A
C
First
grade
student
of
the
week
in
miss
jackie's
class
is
anushka.
Anishka
is
a
bundle
of
energy
in
our
classroom.
She
loves
to
express
herself
through
movement
and
has
a
flair
for
art
she's,
often
drawing
when
there
is
free
time.
Anishka
has
also
been
working
very
hard
on
her
reading
and
grasping
new
concepts.
We
love
having
anushka
in
class.
Thank
you
for
all
you
bring
to
our
classroom
anushka
and
congratulations
on
being
first
grade
student
of
the
week
first
grade
student
of
the
week
in
mr
leal's
class
is
christina,
christina
consistently
amazes
her
teachers.
C
She
is
a
hard
worker
who
has
advanced
several
reading
levels
in
a
few
months,
she's
also
a
kind
friend
who
is
always
willing
to
help
those
in
need
also
she's
hilarious.
Thank
you
christina
for
bringing
your
humor
intelligence
and
kindness
to
our
learning
community.
Everyone
loves
you
and
congratulations.
On

first
grade
student

the
week
second
grade,
students
of
the
week
in
miss
heather's
class
are
icra
and
stella.
I
gave
our
class
a
very
tricky
math
problem.
Students
worked
in
partners
to
solve
this
place,
value
mystery.
C
Some
people
think
that
mathematicians
are
people
who
immediately
know
the
answers
to
a
math
problem,
but
our
class
knows
that
a
mathematician
is
someone
who
thinks
about
a
problem
and
tries
out
strategies
to
solve
it.
Guess
what
icare
and
stella
did
they
built
a
solution?
They
knew
that
they
could
prove
the
value
if
they
built
it
and
made
trades.
They
even
checked
their
work
twice.
C
These
two
unstoppable
mathematicians
are
headed
to
third
grade,
with
persistence
and
determination
way
to
go
icaron
stella
and
congratulations

to
make
outstanding
progress
all
together.
C
These
four
girls
have
moved
30,

this
year,
I'm
so
impressed
by
their
tenacity

works,
hard,
is
kind

respects
her
teachers
and
classmates
when
azalea
needs
help
with
something
she
raises
her
hand
and
waits
patiently
for
the
teacher
to
call
on
her.
She
uses
polite
words
and
helps
her
classmates.
If
she
can,
azalea
has
been
such
a
fantastic
role

for
learning.
Her
focus
is
unshakable
and
her
creativity
is
endless.
Nina
is
always
a
leader
in
mathematics
and
really
shows
this
during
number

She
is
always
willing
to
share

numbers
well
and
comes
up
with
multiple
solutions
to
problems

C
It's
always
fun
to
go
on
a
family
trip,
but
coming
back
and
getting
caught
up
on,
work
can
be
tricky
not
for
rowan
rowan
just
returned
and
what
was
one
of
the
first
things
rowan
did
when
she
got
back
to
school.
She
took
the
initiative
to
meet
with
mr
mike
to
figure
out
what
assignment
she
needed
to
get
caught
up
on
and
then
jumped
right
into
working
on
them,
even
sacrificing
her
own
quiet
time,
rowan
thanks
for
taking
the
initiative
to
be
a
responsible
learner,
and
it's
great
to
have
you
back
in
the
classroom.
C
Congratulations

