Go
hello,
iaa
and
welcome
to
this
week's
town
meeting.
It
has
been
such
a
joy,
walking
around
the
building
and
coming
into
classrooms
and,
seeing
all
of
you
engaging
in
your
learning
and
having
fun
with
friends,
we
wanted
to
give
all
of
you
a
huge
shout
out
for
doing
such
an
awesome
job
wearing
your
masks
and
adjusting
to
all
of
the
new
safety
routines.
It
has
been
a
lot
and
you
are
showing
up
with
great
courage
and
positivity,
so
keep
up
the
good
work
and
here's
a
round
of
applause
to
all
of
you.
C
C
It
was
so
great
to
see
all
the
photos
of
all
of
you
engaging
in
different
activities
around
the
school
and
outside
classroom
time.
It
sure
looks
like
it's
been
a
great
couple
weeks.
This
year
we
are
going
to
be
featuring
celebrations
of
learning
from
each
class,
and
today
we
wanted
to
show
some
examples
of
what
that
might
look
like
and
to
show
you
some
things
that
are
happening
around
the
building
that
you
might
not
be
able
to
see.

This
mural
was
created
by
iaa
staff
during
our
in-service
days
before
school
started.
It's
inspired
by
philadelphia,
artist,
ambarella
she's,
a
street
artist,
and
she
has
a
series
called
philly
got
heart.
This
mural
we've
titled
ia's
got
heart
each
staff
member
created
their
own
heart,
with
a
positive
affirmation,
message
or
mantra
for
the
ia
community
and
then
designed
it
in
whatever
medium
they
chose.
You
can
see
some
staff
members
chose
to
collage
here's
an
example
of
cartooning.

Last
year's
first
grade,
who
are
now
second
graders,
created
these
all
winter
and
spring
and
didn't
get
a
chance
to
hang
them
up
so
now
we're
able
to
display
them
and
share
their
learning.
It's
an
arts
integrated
unit
that
I
co-taught
with
miss
rose
and
miss
d,
and
it's
all
about
social
studies
and
art.

Next,
we
looked
at
different
kinds
of
maps
to
decide
what
information
they
were
showing
us.
Then
all
first
graders
went
on
a
scavenger
hunt
around
the
neighborhood
to
collect
data
about
the
architecture
in
the
old
north
end
back
in
the
classroom.
Students
use
geometric
shapes
line
and
pattern
to
draw
their
household
building
and
then
add,
functional
and
decorative
elements
such
as
stairs
shutters
and
shingles.
Some
students
even
drew
their
own
home.

Each
staff
member
came
up
with
one
word
to
describe
something
that
they
could
offer
our
community
this
year.
In
this
great
big
time
of
change,
the
staff
then
worked
together
to
create
tableaus,
while
also
trying
to
show
connection
in
a
tableau
and
work
together,
while
keeping
their
physical
distance
so
notice.
What
are
some
ways
that
they
did
this
and
how
did
they
achieve
connection
while
at
a
physical.
