From YouTube: Good Morning BHS 9 30 20
Description
Principal Green's morning message.
A
I
also
want
to
again
invite
you
to
spend
time
with
the
counselors
as
well
they're
continuing
with
their
drop-in
hours.
I
think
they
begin
at
10
o'clock
today.
Just
look
at
the
website
under
the
counseling
department
and
also
they're
going
to
host
a
coffee.
The
counselors
are
going
to
host
a
coffee
from
7
30
to
8
30
on
friday,
outside
of
the
building.
So
if
you
want
to
go
and
speak
with
your
counselor
and
mingle
with
some
peers,
please
remember
this
event.
A
On
friday,
from
7
30
to
8
30.,
I'm
going
to
switch
gears,
I'm
going
to
kind
of
popcorn
all
over
the
place
with
a
few
updates
and
reminders.
I
directed
you.
I
gave
you
all
a
homework
assignment
yesterday
in
terms
of
thinking
about
politics
and
civic
duty,
and
I
asked
you
to
tune
into
the
debate,
especially
the
9th
and
10th
graders,
who
may
not
have
had
as
much
experience
participating
in
politics.
A
I
will
say
that
last
night's
debate
was,
I
will
say,
a
little
unusual
I'll
leave
it
at
that.
So
here's
what
I
want
you
to
do,
here's
another
homework
assignment.
I
would
like
you
to
go
onto
youtube
and
research,
past
debates
and
see
what
you
can
determine
as
some
some
differences
in
terms
of
format,
style
and
behavior
of
the
candidates
in
those
debates.
So
I
want
you
to
do
a
little
research
just
pick
up
a
couple
from
our
our
past
and
do
a
comparison
to
what
you
saw
last
evening.
A
The
next
part
of
this
is,
I
have
a
trivia
question
for
you
and
I
had
a
trivia
question
at
the
assembly
a
couple
of
weeks
ago
and
I
awarded
a
prize
to
our
senior
mayor
posted
davis.
I
haven't
sent
it
to
her
yet,
but
she
won
a
50
amazon
gift
card.
So
I
have
another
trivia
question
for
you.
In
regard
to
debates,
so
here's
the
question
when
was
the
or
what
year
was
the
first
televised
presidential
debate
and
who
were
the
candidates?
A
So
the
trivia
question
is
which
has
a
prize
if
you
get
it
correct
what
year
was
the
first
televised
presidential
debate
and
who
were
the
participants?
So
once
you
hear
this
question,
I'm
sure
you'll
probably
jump
onto
some
internet
source,
or
you
may
know
it
already
and
email.
It
email
that
answer
to
me
and
the
first
person
that
answers
it
correctly
will
win
a
prize.
A
This
is
also
a
reminder
for
our
students,
who
are
18
and
older,
make
sure
that
you
register
and
participate.
Do
your
civic
duty
and
go
out
and
vote
next.
Remember
that
the
office
hours
have
changed
from
wednesday.
A
A
Last
night
there
was
a
a
very
special
or
board
meeting
where
our
superintendent
and
state
consultants
were
able
to
talk
about
our
building.
They
were
able
to
define
pcbs,
which
are
the
harmful
contaminants
that
have
caused
our
building
to
be
shut
down.
Others
there
are
very
helpful
and
informative
descriptions
of
what
those
are
and
the
harm
they
can
potentially
do.
There's
a
lot
of
information
about
our
plan
moving
forward
and
what
we
hope
to
accomplish
in
terms
of
getting
students
back
into
one
central
location.
A
So
please
go
on
to
the
district
website
and
go
to
burlington
school
district,
and
when
you
look
at
the
tab
under
the
school
board
agenda
in
minutes,
you
can
watch
the
board
meeting
from
last
evening.
You
will
hear
parents,
you
will
hear
scientists,
you
will
hear
school
officials
talk
about
the
building
and
future
plans.
It
is
very
informative.
A
So
if
you
have
a
chance,
please
watch
that,
and
I
will
end
by
saying
that
I
have
another
math
department
shout
out
from
miss
showing
she
wanted
to
shout
out
and
give
a
congratulations
to
cadence
leforce
for
the
work
that
they've
been
doing
in
her
math
class.
They've
been
showing
up
regularly
and
doing
a
great
job,
so
congratulations
cadence.
A
I
hope
that
you
have
a
great
day.
I
really
want
you
to
stay
engaged.
Remember
wednesday
is
not
a
day
off.
You
should
still
be
connecting
with
teachers
connecting
with
peers,
completing
assignments
and
getting
work
done
so
respond
to
my
trivia
question
and
send
me
emails.
If
you
have
anything
else
have
a
great
day,
let's
go
see
horses.