rowan
fifth
grade
student
of
the

is
aditya.
We
have
been
talking
about
quests
in
fifth
grade.
The
students
have
some
big
ones
in
front
of
them,
including
the
s
backs
and
transitioning
to
middle
school.
Aditya
is
a
perfect
companion
for
quests.
He
always
helps
us
see
the
bright
side
of
things.
He
is
funny.
He
collaborates
well.
He
shares
his
creativity.
He
works
hard
and
he
reminds
us
to
be
curious
about
the
world.
C
Thanks
for
helping
us
find
the
right
way
to
get
through
challenging
things,
aditya
and
congratulations
on
being
fifth
grade
student
of
the
fifth
grade
student
of
the
week
in
mr
curious
class
is
alamasi.
Our
fifth
grade
class
would
like
to
recognize
alamosa.
As
our
student
of
the
week,
his
ability
to
transfer
into
a
different
class.
This
late
in
the
school
year
has
not
gone
unnoticed.
It
feels
as
if
he's
been
here
all
along.
He
brings
a
smile
every
day,
compassion,
energy,
to
learn,
motivation
and
kindness.
We
are
very
thankful
to
have
him
in
class.
Congratulations!
C
Lmrc!
On
being
fifth
grade
student
of
the
week.
Our
staff
of
the
week
are
miss
arika,
miss
quinn,
miss
andrea
and
miss
kristen.
This
week
we
honor
the
creative,
hardworking
el
team.
They
are
dynamos
working
softly
yet
persistently,
with
our
students
each
and
every
day
we
have
watched.
You
make
huge
differences
in
the
lives
of
our
students
over
the
years
and
be
the
solid
foundation
from
which
language
grows
and
blossoms
many
times.
Your
work
goes
without
praise,
but
we
see
you
el
rockstars,
and
we
applaud
your
steady
work.
C
D
Hello,
iaa
and
welcome
to
friday,
town
meeting
and
congratulations
to
our
students
of
the
week
and
our
staff
members
of
the
week.
Let's
give
them
all
a
big
round
of
applause,
keep
rockin
and
roarin
through
your
day.
We
greatly
appreciate
all
that
you
do
to
show
us
how
you
are
students
and
staff
members
of
the
week.
D
This
week
we
have
a
celebration
of
learning
from
mr
whitman's
third
graders,
who
have
been
learning
all
about
healthy
communities
and
healthy
neighborhoods,
all
through
drama
art
and
technology,
and
they
will
be
showing
us
all
that
they've
learned
about
healthy
communities
as
well
as
their
big
project
of
fill
the
bowl.
So,
let's
take
a
look
into
third.
D
B
E
So
we
make
the
bowls.
Sometimes
we
would
like
one
of
the
ways
we
did
it
is
we
packed
clay
around
a
bowl
to
shape
it,
and
then
we
would
fire
it
we'd,
take
it
off
and
fire
it.
So
we
would
make
bowls
put
a
design
on
them,
fire
them
put
glaze
on
them
and
then
fire
them
again,
and
then
we
would
sell
them
and
they
can
give
them
they
can
give
them.
We
give
the
money
to
charity,
and
then
people
who
buy
the
bulls
can
have
a
nice
bowl
to
eat.
Out
of.
A
G
G
H
H
D
Wow,
mr
whitman's
class:
let's
give
them
some
snaps
for
all
of
their
hard
work.
It
is
so
exciting
to
see
how
you
connected
your
learning
throughout
this
year,
all
around
healthy
neighborhoods
and
what
a
wonderful
celebration
it
will
be
to
see,
fill
the
bowl
in
action
this
year.
I
am
really
looking
forward
to
seeing
those
bowls
all
completed
next
up.
We
have
poem
in
your
pocket
this
year.
We
couldn't
really
do
poem
in
the
pocket.
D
I
It
means
that
everyone
takes
a
poem
and
puts
it
in
their
pocket
or
memorizes
a
poem,
and
you
wear
a
sticker
that
lets
people
know
you
have
a
poem
and
when
you
pass
people
in
the
hallway,
you
recite
your
poem,
because
we
weren't
walking
through
the
hallways.
This
year,
we
decided
to
celebrate
a
little
bit
differently.
I
I
So
what
you're
going
to
see?
Next
are
some
examples
of
riddle,
cues
that
were
written
from
kindergarten
through
fifth
grade
and
done
by
each
class,
but
some
were
done
by
individual
students,
see
if
you
can
guess
what
each
haiku
is
about,
and
if
you
want
to
try
writing
your
own
riddle
coup
go
for
it
and
you
can
give
it
to
miss
jen,
and
I
will
put
it
in
the
book
that
I
created
of
all
the
iaa
riddle
coups
happy
reading.
B
D
That
was
so
much
fun
to
hear
those
riddles
coming
to
life
and
thank
you
to
our
staff
members
who
answered
those
riddles.
It
certainly
was
a
lot
of
fun,
so
let's
give
them
all
some
snaps,
what
a
great
way
to
celebrate
poetry
month
now
for
some
announcements,
it's
that
time
of
year
again,
where
we
order
our
school
t-shirts.
D
So
pay
attention.
Take
a
look
at
the
newsletter.
There
will
be
information
coming
out
as
to
how
to
order
the
t-shirt.
I'm
really
excited
this
one's
a
fun
one.
So
I
can't
wait
to
order
my
t-shirt
next
up
coming
next
week,
we
have
a
recorded
performance
coming
to
us
from
some
special
dancers
who's.
One
of
them
you
might
recognize.
We
will
be
having
a
performance
same
but
different,
brought
to
us
by
our
partnership
with
the
flynn.
Theaters,
so
it'll
be
exciting
to
see
some
dance
coming
our
way
next
week.
D
Next
we
have
the
variety
show
it
is
coming
soon.
Submissions
are
due
may
14th
and
the
variety
show
will
be
on
may
28th.
So
please
get
those
submissions
in.
If
you
need
help
please
reach
out.
I
am
happy
to
help
you
with
getting
your
video
created,
so
that
is
all
for
today.
Thank
you
for
coming
to
friday.
Town
meeting
enjoy
that
sunshine,
and
we
will
see
you
next
week.
