C
Let's
recognize
that
we
were
able
to
play
from
start
to
finish
this
school
year,
which
is
a
testament
to
the
hard
work
and
diligence
of
our
coaches,
our
school
community
and,
most
importantly,
our
student
athletes
before
we
send
them
back
to
our
host
for
this
evening.
We
would
like
to
take
this
time
to
reflect
on
the
past
year.
D
We
are
in
a
month
number
15
of
the
coveted
pandemic,
and
this
while
there's
light
at
the
end
of
the
tunnel,
we
still
have
a
little
farther
to
go
when
our
world
shut
down.
Last
march,
there
were
so
many
unknowns
in
addition
to
the
hundreds
of
thousands
of
lives
lost
to
this
corona
virus.
We've
endured
a
lot
within
our
community
school
community.
C
C
It
represented
an
opportunity
to
inject
seahorse
pride
and
spirit
back
into
our
community
when
there
were
doubts,
an
opportunity
for
our
students
to
perform
on
the
biggest
stage,
voice,
trophies
and
race
championship
banners
and,
most
importantly,
it
represented
an
opportunity
to
silence
the
naysayers
and
give
everyone
across
the
state
a
small
glimpse
into
why
we
know
our
future
at
burlington.
High
school
is
bright.
C
D
C
B
A
This
is
all
to
honor,
bhs
athletics
and
the
great
work
we
as
athletes
have
been
doing
this
year.
Boys
soccer
and
girls-
nordic
both
took
home
state
championships
and
some
of
our
spring
teams
are
looking
very
promising
that
boy's
soccer
ball
is
pretty
impressive
anyways,
it's
been
a
long
while
since
bhs
has
been
on
top,
but
we
want
to
make
it
sure
it
stays
that
way,
and
we
think
that
honoring
athletes
with
a
nice
event
like
this
can
only
help
with
that.

established

the
memory
of
timothy
james
trottier,
a
former
burlington
high
school
student
athlete
tim
never
had
the
opportunity
to
participate
in
varsity
sports
because
of
his
untimely
death,
and
it's
likely
that
he
would
have
been
a
great
contributor
to
burlington
athletics
at
varsity
level
as
well.
The
recipient
of
the
tim
trouty

is
presented
annually
to
an
outstanding
senior
football
player,

the
qualities
that
william
packett
displayed
bill
was
a
young
man
with
a
great
desire
to
excel
in
football
and
in
athletics.
C
It
was
through
this
response
that
bill
lost
his
life
because
of
his
love
for
his
fellow
man
because
of
his
natural
tendency
to
help
others
and
because
of
his
own
complete
disregard
for
his
own
safety
in
saving
the
life
of
a
friend
who
was
in
danger
of
drowning
bill
gave
his
own.
What
greater
love
and
sacrifice
can
one
human
being
make
for
another
bill?
Was
quiet
and
unassuming
and
never
a
problem
to
his
coaches,
teachers
or
teammates.
