A
B
Bank
over
the
last
few
years,
in
my
time
on,
Council
I've,
come
to
really
appreciate
the
community
that
we've
developed
here
the
ability
to
walk
up
and
down
the
street
and
say
hi
to
your
neighbors,
to
listen
to
their
concerns
and
to
be
heard
in
return.
That
is
a
great
part
of
what
it
means
to
be
in
Burbank,
and
my
hope
for
the
future
is
that
we
open
our
very
first
ever
year-round
homeless,
shelter
with
Services
included.
I
also
aspire
to
hold
the
first
annual
media
jobs.
B
C
Bank,
my
name
is
Nick
Schultz
and
I
have
the
pleasure
of
serving
as
your
vice
mayor.
You
know
what
drew
me
and
my
family
to
Burbank
and
what
keeps
us
here
is
probably
the
same
thing
that
you
all
love
about
it
in
the
bustling
Metropolis
that
is
Los
Angeles,
where
I
think
folks
can
feel
like
a
number
and
Burbank.
You
feel
like
home.
You
get
to
know
your
neighbors,
you,
you
know
the
small
business
owner
and
you
know
your
favorite
coffee
shop.
You
you
care
about
each
other,
the
way
that
we
celebrate
holidays
together.
C
Halloween
being
probably
my
favorite
I
love
the
way
that
this
community
comes
together
to
celebrate
and
in
a
way
that's
inclusive
of
everybody,
and,
despite
all
of
the
great
things
that
we
have
in
Burbank
I
know,
we
have
our
challenges
too.
We're
dealing
with
homelessness,
we're
dealing
with
a
housing
shortage.
Our
economy
is
good,
but
it
can
always
be
better.
We
are
still
leaving
folks
behind
and
so
for.
C
As
long
as
I
have
the
pleasure
of
serving
as
a
member
of
your
Council
as
vice
mayor
and
maybe
one
day
as
your
mayor,
I'm,
going
to
work
as
hard
as
I
can
tirelessly
to
tackle
those
issues
to
make
sure
that
my
daughter
Ella
and
my
son
Aiden,
just
like
all
of
your
kids
and
your
grandkids,
your
nieces
and
your
nephews
inherent
inherit
such
an
amazing
Community.
Just
like
we
have
all
enjoyed.
Thank
you
again
for
the
opportunity
to
serve
all
of
you.
D
There's
so
much
to
love
about
Burbank
that
it's
so
hard
to
pick
I
love
that
we're
a
big
city
with
small
town,
charm
and,
ultimately,
I
love
Burbank.
For
all
the
reasons
that
many
of
my
friends
and
neighbors
do
it's
a
safe
and
beautiful
place
to
live,
but
I
want
to
take
a
minute
to
tell
you
about
all
the
new
things
I've
fallen
in
love
with
in
my
hometown.
D
The
use
of
Burbank
are
so
energized
they're,
passionate,
they're
eager
to
get
involved
in
making
our
city
a
better
place
and
they're.
My
inspiration
every
day,
I
feel
so
honored
to
have
already
been
able
to
work
on
some
of
my
key
priorities.
Alongside
my
colleagues,
we
passed
quality,
pay
and
benefits
to
retain
and
recruit
our
firefighters.
We
directed
staff
to
focus
on
Street
plans
that
prioritize
Vision
zero,
which
means
zero
accidents
and
an
emphasis
on
traffic
safety
rather
than
speed
getting
across
town.
D
Looking
forward,
I
really
hope
to
work
alongside
my
colleagues
to
alleviate
the
pressure
caused
on
Burbank
residents
by
the
cost
of
housing
to
work
with
our
community
as
well
to
surpass
our
climate
goals
through
new
groundbreaking
policies.
I'm
looking
forward
to
taking
a
proactive
look
at
each
of
our
unique
neighborhoods
that
make
up
our
community
and
to
see
how,
through
their
specific
plans
and
our
general
plan,
we
can
uplift
the
characteristics
that
make
them
so
special
while
preparing
them
for
a
sustainable,
safe
and
prosperous
future.
E
E
E
I
also
invite
you
to
sit
with
me
at
one
of
my
coffee,
chats
I,
love,
coffee,
chats
to
find
out
more
about
upcoming
events
and
to
re
receive
my
summary
of
each
city
council
meeting
go
to
burbankcounsel.substack.com
and
sign
up
for
an
email
to
be
sent
straight
to
your
inbox.
Now.
Please
excuse
me,
as
I
have
to
make
a
report
about
a
pothole
on
my
street
on
the
3-1-1
app
have
a
great
day,
foreign.
A
I
absolutely
love
the
City
of
Burbank,
its
Vibrant
Community,
beautiful
neighborhoods
and
welcoming
atmosphere
make
it
an
amazing
place
to
call
home
as
a
proud
resident
for
41
years.
I
am
committed
to
ensuring
that
Burbank
remains
a
great
place
to
live,
work
play
and
raise
a
family
over
the
next
four
years.
I
hope
to
accomplish
several
important
goals
that
will
benefit
our
community.
These
include
supporting
our
Public
Safety,
enhancing
our
infrastructure,
supporting
small
businesses,
protecting
our
neighborhoods
and
promoting
sustainable
development.
A
These
goals
are
essential
for
ensuring
the
well-being
and
the
quality
of
life
for
our
community
I
believe
that,
with
my
background
and
knowledge
in
public
service
and
my
passion
for
serving
others,
I
can
help
make
these
goals
a
reality.
By
working
together,
we
can
build
a
brighter
future
for
Burbank
and
ensure
that
it
remains
a
city
that
we
can
all
be
proud
of
and
call
home
foreign.
