A
Good
afternoon
my
name
is
Stacey
would
I
serve
as
a
public
information
officer
in
the
Emergency
Operations
Center
today
is
April
9th.
It's
not
debate
the
correct
date,
I,
don't
think!
Actually,
sorry
what
13
sorry
today
is
April
13th
2020
and
today's
community
update
on
the
Cova
19
response
in
Bakken
County
includes
updates
from
dr.
Jennifer
mullendore,
the
Buncombe
County
interim
Public,
Health
Director
and
Fletcher
to
Buncombe
County
Public
Health
preparedness
director.
Our
goal
in
providing
these
updates
is
to
ensure
that
everyone
in
our
community
has
access
to
the
same
information.
B
Good
afternoon,
as
of
2:00
p.m.
today,
there
have
been
a
total
of
38
lab,
confirmed
cases
of
kovat
19
and
Buncombe
County
residents.
C
C
C
C
So
what
does
this
mean
for
everyone?
As
you
go
to
the
supermarket
the
pharmacy
or
the
hardware
store,
you
may
be
asked
to
wait
outside
on
a
one-ounce
1in
basis
for
admittance.
If
there
is
a
long
line,
this
means
that
you
may
be
outside
for
a
while,
as
you
are
waiting
outside
in
these
lines,
there
should
be
six
foot
intervals
marked
out
so
that
you
can
keep
your
physical
distance
while
waiting
to
enter.
C
C
I
also
want
to
make
everyone
aware
that
we
continue
to
see
an
increase
in
scams
and
predatory,
predatory
tactics
as
bad
actors
play
on
people's
fears
and
desires
to
help
others.
During
this
time
of
crisis,
we
encourage
everyone
to
remain
vigilant
and
be
wary
of
unknown
links
and
websites
and
to
verify
that
any
charity
you
are
communicating
with
is
an
actual
charity
and
to
always
safeguard
you
and
protect
your
private
data
and
information.
Thank
you.
