week
at
mr
whitman's
class
is
griffin.
This
week
we
are
celebrating
griffin.
As
our
student
of
the
week,
griffin
certainly
loves
hands-on
learning
and
he
is
super
excited
for
our
maple
sugaring
project
that
will
bring
real-life
math
science
and
nature
into
our
classroom.
B
Griffin
is
a
friend
to
all
and
has
a
bit
of
tech
wizardry
up
his
sleeve,
which
he
often
uses
enthusiastically
to
help
other
friends
problem
solve
griffin
is
also
looking
forward
to
our

fourth

in
mr

is
jackson.
This
week
mr
mike's
class
would
like
to
acknowledge
jackson
as
our
student
of
the
week
recently,
our
fourth
graders
began.
B
An
exploration
of
fractions
in
math
jackson
has
met
the
challenges
of
learning
head-on
and
has
shown
flexibility
and
determination.
Jackson
reflects
on
his
mistakes
and
uses
them
as
learning
opportunities
to
improve
on
his
work.
Jackson,
thanks
for
keeping
a
positive
growth
mindset
as
we
embark
on
a
new
journey
into
the
world
of
fractions,
keep
up
the
great
work
and
congratulations
on
being
student
of
the
week.
B
Fourth
grade
student
of
the
week
for
mr
t's
class
is
lira.
Lira
was
such
a
great
role
model
during
our
first
day
of
violin,
with
mrs
kathleen
on
monday.
She
did
a
fabulous
job
listening
and
following
directions
in
math
she
has
been
really
focused
on
fractions.
She
was
able
to
achieve
a
perfect
score
on
our
first
four
exit
tickets.
Really
impressive
lira
keep
up
the
hard
work.
Math
is
hard,
but
your
concentration
has
been
amazing.
Congratulations
on
being
our
student
of
the
week
fifth
grade
student
of
the
week
for
mr
class
is
olia.
B
Olea
is
our
student
of
the
week
because
of
her
ability
to
participate
during
learning
times.
Participation
can
be
scary
and
nerve-wracking,
but
aaliyah
has
shown
us
how
to
be
brave.
Even
if
we
make
a
mistake
in
our
work.
Elia
has
reminded
us
to
not
let
our
fears
trump,
our
joys
of
participating
in
class
and
remotely
congratulations
on
being
fifth
grade
student
of
the
week.
Olia
fifth
grade
student
of
the
week
for
miss
b's
class
is
alden.
Alden
is
creative,
funny
thoughtful
and
scientifical,
not
a
real
word.
B
His
creative
sense
of
humor
shines
in
his
writing
and
artwork.
He
works
hard
and
thinks
carefully
about
how
people
are
treated
and
about
the
topics
we
discuss
from
states
of
matter
to
history,
for
example,
he
is
adept
at
the
standard
algorithm
for
long
division
already
and
writes
funny
books
and
poems.
If
you
look
and
listen,
you
will
see
and
hear
him
roar
every
day.
Congratulations!
Alden!
On
being
fifth
grade
student
of
the
week,
our
staff
of
the
week
are
miss
mandy,
miss
susmita,
miss
suzanne
and
miss
holly.
B
Our
fabulous
food
service
staff
strive
every
day
to
meet
one
of
the
most
basic
human
needs.
We
all
share
in
common.
These
caring
members
of
our
community
literally
share
nutrients
to
every
classroom
door
in
our
school
and
go
out
of
their
way
to
make
sure
all
of
us
have
nutritious
food
for
our
belly.
That
helps
us
to
remain
energized
for
learning
as
we
grow
strong
and
healthy
together.
Congratulations
to
each
of
you
on
being
our
staff
of
the
week
and
thank
you
so
much
for
all
that.
You
do.

Miss
mary's
friends,
read
a
book
and
learned
about
mae
jemison.
They
learned
her
quote:
if
you
dream
it,
if
you
believe
it,
if
you
work
hard,
anything
is
possible.
Miss
mary's
friends
are
in
the
process
of
drawing
and
painting
portraits
of
themselves
in
their
dream
jobs.
Their
work
isn't
quite
finished
yet,
and
we
wanted
to
celebrate
the
process
of
art,
making.
