
vaccines.
And
as
a
reminder
to
our
neighbors
that
neighbors,
who
are
not
yet
up
to
date
with
their
vaccinations,
the
reports
undoubtedly
indicate
in
countries
from
Europe
that
they
are
beginning
to
see
an
increase
in
cases
and
I
want
to
remind
you
that
if
you
are
missing
a
dose
or
have
not
started
their
doses
still
now
is
the
time
to
do
it.
A
Then
please
remember
to
keep
up
with
your
vaccinations
and
if
you
have
not
started
your
series,
please
do
it
now.
Community
testing
is
still
available
in
pan
county
with.
If
you
are
having
symptoms
or
have
been
exposed,
you
can
visit
the
estar
med
site
to
find
a
place
and
time
to
get
tested
is
currently
at
med
continues
to
provide
testing
in
asia
at
the
action
bone
and
the
convention
center
causes
me
to
be
discontinued.
A
Treat
people
can
get
tested
and,
if
positive
and
eligible
for
treatment,
they
will
be
able
to
receive
a
suitable
prescription
or
prescription
from
a
qualified
health
care
provider,
and
getting
your
prescription
in
one
place
is
basically
getting
to
be
able
to
do
it
all
in
one
place.
For
those
people
who
are
cobe,
19
positive
and
who
are
eligible
for
treatment.
A
One
test
and
one
prescription
pickup
in
the
same
location,
there
are
77
locations
and
retail
pharmacies
within
north
carolina
and
3
are
located
in
northern
county.
Bangkok
are
listed
right
here
are
all
cbs
pharmacies
and
are
expected
to
be
added
in
the
coming
weeks
in
additional
programs
and
locations
by
mid-march
we
anticipate
the
federal
administration
will
launch
an.
A
Immunization
location,
locator,
the
department
of
health
and
human
resources
also
expects
to
update
its
treatment
locator
with
the
test
and
chip
or
test
to
treat
program,
designation
for
locations
participants
and
this
to
be
able
to
designate
different
decorations
that
can
offer
treatments
and
to
close
here
some
things
to
remember,
remember.
It
is
of
great
importance
to
assess
your
level
of
risk
and
consider
additional
precautions
as
necessary,
based
on
that
risk.
A
Take
into
account
the
symptoms
or
exposure
to
people
with
who
have
kobe
19,
if
exposed
or
experiencing
any
symptoms,
consider
getting
tested
in
the
community
by
a
medical
provider
or
tested
through
home
testing.
If
positive,
you
have
symptoms,
you
want
at
home
and
wear
a
mask
when
be
around
other
people,
and
if
you,
you
are
at
high
risk
of
serious
illness,
talk
to
your
healthcare
provider
about
treatment
or
visit
the
health
and
human
resources
service
web
page
find
my
sweet
meant
and
consider
getting
your
missing
dose
of
vaccine
today.
