A
Hi
everyone
and
welcome
to
our
fall
and
winter
episode
of
come
out

I'm
your
host,
Angie
Hall.
Well,
the
weather
is
beginning
to
cool
off
and
fall
is
in
the
air.
The
buncombe
county,
library,
recreation
and
Culture
Department
and
black
mountain
recreation
and
parks
have
some
exciting
programs
and
events
coming
up.
First,
we'll
talk
about
what's
going
on
here
in
Buncombe
County
and
then
we'll
go
visit
with
Cindy
Kirkland
and
Black
Mountain.
So
listen
up.
Everybody
dodge
ball
is
just
around
the
corner.
A
So
if
you're
interested
in
getting
signed
up
now's
the
time
to
do
it,
the
dodge
ball
games
begin
on
january
six
and
run
through
februari
23rd
Sign
Up
star
on
October,
first
and
end
on
December
nineteenth
or
when
16s
have
signed
up.
Teams
consist
of
six
players
which
can
be
all
males
all
females
or
coed
team
games
will
be
played
at
the
UNC
Asheville
Justice
Center
on
Tuesday
evenings
from
6
15
until

15.
A
The
season
consists
of
teams
playing
seven
games
each
week
and
lasting
up
to
five
minutes
per
game
for
a
total
of
forty
nine
games.
A
round-robin
tournament
for
all
teams
will
also
be
played.
The
winning
team
will
receive
a
plaque
to
commemorate
their
accomplishment.
The
cost
is
225
dollars
for
a
team
of
six
or
forty
dollars
per
person.
A
Well,
we
probably
don't
put
much
thought
into
it,
but
kites
have
been
used
for
thousands
of
years
to
bring
joy
and
delight
for
those
who
like
to
fly
them
and
for
those
who
simply
just
like
to
watch,
but
the
art
of
kite
making
ranges
from
the
most
simple
to
the
most
intricate
and
dramatic
of
designs.
Kites
have
also
had
very
practical
uses
that
provide
scientific
information,
light
and
satellite
beacons.
Military
applications
and
human
flight
come
to
the
Buncombe
County
Sports
Park
on
Sunday
october,
eleventh
to
celebrate
world
caught
day
by
flying
a
kite.
A
The
event
will
be
from
1
to
4,
so
bring
your
favorite
kite
or
just
come
to,
and
if
you
don't
have
your
own
cut,
no
problem,
we
can
provide
you
with
one.
Just
give
us
a
call
at
our
office
at
eight

so

15
and
younger,

fish,
the
smallest
fish
and
the
biggest

There
will
also
be
a
contest
to
show
off
your
casting
skills.
The
fishing
tournament
will
be
held
at
Lake
Chilean
park
on
Saturday
September
27th
from
830
a.m.
to
1130am.
Cost
is
only
ten
dollars
and
includes
lunch
after
the
event,
and
there
will
be
prizes.
A
Galore
children
will
be
grouped
into
five
age
categories
and
prizes
will
be
awarded
in
each
of
those
categories
for
the
most
fish
caught,
the
biggest
fish
called
and
the
smallest
fish
called.
So
even
the
youngest
kids
have
a
chance
at
winning
a
prize
registration
is
the
day
of
the
event.
From
eight
to
eight-thirty
a.m.
we
have
more
fun
in
store
for
the
kids
right
here
out

a
new
story,
walk
it's
going
to
be
along
the
trail
here.
So
please

Are
a
large
number
of
vaccines
that
children
get
these
days,
but
the
point
of
every
vaccine
is
to
protect
against
a
certain
illness
that
is
common
at
that
age,
and
so
vaccines
start
right
after
birth
in
the
hospital,
a
vaccine
against
hepatitis
B
is
encouraged
and
then
beginning
at
two
months.
Children
start
to
get
several
vaccines
at
a
time
and
again,
all
of
these
vaccines
are
to
protect
against
diseases
that
once
killed
many
infants
and
young
children
prior
to
the
existence
of
vaccines.
