is
eager
to
share
his
thinking.
He
remembers
the
little
details
about
everything
and
helps
keep
us
on
top
of
things.
Sumip
is
shown
here
working
on
his
math
problems.
He
took
the
extra
step
to
do
both
sides
of
the
problem
set
way
to
go,
sami,
keep
up
the
good
work
and

First

been
even
more
of
a
rock
star
than
usual
this
past
week.
She
has
thrown
her
positive
problem
solving
skills
into
every
subject,
area,
art,
math
social
situations
and
reading.
It's
like
she
powered
up
to
a
new
level
of
awesome
way

go.

She
works
hard
adds
to
our
restorative
circles
thoughtfully
and
honestly
and
asks
questions
when
she
needs
clarification.
I
was
impressed
last
week
as
she
completed
a
math
assessment
showing
her
understanding
of
place,
value
and
large
numbers
and
working
through
tricky
questions.
Never
giving
up
leah
keep
inspiring
us
with
your
determination
and
creative
style.
I
can't
wait

silly
story
or

comment

share
and
is
always
engaged
in
every
task
we
complete.
She
is
a
great
friend
a
helper
to
those
who
need
it
and
her
kind
heart
shines
through
well.
I've
gotten
to
watch.
You
grow
as
a
student
and
person
for
two
years,
and
I'm
so
thankful
for
that.
I
can't
wait
to

a

all
by

when
she
does
math.
She
says:
oh,
I
know
how
to
do
this
and
she
finishes.
The
paper.
Elena's
birthday
was
on
sunday
happy
belated

he
is
friendly
with
everyone
in

A
fun
fact
about

is
that
he
enjoys
learning
how
to
play
the
guitar.
Joe
is
actually
one
of
the
fastest
third

and
exciting.

super
fun
and
funny.
He
also
remembers
certain
things
that
the

do
that.
C
Mr

forgets
to
include
in
the
schedule
or
do
in
the
moment
and
reminds
his
teacher
about
these
things
in
a
respectful
way,
which
mr

appreciates

asks
questions
and
makes
interesting
comments

katie.
This
week
we
would
like
to
acknowledge
katie.
As
our
student
of
the
week,
katie
has
grown
so
much
as
a
writer
over
the
past
few
weeks
as
we've
examined,
expository
writing
katie
uses
constructive
criticism
to
revise
and
edit
her
work.
C
She
engages
with
the
writing
process
to
elaborate
on
supporting
details
and
create
captivating
topic
sentences.
Come
check.
The
beginnings
of
a
report
on
arctic
foxes
keep
up
the
great
work
katie
and
congratulations
on
being

Look
at

She
focuses
on
the
task
at
hand
whether
making
a
creative
piece
of
artwork
writing
about
a
book
or
trying
a
tricky
math
problem.
You
might
even
catch
a
glimpse
of
her
smiling
eyes
or
a
playful
dance
move.
C
C
Our
staff
of
the
week
is
miss
hannah.
We
are
all
so
fortunate
to
have
miss
hannah
at
our
school.
Whenever
I
see
her
throughout
the
day,
she
always
has
a
smile
on
her
face
and
no
matter
what
miss
hannah
is
doing.
She
has
a
positive
impact
on
everyone
around
her
miss
hannah
goes
above
and
beyond
to
support
our
students.
She
is
a
great
artist
and
so
enjoyable
to
be
around
miss
hannah.
Thank
you
for
all
your
hard
work
and
we're
so
grateful
for
all
that
you
do
for
our
iaa
community.
D
We
have
officially
run
out
of
bracelets
and
we
are
waiting
for
more
to
arrive.
So
this
week
we
will
deliver
your
pencil
and
as
soon
as
those
new
bracelets
arrive,
we
will
come
and
give
one
to
you.
So
thank
you
for
your
patience
and
your
flexibility.
It's
really
how
we
roar
this
week.
We
are
really
excited
to
have
miss
alyssa
back
with
our
last
creature,
crawl,
installation
and
I'm
looking
forward
to
seeing
where
this
one
is.
D
E
E
B
Final
creatures
of
the
creature
cross,
the
step
class
and
fifth
graders
have
been
patient
as
their
clay
creatures
went
into
the
kiln,
a
very
hot
oven
for
baking
play.
Then
everyone
chose
their
glaze
colors
to
brighten
these
tile
monsters
before
waiting
again
for
another
trip
into
an
even
hotter
kiln,
now
fully
fired.
These
shiny
creatures
are
hanging
out
nearby.
D
Well,
thank
you,
miss
alyssa,
for
that
great
video
on
showing
us
the
process
of
preparing
for
an
installation,
and
it
was
fun
to
get
a
sneak
peek
of
that
kiln
of
yours
and
I'm
really
looking
forward
to
seeing
where
this
last
creature
crawl
installation
is.
I
wonder
if
any
of
you
have
seen
any
clues
or
evidence
of
that
sighting
and
thanks
to
miss
michelle
for
putting
together
that
sweet
little
video,
giving
us
a
little
preview
of
the
aurora
celebration
on
tuesday
with
the
scavenger
hunt
through
the
building.
D
So
we
will
have
more
of
that
to
come
next
week
at
town
meetings,
so
stay
tuned
this
week
we
wanted
to
take
some
time
to
honor
the
legacy
of
dr
martin
luther
king
jr,
with
some
inspiring
quotes
from
him
as
well
as
some
other
african-american
leaders
in
our
community
following
our
quotes,
is
also
some
artwork
from
miss
sue
and
miss
emily.
So,
let's
take
a
look
at
some
quotes
here.
Are
some
quotes
and
see
some
art.
H
H
If
you
can't
fly
then
run,
if
you
can't
run
then
walk
if
you
can't
walk,
then
whatever
keep
moving
forward
ultimate.
The
ultimate
measure
of
a
man
is
not
where
he
stands
in
moments
of
comfort
and
confidence,
but
where
he
stands
at
times
of
challenge
and
controversy,
change
will
not
come
if
we
wait
for
some
other
person
or
if
we
wait
for
some
other
time
we
are
the
ones
we've
been
waiting
for.
We
are
the
change
that
we
seek
barack
obama.

Wow,
thank
you
to
all
of
you
for
sharing
those
inspiring
messages
and
the
beautiful
artwork
that
is
happening
all
throughout
our
building.
I
wanted
to
end
today
by
sharing
a
little
piece
of
writing
from
a
poet
who
I
just
learned
about
yesterday,
as
many
of
you
may
have
as
well
amanda
gorman,
who
recited
her
poem
at
the
presidential
inauguration
yesterday,
and
I
wanted
to
share
just
a
few
lines
from
the
ending
of
her
poem
with
all
of
you.
